Sometimes its always better to listen to your heart, after learning how to do better research on projects i end up listening to few friends because they are the ones that introduce me to bounty hunting not knowing that i have surpass them, every bounties they told me to promote are bad but the ones i choosed myself are
1. Zeux
2. Collectrix
3. Ferrum network

They told me the projects are crap and i believe them,i was so stupid and now all these projects are successful with good trading volumes on exchanges, i have learn a lesson here and that is

No matter the rank of those who were once your teacher you can surpass them, to all newbies and non newbies out there once you learn the basics of crypto you can be unstoppable

Maybe what you mean is listen to yourself who did the research on the projects you want to promote.

Maybe your friends also did theirs and honestly thought that those projects you mentioned were shit but it was still you who had the final say.

Remember also that there is no limit to the bounties you can join as long as you can manage them well. You could have joined those three.

I checked Zeux and the volume is all faked, the real volume is easy to spot by looking at sites that kick you out if you get caught by wash trading.
For example Ferrum trading volume in Binance Dex is $168 / 24h, that seems pretty accurate.

But you are correct on that you can only trust yourself, just consider to listen to people if they have been active in this space longer. We don't know everything but you can get some insights by being around, the intuition just works better when everything is not new to you.

You're probably correct about that.  I don't know anything about any of these projects and have never even heard of them, but the fact is that most of them are scams and even if they aren't, the project is usually trying to impose a blockchain solution on a problem that doesn't need it. 

Op, you say there's good trading volume on the tokens, but that may not last forever.  I'm not sure when the tokens were released for each project, but I can almost guarantee you that interest won't last in them, and if that happens they'll get delisted from whatever exchanges currently list them.  Beware.

Why did you say that zeux has fake volume when it presently has 52k 24hours trading volume on exchange? also same thing with collectrix which has real life working product, zeux coin is trading on coinall exchange at 0.008 and on hotbit exchange at 0.01

I joined both Zeux and Ferrum bounties before but only Zeux has decent payout. You really can't easily judge a bounty campaign whether its profitable or not, as much as possible you should learn to evaluate them so that you can formulate your judgement thats why doing a research is a must before you join them.

It is not about your heart but your research and acknowledgment about the project. Your friends might do not do research beforehand or they were doing it to get a benefit for themselves, that was why all of the recommendations were a scam. Remember dude, when money is involved. You can not trust anybody, because people can change because of it.
I have learned my lesson two years ago too.

Actually this is not about who is better. Everyone is the same and they have a perspective on the analysis they do. But the problem here is that you always prefer to hear what people say rather than the results of your own research. That's not good, you should appreciate the research you have done so far than anyone else. Discussing with friends is a good thing, we can exchange ideas and opinions there. However, we must select what is good for ourselves and never take all their opinions without being picky.

I also plan joining in those campaigns before but been busy in personal life as the bounties isn't paying those times too. Just learn from this experience of yours now OP. Next time follow your research and instincts since some might only using you since they also joined in that bounty or will have a reward for referral. As long as you know you research the project and feels it will be successful then go do it.

in selecting projects it is best to have to do your own research and if your research results are good, then you should try to join the campaign for the reasons you already have. sometimes there are people who don't believe it but you just have to prove it

You don't really surpassed them you just find a lucky project that maybe little by little made out their run. In addition, remember it is not about the finding the project between you and your teacher it is about trusting your decision. Because they are just there just to remind you but in the end the decision will be all yours, always.

Yes, that's the crypto world. Sometimes there are people who don't know anything but talk like a pro. Actually they are also provoked by other people's hype talk. So he believes that the truth is very valid and ignores research.

I can't blame you if you listen to your friends since you mentioned that they are more pioneer than yours. But if you do the research and you are
convinced that the projects have a good future it's best to follow your own understanding, don't forget that it is your money that you will going to use so whatever happened or whatever results they don't any business it's all you who will lose investment not them. Better to learned from this and trust your instinct the next time you will choose a project to invest.

Your friends are not misleading you if that is what you are thinking, they belief that the projects are not good enough and to me they are right, Zeux is not that great same as ferrum but colletrix is the one project that have real working product but its not too great as well because the products are not that popular

surely they have reasons to express this opinion. but it's also good to try the results of separate research. so a choice of heart that can bring you certain answers, because in my opinion also needed in terms of choosing a campaign

Seriously it is very essential to listen to once heart but out of greediness and selfish next one might neglect a call to avoid and accept. It has happened to me countlessly and its isn't doubtable anymore as I breath, sit and rethink before I take actions of steps now. Listing to ones mind helps. And this process has been helpful so much

Technically you really need to listen to those who have superiority at you as a newbie, we all started that way, but you don't have to listen to them forever and follow their tails, that's no good for you. When you think you could do solo, listen to your heart and instinct, trust your judgment so you will not blame it to others if you failed, basically.

That's the reason why we are always advised to do our own research before investing so we'll know how to decide for what we really want. Sometimes most people or even our closest friends would spread Fomo for the coins that they like without knowing its capability and potential. Decide based on your research so you'll never have regrets in the future.

If we do our research carefully, if we do our part to check the legitimacy of a certain project, then our brain will be confident enough and our heart will just feel what's the message of our mind, so better to invest our time in checking about the project we are interested in, don't just depend on the linkedIn stating that the team has a lot of experience because for sure they will write all the things to impress investors.

Do not listed to anyone and make decisions that are always based on your experience and feeling. It is much better to follow your intuition and if something goes wrong, it would be your choice so you can't blame anybody.

This is a cognitive story, I think there were many similar stories. You can’t always rely on someone else’s opinion, always think with your own head. Participate in projects only after a thorough analysis.

Project analysis is not only seen from one side, but from many aspects and views. If your friends doubt this project they may see weaknesses or strange things, but do not consult with other people who follow the project as well. In fact the project was successful and got a good volume on the exchange. I have also participated in projects like that, I stopped in the middle of the road and didn't do it. But after listing on a large exchange I began to regret. The conclusion is that it is better to do a personal analysis first and ask others if there are anything strange or distorted.

If you actually promoted those projects you made mention you would have earn some profits but mind you they are not good enough for long term hold, always learn to follow your instinct and even if you lose you will improve and if you win its even better because you made the choice yourself

Though the essence of this topic does really makes sense. We do really have our intuition bound in us, this intuition is so-called the decision of our hearts where this natural instinct provides us with the clue to determine the reliability of the options that we have because there are times that purely studying a project will not give us the precision to attain what our goal is.

Let's just add a little bit of trust to our intuition plus technical and fundamental analysis.

Success is all about self confidence and determination, you need to be well determined with a strong mentality that can easily help you to achieve. Just believe in your ideologies and trust in your own ability to know when it is good to believe in a project. Opinions from others are important but it is final.

I am very surprised at how people ask for advice and listen to this advice without conducting their own research. You should trust only yourself, because no one will teach you how to make money better than yourself.

Always believe in yourself mate as only you know how you spend your time to research those projects. Don't listen to the internet or to your friends as you will reach a certain age when you will see that some friends don't want whats the best for you....so focus in yourself , listen to your mind and your heart and take the best decision. You missed one but make sure you won't miss the second, keep your information only for you.

It is a good thing you are fully aware that the student one day can become the teacher. What i have say about the post above is to let go regrets because the crypto space is very wide, new projects everyday and opportunities are limitless. So let the pain of loosing potential tokwns not give heartache and focus on the new tokens with potentials in front of you

It doesn't make sense mate. Because here in crypto world research and knowledge is the most important when it comes investing ,wherein relying on your thought or feelings is a big mistake and it can cause  lossing money and regrets at the end . It based on luck only so be smart.! because indeed mostly nowadays are good only on thier testimonials and reference but afterwards they cant succeed despite of the situation and etc. I hope you know what i mean because fraud nowadays are very smart as well. 

Be careful of what you promote, if those lost actually get messed up and people start complaining about their money being stolen they couldhave drag you down and put a tag on you.

Well in any case I have quitted doing bounty with alts, as it only leads me nothing and wasted my time on most of them, so rather go get some real stuff and projects like what is already made and running for you to be sure. But if the case is that you don't have the money to invest then that leaves you no choice but to bet on your reputation and earn some pennies maybe.

References are also necessary, but the most important thing is to follow instinct while still confident. In fact, a person who follows the words of others without instinct is either a loser or does not have a firm stand. so get rid of it all, and be an ambitious person with a precise, accurate, and real analysis. so that someday there is nothing to be disappointed. maybe you seem to understand what I mean.

I think no one would know what can be happen to a project from ICO especially in future. If your friends told that, and now you blame them i think it is bad idea. No one want to make their friend get bad thing. So, if you blame them for project that you think success and they tell to you if the project is bad, from now don't follow any suggestion from them. And if i be your friend, i wouldn't tell you anything since start if know you will blame me when i made a mistake.

In my own opinion, always expect the unexpected because you cannot really say if the project would be worth it to participate with, so why won't you take the risk. Also, not everything that your friends taught you could benefit you, that is why it is not bad to trust your guts sometimes because if you take the risks, sometimes there will be great results that would happen to benefit you. So it is not bad to make your own stand because you could really surpass every people who were ahead of you, as long you have the confidence and guts to make your own wise decision.

Yes, so we better learn our own efforts because we only know what coin are good to buy if we study it well and know the reasons why we can profit from it. so that we no longer have to rely on other people. Often it is not just the mind that works for us to make choices but also the heart.

If the martketmaker's buywalls and sellwalls are are thinner then the buys and the sells happening in the middle of them it's wash trading happening, probably by a bot.

In the real world that volume would destroy those walls since they don't have any real liquidity. One real market buy or sell would dump or pump the price, this you can see from those huge wicks that have happened with a fraction of the volume happened before that. If there would be liquidity, there would be volume spikes during pumps and dumps.

And every order you put yourself that's not a market buy, just makes the spread thinner and the price action moves more to the middle. You can buy these fake volume services during listing.
Often the trade history buys and sells don't even register to the walls before executed, but when they do they are showing for a nano second.

As I understand you were newbie when you chose these projects, so your mind changed easily but, the choice was correct. Well, will your heart always help you to choose the best project? I think no. Previous choices were good, but you can not always go on like this. Try to research with knowledge and experience. And never worry about losing, it makes you weaker. You're right. No matter what you will be told and no matter what rank and status of this person. You should always rely on yourself. Do as you see fit.

One of my friends listened to his heart despite of my warnings and bought a scam shitcoin back in 2017 and he lost %100 of his initial investment. It is not about listening to something or someone in the end. It is about a bit of luck and your ability to read things. (some may call it doing research) If you don't have both (luck and research), you'll probably end up losing money.

I've fallen for it many times, too. I listened to the opinions of other more influential people, as it seemed to me, and did as they said. That was my biggest mistake. Now I am forever convinced that you need to listen only to yourself.

It's about how you resourceful you are. You must DYOR regardless of what the people are telling you and that's why some investors are asking the others opinion so that they will know if the project they are interested in is good or bad.

And if you are too gullible with most of them, you're really going to struggle deciding. You can take the good suggestions and finally, you're still the one who will have the choice of what you're going to follow.

If you can search for more info about each project you want to promote, you will find which project can succeed in the future. Although that will be too difficult if we say in the future because no one will know what will happen tomorrow, so in this case, I see you are not searching for every information related to the project. You directly follow your friend's suggestion without research on the project he said.

those project may reach success, but it doesnt mean that all projects which you believe success would be success too, it can be just a luck
you are better to do your own research, deep research on project, then you believe it and that's good and logic

Collectric and Ferrum network are good bounties campaign for promoting with have listed on bigger exchange market, but why distribution for bounty participants separated with several phase for ferrum network and giving small amount for bounty participants, with cllectrix have list on bitsdaq but the same problem by distributing with small amount.

Why believe them? Some of them could only letting other people not to join in the project so the bounty budget could reduce since lots of fud is revolving but the truth is the project is legit. Do your own, some high rank here, are doing it to decrease participants. All those who follow them then eventually regret. Amongst the project listed ferrum network is the best and can be a real project with product and platform. Like the team, very responsive about their current updates.

Lesson: Do not be taken by the hype.

Even ICO's, mostly they are being hyped by the social media or even the users here.

Got to get away from those. You need your own research just like you said. You already have the right weapon, you just need to use it.

Ranks are not everything. It does not mean to say that a legendary member here on this forum, for example, is always better than the members, even junior members and newbies. But if your decision is nothing but a sort of a result given by your eeny, meeny, miny, mo, then you better be looking for information coming from other people who are already trusted by many. Basically your friend and you do not know for sure that the project that you are taking part in will succeed / scam. because the success of a project is difficult to predict early on. but I thought it was far better to choose a project based on its own research, and it was proven that I joined the Colletrix project at that time, even though it wasn't big but wasn't scammed.

Whoever you are, your master is all that you take is from the depths of your deepest heart. I've also experienced like you how to choose something nice but my friend said it's not good to follow.

We all have that seniors that make us able to invest here in cryptocurrency as a matter of fact they know more here in cryptocurrency it means were walking into the pat that they made to be able to rich what they already have or to have the same level to them but it doesn't mean that you are doing what they said you must also work with your own knowledge or have a research by your own.

yes I have also experienced things like you. I lost a lot after following the advice of others. it's better to rely on yourself in every decision. and also I have a suggestion in joining a bounty project or investing in crypto besides having to do my own research. we also cannot use emotions or feelings. the important thing is we've tried our best if later the results are bad we must sincerely accept it. because we know that cryptocurrency can provide huge benefits but it can also make us bankrupt overnight.

You have now learnt a lesson of never to rely on anybody to dictate or tell you what to do as far as bounty campaigning is concerned experience is the best teacher, you had firsthand experience now, do your research and never allow other people decision to overrule your own. there are more profitable upcoming bounties that you would promote thus never get discouraged and give up the sky is your limit.

Bounty campaign is like a puzzle IMO, you can guessed it easily although you try to make your own analyst to find more about the project. Sometimes, when I have a leisure times I get used to make an analyst against some bounty campaigns that just appear on the board and also I'll check the project when it has done and see it on cmc or some exchange.

Indeed, I had several times that I thought the project was good and it will be interest by most investors but when bounty even has done I didn't see the project on cmc or some exchange and I tried to check at ANN thread but yeah there are a lot of investor/bounty hunter who complain to the project's developer. And also I often saw the opposite case several time which I mean the project is bad but it has successful to lounch on several exchange.

So, on your case I think you don't have any right to blame your friend just because they were wrong to predict the project. Just blame yourself because you didn't make an analyst to those project.

You don't let others control you. It is good to listen to others but you shouldn't do what they told you to do. You draw your own conclusion from what you've gathered from researching and listening to seniors, that is how you make your move. Do your own research and if it contradicts to what they are saying, then do what you think is right. I've learned this the hard way myself

I was holding a good altcoin 2 years ago but my friend said it will moon high so I hold it till the price got dump so hard. It was a pretty stupid move since I could have made a good profit out of it but thanks to that, I was able to learn. We make mistakes but we learn from it.

I am not trying to defend you friend, but honestly, you would not blame them for making a wrong decision, because even as you have done your own research to bring out these projects is the same way that they probably did their own research too which I must tell you that you may never know how great a project will be until they have been established.

You will be making a very wrong mistake if you are judging these coins according to their own whitepaper because whitepaper would not show anything other than lies and other than what they want us to believe and not what they have in their mind concerning the genuine project itself. Many of them even hire people to write whitepaper and they are very much confidence that it would sell, so you should still check these listed projects of your very well to be sure you are right about it.

No doubt about listening to your heart, to excel in this space (bounty) we need to always pay attention to our hearts. Follow our heart to do the right projects and not promote dead projects. there are so many dead projects out there, infact dead on arrival but most times we fail to see the red flags and ignore the warnings of our hearts until it is too late. We should always learn to trust our hearts.

right, whitepapper is not a good indicator for assessing projects. as you said, whitepapper can be made as good as possible to attract investors. if we can research, I think a roadmap can be an alternative in researching a project. if the project goes according to the roadmap, at least the project is consistent

Not every time you are using your heart, you should have based on your mind when making a decision since it is very important, it is not just by the heart because what if that person or project are really good at making offer and talking promises. But being an intellectual person you should have studied what they say for to be able to prove that they are saying truth not lies. Because in this world we are living not people are good, there are bad guys that can take advantage of you. So you need to be aware of every step and decision you make.

For the bounty list, sometimes it's a good choice, first of all in 2018, I often follow "friends" and end up in bad luck because the project we followed ended up being a scam and it felt like a waste of time you know following a signature campaign in 3 months and not getting anything feels very painful.

Here we are to learn and earn, if the possibility can do the both then why we need to do the learn part alone here buddy. There are many people choose the right bounty and making money.
You may also try the same and it will helpful for you to do something better.

You are absolutely right. Some people think that if a bounty campaign launched by a Legendary member that's means rewards will be huge. But from the bear market to this year, everyone gets that it does not depend on rank, it depends on the project! Zeus was launched by a new copper member, Ferrum was launched by a Member, Colletrix bounty manager was high ranked though! So, don't listen to people, you need the teacher in your life, but in crypto, be your own teacher then you will be making profits continuously!
