Title: Beware of iqoption
Post by: FireBallex on November 12, 2019, 05:47:43 AM
I want to use this opportunity to warn newbies who wants to trade using app like IQOpTION, its available on android and ios too, the fact is somehow iqoption only wants your money no matter how good you are in trading, their trading is fishy and not a real legit trading platform

Your image doesn't tell us anything. Give more details on why "200% gains" is a scam. I know for sure that they have some shady things but your case doesn't tell much.

Move it to scam accusations if you want to accuse them of scamming you.

iqoption is binary trading and all the binary trading are sort of scam. Many new traders think that they are doing real trading on binary option which is exactly not. If you want to do trading, do it on real exchanges like binance , bittrex etc and avoid websites like  iqoption.

If you have bad experience about them or you are being scammed, feel free to create a scam accusation thread here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=83.0 just provide necessary details to support your accusation. I have been seeing this on different social media, like youtube if this is really scam, youtube should make amends for promoting a scam ads. In fact I installed this myself along with etoro but I haven't trade yet.

Do you believe that everything that is promoted on you tube is legit ? The big channels gets a lot of money from companies to promote their business /websites with biased reviews. There are very few you tubers who will give you fair analysis of the sites.
Also note that binary trading is more like a gambling, rather than a proper trading platform. Personally i do not recommend to use iqoption or similar website.

Could you tell us more what happened for you to accuse them for not being legit? Did you try to reach their support?
Or are you trying to withdraw your coin and you can't withdraw it? If yes, I'm sure they won't permit it until you pass your kyc documents as they needed it for verification and pretty sure it's on their ToS.

I'm not on anyone's side but you should clarify your claim and don't accuse impulsively.

It doesn't mean they advertise well they are good and there are so many people who's willing to receive a money for their good feedback and also it's impossible you will get  a truth answer for those advertisement since the real review are those who didn't get payments, Try to search "IQoption Scam and you will see a lot of videos which state that they wreck some of there users.

Can you tell what exactly happened to you? I know that you can find mixed reviews about all these binary trading services, but from your post isn't clear at all. Can you give us some details about your problem? Or if you believe that they scammed you, you should start scam accusation in proper format.

As far as I know(but don't quote me on this, do your due diligence), IQoption is legitimate, it's just that their advertising method is very shady. They advertise that you can make xxx% increase in your money in x days.

Keyword: can

You theoretically can, but it doesn't necessarily mean that you will. Of course you can make big money if you win on your trades, but chances are, you don't. Only a very small minority wins on their trades in a consistent manner, especially knowing that we're talking about leverage trading, which is trading on steroids and that you can lose your money A LOT faster.

What's wrong with that image? are you the owner of that image? the image doesn't tell a lot of things and you should validate and add more proof to your accusation. I don't use that binary app but I see their ads everywhere.

Everyone here is curious with your case.

Its not promoted by channels, its promoted by youtube itself from adwords advertisement so it is supposed to be legit, but as above posts said you are not going to get double your capital in no time, which is like hitting jackpot and same thing also happen once in a million while doing trading on that.

I have a friend that plays extensively with IQOptions. Basically how it works is just you place a call/ put at the current price point and if the price goes in your favor (e.g. you place a call order @ 0.85 and it goes up to anywhere above 0.85 after 60 seconds), you win the amount bet.

Lots were lost as well as gained within an hour when I saw his account balance. He also frequently cashes out to his bank account.

So not a scam, just classified as High Risk.

Since the risk is high in  IQOptions, that's why when people lose they claim it to be scam. Those who are playing should understand the rewards and risks in this and if it suits them, only then they should play. OP also did not mention how he was scammed. If he only lost the money by losing, then this is not a scam.

They called IQOption or other options trading broker scam not only from the lost trading.

Sometimes a few broker option trading makes a manipulation price ended to some player. Other cases like suspended account if we trading together with other people like group or join signal provider went we have a same entry price. The psychology of options trading was too high, that's why i don't really like it went trading an options trade also went we doing a withdrawal the balance not immediately hold by the platform. We can still do a trade went we ask for withdrawl request if we don't have the balance went they already process the withdrawal they will cancel the withdrawal that's why 90% trader loses went doing an options trading.

I think binary trading is so critical for most of the traders, I lost 100$ for the test in their site and I lost my 100$ and leave binary trading, my suggestion for newbies is to avoid this type of trading.

Its a binary option platform, i haven't done it with them but  iqoption seem to have been in the business for too long actually. Trading on spot market is not so different with binary option, you can't just claim scam all because stellar rise up to 200%

If you have bet that stellar is going to rise at a certain time frame and you won because it hit 200% and iqoption didn't pay you, show us your bet tx.

Its unusual for binary option to add an altcoin stellar actually.

When I first saw IQoptions advertising on android apps I was like "what the !@#$ is this shit" yes definitely you can just make money as they say. Because a business model where they give money away makes so much sense. In their silly little video with that god awful drumbeat that tried to sound catchy all the people win. Lol, all their screens are green. I see they don't show you what happens when you don't win.

It isn't even trading its a joke. It's just a game. It is like gambling. You going to lose. I think most people that try lose and then never try again. I can't understand why it is allowed on the play store actually.
What if you connected your credit card to your googleplay account and set it to family and your kid downloads that shit? No thanks. Stay away. No one hands over money sorry but people who use IQoptions need to wake up.
I bet they feel like real traders when they win xP It's basically just coin flip or a crash game like bustabit.

How can you say that Binary trading is critical for traders. For your knowledge, the binary trading is just a gambling and there is nothing in it for the traders. People, specially the newbies had lost lot of money in these type of trading. I think you learnt your lesson and should focus on learning the real trading.
