Guys, let's try to figure out which altcoins can give a huge% growth when the entire cryptocurrency market flies to the moon. I have a friend who bought xem when it cost very very little and earned more than $ 100K on growth, I think that now there will be such coins that our pockets can make rich, you just need to know which projects have a chance, so let's offer each other options :)

I do not know what this project will be. It was easier to make a profit like this before now, but now the situation is different. In the past, potential projects were scarce, and a single project could bring you big profits. Now, besides having a good team and product, there is a need for an extra good money. If you do not have good money, your project will not be listed in exchanges like Binance therefore the majority does not consider the project valuable. Anyway, lots of potential projects, but I do not know which one.

im like ETH as a darn near sure thing, if it goes PoS in 2020 could be a good gainer.  LTC maybe too
at the end of the day a person could probably just buy more BTC tho, as long term its always the best gainer ;)

I suggest you buy tokoin because I am sure that in the future the project has the potential to go up, now the price is still $ 0.08 ++, and then it will enter a better market than a coin and is likely to rise again so that the opportunity must be exploited.

xem is a good altcoin, but I think I'm late to buy. even so but I get some profit, because I haven't bought it since the price dropped to the bottom. but there are still a few more options to wait for the market to rise even higher. there are still xrp, xlm, and doge which also have good opportunities for long-term investment.

Isn't the top 10 altcoins not enough though?

I mean if we're able to see another bull run similar to 2017, I'm sure the top 10 coins will be the first one to really enjoy it because obviously the support is there, it's just because investors are still reluctant to put their cash right now.

But if you are that smart, those top 10 alts are still cheap you can go buy and be a bagholder and hold for the next 2-3 years just like what you friend did early with XEM, (I assumed he just HODL on it).

3 years to hold those who can do that might be able to get whales, especially with a $ 100k investment maybe 3 years will get 200% profit even more.

Thats great. I already made few bucks from NEO.Bought Neo in 2017 when price was 2.5-3$ and after 5 months NEO was boom.

Personally, I am not too focused on big profits, although it is undeniable I also want it. But in fact, I must always be in accordance with the investment management that I make starting from what percentage of profit I have to take and when to sell it. The most important thing is how I can be consistent with it. On the other hand, for coins that can provide large profits I don't know, but usually, pump and dump coins will do that, of course with great risk too.

I think those IEO tokens on binance will have a big growth in the future when the entire crypto are rising. Those are good projects even on this current condition of market those tokens could growth more than 1000% imagine if the whole crypto is up, i'm sure the growth will be so crazy

Those were the days when the coins, almost all of them or the top 100 at least, will sometimes give a very strong pump that a 100% growth is very possible in just a matter of hours. Those days were the early days when there was only a handful of good altcoins and when the private companies and institutions were still very eager to enter into a partnership with popular crypto companies. The world is a lot different now. XEM used to be within the top 10. That is one of my preferred altcoins before.

Your friend might have bought XEM at good price. Maybe we could take advantage of some good coins while they are down at the moment. Long term holding is a basic strategy but sometimes its worth it specially if you have invested in a good project.

I have several altcoins that I hold such as XRP, BNB, LTC and ETH. before choosing the four coins I had done research and from the results of that study I chose four coins. in my opinion the four coins have good technology and unique character. I am optimistic that the four coins will develop in the future the price will increase. but this is only speculation. I also don't know which altcoin can provide big profits in the future.

I will not considered this one, there are many failed project from the ICO  even a good team and good project failed to maintain all thier prices so what else with this one. Ive been seen many good project with more community and investors more of them disappointed after they invest on it .

we can see examples like Pundix or Inmax,
nothing lasts long, if the project only has a concept, then don't believe, it's better to look for a project that already has a real product.

Your friend was so lucky to buy the right coin so he can earn more than $100k. I am sure this time we will have a chance to make the same when the bull market comes. I think xem will have the opportunity to grow again, and the other low coin price will also have the same chance. But you must search for the potential coin so you can expect to make a huge profit later. Right now, xem is at a very low price so you can buy xem again, so when the price increase, you will make the profit like what your friend got before.

I think the altcoin is experiencing a very difficult growth to reach ATH which can make our pockets rich. What because it is not an altcoin season or just an investor now does not choose an altcoin as many scam projects and disappear suddenly. Every altcoin has good growth I have another option to choose altcoin which I think will produce in the future, Doge, TRX, XRP will generate big profits when the market goes to the moon, I am sure with long term investment will make satisfying results like your friend

XRP is one of my best choice because it is cheap.
I remember that XEM was also cheap back then and I have bought a lot of it.
Sadly, I sold it after a month with just a little kick in the market. I got that bad luck when it comes to holding for a long span of time specially with altcoins which have gone bad this year.

Next choice would still be ETH. But it may not be affordable for a lot of us here in the crypto space. I really am suggesting cheaper coins with a good rank.

When talking about being able to provide a large return when the market recovers for the better, not only is the IEO project in binance, the IEO project in other exchanges will also be able to provide large returns, because large exchanges are not only binances, but others also exist.

I am not sure if the market will ever go to so called moon but yes there were many others just like your friend who have invested little amount and got huge return but those days are gone as we have over 3k crypto now and it's really hard to suggest any altcoin but I would suggest to invest in a known underrated altcoins like TRX which are still trailing when it comes to value but have greater chances of booming anytime.

Reaching ATH was indeed so hard to achieve by now, and in choosing altcoins I guess it takes a longer timeline before it becomes profitable. Scam projects cannot be controlled, but can be suppressed if we won't be entertaining their ways of deceiving us. Nobody would be a victim, if we won't let ourselves be their preys.

Maybe TRX (tron) is also a potential, currently the price is still relatively cheap $ 0.018 many products provided by this project. If you look at the history of the ICO, TRX sales price is $ 0.0019 and currently the price reaches $ 0.018 with ATH $ 0.3 which means that the pump is multiplying. Knowing the good projects and having enough money in the pocket will not make the investor upset unless the investor makes his first crypto investment. The fast-growing market is the source of being rich in case of having an altcoin portfolio with promising projects. I prefer to make an investment decision by choosing the small marketcap altcoins.

I'm pretty sure the XEM owned by your friend has quite a large amount. even the highest price of XEM right now is $ 2. If your friend can reach $ 100k using this coin, it looks like the investment is quite large.
unfortunately, for now, it's very difficult to predict coins like this. for altcoin, coins that have potentials like this are ethereum, litecoin, binance coin, BHC, Steller, and Tron. I'm pretty sure, your friend produced it when it was 2017/2018 ago. if the crypto growth potential can be like or more than 2017/2018 in the coming year, I believe that the token that I mentioned has that potential, or even NEM also has the potential to return to provide a large profit.

Hard to tell right away mate. Figuring it out right now won't make a sense if its price wouldn't make changes even when bitcoin starts to bull run. Techinically you could buy something now or if you bothered in which is the most decent then pick among the top 10 or even top 5 alts on the market list so you would be at least relieve with that, and then hodl because sooner market will surely soar maybe in halving, who knows.

No one knows which altcoins can give so much profit when the market is bullish. It doesn't matter to me which altcoin can go higher, the important is that I earn huge profit of it when the bull is coming.

If it is easier as said, many won't hesitate to buy such token. The market now has changed and owing to its nature many coins are dropping in value with some dying off and some platforms shutting down as well. So you can see, predicting a certain token will give a huge return when the market stabilizes is a herculean task as one might end up getting trapped.
So what am trying to point out is, it's hard for anyone to say this token or that token will surge in price when the market starts growing; Moreover early this year it was top coins that were growing as the market was picking up.

Think about ThoreCoin this profits still possible in any new coin. All coin supply will increase in future but until 2021 which coin supply  will increase to maximum supply. Because then coin price control will have coin holders. All good will rise if give continuous update until 2021.

for now it is very difficult to find a project like this. altcoin is no longer profitable to hold long-term, so it's impossible to make big profits this way anymore. so it's better to invest in old coins that already have a lot of demand, than to bet on new coin speculation. maybe a little profit, but this is better than holding a coin that has a high risk.

The answers to this question never change, Op.  Members either suggest the top coins on cmc or hype their shit coins that will never earn you a penny.  But I would say that next year if bitcoin breaks out of its $8500 range and moves upward, there will be a lot of altcoins that can potentially earn you a great profit.  I don't believe you for a minute that you have a friend who made $100k from xem, but if he did I'd like to know how much he initially invested in it.  It was probably $1 million.  lol

Yes, as I've told, the purpose of this thread is good but what I'm worrying about is that there will be a lot of people that will have the opportunity to shill the projects that they are supporting and invested.

This can be a wrong suggestion for others but it might be good for them as well. But base on what I've observed, there were many projects before that were suggested that did nothing good and most of them is a failure.

Do you know the sweet thing about Cryptocurrencies (and one reason why it's so frustrating)? It's the volatility and unpredictability, you could guess all you want, read charts all you want, do research till your eyes almost pops out and you still wouldn't be able to predict 100% which tokens would give the best returns, when the bullrun is on, it's sometimes not the best tokens with the best products that eventually rises the highest in price, sometimes it's just some unknown token that nobody even knows about and has nothing more than an active group and cute whitepaper.

Through seeing the market condition for most altcoins that has declined in the market it is hard to earned huge of amount. Luckily his friend mentioned above really earned on those altcoin he invest. But these days choosing alts to invest even new altcoins cannot guarantee you to earn since some project cannot maintain it's value in the market.

yes xem is good coin but now market conditions is not good yes it gives good profit that time when btc price its on all time high. now i believe in IEO in reputed exchanges like kucoin and binance gives us decent profit if we select good project.In kucoin there is IEO project name is "tokoin" it gives 9x profit and IEO price of 1 TOKO = 0.02 USD.

If the hype and community is a crowd no matter the quality of the tokens, the token or coin price must be high because the demands is high. The media take a big role on cryptocurrency price because they can spread the news about a coin and will affected the coin price

Your friend is very lucky and good at making the right decision. It is indeed necessary to observe and analyze several coins to look for opportunities and take those opportunities to benefit from it. But sometimes also what we expect does not match what is happening, so it is indeed necessary to be more careful in choosing every coin to be invested.

Many recommend choosing the top 10 coins at CMC. When altcoin grows higher automatically popular coins will increase. For example coins such as XLM which already burned half of their supply, this will make the price of XLM even higher when the market grows and the altitude arrives. At least have to have a few 10 large CMC coins to be able to benefit.

I am also quite interested in the recent news of this coin because very few projects accept to burn half of the current supply to ensure the value . In my opinion Stella deserves to be a potential option in the near future and I would consider holding for a long term at this price level as the possibility of XLM reaching $0.3 next year will be very high. There's a lot of potential coins right now, is just that maybe your friend is too lucky enough to have those coins, I think this thread purpose is to make people open their mind again in other coins again. @Shepard777 while the altcoins marked is flooded with many coins, I have always preferred to buy and hodl only reputed altcoins because I know they’ll last for a very long time. In my personal opinion you should buy Litecoins, Ripple and ethereum only as these coins have a proven track record of generating high returns over a period of time.

Honestly I don't think it's worth it go for altcoins in the growing market. You can just go for BTC and fix your profits at some highs. Not a financial advice, just what I would do :)

Theseis a very good one to know investment of Alt-coin duration, and i think, this a right time to invest on alt-coin, which can be BTC or ETH, or at a lower rate of investment, EOS, XRP, Litcoin, Qtum and many more, base on the current price is more profitable in the future.  Hence you can invest on Hydax, HDX token, and the ICO is going live.

Some alts are but it would depend on how huge your portion of BTC already. I would advise to diversify but always put bitcoin as your top notch in choosing altcoins.

Well, if you look at the recent DEX craze we've seen, I think it's a pretty safe option to invest your money in a good solid project working on a DEX. Why? Because most people HATE submitting KYC documents to all the exchanges they trade on. People seem to care more and more about privacy, which makes sense, since we're in crypto for a reason.

Inmax is completely dead project and I think that it was caused by dishonest behavior towards bounty participants, they promised to pay 50 000INX tokens, but they cheated us. After that they made some stupid steps and the result is price drop from 10USD to 0.04USD.  :D

Why not???  We can know about the good coin from market value and potential of the coin that which coin has the ability to give us more profit as according to me best  coin that can give us profit is only Bitcoin as bitcoin is the best coin that has very cheap price and with the passage of time it has the ability to rise, we also can make combination of bitcoin and ETH.

Just because altcoins have lost a lot of their value it doesn't mean they are good buying opportunities now, because they haven't been for nearly two years and we don't know if they will ever recover.

Each dip people see makes them think it's a good buying opportunity, but then the price goes down 20%, then it's yet again a good buying opportunity, but the price goes down another 20%.

Altcoins can lose 20% of their value consistently for years until they become near worthless. I would rather wait for altcoins to break some important resistance levels consistently and make higher local highs.

I do not believe in predictions as it has failed me and I guess same has happened to many people so I believe in self research and investigations. Doing research would show one the best altcoins to invest and have good yield especially when team have products lined up and good active community. Research will help get such result.

You already have an answer there my friend as it will be very hard for you to see such coin again, I am sure that the time your friendly got lucky about that project was probably the time that the hype of altcoins was still high and we still have very much interest of investor in most altcoins, but know now that it is very hard to get the trust of investor again on these coins because they feel lots of projects that we have now are shit project and it will take lots of strength and lot of new idea before investor can be revived again, which I thought that IEO was going to do and talking of IEO, I think that IEO can actually do this for you, when you make investment in projects that are being released under IEO platform on an exchange platform like that of binance.

But, when we watch closely we may easily filter out them. So, I mean to say this types of threads with real life experience and knowledge will be definite asset for all of us.

Your duty is to find them yourself, we have many good altcoins still among scam projects and you are the only one that can hunt for them starting from top 100 altcoins is recommended

Current top coins will not make you what you want, you should look for altcoins that will be in the first place in the future.
As far as I understand from the 100k profit, the friend expects more. The big increase requires big potential but, top coins you mentioned require a long time to increase.

It is very difficult to know the coins that will gain the most value in the next bull season. But i am prefer top20 coins. And so i bought a certain amount of various coins which list in top20 and i keep waiting for the future bull season.

top 20 does have the potential to be invested, but you do not still have to do research for the coins invested in order to find the most potential coins from the top 20. especially looking for coins that have the potential for rapid movement

You need to have a very long patience to earned from this strategy, top 20 coins have the higher chance to rise when the market start to pumped
up. I agree that it will be very difficult to pick which coin that will make a good run since we are still in the bearish season. If you can take your time

Yes, I think the top three are a safe bet and if you're trading on an exchange like ecxx or binance there will be enough liquidity to trade if you want to do that.

The market used to invest can also influence, and the coins you refer do have potential because the level of trust and volume is good enough in the market. only your patience can determine the benefits, especially when holding should be more patient

It is difficult to predict which altcoin is able to provide large profits when the market conditions are not good. But I think there are some pretty good and prospective altcoins like EOS or Litecoin. Besides being traded in large exchangers, both coins have a large community

It not that difficult to know the coins that will gain value if you can do the required indepth research about the market and dont select your coins base on the rank they hold on capital market for it does not guarantee that your investment are safe.
Mind you, centralized coins are among the top 20 you mentioned and altcoin market are highly manipulated.

No one in this community will able to predict the exact altcoin that will increase tremendously and will able to provide us a huge amount of profit. On the other way, we can choose the altcoin that can have a huge potential to increase base on the project that may demand here in the crypto currency community as well as in the market that can be support also by those traders and investors.

I think that it will be difficult to get into projects with superprofits, so buy yourself bitcoin and fix profits every time. So slowly but at least surely you will earn.

I must honestly say if a project is currently difficult to analyze which is a good project. but if it says my coin has several options such as ethereum, litecoin and BNB. it will be very difficult to predict ongoing projects for success in the future.

At the moment I’ve studied a couple of sources and read a bunch of articles with the experience of people who stored altcoins and realized that the best thing at the moment is to buy bitcoin, and when we start to see a lot of cross-shots with low-liquid altcoins, then I’ll probably start to look for what it’s fresh, and now it’s too dangerous because altcoins can find another bottom and we will go into a strong minus.

I would suggest looking for those coins that are strong enough and are oversold at the present moment. Also the good factor is if the coin is pumped periodically, like LTC or DOGE.

I personally believe Nano could be one of them. There was a ton of interest to it back in the peak times and the prices were as high as 34 dollars back in the day (when it was called something else) so I feel like maybe if people still hold their Nano that means when the market goes up there is a high chance it could have a huge percentage by the people and community behind it either buying or promoting and giving it a free marketing.

It is really important for these coins to have hype, not that many people realize the importance of hype but when there is one the coins just skyrocket, there are coins that goes even higher compared to everything else in the bull market and Nano certainly has that possibility of hype and love from the community that backs it.

This is one of the most difficult things to do in this space; that is predicting a coin which will grow in a market like this. Sincerely I have stopped giving reference or paying attention to any prediction of any sort so I don't give myself high hopes and later gets disappointed. You may have to wait until the bull run comes and pick some trending green coins and then sell when it starts to dump holding those coins longer is also risky thing.

Personally, I believe that Ethereum in 2020 will bring all investors a very good profit. Since in all respects the Ethereum coin has a very strong effect on the cryptocurrency market. And the Ethereum coin will give a positive effect to all users.

also value of the coin will matter  . in that case , eth has the highest value among all altcoins so eth has the one that can provide you a better income if ever all altcoin goes to the moon but make sure that you have enough eth to make that happen  .

Probably the shittiest ones. Usually crappy altcoins get a pump in a bull market anyway. They are cheap, they pump anyway, you're not risking a lot of money,they are a throwaway investment in case of a bear market. All these things makes them good so if you invest in ETH or XRP you will be much safer in case of a bear market but you won't profit as much as you would with a shitcoin in a bull market.
The bad side of this is that shitcoin pumps are usually short and they tank anyway so you need to be fast.

Those coins that you are describing are mostly the pump and dump coins. I wouldn't advise any person to track those coins that are gaining huge percentages within the week.

Having fake volume is their way to get more investors and hope that many doesn't buy on this gimmick anymore.

I don't really believe in that, where buying and holding coins for a long time will double our profits. We cannot be certain of the project which could turn out to be a better source of investment considering the nature of the market.
