I just tried using 100% valid credentials and I got an invalid username and password. Guess they disabled 2fa somehow?!? This doesn't smell right. The only reason I did it is because it's a password specifically for this one exchange that is in no way used else where and the balance was in the low 0.00's

Is there really a possibility some of these people are actually going to get some of their money back? Say 500,000 coins are outstanding and they only have 50,000 in a wallet. How do they decide who gets what?
This whole thing is a damn shame. Feel terrible for everyone that lost money.

Has anybody else tried to login and see what happened? I want to understand if it is a hack or not. I am not knowledgeable to know if this is a hack or not.
thanks in advance

Logged in. Balance is correct, https is working, and it doesn't accept incorrect passwords. It is very unlikely this is a hack.

So...

1. You originally have access to view your balances.

2. Mtgox gets taken down.

3. Gox files for bankruptcy.

4. Gox puts up a login page to show you your balances.

So in essence nothing of value was accomplished once again.

Not a surprise. Lol

We had similar weexclaims.weexchange.co pagie where from Ukyo dispersed a little part of stuck BTCs.
Just wondering does that mean that we will again get 6% of total in "just two more weeks"? ;D

works for me too,
I guess the 2nd authintication is disabled because the login only allows you to view the funds and not withdraw/trade :)

It doesn't show my fiat, which was already in queue for withdrawal. :(

Something of value was accomplished.  They are giving everyone false hope....again.  Gox policies exist only to sucker people in and then before we know it, bam bitcoin value goes down when they do not deliver.
Everyone who works for gox that was involved, or could have blown the whistle on them deserves to do hard time in prison, as well as be stripped of every piece of personal property they own to pay the people on their site, but this isn't the movies where the bad guys lose  :'(

does anyone else have a SEPA fiat withdrawal in progress - where the money does not show up online (presumably as it officially left the account into their withdrawal queue) but also has not arrived in the receiving bank account ? How do I tell if it got as far as Poland ?

well, they found my cash on it's way out, cancelled the withdrawal, and put it back in their dungeon... so on the upside they've now got it, and on the downside they've now got it

Hello you guyz

since it's possible to check one balance on MtGox.
Does anyone has transfered deposit on Mt Gox few days before its closure
and when one checked balance no fiat on the account,
but afterwards, it got credited?

Thx, i'm gonna call right away

I am still getting invalid username and password when I try to check my balance.

Is there a way of rectifying it? I am certain the credentials are correct.
