Title: BAN bal3wolf, thief & scammer.
Post by: dovjann on November 18, 2019, 08:39:01 AM
What happened::
I have created a thread that I am looking to buy e-gift cards. He contacted me thru Skype. I have all the chats with him, so if anyone needs I can attach them here. I was naive that I trusted him even though I saw his Trust on this forum, however he claimed his account was banned and auction is not scam lol.. So I have bought from him gift card and once the payment was done - he disappeared. I hope karma will do the job :)

Scams aren't moderated in the forum so it is highly unlikely that he will be banned. although I feel bad about your situation it was your fault.
anyway, hopefully any user who might come across with him and try to engage a trade will not be as gullible as you(sorry for harsh words).
also proof of payment is highly important.

Mate, that user has been red-tagged by three different users already before you had a deal. Check his trust summary here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=trust;u=28325

There is another thread opened today accusing him again of scamming https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5202346.msg53107435#msg53107435

Sorry for your loss mate but as mentioned already, these types of transactions aren't really moderated. Scammers who aren't violating the forum rules can only be red-tagged and flagged. Here is a flag created against bal3wolf https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=trust;u=28325;page=iflags You can support that flag and/or you can create another one.
