When I started to gamble (sport prediction) I’ve started to visit football and boxing matches more often. More often I’ve started to hangout with friends. Must say that thanks to gambling I became mo social person :)

I don't know why, but honestly, I got better after leaving gambling, I'm more focused on other jobs. more able to manage finances, and more respect for money and time.
but when I was still playing gambling, every day I focused on analyzing matches, because I like to gamble on Sportsbet.

I started gambling when I was still young. I do not know if there was a lot that changed in me during that time but I can say now that I am still a good person. My decision making is not impaired. I am living a good life. So I can say that gambling never made me a bad version of myself.

I am the same as what I am. Before and after I involved in gambling nothing changes with me, probably because I know how to manage my self in gambling and also how to control it from turning addiction or something that become worst in our lives. Right now, I still gamble and I know my limitation on it. I can't also leave because that is my habit but I won't play if I dont have extra money to spend. Nevertheless, when it comes to skills and knowledge and I may consider my self that has a betterment, because I know some techniques and strategies in gambling that I never learn before.

I’m the same person with the same personality now as before I started gambling. It only changes you if you have a gambling problem. Only gamble with amounts that you can afford to lose. Never take risks & endanger yourself financially, it’s just not worth it.

Well, I am moderately to gamble and it has happened when I have an amount that ready to gamble and it means it is affordable from my pocket. So far, I am the same person and no one was changed in me. Indeed, that is right. I had more control in my self than my feelings and I don't want to chase money in gambling because I know the fact that it might change your self and it might become a gambling addict. While at early stage you should know those consequences will happen.

as long as it's not addicted I think it will be fine. even when I get the money I don't get better, but at least I can buy something from the win. so personally gambling doesn't change anything in me. but of course, if I can be rich from gambling maybe I will get better because I have lots of money.

I like to gamble when there are matches in sports, so I gamble not to be done every day. I only on weekends and some other matches.
If in comparison it is worse or better because in gambling it cannot be said it works in my opinion so still gambling is fun not for the better.

correct , this is just the matter of mentality. if you do have a gentle mentality.

to accept whatever the outcome , to stake the money that you can really afford to lose and to be discipline like have a playing time limitation , i think you can still remain be a good person . things become worse when you do breaks all the -do's and don'ts- in gambling , for instances you should not get drunk when you do gamble , you should not borrow money to gamble etc.

all of these don'ts list in gambling is crucial to prevent you going mad desperate and depressed. people turn to become a worse person because doing this.

In my owm opinion, i became a worse person since i started playing gambling because there are times that i could not handle my money properly that there are times i have not been able to pay some of my bills and provide all of my basic needs due addiction and losing a huge amount of money, that is why i started to set a limit to myself when playing gambling for me to avoid being greedy and losing a huge amount of money.

I am afraid that this scenario will happen to me too. Always remember when you are in gambling and ask your self, is this amount that I can afford to lose? It will not affect my daily budget if I am going to lose this now? Be responsible at all times, especially if you have a family to feed and don't expect too much profit in gambling because it won't give you a better assurance to get any alternate of a good source in income. Stay what you are from the beginning in knowing to gamble, self-moderated is a must.

I felt these two characters, first I became worse because I made a lot of money, this made me wasteful and could not appreciate money, moreover it seemed like I was getting addicted because I couldn't leave gambling for even a day.

Second, gambling makes me better financially and makes me think more rationally, think critically and be full of challenges in making strategies, this really helps me in thinking and training mentally.

Something in between or simply say ive been not affected by gambling neither of the two. Why? Ive been playing for fun and nothing comes worst when it comes to financial aspect
or with my personality hence ive been enjoying on what im playing without compromising myself on getting addicted.

Its just a matter of sensible gambling where you should know on how to control everything like emotions and funds because these are the primary targets which would pop out
and would lead to addiction.

It actually makes me a better person because it teaches me that risk management is too important in putting your money at stake. Through gambling, I was able to have more control in doing trading as well though the approach is obviously different. Gambling has indeed a negative side such as it triggers greediness that can make a person miserable but at the end of the day, it still depends on a person and if a person has a good control then he'll belong to small percentage of gamblers who are profitable in general.

Gladly I didn't turned into a worse person after I gamble. I have failures in betting many times and I just turned into those experiences and through learning the lessons with others experience so that made me better for controlling myself.

I can't say that if I became better in decision making this time but I'm sure that I didn't became toxic to myself because I can handle. Sadly, for those who can't bear themselves and became worse, they have to see it on their own and accept it first.

Being in gambling is gonna be a sort of learning for me. Not actually it gives a negative impact on our life but also it gives a realization where it change our understanding of gambling. Gambling can't be a thing to put a big deal cause it surely dragging us into worse which is an addiction and that is commonly happening to someone who never controls themselves.

As I've looked at myself now, it actually no change, it is still the same before I've started. It may be because I know how to control my self and stick to what I believe that gambling can do to our life if we engage too much and treat this as an opportunity to earn.

People has different mindset. That's why we can see how they change when doing some gambling. I also experienced this, I know some people who are changing when they do gambling especially when winning, some become generous and kind while some are become extremely cruel, like they start not talking to your or their pride changes, like they are now powerful and rich.
While me, I don't become a bad person, because I can say I'm not that lucky in gambling, I am still humble even doing gambling.

Not sure what you mean, but it doesn't changes my personality, as far as I know. Maybe sometimes I become cranky specially when I loss big, but that's about it. My decision is only clouded in gambling, but when I learn to at least control it everything is fine with me. Of course when you won, you are happy and it will be on display,  ;D (like giving your family a treat or something).

My character wise I haven't changed, before and after getting into gambling I'm the same. I have won big, by that time too from my view I haven't felt proud or self praised. When I lost big, my mind always thinks about it, and this leads to me get frustrated and stay within the room thinking how I gonna get recovered all my loss. Myself haven't changed good or worse, but learned more about life through gambling. Maybe this learning could help me achieve big things in my life.

I guess I become a better person, I learned to control myself and set up time management, gambling is like a trap if you did not learn how to control your appetite to gamble and do time management you can lose everything here, possibly your job and of course your money.

No, I don't feel I am a better person, especially if right now, I am playing gambling. I think I am still a worse person with or without playing gambling. But I realize that after I know to gamble, I can manage my money, so I don't use too big cash for playing gambling. I am not a good decision-maker either because sometimes I still need more time to decide something. But I can control myself in gambling and gladly, I can control myself too in another thing. From gambling, I learn how to control myself, learn how to manage my money, and I think that works well for me.

I really haven't changed much in either way to be completely honest. Most people that know me haven't observed much of a change in my general behavior or decisionmaking at all, though that's probably because I consider myself to be the type of person that gambles in moderation, and I wouldn't call myself exactly addicted to gambling either. I've turned a bit greedy every now and then purely from the money involved in gambling, but I typically don't gamble a large amount of money anyways and I control my losses aggressively, so that's not much of an issue for me nowadays.

Although I know gambling and have gambled, and now I rarely play gambling. But gambling has made me more able to control my emotions and can control my finances. Yeah gambling brings experience for me to choose a way of life, so I feel now I am even better after knowing gambling. and everything is stable, there is nothing bad in the side of my life.

Sounds contradicting  ;D , let's simplify by saying nothing much has changed.

As believe it or not based on popular research that gambling itself designed to 'deceive' in other words .. that's leading to bad things rather than good things most of the times, I've campaigned this matter since long time ago everywhere here in gambling section, well it looks like useless ;D .
People tend to be conscious that they would lose at the end no matter what but still they did play it all the time , what's wrong? There's something wrong in people's brain, that's the logical answer. You're guaranteed to become a worse person in gambling, that's what I can say.

IMO if you think you can make money out of gambling, you will become a worse person. Conversely, if you only think gambling as a form of entertainment, you will become a better person, or to be precise, will have better conditions to work.

There is nothing wrong if you party once in a while, right? Just don't overdo it.

I see myself a little bit on the bad side when gambling, but overall, it doesn't affect my performance in other aspects and the way I treat other people. So, if I were to measure if I became a worse or better person when exposed to gambling, I see, for myself on how I view it (Based from movies with scenes associated to casinos, James Bond etc.), Yes, but not specifically means I am being worse in terms of other people knowing I gamble. As long as I can control my funds not to lose to much, I know I am on the right track.

Well I can say im still the same person just like before I gamble, nothing is change because im not addicted to it. I play using the money that I can afford to lose and I know the consequences if I let myself out of control.

Gambling can change your personality if you're addicted to it or you have no discipline because many things will come up to your mind like how you can recover your losses or how to win continuously.

As long as i am not having a personality disorder i am the same person and even if i have some issues i cannot judge myself, the people surrounding me should tell that and no one said anything about it as i am not an avid gambler, does a few in sports in soccer and tennis and if there is any interesting match that i watch and that is all i do and not obsessed with casino.

During gambling just for fun and not to be a gambling addict in my opinion there is no good or bad side, when I want to gamble I will limit my capital and if I lose I stop playing and if I win it is luck.
Gambling can exercise patience and can control yourself when playing, so in my opinion playing gambling or not, for me it doesn't affect good or bad for me because I'm not an active gambling player, except being a gambling addict will have a bad impact.

I find it hard to buy the latter. It is easier to say that a person who becomes a gambler from being not is a person who somehow becomes worse because he is developing a new vice than saying that a person has become better because he becomes a gambler. Gambling is generally considered as a vice. More often than not, a person will benefit more from staying away from gambling instead of getting into it, except perhaps if by entering gambling he is avoiding other much worse vices or addictions and gambling is being used as a diversionary tactic.

I don’t think I have become a better or worse person after I started gambling but I think I have become a better person in the sense that when I see a gambler behavior I know and I don’t judge him even if he shows addiction.
I think anyone can fall prey of addiction. As for me I am the same person and maybe with a greater self control that I have learned through gambling.

Entirely a matter of individual I guess. I also believe that gambling changes only those people in a negative way who become obsessive with making money out of this activity. As long as you play it for the entertainment purpose only and that too in limits, it is not possible to lose senses and money. If played for fun only, this game becomes boring earlier than many expect. Betting with limited amounts helps in avoiding depression.

It is depending on the person's mindset because they have control over gambling if lose control of gambling then it will be a problem it will make the person worse, so better that we have control over gambling within our limits.

Actually I become a better person as well as a worse person, why? Simply because through the help of gambling I have become a man who has been good on decision making in which I am deciding things careful before I go and I have learned that through the help of gambling in which do not just go and go you must think the best decision in order to succeed. Everyday lives is a gambling it is a matter of fact of winning.

I can say I'm more on the latter, I was worse when I was just starting out in gambling but I overcome it and now playing with cautious and has lot of control, I owed it to my early discipline and when I was not yet gambling, I came to realize that gambling will destroy if you cant control it, so right now I'm gambling comfortably knowing i am in total control of myself and my funds.

In my own personal opinion, gambling didn't change me at all since i started to play at the casino and in online gambling site because i know my limitations when i am playing gambling games such as poker, slots, baccarat and blackjack, and i know to myself that i only gamble for leisure time and entertainment.

To be honest, I didn't change a lot while I started to be a gambler, I'm with the same attitude and a good self control, sometimes, I am just starting to gamble a lot, but I never be addicted to it, I know my limits and I know when I should cash out and leave before it's getting to be worse. I know also, few gamblers that become addicted and their life turn out to be a mess.

I had a problem that I abused and called out "faith" to just gamble, and generally with me, when I was a teenager, society accepted me better, even though there were ugly comments, it was great and I was proud to be among the first in his generation to gamble, it may not sound the best, but nothing was wrong.

I don't really think that gambling changed anything from me.
I just gamble back then to enjoy my time when I am alone and doesn't have anything to do.
So it didn't really changed anything from me I am still the same before and even after I have gamble.
But if you would count the small time that you would feel angry or sad because of losing your money in gambling then I think it could only be the negative effect of it,
But it rarely happens to me only if someone annoyed me after losing a huge money from gambling.
