Title: Rewinding Blocks Post by: LowWater on November 18, 2019, 04:24:18 PM After syncing Bitcoin core on a perfectly maintained UTD Desktop with no moving parts, I shut down the desktop for an hr or so. I ran the executable program for Bitcoin Core v0.18.1 and have waited patiently for twelve hrs as v0.18.1 has been "Rewinding blocks . . ."; I don't know if I should continue to be patient or attempt to mitigate a problem, e.g. Port 8333 being firewalled or my Malwarebytes Premium interfering with Bitcoin Core's installation.

You can probably just kill and restart Bitcoin Core, it shouldn't corrupt anything. |
