It doesn't looks like a scam to me (at least not a blatantly one), but I have never heard of it.

What are you looking for in this exchange that others already don't have?

edit: his post history. :D

With all the trustworthy and popular exchanges around, why would you go for a less popular exchange like this?
This is my first time hearing about them and I am not even seeing any honest reviewer talk about it online. If i were you, i would avoid it.

It's not just an "exchange", it's a derivatives platform. Looks fairly well organized, I like the non custodial account feature.

No need for this to be posted in Scam Accusations unless you're making one.

OP does "odd jobs" so one of those must have been "post a thinly veiled ad but make sure you don't read the rules or the stickies".

Haha, it crossed my mind too.

What I know is that the Bbod.io exchange is in the development stage so you don't always trust or use the exchange, and Bbod.io also still sells tokens and launches a bounty campaign so I'm still monitoring the progress.

Just surface with it, yesterday seems to be a new project that offers a highly delicate non custodial exchange platform. They also offer free trading fee (I just dont know until when it will be free) which some of exchange nowadays offers. We can see the full legality on a later date as the team progress on their project though the working product is LIVE now https://bbod.io/platform (https://bbod.io/platform). They are having their sales with 60% discount ending on Dec 9, 2019. well let's just wait for the result of their crowdfunding cause they've mentioned that on 10th will be the first BBD listing.

All in all, I can sense any suspicious about them, the team also is very open. Will check again on a later date whether an accusation couls bs raised here or not.

i wear the BBOD signature since today.
for me it doesn't look like scam at all and so i decided to do so. can you tell us who contacted you or how? maybe it was just an attempt of a bounty user to generate advertising revenue via ref-links? :-X

obviously a new way of advertising. Newbie asking advice and free review.
Another topic from Newbie which is not sure is it safe to use Bdod exchange: Is BBOD a good trading platform? Review (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5202751.0)

Pretty old actually, I'm surprised I fell for it, must have been in a magnanimous mood.

First thought after reading "zero trading fees" is how the company will make profits from the platform. I extracted this text about Fees from the whitepaper :
Quote
Zero-fee leveraged trading
BBOD will be the first Zero-Fee Crypto Futures trading venue. There will be no transaction fees (zero) on the BBD-settled futures markets (eg. BTC/BBD or ETH/BBD perpetual contract). Traders need to use BBD token as a collateral. Balances and PnL is denominated in BBD. The price of e.g. BBD/TUSD will be fixed during the day and set as the  close price of the previous day. During the trading session, BTC/BBD index will be the same as the BTC/TUSD index.
I can't understand what it means to use BBD token as a collateral instead of imposing fees.

Scrolling the whitepaper, there is a long explanation with stastics tables that compared fees in Bbd platform with fees in some other major platforms.
The company has also a green Charity program in form of donation cut from the fees :
Quote
We decided to donate up to 15% of our all trading fees to selected foundations, and you, as a BBOD trader will automatically participate in the contribution just by trading on our platform.

I am really interested to understand about this "first kind" trading platform, but it's really sad how it is promoted by newbie accounts . 90% of replies in their ANN thread are made by new accounts .

There is no such thing as no cost, so the absence of traditional fees means that revenue must be made in some other way. Enter the token.

Experience has taught me to be wary of any project which headlines charitable deeds.

Yes, carrying their signature too... Also instances of what they may think as clever "guerilla marketing" which, in fact, are traditional scammer methods of exposure.
They may have a good product, but there are a number of things about it which I'm not happy with.
DYOR.

Another way of side advertising by indirectly asking out the community but totally just want for people to go to the site. Not bad actually!  8)

Zero-Fee Crypto Trading
$0.00 trading fee. Make unlimited commission-free trades on perpetual futures contracts settled in BBD.Buy BBD tokens with a 60% discount and enjoy zero commission fees from December 10th, 2019.

This kind of promotion wont be enough though.

You have hundreds of exchange site options already, why would you choose a particular exchange that is highly unknown and therefore does not have a good volume and volatility? Is there any particular benefit one can get in choosing this one over a popular exchange which has a good volume, many traded coins, have a tested security system, and so on? There is only one reason for asking, to promote it indirectly.
