It's been almost a month now since I started work on this illustration and have put over 100 hours into it. I won't describe it from the get-go - I'll leave it to you to figure it out and where all the details are and what they mean. I just watched an old movie, called American Pop from like 1980 - This is EXACTLY what your background images reminded me of, which is fucking awesome, because I love that movie, and the art/comics etc. ;D

Wonder how well it would scale down though.

I just watched an old movie, called American Pop from like 1980 - This is EXACTLY what your background images reminded me of, which is fucking awesome, because I love that movie, and the art/comics etc. ;D I can see the connection, though I never saw the movie. I also love some of the aesthetics of that era, it must show in this illustration! Thinking of how I'd want to hang this on my wall or have as a collectible.. my favorite choice would be as a Signature Series Kialara. Wonder how well it would scale down though. Hard to say, maybe not the entire thing but portions of it. It'd definitely worth playing around with a bit.
