Post by: RipSwear on November 21, 2019, 07:30:27 PM
Bitcoin Client Software and Version Number: BFGMiner 5.5.0
Operating System: Windows 10 64-bit
System Hardware Specs: NVIDIA GTX 1660ti
Description of Problem: No devices are found.

BFGMiner is not detecting my gpu.
I dont know if this is a configuration issue, a driver issue, or if im just not pointing to a proper path where the gpu is located.

The application was initialized and built with --Scrypt enabled.
The gpu is being detected in device manager and in NVIDIA control panel.
WinUSB Drivers, Latest NVIDIA Drivers are installed

Code:
bfgminer -D -d -L --scrypt -o stratum+tcp://us2.litecoinpool.org:3333 -u RipSwear.1 -p 1

NO DEVICES FOUND

Im not sure how to properly set the path to the gpu on windows using --scan.

For Educational purposes and would appreciate any help.

As far that i know if you want to mine scrypt algo you should use the cgminer version 3.7.2 !

But its a waste of time if you want to mine scrypt with GPU because the algo is dominated by asics !

Dont know if BFGMiner 5.5.0 support scrypt algo for GPUs.

latest gpus with old scrypt miners may not be compatible
miners which do support scrypt mining in gpus are obsolote now and it will not work well with the latest gen of gpus
i will suggest mining nicehash and renting scrypt hash from there if you want to mine something
