Woww ... today Bitcointalk is a decade old, and has created an amazing community. Happy birthday to Bitcointalk !.

I would have to say the coolest thing about this decade is how relevant this forum still is. For many it's the first place they land to learn about BTC, whether it be mining buying or hell even to learn about ALTS. Then when you look back and see all the big names that are out there now and where they started from years ago. There are accounts here from Bitmain, Ver, Charlie Lee (still active), some have a better reputation than others. Then you have folks that never left, I look at Kano, Ck in the mining sections.

Personally I'm just glad that there have been times I've been able to leave my mark on the forum and that's it's been a positive. Looking forward to sticking around for years to come.

Yeah, it is Bitcointalk's birthday today, 22nd of November! Happy birthday Bitcointalk!

I have been here for quite a while already. Much has changed, but at the same time Bitcointalk is the same old Bitcointalk. Its face has remained the same, for one. But it must have been a lot different several years ago especially when Bitcointalk was very young. Discussions must have been more focused on Bitcoin's technical aspects. Today, discussions abound on different topics; altcoins, gambling, politics, and so on.

I wish this forum many more birthdays to come!  :D

I am all happy to know that today is the exact date for the 10th year of Bitcointalk's existence. Now, I am really wondering is there an online-streamed party for the forum held somewhere? That would be fun watching maybe some of the known leaders of this one and only forum for Bitcoin which Satoshi Nakamoto founded. Personally, I am thanking this great forum for the education that I continually received here and that camaraderie not existing anywhere but here. Let's continue on sharing and helping each other using this amazing platform.

It is indeed amazing to see that the forum keeps on improving year by year, we're all grateful on how it changed our life into something better. It helps us to know the different opportunities that we can grab in order to earn huge profit, the things that we need to avoid when investing/trading, what can we do to avoid getting scammed and etc. It has been part of our life because it makes us what we are today, it enlightened us and make us realized a lot of things.

Did you just find out today that the BitCointalk forum is having a birthday? and now you can also take part in an art contest organized by the forum admin as a token of thanks to us and if for example the art you make is better and more interesting you might also be able to get prizes in the form of bitcoin that are shared by forum admins.

It's already been 10 years since they started this forum, I've been here since 2016 and that's almost 4 happy years with this forum.
Bitcointalk really helped me personally so I'm very thankful to this forum. More power and long life bitcointalk peeps!

What I applaud about bitcointalk is that even after 10 years, a lot of changes, drama and password leaks, we remain to be standing and relevant. The forum remains to be the go-to place for entities and fresh brands to advertise, made evident by the various signature campaigns still running and popping every now and then. Of not for Satoshi and his vision and opus, we may not have seen some of the best discussions in this forum and discuss about bitcoin.

It's one of the best forums/websites around, to be honest... It's a forum that has actually changed lives and not like others that take away time/money from users while give a little. I honestly feel so grateful for the forum and to the great, patient, and passionate minds who have keep things running despite the challenges they face. Every time spent here is worth.

No, because we see the future in cryptocurrency, the way it shows how money could be possible available anywhere in the world, and it opens up the opportunity for us to learn new things other than gaming, that is trading, bounty hunting, freelancing, and gambling. Though, if gaming implements earning cryptocurrency, then we might also spend time gaming, at the same time earning crypto. Let's go back to the topic, for me, this forum helps me to be part of a community where I can share and learn stuffs and be inspired by those legendary members here. I've learned how to respect anyone and to correct them in a proper manner. I know that I can contribute to the knowledge we can get here, and I know I am learning. It's been 4 years since I have been a member of this forum and I know of the struggle in starting your account right now but the very knowledge and information that we are getting here is pretty much needed already in investing, trading and even information about gambling as well, In my opinion, I think with this forum This is the way Satoshi wants to talk to us and to spread the word about Bitcoin and give opportunity not only to miners but certain individuals that are new to cryptocurrency and Bitcoin as well, So Happy Birthday Bitcointalk!!!

He missed a big even of this year, well I’m referring to the contest but its ok. We have to celebrate this milestone and its good that we all part of this. Happy to know our forum has completed its successful ten years. It is not that easy to be successful starting from the scratch and getting such a large userbase. In this time period lot and lots of forum has come into existence and has gone out of usage. Our forum has a big contribution to the growth of bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies as it is the only medium through which promotions were done from the beginning.

Already as a part of celebrating the tenth anniversary, our forum has got the art contest which is getting over by today. We can get to know the creative art that is to get the art contest prize.

I hope that the forum will always exist, like Bitcoin. Bitcointalk is a wonderful place, the beginning of which began the history of the most famous and valuable cryptocurrency and its creator. Happy Birthday!  8)

True, this forum changed so many lives. It gives an opportunity for people who have access to the internet. It teaches about cryptocurrency and blockchain technology, so much to learn here.

The web name already tells what it is all about.

I wanna congratulate all participants in the forum for 10th anniversary of Bitcointalk! I'm glad that I'm exactly here and Bitcoin is still alive.

I still can't imagine that Bitcointalk has gone this far. It has been through a lot for ten years and it even changed the lives of many participants here. Most of us have learned everything in trading and investing in this forum. Bitcointalk also played a vital role in the development of altcoins through promotions here. It was easy for most projects to attract great investors on this forum through signature campaigns. I'm sure that good things are yet to come. It's just another beginning for most of us and Bitcointalk.

Satoshi is a great genius well I have a hunch that he is not just one person it could be a group of people or an institution however a big 10years anniversary to everyone in the forum

I was a professional Bitcoin miner during the first years of this forum. At that time, it was difficult to start mining, I didn't know how to start, here I was helped and I helped others. Although I am now almost no longer involved in bitcoin mining, the time spent with this forum is meaningful. Congratulations, 10-year-old bitcointalk forum!

Oh lol, bitcoin is getting old. Happy birthday to the huge bitcoin forum and hope that bitcoin will stay for a long time in the future so we could use it till we die. Bitcoin talk forum is the forum for bitcoin courses and so long as bitcoin exist bitcoin talk forum will also exist.
I don't see the forum going anywhere but rather more people will get onboard

Its in wikipedia, not all forums are in wikipedia though so this forum a part of great history of revolutionary software. Good to be part of this forum for quite awhile. Happy 10TH anniversary Bitcointalk.org. There are several crypto forums competing this one but there is nothing like bitcointalk were the satoshi took part on the discussions.

I think also a lot of the early ones were really really nice, real and genuine people. I still see many of them around and I'm really glad to say I've actually made friends here, as well as met some in real life.

It's a small part of my life, but a mainstay and an important one.

I haven't been a member of bitcointalk for all that long, but I'm glad I am and I'm very happy the forum exists.  It would be extremely hard to form and maintain a community based on a form of magic internet money if there wasn't a site where people could gather and exchange ideas.

The other thing I'm grateful for is that there is a *lot* of freedom here in terms of what members can write.  I have seen cries of 'censorship!!' before, but there really isn't a lot of that going on.  Bitcointalk wouldn't be half as attractive to a lot of members if controversial ideas were stifled or even foul language.  The moderators have a tough job to begin with, but they don't overdo it when it comes to deleting posts.  Mostly what they delete are very low value ones.

So happy anniversary, bitcointalk!  Glad to be here.

It has been a great 10 years for bitcointalk. I may not be a part of this forum from the very beginning, I am really glad that I have been a part of this. I've learned a lot especially when I'm still starting at cryptocurrency, thanks to this forum.  As well as discovering new things... I hope for more years to come for bitcointalk and more members to come too.

What a shame that something started with the idea of FREEDOM, has turned into this.   Censorship here in this forum is rampant !!!  Any opinion that goes against the narrative of those wanting to pump up the price of Bitcoin is deleted, moved, locked, or otherwise killed.    Sure isolated posts that may detract from the price of Bitcoin are tolerated as long as they are reply's in a positive thread...  So some dissent is tolerated as long as it does not get to much attention.

THE MOMENT I POST A TOPIC THAT gains a lot of views and responses, it is KILLED using a number of various ways.

Even greedy, corrupt Wall Street allows the risks of investments to be published.   The Bitcoin forum is more corrupt and censured than the worst of wall street, and governments....  I have never been so heavily censored until I joined and started posting in Bitcointalk.org    Satoshi would be very disappointed about this.  But most people are greedy, and would never let something like freedom or the truth get in the way of their plans of getting rich by pumping the price of bitcoin.

YOU CAN NOT HAVE FREEDOM WITHOUT FREE SPEECH....    If the people you are investing with are censoring, and preventing you from getting information they do not like, you should RUN AWAY.   Honest money and investments is not afraid of free speech and truth.

I've been here quite a while now and I'm not aware that it was Satoshi himself who started this. Anyways, cheers for getting this long. It's gone a long way since the first time I've come across the forums. And a lot has happened already. Happy to say that I've learned a big chuck of what I know now from the discussions here about Bitcoins and Alts. Hopefully we get many more years from bitcointalk :)

We all know we learned a lot here so this forum is like our bitcoin wikipedia.
It is not just about bitcoin but also how to be a good trader and even learning about economics.

It is all here. Even being a human being or a strong and a wise man.
This forum made me something which I am not before and I love it.

if satoshi created this forum this forum should be dead and no longer active like other project sites if the owner dies usually the site will die too, but this isn't dead and it's been 10 years, I still ask if this forum was entrusted by Theymos and others, I'm sure they can still communicate with Satoshi right now, so I'm a little doubtful about this question?

I think most of us are thankful that we found this forum and it helps us a lot to understand crypto currency.
I think where ever Satoshi is right now he/she or they are proud of what he have created both BTC and this forum.

Thanks and I have been part of the knowledge that has shaped me to better understand bitcoin and altcoin and this is because of our forum. Thanks to the forum and its wonderful invention by Satoshi Nakamoto because of this my life has changed and now have financial freedom, time freedom in my life.

I am a witness to over a million users of the forum and if I am not mistaken it will happened in 2018. Now I just wish the forum would last longer and more and more new people would like to discover bitcoin through bitcointalk.
