Title: How much can bitcoin cost in Future.
Post by: Paglamon on November 23, 2019, 04:12:27 AM
Bitcoin has come a long way in just 10 short years. Despite the bitcoin price struggling to regain its highs this year, the long-term trend is hard to ignore.

The bitcoin price is up a ridiculous 10.6 million percent since CoinDesk began tracking it back in July 2010 — rising from 0.06 cents to $6,421 over that time. 10th anniversary of Satoshi Nakamoto’s release of the bitcoin whitepaper — leading many to look ahead to what the next 10 years will bring. Bitcoin has dominated investor interest over the last ten years, but that could be very different in the coming decade.

It’s only in the last five or so years that bitcoin has had any major competitors. Ethereum, the world’s second largest cryptocurrency by market capitalization, was first conceived in 2013.
“I believe that bitcoin’s influence and dominance of the cryptocurrency sector will drastically reduce in its second decade,” said Nigel Green, founder and CEO of deVere Group, a financial advisory group.

“This is because as mass adoption of cryptocurrency grows, more and more digital assets will be launched – by organizations in both the private and the public sectors. This will increase competition for bitcoin and dent its market share.”
Green expects the bitcoin and wider cryptocurrency market will expand by “at least” 5,000% in the next 10 years — meaning it could be worth $20 trillion, up from $400 billion today.
Now bitcoin price 7282$

Well, everything we say is just speculation but I do believe if the adoption of cryptocurrencies increase in time then we'll surely see a really good boost to the price.
Majority of people see BTC as an investment and not as a cryptocurrency to use for a daily purpose which is a plus point as it leaves a lot of BTC out of the circulation.
I think $25000 a coin is possible by the end of 2020 or the start of 2021.

if the adoption of bitcoin increases I am also certain that the value of bitcoin will continue to grow, because market needs and limited numbers make the price increase because it follows the market's needs. maybe this is just speculation, because so far I have not seen a surge in adoption of bitcoin highly, but it could have happened if the development of cryptocurrency also jumped

Personally, I think Bitcoin is nearing it's peak. With many altcoins (although most are shitcoins) entering the market, there's a possibility that one of them would revolutionize the cryptocurrency game. Bitcoin's limitations are quite significant as time passes by, and some altcoins are already making steps to provide alternatives to such limitations. However, there are still a lot that bitcoin would go through, it's just that the future years might not be as good as the old ones.

what Nigel Green said can not be ignored, adoption of Bitcoin will certainly be reduced if the cryptocurrency competition gets tougher,
This competition arises because of the many private or non-private companies that launch new coins.
but it does not rule out the possibility that BTC will still be number one due to its scarcity and also the enormous public trust in BTC.

Don't get fooled into thinking that bitcoin will cost 50 or 100K USD after X amount of year. This is BS
The bitcoin price will probably stay around the 5K-12K USD area in the long term.

I have a strong faith that cryptocurrency is here to stay and will definitely be defining the kind of future we will have especially in the world of finance, money and banking. Bitcoin has been the dominant cryptocurrency not because it is perfect (far from that) but because it is the most popular, the most recognized and maybe the most utilized (except for stablecoins, I guess). Now, we should not be afraid of competitions because these alternative coins are actually partners of Bitcoin especially in the world of cryptocurrency trading. Until such time that there is no coin that can replace Bitcoin on its throne as the King, we should not be concerned much with perceived competitors. Definitely, there will be new competition from time to time and this is just a natural development in the open market but if we have to base on the past many of these new platforms will just die on the road, not being able to sustain the sizzle they created.

Bitcoin has grown so much just because people used it as an investment and not as a currency. Satoshi created bitcoin to be used as a currency.
The first decade of bitcoin was really amazing. Seeing bitcoin grow from $0 to $7000 despite all the dumps and negative promotion is truly remarkable but I wish it would have grown more naturally i.e, by using it as a currency. If it were so then bitcoin would have been more stable today and have been at a natural price rather than a manipulated price.

There is so much talks already about future price of BTC on this forum. In my opinion BTC adoption will be good for alt coins also to be adopted in main financial system. There are rear chances that any alt coin will outclass BTC.

It's anybody's guess. Even now we're seeing a lot of people putting in their own predictions. Some seem very gloomy about bitcoin's future, while other seem overly confident that it'll make them rich if they held a significant amount. I think this is one thing that we can't answer for sure. It could go upwards like the optimists perceive or it could go the other way around. I'd like to be pretty conservative with my expectations.

As noted recently. The prices of bitcoin can sometimes defy the economics of supply and demand. It started as a wave of a very promising crypto currency, which had promising returns for those who traded it. However, recent events as seen in Financial papers (https://loydsfreelancewriters.com/) or Economics essays (https://loydsfreelancewriters.com/), the value of bitcoin has become quite unpredictable and it is not possible to envisage its future worth.

Looking back how much bitcoin has gone up in the last 10 years it is crazy, the op said that it has risen from 0.06 to 7k and if in 10 more years we have the same percentage literally the skies are the limit, and the thing is anything could happen it never stops to surprise us , back 2017 it gone from 6k to almost 20k in less than 3 months and there you could see the real potential of it as an investments, and i am sure that in the next few years we will see some good things for bitcoin and the crypto in general as it is a growing field that is attracting more and more people everyday.

definitely not, Bitcoin is the worlds most top cryptocurrency in the market in terms of investment. But maybe in the other areas such as market volume, bitcoin might not be the top, but most of the time, our criteria for the best crypto depends on the market price of crypto in the market, and investment crypto ranks top on it. But if we clearly understand the true meaning of market value, then we can have the best crypto not categorized by market price only. But with security, efficiency, transaction speed, price, stability, and market volume.

It is only speculated that the price of bitcoin will continue to soar next year, in my opinion the 5K-12K USD bitcoin price is standard on the market but in the long run bitcoin will exceed the limit even I predict $ 20000 in 2020 and beyond.

According to the "prophets", they said that Bitcoin can reach more than a million-dollar in the future but those "anti-prophets" stated that Bitcoin gonna burst just like bubbles and became worthless but I think we cannot tell what will be the cost of Bitcoin in the future.  Though considering that Bitcoin can stand the test of time and will be widely accepted then I believe it will be way higher than it is now due to the supply and demand concept, how much would it be.. only time can tell.

Nigel's correct but the growth will also give an implication on how bad it looks if most of the sectors will have their own cryptocurrencies. At the end of it, the solution would always rely to depend on a single cryptocurrency which is adopted and accepted by most.

And that would be bitcoin. It will stand firm despite of the number of its competitors. Nobody holds and controls the future of bitcoin but as satoshi's quote says it can be huge volume or no volume. Having huge volume, expect the skyrocketing and vice versa for no volume.

Well, I think bitcoin can grow or even passed its current all time high. But the main key here is the mass adoption. As we see, Bitcoin declined because of the fact that many countries are against the adoption of this technological breakthrough especially the largest cryptocurrency adopter, China. Bitcoin began to drop. If China and other countries began adopting bitcoin, for sure it will rise even more. I expect it to reach roughly $200,000. I'm no expert. This is just my prediction.

That's good news for the other top coins in the market, Bitcoin dominance is very high that some other coins with good potential are barely surviving in the market share.

One good reason why investors should not put all their eggs in one basket, the market will be very healthy if there are other coins in the market that can share a big slice of the market

The price of bitcoin depends on us, because of our continued support for bitcoin and of course sharing our knowledge with our friends and relatives.

Big companies and small stores will also have big participation so that people can recognize and accept bitcoin. And especially the government because they are enforcing the law to make our country better.

I think once this is fulfilled and happend I'm sure the price of bitcoin will rise we will see our speculations come true.

Let me just say that it does not depend on us, and that we do not know exactly what the price of bitcoin will be.
We can only talk and make conclusions, which are not precise and probably not true, but beyond that I am saying that bitcoin is declining in the future, I honestly do not see any progress lately, quite the opposite, and therefore I think that bitcoin is falling at $ 5,000 minimum.

As long as the community pushes for the acceptance of cryptocurrency in the world, and the improvement of adoption, I think it is going to be a good thing for the price. And also, the technologies behind each cryptocurrency will also improve as well. We must continue to support it even though we are having ups and downs.

The true of value of bitcoin can not be easily predicted or analyzed due to the decentralized nature of its network and system.  The market value of bitcoin is all the time determined by the demand and supply rate of it in the market at a particular moment in time.  Last year by this time, bitcoin was worth less than $7k and as at January 2019, it was worth around $3k. This tells you that the market value of bitcoin is very hard to predict in a particular moment in time..

Bitcoin's future could rise even higher if Bitcoin surpassed $ 20,000.  Currently, new money has not poured into the market and especially Bitcoin.  People have had experience compared to 2017. they have been more careful in their buying and selling decisions.  I think that the justification of Bitcoin is in the accumulation zone, very suitable for buying.

I also do believe that we the community has an impact on making a price of Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies. Government could also a big impact in this industry, legalization or enforcing law against it are few example. Though Bitcoin cannot directly manipulate by someone but massive operation like prohibition could still be an impact like what happended on China where exchanges have been banned back in the day.

Damn this is a great figure, people are so positive and so right on the price not only by one expert but everyone who is analyzing it's potential, I have no doubt on it's potential, and I'm glad and excited that I have been reading all these kinds of stuff.

Cryptocurrency is increasingly popular, one of the signs is that many altcoins make cryptocurrency more colorful, with various innovations that are predicted to solve current problems. This diversity forms a more complex ecosystem, with real functions, wide adoption, making cryptocurrency closer to everyday life. Although cryptocurrency, especially bitcoin, is more effective for investment and trading commodities than as a means of payment, it is a challenge for developers to realize that effectiveness by making altcoin that can be the answer to the desires of those who want it. Until that happens, the price of bitcoin must have gone up again, it can't be missed in the long run.

Basically $1 or the max bought value ::)

What determines it is inflaction which is made by investors, buyers, sellers, us.

If you ask me on the current date / time and state. I would go for $20k on next year if more countries / companies decide to invest in it thus due to upcoming halving.

If a sudden sink happens, well i do believe it will be costing around $5k as normaly would (based on history, $5k was the most stable value so far).

Now there are two sides to this question. One is the optimistic side according to which we can see much greater heights in the days to come. These heights are really unimaginable thinking of such a marvelous increase shown by Bitcoin in such short span of time. But obviously it came in the time of technology when things are pretty easy to travel around the world unlike past when it took years for technology to travel from a city to another. Even though if we are seeing mass adoption as goal we have a lot of way to go ahead.

The other approach is the pessimist approach which say Bitcoin is just like another comet which would shine for sometime but then would be submerged in the darkness of Sky. Even though I think it's pretty obvious for people to think that this is impossible but just one vulnerability in the whole protocol is enough for everyone to drop their whole stock of bitcoin.

It's really hard to predict so far ahead. In 10 years we could have flying cars or be able to levitate using antigrav technology. Would you say 10 years ago that Musk will launch a car into space or that countries will start talking about getting rid of paper money? Probably not.

If Bitcoin rises exponentially it could reach a million dollars in 10 years. I think that it would be a great achievement if we went to 100 thousand at any point in that period even if it's only for a few days. It would also be a great achievement if the price became stable at some point like at 20 or 30 thousand but due to its nature it's more probable that it will go to a million for a day and fall down than stabilize at 20 thousand.

Bitcoin price is uncertain and we couldn't predict how much would it be in the future.
I think the current event has proved it already Bitcoin could pump up rapidly just like what happened in 2017 and it could also drop down insanely just like what happened in 2018,
And in the past couple of months it also shown us that we couldn't tell how would the market moves, So predicting the price after 10 years is so hard and I think no one could get it right.

There is no need to tell how much will be the price of Bitcoin in the future because none of us know what could happen to the future. I myself still doubt that what if all of the government in the world works together to stop using Bitcoin? Though it is just a wild what ifs but I'm still afraid if it would happen. Though for sure the price of Bitcoin in the future is tremendously expensive if you could compare the price today. Say, 10 years from now, maybe 1 BTC would be equivalent to the lambo as what people's been saying during bull run. Who knows?

The expert analysis says that the predicted price of Bitcoin can reach 20,000-30,000 USD after Halving. The news of bitcoin and blockchain technology that began to be widely adopted could have influenced the price in the future. No doubt many people have begun to take advantage of Blockchain technology and the advantages of Bitcoin called digital currency. Legalization in some countries appears about Bitcoin that can be used for buying something in an online shop. just wait and see for further developments.

yes its uncertain but its not bad to predict just by basing on the adoption of bitcoin  . we can see that btc is still spreading like a virus and with that , people expect that the market cap of btc will grow along with its value .

I think the current event has proved it already Bitcoin could pump up rapidly just like what happened in 2017 and it could also drop down insanely just like what happened in 2018,
current event these days are so bad that it leads to the dump of the price of bitcoin  so i dont think that 2017's price can be repeated but the 2018 dip still does happen  .

And in the past couple of months it also shown us that we couldn't tell how would the market moves, So predicting the price after 10 years is so hard and I think no one could get it right.
its ok if your prediction fails because there is no right or wrong with it but predicting from time to time can give us a visualization so that we can prepare stuffs in advance  .

With this condition, i think bitcoin price in future will decide by market. Because maybe we will see some people still optimistic especially if because of halving. And the others will blame, or maybe make the condition worse. Both of it can really affect in market for now so no speculation for now from me. Or maybe at least i just wait on halving and don't think on anything else.

Yes, would be very different and highly unpredictable as no one could expect what will happen in people's mindset like who are all going to adopt bitcoin and how much they are going to invest and more importantly how many bitcoins they are going to put in their cold storage. I believe the long term holders and rate of adoption of bitcoin are the key players who are going to decide where bitcoin markets will be trading in upcoming future. I am sure there could be no exact technical tools will be available to analyze these key players hence we cannot expect exact speculations.

Few bitcoin celebrities speculate about one million dollar value for one bitcoin in both short term and long term. I guess they will turn right over the time. I believe in next ten years bitcoin most probably trading in million dollars like one bitcoin may value in one million or 10 million or 20 million, yes everything will be possible.

Considering the current supply and the possible supply it would still release in the market, I'm pretty sure that the market is already reaching it's limits in terms of jumps. There are 2 possible results in this imo, one of which is BTC, becoming a coin rarer and rarer because of the halvings, would boom up with each halving since the coins released in the public are now getting smaller or smaller. The other would be BTC would start stabilizing its price because of the reduced number of supply being released. The market, now close to being saturated with every halving, is now letting BTC takes its place as a possible exchange for fiat currency. I'm more positive to the latter for now, but hey, you never know.

The growth in the price of bitcoin in the future is subject to some regulations and bans imposed on it by some countries eg the recent clamp down on some exchanges in china had really affected the price to a downtrend, this and many more are likely going to be imposed in the future by countries unfriendly cryptos, however all these bottleneck wouldn't deter the price cost of it because as its popularity soar a lot of investors will invest in it and bearing in mind that the more the hodlers the scarce it becomes thus increasing its value as per its price.

A competition is good and not just because of money but also to see which is the best.
They have created different coin in different features and services but yet BTC is still main crypto of all to exchange other tokens.

Let us say someone made an ICO. The offering will need to provide a payment system. Most of them will have a bitcoin address to send to in exchange for the ICO token.
So, can bitcoin really be pinned down? I guess that answers it all.

Investors won't lose hope as long as bitcoin's popularity remains constant, they won't lose hope and will always prefer to choose bitcoin as investment priority. Unfriendly countries towards crypto, someday will be open to this kind of virtualized currency even though the barriers was quite so hard. The situation was changing, and every year different scenario could possibly occur in many ways.

Bitcoin has come a long way in just 10 short years. Despite the bitcoin price struggling to regain its highs this year, the long-term trend is hard to ignore.

It seems to me that sooner or later bitcoin will go to the target price about 20000$, the question is just when. There are a lot of various researches and opinions which try to prove that that price is the actual value of bitcoin. I never used to believe in such high price values but why not? Bitcoin is the most posh cryptocurrency which is vital for many various usings therefore possible crowd will begin buying bitcoin actively as it happened once before. I do not pledge that something similar will happen but I am awaiting.

Not currently in a trade right now, but this is what I'm seeing:

I expected a lower test of 6k before the bounce, but it looks like it is happening. My target would be 8200 range, but we have yet to reach the .5 fib level as of yet, so 7800 might be a safer target if you're looking to short or take profits.

Long term definitely more than 20000$.

Long term? Definitely it can soar to a price that we really can't imagine it can reach. Probably another all time high along the road, it's just a matter of time. We all know that the price works in a cycle here, so most probably 2023-2024 the year when everything settles down for a new all time high. Do some of you guys thinking that it can get to six digits?

You can't really predict that because you don't know what the value of fiat will be at that time. If you want to know the value in 10 years you have at least 2 variables to consider: deflation of Bitcoin and inflation of fiat money.

While now 1 USD is 1 USD and BTC is 7k USD in 10 year 1 USD will be worth 0.9 of today's USD (or less) and BTC could be worth a million of those future dollars.

Centralized systems inevitably fail and USD is waiting in line for its day.

We aren't able to predict the price of bitcoin tomorrow, then how come it is possible to predict the price of bitcoin after years with accuracy. The price much depends over the demand to the supply. Another thing that gives calculation on the price is the mining. Different countries get to have difference in the expense in mining a single bitcoin. When the mining equipments were more efficient with low electricity consumption maybe there will be inverse reaction on the price.

Another thing once after the entire twenty one million getting mined the market depends completely over the circulation and the real time usage. This means we can't calculate in what percentage is the growth or adoption happening with bitcoin. Based on the factor I believe more the usage more will be the cost.

As the supply is limited and the demand might get high in the future then who knows it will be there in such amount as long as bitcoin will be able to survive all the restrictions and banning of different countries and only adoption will happen then any amount will be possible in the future.

I'm not a fan of conspiracy theories, but it seems to me that the mechanism itself is important in bitcoin. With further technological development, it will become unnecessary and its advantages will be minimized. Just like the battleships, armadillos turned into scrap metal, and before that, slow steamers gradually replaced sailors clippers. Of course, for some time, bitcoin will be in the spotlight and demand will push the price

In relation to banning and other factors that hinders the increase of bitcoin price, we should be keen towards every situation. This issues behind bars will happen eventually, but I don't think it's a permanent decision because we don't know yet the reality of the scenario. It could be different story on their side, also it can be a stategy of big whales who controls the price or even manipulated it due to personal desires to acquire bitcoin at cheaper price and gain higher profit in future halving.

Again, it will depend on the market.
We can speculate all we can but if we are not doing much then it might stay the same way.
We also need to push it.
Invite some people into knowing more what bitcoin really is and not what the media tells it.
There is lot of negativity already about crypto currencies specially when scammers used it as means of payment.
It became like a fearful currency. Better straighten that to other people.

How you can easily say that bitcoin will gonna go up and hit the price of 20,000$? Even they have been a lot of prediction still its not strong to prove that bitcoin will gonna up. The cost of bitcoin will be determine in the condition of the market because if the market are in good condition and the chart or demand are increasing probably bitcoin will also increase. We have different prediction on the price of bitcoin so for me, the cost will be around 10,000$ to 20,000$ in this coming year 2020.

Anything can happen. I don't need to mention here optimistic predictions we can see around, some people believe the moon is possible and that we are heading there. Personally I believe in Bitcoin at $100K, and I believe that will happen in the next 3 years! Sooner the better, but I'm trying to be real when I make predictions for the future, in that way, there are fewer chances for me to get disappointed.

I think $25000 a coin is possible by the end of 2020 or the start of 2021.

yes, I agree with you, it's all just speculation that can be right or wrong. but I am also optimistic that in 2020 the price of bicoin will increase, possibly reaching another $ 20,000.
by 2020 bitcoin will be reduced by half. when the number of goods decreases but the demand is constant or increases, it will certainly increase the value of the goods. and hopefully bitcoin is also like that. many hope that 2020 is a good year for cryptocurrency.

Do you think there are many people who will buy bitcoin when it will cost about one hundred thousand dollars and risk that tomorrow we can again see its price of several thousand dollars? Before talking about the price of one hundred thousand dollars, ask how now those who bought bitcoin at the end of 2017 feel about twenty thousand dollars. We can still see a bitcoin price of $ 35,000 for a short time, but its price of one hundred thousand dollars will probably never be seen.

I think no also since the risk is became more higher if the price will go to $100k since more people cannot afford to buy it and most provably a dump will happen for that's case that's why it's really accurate to predict something nearer or maybe the smallest figure since it's close to reality and people can actually buy that. We should remember the volatility is earning scheme by the whales and they cannot do that if bitcoins will became hard to to purchase.

The mass adoption is happening even it is not fast as you think. We cannot predict accurately the price of the bitcoin in the future it is better if we will just focus on its current price.

I don't think anyone knows for sure how much bitcoin costs and prices will be in the future. because everything is possible.
but I am always optimistic that in the future the price of bitcoin will be more expensive because the number of bitcoins that can be mined decreases while the number of bitcoin requests remains or increases it will make the price of bitcoin increase. and now the number of companies that accept bitcoin is also increasing.

Making predictions in this voltile market is easy as you can say the price can cross $15k or so on but making real judgements is very difficult or say its impossible as prices fluctuates very fast depending on the current market environmemt. But if you have asked for speculations then according to me next year halving could have positive affect on prices and push the prices above $15-$20k by the end of 2020 with normal corrections coming in between so just wait for actual time of pumps.

I find that to be unlikely, it seems that many investors are expecting a very positive year but I do not really agree with it, we are clearly in a very strong bearish trend and we'll require the market to get out of it before you can see any kind of the spectacular growth, and while it may seem that the halving could be the answer to the prayers of many investors the effects are not going to take place as fast as many people imagine and will take a lot of time before they materialize.

All we can say about it is just speculations based on what's happening right now. So it may be true or false. And we do not know what may happen in the coming years, it may be banned from using bitcoin in other countries. And countries can also withdraw their first statement banning the use of bitcoin.

There are so many possibilities now that we are better prepared to not be surprised by what happens.

Green expects the bitcoin and wider cryptocurrency market will expand by “at least” 5,000% in the next 10 years — meaning it could be worth $20 trillion, up from $400 billion today.
Now bitcoin price 7282$
It is a realistic prediction as the entire market will have more adoption in the next ten years and we will see more investment coming in as we might expect the market to see regulations from governments around the world and after that we might see more financial institutions investing in the market and thereby having an impact in the market in the long run.

A lot of possibilities will happen to the Bitcoin in the future actually and one of these speculation they have may happen. But when the time we are no longer alive I still think if Bitcoin would be still a trend after a century until there's no Bitcoin left to mine by the miners. I still think if within a century there must be a new or upgraded version of Bitcoin to allow the growing transaction rate as the adoption will increase each year.

I think regulation has no contribution in price of bitcoin to be high or low but yes banning does. Bitcoin will be banned in some countries but it does not matter at all we simply should hold it in our place as in china bitcoin was banned but it did not effect the price world wide at some areas like in China use of bitcoin reduced as people who were unaware of its worth got worried but overall price remained same, as bitcoin is acceptable all over the world.

We cant say to have that safe future when it comes to crypto but at least we are seeing some light of potential that it can withstand the test of time knowing that government is one of the main man on blocking this adoption.

Its not necessary for us not to go on high prices yet we can always purchase bitcoin in parts which means you wont force yourself on buying a whole coin.Lots of threads and comments weve been keep telling here and there about on whats the price. No one do have that crystal ball to see the future but the important thing here is that we do see its usage and benefits.

Increasing demand on bitcoin doesn't reflect on price that much because whales are few but have more money than thousands of people combined. There could be people with bitcoin today at lets say 10000 people (making up the numbers) and just few of them whales and they could sell and those 10000 people couldn't stop them, tomorrow there could be 20000 people that has bitcoins with 2x interest to bitcoin and we may still not stop the whales.

So, the interest towards bitcoin increases over time but at the same time the price may stay the same because few whales change the prices however they want. Even with that in mind the more interest bitcoin gets the easier the highs will be, compared to couple years ago it is easier to increase the price because when whales help the others the price goes faster thanks to more people buying, it just doesn't reflect on bears but it shows on bulls.

Recently I read an interview with the CEO of the cryptocurrency exchange Bitmex, which predicts a very good and stable growth in Bitcoin in price and the whole reason is that it is precisely because of the existing inflation that there will be very good and stable demand for the first cryptocurrency market.  Of course, the price of Bitcoin will rise, but reaching a psychological maximum of $ 20,000 will be very difficult and almost impossible in the near future.  Nevertheless, a significant increase in the value of Bitcoin will affect the entire cryptocurrency market and the pricing of other cryptocurrencies.

Depend with how bitcoin today maybe look not good for bitcoin price at the future, bitcoin keep in lower price today and not increase more than last one year, long time period for bitcoin not break with higher price. We don't know what happen with bitcoin at new year will be higher price or not because we always find bitcoin only with lower price and keep touch for get bitcoin on higher price later.

It may seem very unlikely or impossible but who knows bitcoin will have a positive turn and will experience a new all time high. Bitcoin is not really bearish if we look at this years performance and I can say there is still a big chance that the bull will come anytime soon.
Whatever term that you prefer to use the fact is that people want the next year to be a positive one, and I understand that, obviously I will like to make money as well and for that I need a positive year, but after what we saw during this year I have my doubts that is going to happen because it will be kind of weird to get a good year and then get an even better year, if that happened then that will mean that we will be in the middle of a bull market and I'm not so sure that it is going to appear so soon.

I agree with what you say if bitcoin takes a very long time to get back to $ 20k, I estimate it might happen in 2021-2022. I would not expect much in 2020, in my opinion the price of bitcoin can reach $ 10k - $ 15k is already very good. if that can happen it will stimulate price increases in the following years.

I doubt that the next year is going to be that positive, bitcoin has a tendency to move in a very abrupt way, if the price were to remain close to its current levels then a growth between 10000 to 15000 is not really that significant, so I have my doubts that it will happen, most likely what we're going to see next year is a year in which the price will try to remain at its current level but it will go down and this will prepare the ground for 2021 which is the year in which I really expect bitcoin to grow and surpass its ATH.

I have the opposite opinion, the dominance of bitcoin will increase as investors finally realize that altcoins do not really offer anything that bitcoin does not, right now there are a few coins that offer a few things that are still not implemented in bitcoin, but give it time and the bitcoin developers will find a way to absorb all of those characteristics in bitcoin and then those coins will become useless, then if you are holding bitcoin just make sure to not spend or lose your coins and in a few years you could be enjoying profits that most investors can only dream about.

I do not care about the prediction of the others because all of it doesn't have accurate data. The price of the bitcoin in the future depends on how we see it today. As time passing by the users are keep increasing and the demand also is rising. There will be a positive effect to the price in the near future if the mass adoption will continue. This year the price of bitcoin is still having a hard time but if there will be a bullish reversal pattern then we know what will happen next.

You'll be shocked if the price will reach $50k, $100k or it drops to $100. Who knows?
A long journey of bitcoin still in the battle and yet, it keep going day by day. Prices may differ and changing all the time for some reason either be bad or for good. We all expected that bitcoin will have a better future, however, we can't deny that it never works fine all the time, it sometimes we suffer such struggles and difficulties before we taste the sweetness of our success.

If you look at history of bitcoin price it was full of volatility. In 2019 bitcoin was seen at 4000$, 12000$ and 7000$. There is no way we can predict future price of bitcoin based on its historical data, we can only have a guess. From my mind if bitcoin crossed 10,000$ in 2020 it will be a big opportunity for all hodlers to convert their bitcoin into profit.

We can speculate the Bitcoin price even low or high but at the end the things which is happening around the Bitcoin like positive and negative are designing the value by the next day.
So nearly we need to understand what are the problems and good signs happening over cryptocurrencies.

What could be the problem of these cryptocurrencies? ???
Does understanding the problem will help to pump the bitcoin's market?
Prediction and speculation are the only things we can do to make a probability guess for the next target price.
We can't tell whether there's a bull run going to happen or a bearish market, everything will depends on the situation.

Investors will not lose hope as long as the popularity of Bitcoin remains constant, they will not lose hope and will always prefer to select Bitcoin as a priority for investment. Unfriendly countries against cryptography will be open to this kind of virtualized currency one day, even though the obstacles have been so difficult. The world was evolving and it was likely that different scenarios could arise in many ways every year. I believe that in the future though sooner or later we'll reach new heights.
Invest just looking chance how to get much profit with bitcoin investing without want to keep holding bitcoin ten years later, when price bitcoin raise up than he invested before they will sell bitcoin and waiting price dump again for re investing, never holding for long term and our money never increase very day or every week.

Of course, every cryptocurrency user expects to make a huge profit on the cryptocurrency market quickly, now and in large volumes.  But if we consider the possibilities of today, then they really have decreased very much compared to 2016.  One way or another, starting in 2010, the largest digital asset of bitcoin, even as of today $ 7,330, shows a yield of almost 9,000,000 percent.  Based on this, it can be said with accuracy that Bitcoin shows very good results for its owners, but only you need to properly operate your assets in order to get the required income.

With bitcoin supply nearing to it's end the price surely spike when the market demand increases so that means that the price can go as high as probably $30,000-$50,000 in the future but we just don't know when will it happen but I guess it will happen after a couple of years.
Bitcoin almost hit $20,000 in the past even with more supplies how much more when all of bitcoins will be mined. Lets just wait and see what the future holds.

of course in the en of bitcoin POW ended, the cost to run bitcoin mining will be very expensive and the reward is very low.
this is make ROI in mining bitcoin will be take a long time , maybe he never reach it, then the hashrate will be down slowly, and transaction need along time and highest fee to get confirmation.

th transaction problem can be solved by lightning network, and for miner we can see nothing  "real solving" for his issue.

yeah and $10,000 price is too much easy target for bitcoin because maximum predictors are predicting that there is a huge chances that bitcoin will hit its price to $20,000 because its the year of halving and you can check history of bitcoin that price of bitcoin mostly jump to higher on the halving year.

How much can Bitcoin cost will be determined by market, by demand and supply ratio. So, the highest level can't be predicted or determined bur we have to follow conditions in the market and mood of investors.
Currently it's not very likely that price will rise strongly and that will reach 10000$ soon but the whole year is ahead of us so we'll see what that will bring to us.

Wrong. It really depends what your main goals are. Either:

A) Make more cash
B) Make more sats

Many people that I know use Bitcoin as a trading fun game with a small percentage of their holding. For example they think of their trades in Dollar Terms. They buy a specific amount $ and sell when the price is higher the same amount in Dollar but keep the rest of the sats as a long-term reward, which goes to their long term stack. Thus they try to increase their bags through rather easy trades which sometimes need months to be succesful, but are pretty easy if you believe that Bitcoin will stay bullish over a longer time frame of even years.

We can't predict tomorrow's bitcoin price, then how it's possible to predict the bitcoin price with accuracy after years. The price to the supply depends a lot on the demand. The mining is another thing that gives the price estimate. Different countries have a difference in the cost of a single bitcoin mining. Perhaps there will be an inverse reaction on the price when the mining equipment was more effective with low electricity consumption.

Not possible for prediction with bitcoin price in tomorrow or prediction with bitcoin price in the future where raised with higher price or going down, when got positive way by accepting with many countries and companies maybe bitcoin back with higher price, but when bitcoin get bad respond and many countries banned bitcoin just wait awhile for bitcoin back with lower price.

Maybe few cents or maybe millions of dollars. Who knows? The price of bitcoin in the future cannot be predicted. If every government in the world decides to ban the usage of bitcoin, the price of the crypto currencies will be affected very badly. Again, if the world legalizes the usage of crypto currencies completely, then the price of the crypto currencies will sky rocket. Now, you never know, if any of these are actually going to happen or not. So, you can't predict the price. But, yeah, for now, in the long run as more people starts to use crypto currencies, the price of it will also increase.

It's easy to make predictions in this voltile market as you can say the price can go over 15 grand or so, but making real judgments is very difficult or saying it's impossible because prices fluctuate very quickly depending on the current market environment. But if you asked for speculations, halving next year might have a positive effect on prices and push prices above 20k by the end of 2020 with normal corrections coming in between so just wait for the actual pump time.

The halving is this year not in 2021.

The price of a full adoption should be very high and the regular users should think in satoshis and not in bitcoins anymore.

Just look at hathaway berkshire shares. We could consider to reach as high as $200-300k until we're absorbed in the financial markets and, very important, tamed. That is then when the crypto market will behave as Gold, rather slow but stable. But with higher potential for the future, the new generation can't do anything with gold. We're living in a digital world now.

Bitcoin's price for the future depends on how we see it now. Most of us now see it as a commodity, and the market for bitcoin continues to rise. Mass adoption is taking place even though you don't think it's easy. We can't predict the bitcoin price correctly in the future if we're just going to focus on its current price. The key is to see that over time it''s going to continue going up

But you need to calculate how much profit that should be gained don't just have many expectation that bitcoin price will be higher than now. Look how many persons who regreted that didn't sell their bitcoin at the all time high? I think there is much and I believe they regreted now. We don't need mass adoption as long as the people see bitcoin is a legit investment place. The new user will choose it quickly and buy bitcoin to gain money.

In the future, the increase in the price of bitcoin is subject to certain restrictions and prohibitions imposed by some countries. The recent clamp down on some exchanges in China, for example, had really influenced the price to a downward trend, this and many more are likely to be implemented by unfriendly cryptos in the future. Nonetheless, all these bottlenecks would not dissuade the price of it because, as its popularity soars, many investors would invest in it and bear in mind that the more scarce the holders thus raise their value according to their size.

but i have a different views on this one mate, for me?everything will in favor Bitcoin in the next 10 years because there is no competitive currency that can adopt the computer age like Bitcoin and Cryptocurrencies .
imagine what will be the changes when people realizes how easy and friendly Bitcoin to use as payments?that thing will encourage people and of course the government will follow if their people demand for adoption,so more or less in future?we will be using Bitcoin as Main currency.

What is going to be the future price of bitcoin during the next decades is one of those questions from which we wish we had the answer but we need to be honest and admit we have no way to know that, everything will depend on how the fiat crisis that is boiling will be resolved and how people react to it, if people decide to keep trusting in fiat despite everything that it will happen then bitcoin may not be as valuable as we think but if bitcoin became an alternative for many people then we could be talking about hundreds of thousands of dollars for each bitcoin.

Speculating base from you assessment and studies also adds up when you are dealing with this business. Anticipating in order to setup your targets
gives you good edge from the ups and downs which are happening inside the market, with good understanding you'll be able to find the best patterned
to be more profitable and you'll be able to adjust with the wide spread of time span.

Bottom line is, we can only speculate. The factors that you've indicated may be different in the future. We don't know and we don't have any means of knowing. As we've seen time and time again, bitcoin has gone against popular speculations and predictions. So there's really little use. I believe bitcoin will be relevant in the future. That's why i'm holding. I don't know if that'll come true, but it's my decision to invest in it.
