I have been running a node since the beginning hosted at ihostmn. Rewards very good here in the beginning ;-)

Was on one team that swapped their tokens to BTCT coin. Hope it become a big success.

Thanks for the kind comment! yes BTCT has current 7 tokens that have swapped their entire communities into this blockchain:

MRO - Mero Currency
EBT - Ebank Token
EROS - Eros Token
GRND - Ground token
TXT - Trex Token
TMB - Tembo Coin
DET - Diamond Exchange Token

And possibly a few more communities will join, we have over 240,000+ in the BTCT decntralized community now! wow.

Thanks for the positive comment!

being community run we are not offering bounties for translation or for other tasks. But we are running a fair referral airdrop that is open to all to participate: https://twitter.com/_bitcointoken/status/1191695950848446465

https://pbs.twimg.com/media/EInBJS1WsAEtPFI?format=jpg&name=small

"To celebrate the Bitcoin Token release, we are giving free AIRDROP to all interested. Great ref bonus for helping to spread the word.  1 BTCT for everyone. Up to 50 BTCT for refs. 0.1 BTCT for each. You must enter the BTCT wallet address by downloading our node software from: www.bitcointoken.pw or get an address from Altilly Exchange (recommended for mobile only users)."

We are excited for all the ways the community is getting involved in this decentralized project. The sky is the limit, transactions are fast, and mobile wallets and other options are coming in the future.

Is it an old project? Why boasting having 240k followers? Are those real or most of them are dummies? Coining the name of bitcoin and token? Why not create your own name and not use bitcoin?

edit:

By the way, about 88% is the premine from the current supply. We know what will happen to this kind of project.  ::) ::) ::)

Great questions.   We are a new project with 7 token communities swapped into one, so yes we have a community of over 240,000+ people in twitter / telegram / discord etc.  See the entire listing of our groups at the bottom of www.bitcointoken.pw

One of the devs on the team is from the original Bitcoin Token (eth token) team and when that token was changed to a new chain losing its name, there was a desire to ressurect the older name, the current team agreed as it was fair to use and we were excited to essentially bring to life something that had huge potential and so does again!  There is a team of over 20+ devs, marketers, team representatives and this is a growing number.

Bitcoin Token is a decentralized movement where all are welcome to participate and its a great time to join now as mining will be done over the next 3 years of the rest of the 16 million of the supply, so its fair for everyone to easily stake and earn BTCT via POS (Proof of Stake).

i saw that there is a premine token around 5M, can you explain what will you do about that token?
because I'm afraid that you will dump it later if the price of bitcoin token is got high

The 5 million premine is for the swap to the 7 token communities mentioned above and also the airdrop campaign. This is a way to kickstart the movement with many holders as well as a large 240k+ community.

If there is excess from the premine we wll see if another token or coin can swap to distribute it as much as possible.

By the way, about 88% is the premine from the current supply. We know what will happen to this kind of project.

the premine is actually 5 million as we stated in the initial ANN post and I shared again the rest in this post, we not hiding this. The rest of the 12% is staked BTCT by the community earned and the rest of the 16 million will be staked by the community. So it is a big growth quickly via airdrop and 7 token communities swapping into BTCT chain.

And then 16 million to be staked and earned via Masternodes and wallet staking by all community members.

Hi, there. Can you provide an explanation of what is special about your tokens compared to other similar tokens? I don't see many significant differences here. I didn't mean to blame, but did you come here only to make a difference by changing the name and creating a new community?

Sure that is a fair question. Some ways we seek to be different or at least rare in our approach:

1) We are seeking to follow the same way as much as possible as Bitcoin, allowing for mining in the community and fair distribution of BTCT

2) We are seeking a decentralized approach (many projects claim this but are actually companies or foundations) we are a decentralized project, all volunteer and there is no head or main person.

3) We have a fixed rate of 21 million BTCT that wlll be mined after the 3 years mining period each transaction will burn 0.0001 of the supply. so Bitcoin Token is "deflationary" like BOMB but has a very slow burn rate.

4) We are championing Bitcoin as the gold standard and not trying to replace BTC in that purpose.

5) We will be releasing an easy way to run a node on Raspberry Pi's and have a soft-cap goal to see 1000+ Pi's running a BTCT node to sustain the network.

6) We are a long-term volunteer (community run), open source project.

Trust that helps!

edit:  Also we are not a "token" in the ETH sense of the word, we are a "coin" an actual blockchain based of Pivx. which is ultimately based of BTC coding.    Bitcoin Token as a name signifies we are a "lesser value" then BTC, not a gold standard and can be easily traded and transferred.

What is the purpose to keep Bitcoin before token this should make this suspicious and it would become really hard to get trust of the people on this token while there is no support like the king. I would like to know your thought why you add Bitcoin name in your token?

It is common in the crypto world there are many "bitcoin forks" or bitcoin naming conventions, this should not be a problem in anyone's mind. Just type in "Bitcoin" in the search field on CoinMarket Cap website.   Some top currencys on CMC are:
-Bitcoin
-Bitcoin Cash
-Bitcoin Gold
-Bitcoin SV
-Bitcoin Diamond
etc

Again we are not competing with Bitcoin but championing them and promoting them, Bitcoin IS the Gold standard of Crypto.

And in order to run at least one MN you'd need a minimum of $300 worth of $BTCT (at the current prices) right?
BTW, If I may ask, what forced you guys out of the Ethereum network? Any particular reason for moving and creating your own blockchain?
To those who are wondering, here's the old ann thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3024475 (For reference)

Yes, a masternode is 10,000 $BTC which at the price currently of 0.03527174. will be over $350 USD.  Currently the ROI is very high at 800%.  there is a shared masternode host that you can put less BTCT to get rewards also for MN: https://ihostmn.com/sharing.php

Towards your question about ETH, that is a great question and will try and answer it briefly here.

Personally I love the ethereum network for its eco-system, there are so many services and 3rd party applications that are integrated into the ETH system that it makes it very easy to find tools and applications to use. This minimizes development time as there are many free and already usuable options for applications and other dapps.   Towards ETH also the ease of starting a token, and managing it is very easy and that allows the dev team to focus on integration, innovation and also marketing.

The downside of ETH and the ultimate reason for moving on for us is that it is not decentralized enough. There is central control of ETH, and we are looking to help start and be involved in a truly decentralized project where there is NO central control and in the end anyone can utilize the BTCT blockchain and it will run by the community and via wallet nodes etc.

Also in peoples minds ETH tokens are of little value, as many people start them, this was evident in the deflationary token market where hundreds started in a few months time.   We are looking forward to many developers putting much time and work into the Bitcoin Token blockchain.

I see. Gunning for total decentralization, that makes sense. But, maybe that would be much appropriate without premined coins?
Well, I take it you guys will use those for marketing and exchange listings? Speaking of which, will there be another round of bounty campaign for this one?

I have been involved with crypto since 2010; this seems to be one of the best and more robust projects I've known, apart from $ETH and $TRX. In that matter, these other projects are specially interesting because of their scalability, precisely in terms of their ERC-20 and TRC-20 token tailor-made blockchain infrastructure. I wonder, what would happen to $BTCT if devs come out with a BRC-20 suite...

And, I would also like to say something about $BTCT remarkable ROI: the masternode strategy is a winner, because it ensures network availability, on one hand, and rewards first-adoption crypto investors with wonderful benefits.

Congratulations to all of the dev team participants, and also to its C-suite persons.

There is actually NO pre-sale, the dev team is not selling any of our swapping BTCT, some of the community is selling their BTCT who swapped from other tokens, we call these dumpers, its great for those who want to stake and earn more to buy up all the sell orders now while they are cheap.

Yes, because we are swapping 7 tokens into BTCT and their entire communities the decision (the only way possible) was a pre-mine to cover those swaps and it was thought to also offer an airdrop.  The goal is total distribution of the premine in the next few weeks.

We already have 2 exchanges and a 3rd one coming, we have confidence if we build a strong blockchain that exchanges will naturally come with price increase and demand.

We are not offering bounty campaigns but rather letting the community itself help with marketing freely.

Why did you choose 7 abandoned projects as your community base instead of running the project from the beginning?
And more importantly all of them are a deflationary token, are those projects yours?

MRO - Mero Currency
EBT - Ebank Token
EROS - Eros Token
GRND - Ground token
TXT - Trex Token
TMB - Tembo Coin
DET - Diamond Exchange Token

I am personally "one" of the devs of the Mero Currency with the task to write here on BitcoinTalk.  All are indepedent projects with different devs.

MRO, EBT, EROS and GRND are deflationary tokens.

And fyi Bitcoin Token BTCT is actually deflationary.

"Low Fees and Deflationary!
Currently, the fee to send a $25 Bitcoin transaction, e.g. to pay for a decent meal, is $0.42. The same transaction, paid with Bitcoin Token (BTCT), would cost less than $0.01. i.e. Almost free! BTCT is also deflationary after the 3 years mining period each transaction will burn 0.0001 of the supply."
 from the website: www.bitcointoken.pw

None are "abandoned" all have active communities and some had great exchagnes like Catex and Mercatox with them ie (DET and TXT) and visa deals that we are negoting to move over to BTCT.

But I was in the Eros project before, many things happened with them such as their bounty manager did not do his job, the founder of the project dropped it and someone else took over it. Literally, there is no activity on their group after all of this, why did you choose it rather than doing it from the beginning?
If you are running it from the beginning and fairly, I am sure you will get a lot more than today. Especially the people who are interested in your project.

I have been running a node since the beginning hosted at ihostmn. Rewards very good here in the beginning ;-)

Was on one team that swapped their tokens to BTCT coin. Hope it become are big success.

Thanks for the kind comment! yes BTCT has current 7 tokens that have swapped their entire communities into this blockchain:

MRO - Mero Currency
EBT - Ebank Token
EROS - Eros Token
GRND - Ground token
TXT - Trex Token
TMB - Tembo Coin
DET - Diamond Exchange Token

And possibly a few more communities will join, we have over 240,000+ in the BTCT decntralized community now! wow.

It means you have already made a 7 coins and projects and all of this project swapped to BCTT are these token still existing or not? One thing i have in my mind, the 5M premine is almost 23% of the total coin, Seems it's too big for a project.

i think the 7 coins that listed there will be swapped to the BCTT or BCTT token and the 5M Premine will be reduced because it will be used to swap for the 7 coins/token

It means you have already made a 7 coins and projects and all of this project swapped to BCTT are these token still existing or not? One thing i have in my mind, the 5M premine is almost 23% of the total coin, Seems it's too big for a project.

The tokens that have and are swapping into $BTCT will not be supported at all on the ETH chain, meaning those tokens become valueless! Each token that swaps brings its entire community (those who desire to switch) which is mandatory, also all social profiles, website, and any other products, services possible. So its not just an optional swap but an converting the token and all its community into Bitcoin Token BTCT.

23% is for 7 token communities (possibly 9) and airdrop. So we are growing an even larger community of people. Currently 18% of the current circulating supply is locked up in masternodes so that is a positive sign of people seeing great value in BTCT. It also makes BTCT much more scarce to get.

To be involved in the 23% is still possible via airdrop and buying any small dumpers on the exchange:https://www.altilly.com/asset/BTCT

The key to being an early adopter is you get the benifit of the high ROI% rates via Masternode and staking and also the price is very cheap right now because of a few people getting rid of BTCT not even understanding its value, which is their lose and early adopters gain.

3rd exchange will be crex exchange?

We love Crex exchange we will definetly consider them.  ;D :D ;).  CatEx and mercatox are pretty nice starter exchanges also.

i think the 7 coins that listed there will be swapped to the BCTT or BCTT token and the 5M Premine will be reduced because it will be used to swap for the 7 coins/token

Yes correct we are still in process of the swap. Only MRO and EBT have been swapped and the other 5 tokens will be swapped on Nov 30th in a few days.  We are also in talks with 2 more tokens and one coin.

The ratio for swap will be 1:20.  1 GRND to 20 BTCT.

The ratio for swap will be 300:1. 300 TMB to 1 BTCT.

The ratio for swap will be 150k:1.  150k TXT to 1 BTCT.

The ratio for swap will be 2:1.  2 DET to 1 BTCT.

The ratio for swap will be 80:1.   80 EROS to 1 BTCT.

For more details or a link to the group swapping please contact admins on telegram here: https://t.me/bitcointokenbtct

Excess BTCT will be given via airdrops (we might extend the time) and or also additional token communities who have interest to swap.   By the end of Dec. We will be completely done distributing the 23% of $BTCT and have the currency very decentralized to start with with great even chance and opportunity for the community to stake and be a part of its growth.

The airdrop is live you can earn 1 BTCT freely and up to 49 more via referrals. see here: https://givelab.com/btct/bitcoin-token-btct-airdrop

The real value though is through Masternodes and staking, as our rewards are the highest right now still around 800% ROI. Meaning at the current pricing $8.627 daily income. (205.7141 BTCT).   yearly income. $3105.541 (74057.076 BTCT) see those stats on the masternode site here: https://pecuniaplatform.io/ref/092300f0

The token used for airdrop is pre-mine token, right? How many of the total tokens reserved for pre-mine are used for this airdrops? I see, there are already 17k registrants, I think it will continue to grow rapidly.

i saw that there is a premine token around 5M, can you explain what will you do about that token?
because I'm afraid that you will dump it later if the price of bitcoin token is got high

It is because of these numbers that keep myself from investing in a project.
For me, everything should be crystal honest and clean from the very beginning, and it is clear that such a project on the market will not be able to become popular.
Too many question marks to which there are not always answers, and as it seems to me, not only me.

Yes they are paid with premined coins.

2992 users have signed up so fare.
You look at total social media tasks solved.

2246 refs made so fare.

So if it ended now 2992 + 2246 * 0,1 (224,6) = 3216,2 BTCT needed

There are allocated more than that.

I have made the form. I was community manager for MRO team. Not sure what I am for BTCT team. Runs a little different with alot teams that use same coin.

MRO, EBT, TXT, DET, TMB, GRND, EROS, DOGP swap to BTCT

So coins is used to swap all other assets. Teams coins for the swaps teams is not swapped to BTCT. Only holders.

The hope is that alot services, team members, developers, holders will continue under the BTCT brand.

>It is because of these numbers that keep myself from investing in a project.
Fair. There is no IEO, ICO. We don't ask for your investment. I know the team I was on just keep doing what we did before. Hope is other teams do the same and the comebined offert make an interesting coin. What I have seen so fare is some holders sell, others buy a little more to run nodes, most team members continue and alot services change to BTCT.

The goal is to be like the big coins where multiple teams build on the same asset.

Unfortunately 100% swap is not achieved. A few holders don't see it, some don't care if they have small amount and other reasons maybe.
So hard to say 100% how much is left before all swaps are done.

The remaining coins will be used to SWAP a team more if many coins left. And some will be assigned to markering.

When more teams become one big joined team I obviously can't say what the majority votes for. Feel free to join and give your opinion.

Hi!

This sounds like an interesting project, good overhaul and restart with a good base and experienced, enthusiastic users.

A few questions:

- Is there, next to making a fast network with low transaction fees, another goal or is the goal just being a currency?

- On bitcointoken.pw there is written that mining is possible by leaving the wallet open. Is that happening anyway or does there need to be a certain amount in the wallet? And at what rate is this happening?

- I have found the trading pair LTC/BTCT on Altilly, though the price seems to be very off (at least 5x higher than it should be). What is the reason for this?

Following and wishing you luck,
Xie

@Xie89

Have an opinion on these 2

>Is that happening anyway or does there need to be a certain amount in the wallet?
The more coins the better odds. 0 BTCT give 0% odds. 10% of coins give 10% of reward.

1 min per block. 8 BTCT for masternode 6 BTCT for staking walle at the moment.
https://github.com/bitcointokenbtct/Bitcoin-Token-Core

>I have found the trading pair LTC/BTCT on Altilly
The rewards a high, so some bought for some nodes after the first swaps. Maybe they FEMO a little some and bought to expensive. Because not many use LTC pair at the moment it could be that price hanging.

Because the project is multible teams working together using the same coin there will be different usecase. It takes some effort to make the swaps dnd get the node network up. After that we (old MRO team) continue the work with usecases. Hope other teams will do the same. Is excited to see what all teams bring into the project.

Hello Xie,

great questions. I thought to add that Bitcoin Token is "Deflationary" meaning that after the max supply has been mined in 3 years every transaction will burn a small part of the supply which helps against inflation and will very slowly over time (well more over the transaction and usuage) increase the scarcity and therefore price also of BTCT.

Decentralization is a key also for us, currently the community of over 250k+ initial adopters is good but that is just the first step towards BTCT being like BTC.  (without the whales of course!).

Some volunteer developers are working on new wallet GUI's as we speak and mobile wallets are in the works and planning, as that will help towards mass adoption.

Yes exactly BTCT is an open platform that any developer can build Dapp or other applications ontop of to utilize its use.  There are many things being started by developers and it will be exciting to see what innovative ideas are brought to fruition.  Until something is under heavy developement and very near release nothing will be announced. We are not going to hype things up but rather show by actual progress the value of BTCT.

Thanks to all for the fast and clear replies. Sounds very good all!

I would love to start a masternode, unfortunately I'm very remote, so both gear and stable connection are not available to me  ::)

Then last question; what advise would you give me on getting (500+) BTCT into my wallet other than bounty programs?
I have signed up for the Airdrop and am looking into buying on Altilly, but for now find the price to high..

Greetings,
Xie

UPDATE:
Just did the first buy, BTCT received in wallet, working like a charm. Thanks

UPDATE 2:
Pity about the drop though  ::)

Some cheap BTCT probably for sell the next days. Some always get weak hands after swap.

Keeping the wallet open with 500+ BTCT in it already works itself or do I have to stake it somewhere (changing anything in the settings or so)?

Thanks in advance,

The TMB team/project have this channel.

They are part of BTCT movement now. They swapped yesterday.

215608 TMB is as fare as I know below 2 BTCT. So not a big lose. But try to ask the team.

@JanEmil

Last days I have been busy starting on Crypos.io, thanks for the tip. I must say I am really impressed, the ROI is amazing, the transactions speed of BTCT and fee are equally impressive, let's see how that will work out when there will be growth and more movement but so far, so (very) good.
Also the wallet is good and everything seems to be working seamlessly. All together very impressive. A great project which I am happy to be part of!

That brings me to theorizing and questions: Because since there is no management and all is decentralized and independent - where will it go from here?
The most important goal in general and at this point in my opinion would be: adoption

Because the system is totally dependent on how many people will use it and adopt it, really as a form of currency. Otherwise the whole project will just be one big pyramid-like scheme where it will grow and then, in the end, collapse only to benefit a few that jump ship in time.

So far, do you agree?

So then my next thought is:
In a normal company, after the management comes marketing. The 'product' needs to be marketed and there usually is a strategy being thought out (by management and marketing) to do this. So how will this happen in case of BTCT?
Because solely relying on the automatic adoption and maybe word-to-mouth of independent persons might be a lot to ask.
So within the BTCT community, who are the people behind this course?
Will it be all the people that were part of the other project/coin that swap into BTCT?
How are they coming together and deciding what way to go?
Because sometimes, problems can arise in any project, courses have to be adjusted, decisions have to be made. Who will take (and more important, get) this responibility?

Well, so far my thoughts, looking forward to your and other people's opinions!

Great work all!!
Greetings,
Xie

We have a group called "BTCT | Private Volunteer Team". No payment, no free coins etc.
So fare 7 teams have swapped into BTCT. One more 20th December. The teams kind of coordinate things in that group. For the generel things.
All specific things for each team they do themself. But listings, programming, wallets, apps, generel marketing we talk about in that group. Will the group exist forever? Probably not. But fully decentralisation take some time. The network need to be big before it can support itself.
We see who will be the "leading" power for BTCT. So fare 30 people have taken some unofficial roles. All people can join. My personal opinion is that it will be most fun if you hold some nodes as well so you can see your work result in more value etc. But some also just like to build.

Yep we agree with you, our general marketing has not even really started so we are all well before any press releases, new alerts or anything has been sent out. Really its early adoption time with 8 token teams that have swapped into BTCT and one coin coming up (Dogecoin Private) which has 600 MN's so they are brining a community who uses MN's which will be great.

We already have over 100+ live nodes consistently and 80+ MN's. Our hope is to hit the 1000 node mark.

Some devs have been working on the wallet GUI and we will be releasing that soon, a encouraging graphical wallet for people to watch while they stake their BTCT!

More exciting news our 9th token swapping into Bitcoin Token is:  CYBG token  https://twitter.com/Cyborgofficial

that is a total now of 9 token communities and 1 coin (DOGP Dogecoin Private).

So in total there are 10 crypto currency communities now joined into the BTCT decentralized movement. We are making crypto history.

How does it's work in here ?
https://ihostmn.com/hostmn.php?coin=BTCT
please explain in detail how to use this.

If you run full BTCT masternode you need 10000 BTCT.

Our best exchange at the moment is
https://www.altilly.com/asset/BTCT

Price can be seen at
https://www.coingecko.com/en/coins/bitcoin-token

Guide for masternode hosted at ihostmn is on the page

Tutorial video explaining masternode setup: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4bYZNmL3VBo

Make sure that you have at least 0.99€ in your account balance, otherwise you can fund your account balance here.
Update your BitcoinToken wallet to latest version, otherwise your masternode will not be able to start.
Create new address in your coin wallet.
Send 10000 BTCT to address just created. It must be exactly 10000.
Wait for transaction to reach 15 confirmations.
Go to wallet debug console and type masternode outputs
You will get output similar to this:
    {
    "dd08c83ca895b7202d1cf932feb2df86065ac6de583c0f76651f06aa099b5f41": "1"
    }
Copy the data in above form. The long string is Transaction ID and the number after it is Transaction Index.

@JanEmil

Hi, hope you are well.

I have a few questions:

1. The new wallet looks great. The option 'encrypt wallet', what exactly does it do? It locks it for the user of the computer where it's installed on or does it do more security wise? Does it stills send/receive/stake when it's locked or not?

2. I have started with Crypos.io. It's phenomenal! The ROI is amazing and it's working steadily. Again, thanks for the tip!!  8) I have started a few days ago with around 5000 BTCT, then the daily return was about 66 BTCT. Now I'm up a bit higher (around 6,600) and the return has lowered to about 55 BTCT a day. How does this work? Is this dependent of value of the token, total volume or something else?

3. Where to find in the wallet how the staking process is going? Is it possible to see the progression of this or not?

Looking forward to your answers,
greetings,
Xie

2) https://github.com/bitcointokenbtct/Bitcoin-Token-Core

Block Time 60 Seconds
First year 1
14 BTCT block reward
8 BTCT for masternode
6 BTCT for staking
We all fight to get rewards. So more Wallets/Masternodes will lower daily rewards. BUT many people interested should also give more value. So in $ value we hope it go up.

Hi,

Thanks for the fast reply. OK, so it's dependent on the amount of nodes and 'stakers'. Good to know (and yes, of course everybody hopes on value going up  :D )

I don't think decentralization could get any better! Seeing many projects come together and be part of this. Got a few BTCT nodes running myself and really believe BTCT devs will take this where it needs to be. Although it needs more pairs on exchanges and Would be nice if there is a mobile wallet that can store BTCT coins. Great work guys

Enjoy the moment while you can, because most MN projects are really promising at the start.
But if you try to revisit them 6 months or few years from now, I don't think you will still be impressed by its ROI.
I am just stating a possible scenario. It would be good if I am wrong.
Because I am still contemplating on what would be the main reason that this project will survive long in crypto?

Hello,

Great comments and thoughts. We have setup a 3 year mining system so that the entire supply will be mined in 3 years and then the supply will be fixed and even deflationary as every transaction will be burnt after that. Of course there is extra incentive currently for people to get involved due to higher ROI and higher stake and MN rewards.  Each year those rewards degrade slightly.

we are an amlgamantion of 10 projects: MRO, EBT, TXT, DET, TMB, GRND, EROS, DOGP, REMI, CYBG

So there are alot of devs, and other marketing specialists who are helping work together to see this project have long-term goals. Our focus currently has been 80% on developing the blockchain well, with a goal of seeing 5000-10k nodes live by various means from QT wallets, MN's to Raspberry Pi's.   So our goal is a very strong blockchain created so there will be confidence for projects to build dapps and other integrations for long term use.

We have some integration partnerships coming up but our focus is mostly on development work not marketing or integration yet.

I totally agree with you and it's a good thing to be critical in this sense. This is also one of the biggest challenges in the crypto world - what REALLY makes a project worthwile longterm and adopted on a bigger scale. That's why I believe fully in community, (financial) independence and contribution of ideas which can be developed by said community.
I have the hope that this is such a project. So let's see, for now enjoy the ride and keep sparring  ;)

i am wondering here if this youtuber is a paid one or just expressing his opinion towards btct? also most of the projects that are community-run are only good at the start, few months and once the price starts to fall, they will slowly move on to another project.
what do you think would make them stay on this project for long period of time?

i saw that there is a premine token around 5M, can you explain what will you do about that token?
because I'm afraid that you will dump it later if the price of bitcoin token is got high

The 5 million premine is for the swap to the 7 token communities mentioned above and also the airdrop campaign. This is a way to kickstart the movement with many holders as well as a large 240k+ community.

If there is excess from the premine we wll see if another token or coin can swap to distribute it as much as possible.

Quote
By the way, about 88% is the premine from the current supply. We know what will happen to this kind of project.

the premine is actually 5 million as we stated in the initial ANN post and I shared again the rest in this post, we not hiding this. The rest of the 12% is staked BTCT by the community earned and the rest of the 16 million will be staked by the community. So it is a big growth quickly via airdrop and 7 token communities swapping into BTCT chain.

And then 16 million to be staked and earned via Masternodes and wallet staking by all community members.
I think you should give more details about this, and come up with more details en general.
That's to capt the interest, and satisfy the curiosity of users

That is just promotional stuff so don't take it serious while that is still very young project and the time will decide the future of this project. I have advice for you never consider youtuber as serious one because they always looking for views and their subscriber if this project have something unique to offer than it will survive otherwise it will become part of the past.

meaning out of the entire circulating supply already 33%+ of BTCT is locked into Masternodes!

Very good question, please explain.

I had the same questions of a friend of mine, who was confused by BTK. So is BTK swapped to BTCT or not? And how come you are saying that you have nothing to do with them ut are posting these things?

BTK already swapped to turbo coin. A good coin. So don’t fully undestand. Why should we swap a coin already swapped? Try to contact the team.

We have notting to do with BTK
A few devs on BTCT team was on btk team. We have agreed with BTK we can use their old logo etc.

So is/was/will there be a swap or not? Or is there really no connection whatsoever?

BTK already swapped to turbo coin. A good coin. So don’t fully undestand. Why should we swap a coin already swapped? Try to contact the team.

But I keep the old btk coins in my desktop wallet, and not on the exchange, what should I do in this case?

We can possibly in the near future do a swap for old BTK token holders, but at this point we are holding off.  The key is to get BTCT strong, we did not realize there were so many people who did not SWAP when BTK swapped to a coin a year ago. That is sad!.

saved to watchlist,
thinking of hosting my own node.

Thats great to hear.  We are working with alot of people to beta test our release on Raspberry Pi devices. The RasPi 4 is working well with our unbuntu release.  Our vision is to see 1000's of RasPi's fueling the BTCT blockchain!  Masternodes are important but I feel RasPi's could be the way to host the blockchain in the future in a more decentralized manner.   We are also looking into helping people tunnel through their router so the RasPi's can act as SeedNodes on the network also with their ip showing.

Hello.
I am interested in investing more in your coin.
But first I want to know, how many BTCT are already redistributed through swaps.
Could you write the exact amount of BTCT for each swap and the exact amount of all BTCT already redistributed through all swaps.

We are not going to share all the numbers but we are almost completely distributed of the pre-mine. The ratios were all different for each token and coin. There are a total of 13 projects that swapped into BTCT as a movement now.

MRO Mero Currency was the main project that recieved the highest ratio swap compared to others.

ps there was some selling of BTCT to a few initial investors also in the end so we could afford the Crex24 listing and another exchange listing is coming up. Also some of the BTCT was used in marketing.

hi guys, dont know much about masternodes but what are my options holding 1073 BTCT in my desktop wallet? i thought i could mine via the wallet but i guess i need a masternode hookup. I see things like shared masternodes but dont know how it really works. Im a noob at this so any help would be awesome.

the website says just have your tokens in the wallet and leave it open, but i feel maybe im missing something
wallet says staking is active but im not sure how to see what is staking

i did try -masternode=<n> with n being 0 but it says Method not found (code -32601

anyway, much help would be appreciated

1073 BTCT should be fine to stake in wallet. I have 8000 and get rewards daily.

https://crypos.io have shared masternodes for BTCT. You can reinvest rewards so it build fast and you don't need your local wallet online.

If you have 2 green lights in right corner all is good.

The more coins you have the bigger odds. Every 60s someone get 6 BTCT as staking reward.

One good partnership more

The year? hmm. Hard to say.
We are +30 volunteers that put in alot hours. And more decentralized groups working with BTCT for their own gain but that also give mutual gain for all.
Would be disappointing if that not give alot results.

Hi Devs,

First of all good work all!

2 questions:

- Is there any timeframe on the mobill wallet? It would do the project a lot of good I think, especially when staking would be possible on the phone.

- Are there any markting campaigns planned in the near future (other then the trading competition and tweets)?

Greetings,
Xie

Hello,

Great questions and thanks again for the encouragement.   We are working on 3rd party mobile app integrations first via partnerships then later one we will consider our own app with even staking features. It is likely there will be no staking on the mobile app but it is a possibility.

We are working on Raspberry Pi Node development and testing and soon many people will be able to stake and host a 24/7 NODE on their Pi computer (which is a $30 mini computer that hardly uses any electricity) our aim is to see alot of the nodes on the network run on these small eco-friendly machine which are just over the size of an iphone and much lighter.

Yes we have many angles of marketing even right now, we announce marketing partnerships already with coinkeeper etc.  We will also be live in 3-4 blockchain large events in 2020.  So stay tuned lots of great news coming up and more exposure for BTCT!

Thanks for the answers!

Hope the mobile staking will work out.

For sure I want to try to get a Pi node up, that would be amazing. Any tips on buying a Pi with either Cryptocurrency or Paypal?
First one (of course) would be my preference.

And I forgot if I asked already, but: 1 Pi = 1 node? Or can 1 Pi run more nodes?

Great, looking forward to the announcements of the live events. I'm sure this will do a lot for adoption and getting the message out there.

Greetings,
Xie

A clean server with no other site on the server and more credible than a server where there are too many scam sites, I think it would remain more credible :)

Keep up. You will learn along the way.

I have nothing to learn, I just see :) for a serious project, 1 site per server, and these are already more credible, and hiding its identity on the server lets think that the project will disappear under little
ps/ github is not a reference, there's lots of shitcoin on it ...

Greetings,
Xie

There is one Pi4 here left you can buy with crypto (BTC) : https://www.adafruit.com/product/4295

It will be 1 Pi will be 1 24/7 hosted node.  Our v1.0 ISO image for the Pi's will be released soon which will have simple helps in place, by v2.0 of our node we will setup a wizard and other helps to get people started very easily to run a node.

I am invisioning mini server racks of Ras Pi's to run the entire BTCT chain. those mini computers are very eco-friendly in cost to run.

Thanks for the tips!

That sounds like a great vision. If that would be in a country where the energy is being produced 'green' that would be even more awesome. Or just put it on solar and battery.

Another question about the Raspberry;

does it have to be dedicated? Or can you run other things on it at the same time, let's say a home security center as an example?

Great question.  You can still run other things on it, the wallet is not very intensive as its POS not POW.

Yes, solared powered Pi's are an amazing idea, totally eco-friendly!

What are the other use cases of BTCT aside from trading? Why is this coin created, I haven't followed on its existence? At least the price in crex is not below 1 sat, where a lot of alts listed in that exchange has below 1 sat value. This one is maintaining above 50 sat. Why it can hold that price so strong?

It looks like this project gains a lot of supporters right now. and they are buying that amount every cheap little prices tonrun a masternodes and i saw there is a good roi in here if you stake their token, in that case if the stakers push its price there might be a good feedback in the market where people may notice what is this BTCT although for me it is still a copy of bitcoin but a profitable one early advantage for stakers.

So BTCT was a proof of stake coin and the only thing you could do right now is amassing BTCT to set up MN for early-adopters ROI with nothing else? Also, the amount of BTCT premine is a bit too much for me. Hope they have a good round map to address what they will do with premine (dev fund, community giveaway, bounty,...)

The premine was done to accomidate the initial swap of MRO token and also 12 other tokens that we mention in the first few pages of this BTT announcement. You can see all the swapped communities at the bottom of our homepage: https://www.bitcointoken.pw.  we have over 300k community members.

We did a small airdrop also, this seems like a fair way to start the distribution, the team does not hold any funds otherwise, I believe there are 20-40k BTCT in a community fund but we will move forward via donations from the community for further exchanges and development.

Bitcoin Token (BTCT) is a globally distributed decentralized digital currency with no central ruling company. No headquarters, CEOs, or CFOs. BTCT is maintained by the community.

GREAT CHANCE TO PICK UP CHEAP MASTERNODES!!

Somebody placed a giant sell order on https://crex24.com/exchange/BTCT-BTC (https://crex24.com/exchange/BTCT-BTC) at a great price.
Grab this chance to start some masternodes at still very low price and earn BTC daily. 1 masternode earns you about 40 BTCT daily the 1st year so you earn it back in about 100 days. Thank me later  ;)

Check out the website www.bitcointoken.pw (http://www.bitcointoken.pw) for all info. It's easy, either use shared hosted nodes or set up your own masternode for biggest rewards. Besides that, download the wallet and keep it open with at least 1000 BTCT in it for staking rewards. The higher amount in your wallet, the higher the rewards!

Title: EARN $3-$4 CDL BY VOTING

VOTE VOTE VOTE!!

The voting for listing at Coindeal has started. We need EVERYBODY to vote for BTCT to make this happen!!

Steps:
* Start your coindeal account at www.coindeal.com

* Pass (starter) KYC

* Have 100 CDL (coindealtoken) in your account and cast the vote

The voting is from 22-06 to 29-06, you can vote once every 24 hours, so 7 times in  total.

And the best thing is:
You earn about 10 CDL per vote you cast, so at the end of the week you actually earn about $4 in CDL for voting!!!

If needed, the BTCT team can set you up with the initial 100 CDL to be able to vote. You can send the 100 CDL back afterwards,
But keep the rewards!!! BIG GIVEAWAY!!!

Just in case any of you here expect a refund from Altilly. If you don't have all their deposit confirmation emails, they give you nothing. That's a scam.

Altilly Exchange FAKE Refunds, Possible Exit Scam (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5385112.0)
