Title: Best (PoS) Staking Coins for 2020 [Rewards, Staking Process, ROI]
Post by: BitcoinYu on November 28, 2019, 09:10:43 AM
Over the last few years, PoS has gained a lot of popularity in the crypto industry. This democratic approach to block rewards is not only a lot cheaper than mining, but also a lot simpler to set up (a.k.a. no technical knowledge needed).

Since all the hype of Ethereum 2.0 has got people looking into staking as a viable method to earn passive income, I created a blog post to outline the top 5 staking coins for the upcoming year.

In the article, you can see the expected annual rewards for each option, how the staking process works and whether or not these are a good investment (of time and money).

So, if you are looking for a few extra crypto-bucks this year, make sure you give it a look and let me know what you think: https://paybis.com/blog/best-staking-coins/ (https://paybis.com/blog/best-staking-coins/)

Wishing everyone a green day  ;D ;D

Well written and informative article. I didn't knew about these staking coins. I knew about TRON but have not heard about it being a staking coin.
I was surprised to see how simple is it to stake TRON. Ethereum surely would be a great coin to invest in 2020.

I think it is not appropriate to list ETH as one of the most popular PoS coin in 2020 because it has not made its transition yet,
There might be a possibility for it to delay it again just like this month.

Tron is not a POS coin, the ones i am so aware of are Ontology, stratis, neo, pivx, komodo, they are the best on my list because they aren't new projects, many new POS coins are scam projects

Tron is PoS. Rewards are even paid out in Binance. You can check that information here: https://www.binance.com/en/staking/products/fcdf27c9e0a74249baaf2309ecd0cc10 (https://www.binance.com/en/staking/products/fcdf27c9e0a74249baaf2309ecd0cc10)

I don't see any issues in listing ETH as one of the best pos coin of 2020! The istanbul fork is all set to happen in January 2020 through which ETH will migrate to pos from current pow algorithm! There might be some delay, but that's definitely going to happen within the first quarter of 2020 as confirmed by Vitalik in multiple occasions.

To OP - it's an excellently written article! You have captured every possible details which will definitely help newbies to start with staking and create a passive income stream for themselves! Just bookmarked it for future reference!

For me, the best PoS coin/token which can provide the rewards per block and no need to wait for a year. Does it sound like mining? Is it possible for that coin to have a kind of staking? It is also good if you can stake even you are not connected to a network as long as you have some coins on the wallet app and contracted for a certain time schedule.

Of course the best coin staking in my opinion on TRON. Solid team, partnership, and supporting products. so the ROI on TRON increases considerably, and inflation on these coins is really happening widely spread to the public. investors and holders are mostly interested in from China, so there is no doubt.

We'll see in 2020, see the development of ethereum 2.0. might change everything.

~snip~
Along with your list, it would be great if you could also include Minter Network (https://www.minter.network/) because I believe it is one of the best staking coins where a delegator can easily get 6 to 7 percent reward per month based on his/her total stake (based on my experience).

You can check the following links below for further reference:

Staking is not a viable method to earn passive income. At best it's just a way to keep up with the self-inflicted inflation of POS coins. Obviously if you already hold the bags you might as well stake them but to buy coins just for staking is a fool's errand.

I think OP anticipating on the eth migration to POS blockchain that's why he mentioned its inclusion. Yeah it did set for 2020 the only thing we should know if its gonna be implemented. If yes, then its really a good POS blockchain cause many users hold eth even its still on POW blockchain.

OP was putting a big expectation to the ethereum as it will be offering a very good annual return to the stakers. I assume if OP is also seeing how big the daily trade volume in ethereum that makes more sense to put it into the list even if the transition is not yet happened.

I should remind you that of PIVX is a masternode coin but with the help from the MN pool and even with a small amounts of coins and we're able to get the reward too but it looks like PIVX is also available for staking. But that's a dash fork coin.

Binance platform offers it so to those that are looking for a legit way, go to the platform. I think once ETH PoS has been introduced, this is going to be the most valuable staking coin.
Start collecting now your 32 ETH or if you can't, try to look for legit pools that you can contribute with a smaller amount.

I think Binance staking program has less incentives as compared to staking personally as I understand most of the coins that are eligible for staking would only yield less than 10 percent returns per annum!

So I think it would be best to research other promising coins with functional platforms that could possibly give us those returns offered by Binance in less than a quarter!

Nice article.

The best chances for profitable POS holdings are having Tron and Decred. ETH may revolutionize the POS market, but it's still just a proposition.

Neblio reward is too high and IMO this will slowly kill it.

PoS is just a bait for luring people into investing in shitcoins - people think they can make money by staking, but in reality they will be at a loss, because shitcoins constantly lose their value. Bitcoin has ups and downs, but in the long run it keeps growing, but shitcoins had their time in 2017 and now it's gone - and PoS won't fix it. Shitcoins always try to invent some ways of justifying their value, and PoS has been one since the early days.

I guess the best POS coin candidate for 2020 would be Ethereum. If the ETH fork is successfully completed, the ETH mining business can be very profitable.
