I know this may not seem like a lot to many of you here as my account is pretty old. Though moving up does mean a lot to me, and shows that people truly like my pretty niche opinion and posts in the section that I stay in the most P&S -- that's literally the only section that I post in, and will most likely continue to post in forever. Every so often I move over to Bitcointalk discussion, or economics, or services or something along those lines but I'd say 97 percent or so of my posts stay in that one section.

But back to the point here, I'm going to use this thread as a countdown type of thing for me to get to 1000 and move onto legendary.

I hope no one takes this thread as a begging for merit, that's not what this is at all. If I wanted to peg I would only post in sections that I know get a good deal of merit, but I wouldn't love to post there. Which is why I continue to stay in my section, and reward people there as a merit source for posting within the section.

If you'd like to root for me or something along those lines, I'd love that. I truly love being apart of this community, and I can't wait to be here for the years to come.

You're doing a great job in regards to meriting worthy posts as a source, I'm fortunate to have recieved them merits too on multiple occasions for my threads on the boards (P&S). I'm definitely rooting for you, haven't be active as usual on that section so don't know what's going on there but it seems there's quite some number of meriting flowing on that board (as of when I was still active) so achieving your goals won't be an impossible tasks.

I'm also one of those, hoping to achieve the legendary status merit wise although not in a rush as I still got a long way to go (activity wise) but if I'm worthy of such achievement I won't mind accepting it with good faith. Goodluck on your quest. Congratulations in advance.

That's pretty close mate. I can sense that you will achived the required merits to qualify for legendary rank. Though its really hard to achieve but with youre active quality posting I think its just a matter of time before you go there. Anyway, Christmas is coming to town so many members here will probably give out some merits for the community. Giving is sharing. Goodluck to youre goal becoming legendary soon.

I think I'm the only one within my Merit Batch Mates is currently falling behind... Oh well, I still have 3months to earn before I become qualified for the Rank 🤣 Congrats to all especially to those who started at Zero like me who're able to achieve ranks without any hindrances  (🤔 although I had an issue before LoL) Let's continue the walk...

Your merits were over than activity.

That was really good, you can count activity every 2 weeks and can calculation which month you are gonna rank up but for the merits we can't really track them. My target for right now makes my merit earned over my activity after that i would make a new target to Self-Made Legendary.

I only have a limited amount of sMerit but I got you to be 5 closer to being legendary. I would endorse you becoming legendary.

After the merit system is introduced. I thought it will be impossible for me to get into the final rank because it takes 500 more merits to be a legendary member. I thought I will be stuck forever as a Hero Member. After that I stopped and didn't get active here in the forum and come back after almost a year I think. And now, here I am! I am close to being a Legendary member! Thank's to all support I get from this forum, and I will do my best to become a valuable member  :D

I hope for @ squatz1, this can be a good moment and career to reach the Legendary position.
Only need about 63 more Merit to achieve its goals, I'm sure @ squatz1, can achieve it this week, of course.

Congratulations in advance squatz, you comment in almost all the good threads in the politics and society section, and have created a good reputation, as well as contributed to the growth of that board and that's a wonderful feat, you deserve nothing more than to get to legendary rank and you will definitely do so, just time hinderance.

I'm spending more time reading reading posts in PS section recently and noticed you are really active there. Surely, you'll get that 1000^th merit before 2020.

No, not at all. I never considered merit begging such as motivational post. I realized that it's not very easy to achieve on that position after implementation of merit system. There is a lesson for newbies,

"If you think, you can do. And success for you." So everyone have to think that they have to do. If they do then success for them. It's very simple, if someone just think, oh merit earning is very hard and I can't do it. Means they are not encourage to contribute for forum.

However, hope you will help also some newbies with your smerit so that they will more encourage about their contributions.

Welp, I'm sure someone else can get you the remaining 4 merits. I may have accidentally handed the victory to mjglqw, sorry about that.

Nevertheless, it's a great achievement considering how polarizing P&S is and it's not exactly brimming with merits.

Congratulations on reaching Legendary, squatz1.  It's well deserved.  You are by far one of the most rational folks in the P&S section, and your posts are always well thought out.
