Title: HEX, worth it?
Post by: timmmers on November 29, 2019, 09:35:35 PM
Hello, have you heard about upcoming airdrop to all BTC holders? HEX is going to airdrop 10 000HEX tokens for every 1BTC that you hold in your private wallet.
There is a big hype around it, someone say that is a scam, someone that is a legit project with interesting returns.
What are your thoughts about it?  :)

Is this bitcoin hex by Richard Heart? what can you say about this quote on their website?

Quote
HOW CAN HEX MAKE YOU RICH?

Isn't it sketchy already? it requires you to stake for a year and then what's next? it's possible that they will have an exit. And for the airdrop, be wary importing your private keys with such. It's not worth it IMO.

if the airdrop will be sent to your wallet directly then that is no problem,
but if you have to make a deposit BTC to get the airdrop, then it is very risky, whatever the prize, and the conditions.
because once we have deposited our BTC, we don't have full control of our BTC.

This airdrop for BTC holders seem like so quiet, compare with many Bitcoin fork events before like BCH, BTG, etc. I have look through their website and I can say that this is a legit project. All you need to do is just hold BTC in your private wallet. So there is nothing to worry about it.

Now there is a new airdrop for HEX holders, the Pulsechain drop (which HEX is migrating to) and the MAXX Finance free claim aidrop. ETH and MATIC holders can also claim their free MAXX tokens. If you missed HEX, this could be your chance to get in on the next innovation in the DeFi space. The MAXX contract is an upgrade of the original HEX contract and several issues with it have been resolved.

They have this kind of airdrop before but it's already over. Can you provide the link to the airdrop that you are talking about because claiming phase is already ended on the hex website for this old event. I'm not aware that they will do another airdrop with same reward for there new event.

I'm skeptical that this new airdrop is legit because many scammer are using this event to share fraudulent link that will hack user wallet.
