Yep I agree  :) The team behind seems really serious and some come from very high level schools and computer laboratories. By the way their "The Garage" blockchain incubator is another proof that they could give DUNE a very promising future  ;) Let's them a chance to show us what they are capable of!

You can also see that as recently as last week they were found to be dumping their coins even though they had contracts that forbade them from doing that. It turns out that their CEO Fabien Dureuil was selling millions of tokens off on community members and using them to pay off other scams he had from dealing with a shady exchange called ZADDEX. Please do not believe their lies, they will scam you out of your money!

This is the same team that was behind Genevieve Coin, which was a pump and dump scam that lost 99% value. Also they then relaunched the scam under a different brand called OcryptoUnion, which has also seen a massive drop in value. They are now planning to do this same with Dune and want to hype it just to dump it on community members.

They will act like they are truthful and honest but their history shows their truth; do not believe their words, they are only looking for scam exit pump+dump.

Okay now that you vomited all your hate, can you be more constructive?  :)

Have you read their medium posts? Have you gone through their discord channel to speak with their team members?

I invite people to go deeper into the DUNE's ecosystem and talk with their team. Then I'm sure everybody is intelligent enough to have an opinion  ;) Nothing to loose except time. Nobody is saying "GO Go Go buy as much DUNE as possible to make it pump!"... Seriously...  ???

I have nothing to benefit from exposing the facts, but history shows that this team pays people to hype their projects just to dump and exit scam!! I think you are doing that with others on this thread.

As I said, nobody is telling anyone to buy DUNE. Just spend some time to build an own opinion on the project. They are working hard building the DUNE framework for developers to be able to make dapps.

You have things pointed out here that make users search for the authenticity of the project.
And thank you for that.  Without those points, people will not be curious about this project.
I don't think people are so dumb nowadays that they will just to send money without any digging.
Let us see how their developments will turn out here.

Secondly, it seems very strange to me at least, given your supposed good intentions, that you would choose to create an account to post on this thread using an almost identical screen name to the one used by our community manager on Reddit.

Assuming your intentions are good, (and the screen name thing is just an odd coincidence, not a strange tactic to confuse people), please come join our Discord or Telegram. We're 100% confident that if you, or anyone else, take the time to talk with the team, then you'll see nothing other than good intentions and building toward a long-term future for Dune. 

Any exchanges listing Dune??   What value does the token hold?

So far, the only one I know about is Sky.io exchange, but there is not much volumes.

So far, since the Network is really new, token value is only driven by speculation cause there is not use case yet. So no reason to buy some for now, they will be useless  :) But as the dApp will be developped I am sure that the token will begin to be used. Let them a few months to show us what they have planned to deliver!

The event is pretty low-key this time around being the first time for this. The materials are all new, of course, and so this is essentially the test-run. The attendees are of various backgrounds and generally in one of four skill groups; Highly skilled, skilled, medium and beginner, to make it as inclusive as possible!

With respect to use-cases, the first dAPP for Dune, Notarize, will be hitting beta very shortly I believe! It already links well with Metal, our meta-mask like extension :)

Does Bilaxy exchange ask for KYC policy to their users?

Hi HopeNotLate... Indeed they have a multi-tier KYC system for withdrawals. Our community have said that lvl1 is very quick with minimal information required and provides enough daily withdrawal for 90% of users.

Blockchains provide immutable history as one of their first features: nothing written in a block more than a few hours ago can be tampered by anybody. Notarization is an immediate application of such a feature: if you want to prove that you owned a document at a given time, you can just use this feature by storing a fingerprint (hash) of the document in a block (documents are usually too big to be stored, while the fingerprint is only a few bytes and provides cryptographic equivalence). Later, you can prove that you issued the transaction at the given time, showing that you had the document.
For Dune Network, we decided to make it easy to benefit from this feature: we provide two ways to notarize documents on the chain, one for basic users, and another one with higher-throughput for companies.

Hi folks!

Does anyone know if there is any way to get my Dune out of BiHodl..?

Some time back I decided to get some Dune tokens, and - don't remember how, either via official Dune website, or from CMC - was referred to BiHodl exchange. Opened an account, deposited funds, bought some DUNE, then tried to withdraw and has faced a sudden KYC requirement (which was nowhere announced before). As probably everyone in crypto, I don't like KYC, especially when requested by small unknown exchanges with unknown levels of data security, so I decided to postpone this, and just left the coins there for a while.
Few weeks back I finally proceeded with their KYC, to finally get my coins out of there, however my KYC status is still in some "binding" state, and BiHodl still doesn't allow to withdraw Dune, saying I need to proceed with "certifications, such as real names" (very vague and weird sounding phrase btw).

So my question is - is BiHodl a known scam? As it was once one of the main exchanges for Dune, and there are still no scam reports regarding BoHodl, I assume people somehow managed to get their funds out of that place... Would someone share how did they get their coins?

Hi Drays, Ben (community manager) here. Apologies it's taken so long to reply. When dune first launched a couple of small new exchanges were eager to boost their profile by listing us. As we are open-source, any exchange can list our coin without permission. Sadly, as is the case with new exchanges, many of them do not succeed. I've just looked at bihodl for the first time in a long time myself and it seems they are offering sketchy looking cloud mining services. I would have to assume that unless you can manage to get in touch with their support you may have lost your coins sorry to say. I hope this isn't the case and they can offer assistance. Please do let us know how you get on.

Not sure whether my post here facilitated things, or maybe someone from your team bugged them, or maybe its was just coincidental timing, but in fact few days ago (around the same time you posted) BiHodl finally approved my request, and after several additional steps and some more waiting, I was finally able to withdraw my coins (to my surprise, honestly). It looks like they are still legit, just have huge delays.

In any case, if someone still has coins there, I would suggest not to take chances, and withdraw them now, while they are still reacting to requests (though slowly), as you never know which route those small exchanges are going to :)

I participated in the Tezos ICO.
I have just tried to claim Dun a number of times but it kept rejecting. All details entered were correct.
I then put my Tezos ICO public key hash (tz1 address) into the DunScan.
To my surprise DunScan shows the full ammout of my XTZ being transferred to Dune 347 days ago. There have been Dune 4 transactions in total and the total Dun now shows as being about half of what to went to Dune originally.
I have had my XTZ stored untouched in TEZBOX Wallet for over 2 years. No one has access to any of my details.
Can you advise how someone may have claimed my Dun ?

Dune was a fork of Tezos so your keys for one will work on the other after the split.     There was a rule put on the Dune network to remove 10% of your Dune each month if you did not stake it.  (This was to get people active on Dune --I assume)   If you still have your Tezos and Dune on the same private key, I recommend moving Tezos first, then move Dune.

OP and official website need to be updated both are missing the link of block explorer. You should put the link there it is frustrated to browse the whole topic to find out the link to the block explorer. This project badly missing the professional marketing team to get some exposures.

Seems like Dune has died...   the merge with FreeTon didn't appear to go anywhere -- time to just go back and focus on Tezos!

i don't know if their listed partners are still on board. because if they are, this will still be at least thriving in the market. maybe they can't keep up with the fast evolution of crypto projects here. they are being left behind now.

As far as I know, in June-July 2021, the DUNE project will be merged with the Free TON ecosystem. According to the concluded agreement, all validators will join the TON network. I heard that programmers have already implemented two smart contracts on both blockchains and are now working on a website where holders will be able to swap their DUNE tokens to the TON coins at the rate of 50 DUN for 1 TON. This means that DUNE will not die but will transform into another promising coin with a large community.

I thought this wasn't going to happen but I also got a 2nd confirmation that it should happen as you mention in June/July...    Interesting.      I guess we will see how it plays out!
