Post by: MinerP on March 18, 2014, 07:37:41 AM
my r9 270 rigs are undervolted to 1050mv and are hashing at 480kh/s.. Anyone is able to get them steady at 1000mv or lower?

windows 8.1, cgminer 3.1, catalyst 13.12

Nah, 1000 mV is too low for 1120+ Mhz. Then I'm not sure the undervolt works. I suspect the bios says "yes" but gives you the finger when you're not looking...

Yes, that is what I set on my Gigabyte R9-270's with the VBE7 bios editor. However, this is not the value reported by Hwinfo software.

Currently to mine non-scrypt coins where heat, power and component stress aren't such a concern, I set them to 1.15V and overclock to 1.2 Ghz. They obviously respond to the higher voltage, but not so well to lower.
