Title: V.systems (VSYS) Wall Observer Thread [self-mod]
Post by: legendster on December 02, 2019, 01:48:30 AM
For those of you who are new to the term Vsys, it is the latest project from Sunny King, the creator of PoS (https://cointelegraph.com/news/the-history-and-evolution-of-proof-of-stake) consensus mechanism. The original paper for PoS published in 2012 is here (https://decred.org/research/king2012.pdf).

For more details on what Vsys is you can visit the ANN thread here (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5095853.0).  And yes, it was initially called V.Tech and early coverage was published here (https://cointelegraph.com/press-releases/the-father-of-pos-sunny-king-returns-new-project-vee-redefines-blockchain) and many other places.

If you are interested in the new tech of SPoS (https://www.v.systems/static/sposwhitepaper.pdf) and how Vsys is different from the litany of other altcoins, then feel free to visit the website V.Systems (http://V.Systems)

With all that technical stuff set aside, let's get to the point of this thread. The idea behind this thread is basically to be inspired by the Bitcoin WO thread (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=178336.0) thread, but here we will be talking about Vsys.

However, that does not mean discussions would be restricted to Vsys alone, my goal is to analyze the price movements of Vsys based on the overall health of the asset itself and the cryptocurrency market in general.

It is important to remember, that this is a discussion thread and I hereby request technical traders, analysts to join me here so that there is a healthy discussion. As usual, I can be found on the Official Vsys Telegram Chat (https://t.me/VSYSOfficialGroup) if you need to get in touch with me.

Do note, I am the Community Ambassador and my job is to be the bridge between the community (you) and the core team. Project-related business/development decisions are not my call.

As of writing this post, here is a snapshot from Coinmarketcap for Vsys:

Given the state of other altcoins, Vsys has been very stable in maintaining its value.

From the All time high of $0.273952 that was achieved on July 29, 2019, the price is about -81.3% lower. But at the same time, it is 147.1% higher than the all time low of $0.02068113 which was reached earlier in
February of this year.

So overall I think there are chances of growth with further development, but definitely not without some major financial or marketing boost directed towards this project itself. What do you guys think?

VSYS will be listed on Bithumb soon!
There's also a pre-event for celebrating the listing of VSYS on Bithumb, details here: https://cafe.bithumb.com/view/board-contents/1640589

It would be interesting to see how this affects the price movement. As it stands today, Vsys/Usd is at $0.0469 right now.

Thanks for letting us know to watch out for this!

Yeah prices are not controlled by any body. I would like to take the credit if the mini promotions are somehow responsible for that, but they really aren't.
