I want to share my experience whit you and find a solution to my stolen BTC and if someone could help me recover that.

Its a cloud mining and the company adresse its    "  set-mining.com   "

Firstly once you go to theirs web site you ll get to see that you can buy mining machines and those machines to min bitcoins for you. all looks perfectly and i order a machine for 0.5BTC which suppose in one month to give me 0.612BTC back ... i bought this product and 7-8 days was working ... and i transferred 0.01 btc to my wallet and i thought its all find.
Then i bought another machine for 0.5BTC as well hoping it will work, and that one was all good.
Suddenly after 15 days i get a messege that i suppose to pay 0.92BTC like maintenance fee and if i dont pay my account will be disable.
And it was showing like i dont have the right to use this option.

So, i didn't pay the maintenance fee and i send them email and all site which are offering recovering, but everything was worthless.

After few days i log in and i get an notification whit WRONG EMAIL ADDRESSEE and password - which means i cant even log now and i am kicked out by theirs site whit my LOST 1 BTC !!!

Please help me if someone know how can i return my funds or steps that i can do.

Some companies which i contacted they were asking me such a high price for this like 1.6-3.000E and pay in advance which i dont trust them, because again the same thing might happen.

I mean email is wrong that's obvious u can't log in for security reasons

come on, dont just defend them are you one of them as well ?

And now they stole my BTC and Disappear  !

Paying 0.5BTC and getting back 0.612BTC in a month, come on that's impossible. Should have known it was a scam from the start. What's the url of the site ? Also post in a appropriate format as how its stated here :

And chances of you getting your funds back from them im afraid are zero. Sorry for your loss and hope that you know now if something is too good to be true, it most probably isn't

You have been scammed, pure and simple. Have you not heard that 99.99% of these so-called cloud mining programs are actually just scams or ponzi schemes put up to get as much money from their victims? Now, let me be blunt about it that it is already impossible for you to gain back the Bitcoin you lost on that shit program. Just imagine that if ever it is possible for the Bitcoin which scammers and hackers are able to get then Binance could have done it. The thing here is to learn the big lessons here. Never ever join a program which can be just another pyramiding scheme pretending to be legit and a good one.

You should have read before investing. The huge majority of so-called cloud mining sites are simply scam. Most of them are Ponzi schemes (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ponzi_scheme).
From what I read they try to lure you "invest" more and more, for various reasons.
The initial offering was already way too good to be true.
You've got scammed. Sorry.

You should have at least googled for scam "set-mining.com". You would have seen that others were already scammed too, or asked and were told that it's definitely a scam.

Sad to say but the chances of getting back your BTC is zero because the site you invested is totally a scam, did you make any research before you register? because if you did then you should knew that the site was created 2019-08-21 (based on ipinfo) which means they are new and doesn't have any reputation yet in cloud mining also if you notice on their contact page https://set-mining.com/contact.htm the email details was support@mining-server.com which is different from their domain name, doesn't it looks red flag to you? I hope you learn your lesson and never ever scam again like this.

It's not cloud mining. It's a hyip/ponzi site created by scammers to cheat and steal people's money. any cloud mining must prove that it has mining equipment, and cloud mining cannot promise high returns because its business model does not allow them to make high returns. You should know that the mining business is not an easy and very profitable business to the point that promise high returns.

It's unbelievable that there is anyone who defends this hyip/ponzi site, which leads me to think that only the creators of this hyip/ponzi site are posting positive comments.

How many times do people have to get scammed so that it's clear all those cloud mining services who promise guaranteed returns in 30 days are a scam????!!!

Did you at least check before sending money?
a) a so-called mining company that has zero pics or videos of a damn miner
b) "Set-Mining is an industry-leading Bitcoin mining pool" Check the top mining pools, there is none called set miner
c) two months old website
d) Contact address is shared with 300 other companies but none has this name

It's not even a cloud mining in the very first place, just an obvious ponzi website who promises high returns.

And surely, another user(s) will report here that he was scammed after a few days, months or even years, not until they control their own greed. Or even just think twice or thrice will give them the realization that a too good to be true offers are too suspicious.

before investing in bitcoin you have to find out first about investment sites that have good repustations, most cloud mining is a scam, I have often dealt with cloud mining and I have never been able to return my capital even though it's been months, I am very sure you will not get your money back, next time be careful when you want to invest.

The scammers will of course not return the Bitcoin voluntarily.

But there is a possible chance to get it back. Often scammers are not carefully enough when cashing out at an exchange. Between your transaction to the scammers and their potential transactions to an exchange their wallet might have combined the coins with other ones. Assuming they scammed hundreds of people they might make a mistake and we might be able to trace the coins to an exchange address and the exchange might have a bank account number or id. There are  millions of addresses of exchanges known nowadays so this can be matched with forensic analysis, clustering scammers addresses and transaction outputs.
The very smart scammers won't be catched, but many have no deep knowledge about Bitcoin forensics and do something wrong what can reveal their privacy now or in future. I could describe here as well when it's nearly impossible to catch them but don't want to teach scammers reading here... . The more people they scammed the higher is the chance to catch them. Always it depends on your, the scammers and maybe an exchange jurisdiction.

My suggestion:

• Review if this loss can reduce your taxes
• Send me a direct message with the transactions where you transferred 0.5 BTC twice. I feed my forensic tools with it to see if any traces already went to known exchanges. If no outcome this can be repeated, unlikely they don't move the coins earlier or later.
• We can attack the scammers to increase the chances that they reveal their identity unknowingly.
• Report it to police (then you might get something back if others catch the scammers in future)
