We all have dreams for bitcoin that someday we will be able to use this coin freely and no other things to think since its already accepted by the society, and the government already stop holding bitcoins neck and allow it to be use without any policy or regulations, here is my dream this is how it will be organize
1 . BTC will be the primary money all over the world all the currency will be just secondary
2. All the world currency will be exchange to bitcoin slowly until its all illiminated
3. Altcoins will be use for very country and bitcoin as its Superior
In this form bitcoin will be the global currency, no one will control it no regulations, but will penalized who wouluse it in bad intenstions
rules will only apply to it not bitcoin totally,

Sorry to burst your bubble(hehe), but it's really pretty much impossible for bitcoin to have no government regulations. Heck, I can almost guarantee it that more countries are going to ban bitcoin(probably temporarily) once they feel threatened enough by bitcoin. Probably a better and more realistic sort of "dream" would be for the governments to declare bitcoin as legal tender, and to implement sort of "fair" tax laws concerning bitcoin and cryptocurrencies. Yea taxes suck, but let's be real here. They're going to make money off the taxes as much as they can.

I have dreams of bitcoin as well but I think it will be hard to fulfill because there is a lot to change in the world before we see bitcoin replacing fiat currency. Just like having your own internet connection, your own mobile phone, your own personal computer, we all know that others cannot afford it. And before that happens everyone should be supportive of this change so we can easily see that bitcoin will replace fiat currency.

Would be great to randomly get a few k's of Bitcoin on my address, Santa, get on it asap!

I mean, bitcoin can be decentralized even with people paying their taxes. It's really not even connected in whatever way. Bitcoin is a currency for everyone, not only for specifically people that are sort of "anti-government" or anarchistic.

No comment about this statement lol. You can look and feel smart for not paying taxes, well, until the IRS comes knocking on your door.

Indeed they may audit you, but you can easily hide funds as well in undeclared wallets. Merchants could do that too. I see taxation as an uphill battle for governments. Perhaps VAT is doable, but income tax is pretty much voluntary.

You can have two wallets, one declared, one hidden. Use the hidden one for your "foreign" activities, maybe freelancing, trading etc. That's the wallet where you make most of your money, the State unable to trace it back to you. From that wallet you can send small amount to your declared wallet, and pay little tax on that. You use the declared wallet to pay bills, buy food, etc.

The other thing that might work is luxury items tax. Ie. for owning large properties or expensive cars. Since those physical objects they can easily get access to, as long as those are within national borders.

But in the end all i see is a reduction on tax income, because the State does LOSE control, which is the point of Bitcoin and the very reason it came from a cyber anarchist circle in the first place.

Perhaps the solution to a Bitcoin based reality would be along the lines of more privatization and less taxation. Since the State can't reliably tax things anymore, better get rid of it entirely. Of course, people would then need to pay for security, roads, etc directly. It might even be more fair, if you own a car you pay a tax voluntarily, kinda like owning a tv in the UK means you pay a tax for it (So we foreigners could enjoy Monty Python and Doctor Who for free :))

^ I dunno until when we are dreaming about bitcoin going to the main mainstream, we are already approaching ten years celebrating of Bitcoin but so far there is a lot happening just like make bitcoin in bad image. Scamming, Fraudulent, and Money laundering most likely some cases happened. So, the future will be like these. Bitcoin will turn to zero value or bitcoin will lead in all local currencies and it will be used in all aspects as the main currency, just something like that. Nevertheless, in my mind, since bitcoin is decentralized this is impossible to collaborate with the government and accept it as the main currency. Probably, there will be regulations happen on the individual holders in bitcoin and forced to pay taxes.

Impossible if you want bitcoin without rules and can be legal in all countries.
Each country has concerns about cryptocurrency including bitcoin because it is anonymous, so they need to make rules so that bitcoin is not misused.
No one can guarantee if bitcoin will be used for crime, especially if without rules.

ambitious. Governments will never allow that and to make things worst, when Bitcoin shows potential to "disrupt" local reserve currencies, governments

will simply ban or outlaw it. They will criminalize the use and ownership of Bitcoin and they will enforce that with their power and their guns. Most of the

governments are tolerating Bitcoin now, because they cannot stop it, but they will slowly but surely close down all the on ramp and off ramp options

I appreciate your creativity but we need to understand once and for all any crypto currency let it be bitcoin or altcoin cannot be used like fiat and it will be better if we could accept the reality and start focusing on possible things. Crypto can be alternative but not primary money like fiat.

You are right, we should always be realistic with cryptocurrencies, we cannot be greasy with cryptocurrencies, we can hope for the best, but it will not always happen for us.

Legal tender is probably the best solution since this would mean that Bitcoin is just like other kinds of money, and it does not get heavily additionally taxed. As for the ban, I don't think it's likely. A lot of countries have pretty strong democracies, such a ban could lead to protests and anti-governmental feelings along with the growing popularity of Bitcoin would be too bad for such countries. Countries like North Korea can ban Bitcoin, but countries like the US or France cannot do that, because it is too risky for them.
Unfortunately, Bitcoin is currently unable to be #1, the scalability issue is very serious...

I think making bitcoin as a only world currency is impossible but i think making it a currency that work all over the world could easily work.
Bitcoin cannot replace fiat money in my opinion because fiat money was regulated by the government thats why it has a certain value all over the world, in the situation of bitcoin it was really a hard time since it has a very high market value in the market and the government will not going to use this currency that has a anonymous transaction in the internet.

I also dream that we can freely use bitcoin without hesitations and other speculations from the government. I just hope that they must not think bitcoin as a threat but rather a solution to a fast-changing world. We all know how hard it is also to convert our currencies to use bitcoin than our local currencies. However, we shall be open to it and maybe have freedom to use both local and crypto to be fair for everybody.

Not that easy, a sovereign government must take preventative measures so that economic independence is maintained as a form of an independent state. Even if a country is open to cryptocurrency and recognizes bitcoin as a legitimate tool, surely those countries have their own cryptocurrency that they use and can control.

Truly a dream and we'll find it difficult to see your dream into reality. Bitcoin, being the major currency of all won't be allowed by a country unless that country and its government will fully dedicate themselves to it. We are seeing countries that are very supported and welcoming to cryptocurrencies but thinking of that thing is very hard to achieve. Well, yeah who knows what will happen in the future? we don't know and the chance is very slim but no one foresees it.

Bitcoin was created not for the government to support since it opposes our current financial system, too bad we can't do nothing about it. Still we are all under a government that handles all the premises within their territory, we can't freely have what we want without paying taxes. Let's be real here, blockchain is the only thing that government and businesses are running to, not even bitcoin or other cryptocurrency. Even millions of people will support bitcoin still government has the final jurisdiction about it but it's most like a negative from them.

For now, bitcoin may seem hopeless becoming a major currency seeing most of the governments do not want to legalize bitcoin but i have high hopes that bitcoin in the future will be a legal currency as an another option for fiat. Achieving your dream is possible but I think it is much better to  achieve first a massive adoption for the Bitcoin.

There is a saying that, "In dreams, anything is possible".
Though, bitcoin as main currency of every country is hard to implement because there is already an existing currency of all country that is more accessible and easy to handle even if you don't have mobile phones. And not all countries are in favor of bitcoin, some were banning it and thought that btc is a threat for them.

My dream for Bitcoin is for its to user stop being malicious. Jeez, all over the forum, there's attempt to scams, exploits, and spams to earn what they want. People making bunch of absurd services like pilot posting and even wanting to rent users FB account to advertise. There's even people copy-pasting news article and siting the site to gain more post which is absurd (A lot of one-liner people do this).

But we are living in reality. I think as long as there's money involve, people would want to up others for the sake of profit.

You can not think that bitcoin will be "free usage" because it's just like fiat.
If there would be unlimited usages all resources would be gone by now.

By resources i mean, limited amount of addresses for instance, limited amount of food.
Fiat controls the amount a person can take from the stores.

My dream for bitcoin is simple. I want to have still a chance to earn more bitcoin, and I want to use bitcoin for many things, no matter if the government is not giving their statement about bitcoin. I want to see and following the bitcoin journey for a long time. I don't want to dream too far about bitcoin because I realize that it will need a long time to see bitcoin will be used as the currency and the government will allow bitcoin as the payment option. As long as we can still use bitcoin without any problem, I think that is enough for me because the time will answer all of our dreams.

I also wish the same thing because it's making things difficult for bitcoin for example the adoption. Politicians think that bitcoin isn't good for their country because of the news that they read or on what they have heard about it. I hope those people who ruins the reputation of bitcoin will realize that it is one of the reason why people nowadays doesn't want to adopt or accept bitcoin. That dream of yours would be great, but that's too far from reality or even happening. I also aim for Bitcoin to achieve more and to be widely accepted but the idea that it will be a primary currency while fiat would be second seems to be less possible. A country wouldn't agree to let their their own currency to be an alternative on their own country. Plus not all government won't agree to use a decentralized currency as their main currency because they cannot control it.

I am not against it but I just think that's too far from reality.

I am not saying that your dream is not happening. This is just my opinion and I know that we have our own.

What you are asking for is not actually possible. At least with bitcoin. Imagine what is going to happen when bitcoin becomes the primary currency of the whole world. Will the network be able to handle all those millions of transactions per second? What about the network fee. It is going to skyrocket and confirmations are going to become really really slow. Also, we won't be replacing fiat currency so easily. It is going to take few more decades.

There's nothing wrong with dreaming of things like that. I have the same dream for Bitcoin as well. As Bitcoin lovers, we are always hoping for the best. However, we should also not expect too much for now because there are still lots of things that we have to consider before Bitcoin and other altcoins reach complete success. Dreaming good things for crypto is also thinking about a better future with it. Let's just continue to support it and let's just be positive towards it.

The picture has been ridiculous. However, it does not seem that the future will match the market.So far, no one can predict the exact future of Bitcoin. I think it is not possible to say the exact future value of Bitcoin.

Well, mine is different, I do not totally consider letting go of the government because basically cryptocurrency being developed is having a characteristic of being decentralized but I truly believe that the system for regulation should still be imposed when it comes to cryptocurrency being adopted by masses in the entire country. I know that Governments have their fault especially when they are being linked to corruptions but with discipline, people and government could be as one united by cryptocurrency, with good regulation and harmony.

Most of us here dream about this too cause who would not want to see bitcoin getting recognized and regulated all over the world. We are knowledgeable enough to make an assumption that it would help world's economy and that pushes us to want more things for bitcoin. I have big dream with bitcoin where seeing with higher price and above how bitcoin have raise very expensive price about last 2017, I hope bitcoin can raise with higher price minimum touch $30k where giving space for altcoin back again with their position on higher rpice, without bitcoin can back with $30k little chance with altcoin go back to higher price too.

I think, to achieve that. bitcoin must have an identity rule. State rules are about security and protect their people from crime including the financial system. while bitcoin doesn't have that rule. bitcoin is free, bitcoin is very personal. if at any time bitcoin has an identity for ownership. I think all these wishes will come true. because today the problem of bitcoin is about the use that has no identity and is not tracked for any activity. Just a few advancement in technology bitcoin could be implemented in the country, but i thunk fiat money would still be around because the government need something that they would regulate they cannot regulate bitcoin since it is decentralized.

How FIAT money gone or why you think it will be replace by cryptocurrency? Bitcoin used in the global but it's not consider as global currency. Because still a lot of countries did not adopt it. The way I see it, the government are not going to adopt Bitcoin, that's never going to happen, but they might set rules that govern the use of Bitcoin in every country so that it wouldn't be misused.

What the government is going to do is that they are going to create their own cryptocurrency that will be used respectively in their countries, but these currencies are not going to replace the fiat we are using, they are only going to be there for people that are interested in making use of them and also to make transactions fast.

We all really dreamed that bitcoin will be legalized all over the country and it will become a good use a0ll over the world that everybody will start to accept blockchain technology and bitcoin as a payment or an exchange of good, so we didn't need to convert all of our crypto into fiat and vice versa.

I have so much dream with regard to bitcoin or ina cryptocurrency to be exact. I hope that bitcoin will be known all over the world and be legalized in every country that may even use wherever we are. I also hope that the world will adopt soon in terms of bitcoin as payment method all around the world, for example, buying any gadgets and stuffs you want using your own bitcoin. It is actually way faster than using fiat when we are paying but in bitcoin you are just typing the value and get the address of the store and that should do it, you can now go home with the stuff you bought.

Your dream is what most here also do, but is not advisable to happen. This point has already been atated here in the forum, and while it may sound good for the market demand for Bitcoin, it's not that good of a system for the community itself. Replacing fiat with unidentifiable currency (anonimity), makes it hard to collect taxes (which is used to implement laws and bring peace/order), which would crash the government, living on a society of either organized peaceful communities, or total chaos.

I think it will be difficult if bitcoin will become the primary currency in the world and make fiat currency as the second currency, because bitcoin is volatile so it is not easy to become a world currency. Maybe if used to do business as an investment and trade the government can still accept it. But apart from that it will be difficult.The most important thing for me now is that bitcoin still used for business so that it can still earn income in crypto.

We have many hopes in bitcoin that in the future it will widely be used. In my view, I hope there are numerous of stores that bitcoin will be accepted of. That as of this state lack of adoption, but we still have a high hopes it can happen. So I think as time go through hopefully more users could attain btc and it would legalize by the government.

I think your dream will be difficult to realize. the government will not be possible to make the national currency the second currency after bitcoin. and there's no way the government will legalize bitcoin without rules and regulations.
and I think our society is also not ready to use crypto as a currency and payment instrument. So far I only use crypto as an investment tool. so I think making cryptocurrency as a major currency and replacing fiat money is too high a dream.

And people do really need the guidance of the government. I wonder what will happen in the future if there will be no banking institution, it will decrease the jobs available for the people. In such a case that they need to find jobs in cryptocurrency which is quite hard if they are focused on regulating fiat money especially those that are tangible. For me, we need to balance cryptocurrency and fiats, not literally to transition crypto as a replacement to fiats in which in the first place fuelled our economy.

who know ? what if they changed thier minds in the future  ?  but i dont believe that banking will vanished  . if bitcoin replaces fiats bitcoin banks will also appear   . if bitcoin is dominating , bitcoin jobs will also be available for all of us  but at the end of the day all of these were still a dream for now  . i also believe that bitcoin and fiats will be working together and helping each other , not to compete or fight for each other and governments are going to be in the middle  .

I doubt that Banks will vanished too, for sure that once our government already regulated and legalize Bitcoin for sure that banks will adopt the crypto payments, bank transfers etc, for sure they will add this as one of their additional source of income as this way they can be able to help crypto industry as well as have an additional income flow in their business.

As Bitcoin is decentralized government will not accept bitcoin . It's just a dream . If government gonna accept then its good. As it is difficult  to find frauds using bitcoin and trace it . It is not that easy to find in records.

If government accept it then its a dream come true , so that bitcoin can be used properly .ATMs , Banks , accept as mode of payment. Government should  legalize.

Actually your dream for bitcoin is very difficult to realize seeing the reality of the current conditions. We must be realistic
in undergoing this crypto world, so as not to stress seeing reality. I think dreams for bitcoin starts from simple and realistic
as to expect the price of bitcoin to return to $ 20,000. After that is achieved, it can increase your dreams or our desire for bitcoin.

I do can say that I agree that I don’t see those dreams to be realized anytime soon considering the current state of the market of Bitcoin. Furthermore, going back to $20000 would take years and I would prefer for it to slowly increase its price since it is more healthy and the resistance would be built through time since if the price would surge with such a little amount of time then the resistance would be stretch thinner hence allowing a major dump of price as what would naturally follow.

For the dream of Bitcoin as the most important currency to come true, education of people is the most important. I believe that if this goal is not achieved within a decade or two. Our children will definitely use Bitcoin in everyday life. Teaching children about cryptocurrencies is a great way to fulfill this dream.

I don't want to sound pessimistic but common sense rules my thinking but point number two which is
I will not agree on this I cannot think how this things can be achieved there are people who will have a hard time how to trade and there are remote places that will have a hard time transacting with Cryptocurrency.

honestly, I want all that to happen, it's just that thinking that bitcoin will become the world's currency is quite difficult. One of the big contradictions of the government is that it is forbidden to use bitcoin as a transaction tool because it would disturb Fiat.
however, I also have a dream for bitcoin. I want lots of offline jobs that pay using bitcoin or another cryptocurrency, but it's quite difficult to find now.

What a great statement from a newbie or just a spammer dummy account to make a FUD. Bitcoin is a reliable alternative payment and decentralize and we don't need a bank to make a transaction.

And it just depend on the value if some whale make a dump or bought a lot in a high price. So we don't really know what will haplen in the future and the value of BTC is still in bullish zone, there is a possibility that it could rise the value by this month.

Bitcoin is a currency that has a good decentralized level, which is not tied to institutions. maybe the price is what makes some people talk that bitcoin is a failure because it makes some people lose. but for me, bitcoin has a future because of its nature and for the price issue so far there are still people who benefit from it

Well, i can't blame you if you have experienced losses in the past because you never do your own research when investing in bitcoin and you almost all of your money that you invested on it because you buy bitcoin during its peak which is the $20,000. Now, you are here pushing your own beliefs that it will go down and might lost forever but you still haven't learned from your past because you still don't know how the bitcoin market works. Your dream will become reality in the future as the chances is very big. In my case, I have no deep expectation about bitcoin and crypto currencies as I know already that they will not fade and they will continue to dominate the fiat in the future.

What I am expecting for crypto currencies is to become a user friendly someday in which every person around the planet can easily use it and do the transaction smoothly especially those people that are very poor and illiterate then the government will accept it freely without strict regulations.

I believe in this with everything in life though not just bitcoin and finance. Total freedom to do as you wish so long as you hurt no one in doing so. No longer controlled by bs laws created by people that want to tell you what to do and not allow you to be free. Banning and censorship should be dead and almost everything made legal. I believe in the future we will see this and be more and more free to do as we want since massive corporations would step in if the government got out of hand. I don't really believe that we would have a central authority and that it will be shared. Of coarse respect and education is a must and hopefully, with that much freedom people will behave and not get into trouble since they are not as restrained. Socialism is a nice word for communism and capitalism creates slave exploitation. Liberalism is the way to go and the way crypto is going. To hell with a central authority and other controlling forces. Bitcoin is ours.

States can ban bitcoin. But does that really kill Bitcoin? Let me tell you something. Bad things can happen if the big states agree and decide to ban Bitcoin. People who own Bitcoin don't get dollars! Trading is done only through bitcoin. Bitcoin owners do not turn to paper money. Perhaps only some institutions that accept Bitcoin will emerge. Then the bigger companies ... then the states.

Which states? A stateless society can be formed. The state's guarantor power over money no longer exists. There's only math.

Regarding global currencies, I am not sure that BTC will be the primary, because each country has its own economic independence in managing its official currency. Maybe it will only be the second choice.

My dream for bitcoin might not be that different from most of the people in this forum, I have a dream that bitcoin will
can return to the price of $ 20,000. Which can cover all the losses I experienced. Because frankly the current market
conditions are very annoying because it is very difficult to earn profits if market conditions do not rise. Maybe also my

Faith and hope are getting in our way. We should not consider it when we are investing. Those successful investors know know when they are right and when they are wrong. The using of money fiat just will be used for its country, you won't be able to use dollar for an example to buy anything in your country. But, I'm sure if bitcoin can do it, as long as the merchant has know bitcoin and he get interested to bitcoin the chance is widely open. They can accept bitcoin as an alternative payment system and you can use bitcoin for it. Because when the merchant need to exchange bitcoin to money fiat he can do it easily but they can find a hard way when they use dollar and they need to change it, maybe it will take several times/day to find money exchange such as western union and etc.

My dream for bitcoin is that I hope as time passes by the market itself will recover as it experienced a downfall. It's great to have lofty dreams but I have to say your Bitcoin Manifesto for the Future needs a good tweak here and there. We need some regulations regarding Bitcoin, in order to make it legal for institutional money to come in, without that, it would be not attractive to this kind of capitalization and if we want it to moon our bags, we need this necessary 'evil'.
Another thing is, we need to change the way we view governance and also both our political and economic systems need to change in order to welcome a more decentralized monetary atmosphere.
We also need to become more civilized as entities as well. It seems like my dream has been fulfilled, to have 1 BTC even have more than my small trading results, and there are still many dreams that I want to do to my family, as well as my friends, to open a cafe and a restaurant with an eye theme Crypto money, and can accept payments in Cryptocurrency, and that is still constrained by licensing in my country, which until now has not been able to accept payments like digital currencies.

Almost everyone here, including me, would love to see Bitcoin become a primary currency. But, if you look at it you would see that there is no chance for such a thing to happen. Bitcoin is a decentralized currency and due to that there is country or government that can own it. The world prefers a centralized currency like dollar, Euro, pounds, etc. Not being centralized automatically disqualifies it.

I’m guessing that countries will just create their own cryptocurrency, and I have heard of countries with such plans and I am sure all such cryptocurrencies are just another altcoins and nothing more. Me as well, it could make bitcoin market very active and also, whales can hardly manipulate the market. Agreed, they will never do that, not unless bitcoin community will agree with the terms and conditions that the government might create, and if we will accept a higher taxes that they will give and will cut in every transactions that we will made. We  all want bitcoin to go internationally and be accepted all over the world. I hope that it could be too, without any problems.

Definitely, when bitcoin is beginning to swallow the entire country, that is the time when Government will do such acts to prohibit or somehow, put their powers to restrict it because their current system could potentially be compromised. But in the first place, it doesn't mean that government isn't allowing bitcoin and cryptocurrency to be used, because right now, there are countries that allows people to transfer their funds directly from bank to their wallet using various local exchanges available. In short, unless it didn't affect the system we have, it is still reasonable to allow cryptocurrency because it is a technology, and technology aims to make peoples live even better.

I do not completely agree with your point, you are true to this that governments will not allow this to grow as it is a threat to them, the decentralized nature of this market is not digestible by the authorities. But I am of the opinion that as the trend of this market is increasing day by day, this can force the governments to accept it as a legal currency.
