On October 20, 2019 the revolution artist COCKSMUGGLA69 presented his masterpiece (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5193860.msg52814194#msg52814194), Bitcointalk Deity, on Bitcointalk 10th anniversary art contest.

COCKSMUGGLA69's art has since been copied, mimicked, and replicated by other sell-out artists such as Maurizio Cattelan who recently sold 2 bananas taped to a wall with duct tape for 120,000 dollars each (https://nypost.com/2019/12/05/this-120k-banana-is-just-one-of-the-ludicrous-things-for-sale-at-art-basel/) at Art Basel showing that banana art prices right now are HOT.  Clearly COCKSMUGGLA69 is the original controversial banana artist and this piece has never been on the mercado before. This is rare opportunity to buy original banana art instead of imitator. This piece is also nicely aged. Like fine red wine.

It is important to note that the art does not look like it did in those photographs. Below is photo of artwork in its current state. This is believed to make artwork more valuable because is better more aged vintage than imitation art pieces

The razor blades, satori coin, tupperware, and silk road blotter paper have been removed for storage while this piece finds its permanent home. However the piece WILL ship with all the parts. Some assembly will be required by buyer. (satori coin is unfunded). Also I smoked the ganja which would not be ship anyways. Artist is happy to consult buyer in selection of appropriate piece of ganja for artwork.

Could you please elaborate? If I am not mistaken, a satori coin can be either funded or redeemed.


BTW... am I bidding on the artwork, in the "current state", as shown in the photo? Will you care to preserve the artwork at the exact state, as shown in the photo, till the auction ends?

In the Art Basel case, the buyer got the artwork at the exact state at the moment of purchase (and then it was up to the buyer to preserve the artwork).

Are you willing to post every day (till the auction ends), a photo of the artwork, next to a piece of paper with your username and a current date newspaper frontpage (just to ensure that artwork is well preserved, and remain in the exact same condition, as stated in OP)?  ;D  :P  8) :D

The satori is redeemed and hologram is torn. Sorry I did not know the correct word for redeemed but now I do.

I will provide an updated photo of the artwork 24 hours before bidding ends.

The sculpture's current state is that it was placed in ziploc bag on 10/22/2019 and is being stored in place that is dark and about 20 degrees celsius.
You wouldn't want someone to freeze bottle of Musigny Grand Cru to "preserve" it and it is the same with this piece of artwork.

 If shipping to a very hot climate, I can ship in styrofoam box with ice packs (packaging/handling is complimentary but buyer must cover cost of slightly larger package). I will not take any additional steps to preserve it. I am very experienced at packaging fragile things and have successfully shipped many hatching chicken eggs so it is not likely that the sculpture will be damaged in transit and I will refund if it is.

In which part of the world the artwork is located? (i.e. it will be dispatched from).

fresh fruits (Perishable goods in general such as fresh fruits, vegetables, meats and dairy products ) are usually on the "Prohibited and Restricted Lists" according to import laws in many countries. Not to mention razor blades, and the other green "grass" stuff inside the Tupperware (part of the artworks decor).

How will you declare the contents of the parcel in the customs declaration form? (i.e. "an artwork - some assembly needed"?)  :D

Will you provide a CoA that will certify that the contents are part of an artwork & also ensures that the buyer is not responsible if parts (or the whole artwork) gets confiscated due to hazardous contents materials (or improper packaging leading to spoils)?

Yes.

This artwork is not possible to replicate so I think a CoA is not necessary.

If you check IATA guidelines, you will read that it is ok to ship "Environmental samples (including food and water samples), which are not considered to pose a significant risk of infection ...".
Services like UPS deliver non-hazardous biologic samples all the time and will deliver sculpture no problem. Other arrangements for delivery of the artwork can be made if necessary.

The buyer has the responsibility to ensure that they can receive non-hazardous art they bought on the internet in their country. If you can not receive razor blades or blotter paper or tupper ware or sex toys (sorry, Saudi Arabia) or bitcoin poker chips or decomposing bananas or ziploc bags then this auction not for you. Thank you for your question. I cannot know all laws worldwide and I have updated terms of the auction.

Other announcement: the ganja is not included in the artwork because it caught fire. I wouldnt be able to mail it per forum rules anyways. I will help the buyer select a piece of ganja that is a good replacement for the original one.

This guy knows how it is. This banana art is more original than ALL the other banana art on the market. Ebay is FLOODED with imitators and this one is original, timestamped to be provably made for artistic endeavors, and not made by a punter.

The tupperware is included but is not in photo because artwork is currently in ziploc bag storage. I wish I could include ganja but is against forum rules to sell ganja to most places.

"Robbed" is overstatement for how I felt. It is clear from looking at votes on forum poll that scoring was not always based on artistic merit and judging art stupid anyways.

 My goal for this artwork was to give people same sensation I got when I first learned about bitcoin and bitcointalk. For me that sensation was what the fuck is this? and other things I dont have words to describe. I think my sculpture gives people that sensation so it was success and is proved by the fact that Maurizio Cattelan copied my artwork over a month later.

This is gotta be related to what Mark Cuban has said about he rather have bananas than owning crypto.
