For December 31, 2019, we got a different price with each method, $10,600 and $8780 respectively.
For January 31 to February 2020. We got a price target of $21,000 and $20,200 respectively, a relatively insignificant difference.
The price should fall between $180,000 and $380,000 in December 31, 2024.

no one knows the future and no predictions are 100% accurate, but I hope the prediction you mentioned is true and can come true, I have long been in the world of forex trading, so I have a little knowledge of the state of the market, while the bitcoin market character is very difficult to predict, when I use some technical analysis, false signals often occur, the bitcoin market often makes unexpected moves.

i am wondering what "trend-line" prediction is predicting $10.6k for this month?
in any case i don't see any major rises in the remaining days of this year. as for next year, it must be the rally year and the start of the next bubble. so predicting $20k by the end of the year is a very low price in my opinion. as we have halving and a lot of other factors and also the fact that last bubble will have happened 3 years ago, it will be time for the next bubble. with the current accumulation the rises should already be happening in first quarter of 2020 and ATH may be reached mid year. and the next bubble's ATH simply can't take till 2024 (7 years)!

You are assuming that nothing has changed and that nothing will change. I think that is highly unlikely, and thus so is your prediction.

Same with other members here because no one totally knows what will gonna happen in the future especially in the price of bitcoin. In just a few seconds we might see a good pump or big dump and even some people or professionals traders have their predictions still there is no assurance that it can happen. If ever bitcoin hit again the 21,000$ in the year 2020 it will be the new all-time high price of bitcoin and let's see if this table will really come true.

Well it's okay to have prediction but let's go for those experts opinion and of course don't be too hype as nothing permanent and Bitcoin as well as other crypto are all unpredictable, so let's keep our fund safe always and let's just invest always what we can afford to lose and always check the news what's happening in the crypto world, as anything can be happen anytime at any reason, so keep updated always.

This is the toughest job ever as it would be incorrect even if we predict as none of the predictions have been proving worthy as market is playing it's on tantrums of sudden limited pump and quick dump as well. I think the bitcoin will trend at a decent value and cross $10,000 if there are no dirty tactics by traders or whales as we have been into bearish and correction phase for long enough I think 2020 will bring change and new hopes.

This came from an expert? then who's that expert you've asked for this prediction? that prediction for early January to February of 2020 is high. He's expecting too much that before the halving that more than the all time high will be met but that's quite high to speculate.

There will be some unexpected events that might come even at the end of 2020. If the factors will be the same just like on 2017 and for this year, it's possible that we can meet that price and investors sentiment would follow bitcoin through institutional announcements and adoption. I can't say that the prediction by the end of year 2020 is impossible but no one knows. Just like what everybody expected at the beginning of 2018, we failed our own expectations during that run.

These days i tend not to predict the market of bitcoin because it seems it has its own path no one knows about. These days even good news to its adoption and development does not bring about any rise in the price of bitcoin. I guess it's high time we all learnt buy and hold it for as long as it hits our profits target.

I'm no expert here, but saying that the price will go above $10,000 at the end of the year? We can't even get over $8000, although we have 20++ days to accomplished this 5 digit mark, but I doubt we can get to it. 6 digit mark in 2024? Damn, we should start preparing today and be a bagholder,  ;D

Seriously though, we all know that everything still falls on supply and demand. So we will have to see what the future holds, we're still making wild educated guesses here.

Predicting the price of BTC is a very difficult task. because in my opinion BTC is being manipulated and its price can rise and fall suddenly, it's best not to anticipate and keep updating it every day.

Well, everything is possible in cryptospace, and every predictions are welcome, may it be realistic or not, everything is just possible.
Remember how Bitcoin rose almost 40% gain in just 24hrs? before It falls back at $7,000 level.
$10,000 before the year ends is somehow very possible, considering how everyone is accumulating while getting closer to the Bitcoin halving.

I will save your bitcoin prediction price and waiting will be true with your claimed with bitcoin or not, I think you are giving very expensive price of bitcoin with price now still down, reach above $10k still available for bitcoin next year but I can't trust if bitcoin can go on to higher price to $180,000-$380,000 because is hard with bitcoin price today.

It is too far to predict prices as one would expect everyone to be free to speculate, but I can't predict from year to year, 2020-2024, nobody knows how that will happen and I just hope ATH will happen soon, let the experts analyze it themselves, but we Don't be influenced by any FUD news that is important for us to be positive in the future.

bitcoin is one of the first cryptocurrency that is very famous after reaching the highest price between $ 20k at the end of 2017, then bitcoin experienced bearish in 2018 which made some bitcoin investors frustrated and they expect bitcoin prices to recover.

I remember seeing some well known bitcoin advocate last year predict on CNBC that bitcoin would hit 20,000.00 gain by January 2019 🤣🤣🤣🤣

You can speculate about btc movements and have your own price indiactors for different periods based on some signals or technical analysis but in reality these predictions are accurate or not nobody could give assurance relating to this as crypto market is too volatile that prices fluctuates within few minutes also.So we cant say what will happen to btc prices whether they go beyond $10k by end of december or stay below $8000.Next year positive growth signs indicate $12-$15k by the mid with btc halving so hoping for the best.

We must respect what they have predicted including great people who are already famous and have the expertise to predict that bitcoin will reach fantastic prices in 2020 and beyond.
I think it will be my motivation to continue to hold and make bitcoin savings to wait for the highest price, because bitcoin is difficult to predict but bitcoin can reverse the situation in a short time and the safest way for me is to make long-term investments to avoid worries because bitcoin is difficult to guess, but I believe that bitcoin 2020 will reach the highest price and furthermore I hope bitcoin will continue to increase according to everyone's predictions.

Not to break on being bullish on here but that 2024 prediction is way too unrealistic to consider.Reaching that amount does signify full adoption globally before we do able to get that level.

I think, in 2020, with institutional investors continuing to buy into Bitcoin and popular services continuing to add Bitcoin integration making it easier and easier for anyone to invest in Bitcoin using the apps they already use. Hopefully by 2020 Bitcoin will have a robust scaling solution in place that will allow it to be used regularly at a mass scale as a payment platform. After halvening I expect a price between $15,000 - $20,000. In 2024 further mass adoption of Bitcoin continues. It starts becoming a mainstream way to pay for things on the internet. the fourth block reward halving occurs which boosts the price. i expect a price between $120,000-$160,000.

It wouldn't be realistic to see all the way the price is going up where people are just going to get rich all the way here. There is got to be a way for some to lose otherwise we can't see any one going to ride a 2nd hand Toyota Wigo. $50,000/BTC isn't realistic, bitcointalk.org would be a dreamland when it reaches $180,000 per BTC.

I don't doubt these price pedictions are possible, but without seeing a chart of how this would happen, I wouldn't put my money on it so to speak.
When we only have roughly 9 years worth of price data, predicting anything from 5 years from now seems ludicrous to me.

I got a feeling that you just posted random bullish numbers and pretend that you know anything about technical analysis so that you just as what's our real opinion on that matter? Don't do this again and just ask what you really want to ask and maybe post your real analysis in the future when you know how to do TA. With the given long timeline you presented it's really hard to picture a long term price when we solely basing it on their price chart since there are a lot of external factors involve that could change the outcome, that's why it's best to have analysis on no long periods over a year since the longer you set your analysis the more inaccurate it can be, you can look at previous predictions/analysis here in the forum and you will see that they most long term predictions are wrong.

if the historical linear regression continues on its current path, that's approximately where it will be, yes.

however, there are two major caveats:
1. chances are that the actual price will vary wildly from where the linear regression is. we could be significantly above or below the trend line when december 2020 or 2024 rolls around.
2. past performance doesn't guarantee future results. the historical linear regression may alter significantly over time.

I think you just put what you want to see on what price Bitcoin should take, and I am not seeing any analysis base that can have solid evidence that this can be a sure prediction,

Right now we are sitting on $ 7,554.43 USD right now and I don't see any major spike that would make the price erupt so much until the end of this year, but at least you had a positive approach with Bitcoin I think that is lacking with many Bitcoin holders right now the positive mind that Bitcoin will surely go in that price someday attitude.

It is hard to predict bitcoin price in the future. Back in 2017, many expected to see btc at $20k or $30k by now which isn't the case..
The halving is the major event in 2020 which indeed can make the price jump significantly but +$180k.. Well i hope so ;D

the only way that price could be at $180,000-$380,000 by December 31 2024 is that if price goes up to $700k first and then that bubble bursts leading to a crash of 74%-45% which seems like a reasonable amount of drop considering the previous bubbles ended this way. but the thing is that since $700k is closer to $1million we may see a gigantic adoption rise to even reach mass adoption in which case the drop won't be as dramatic.

You got quite a good chart here lol. Hope this predictions are true unfortunately those predictions are contradictory to what we currently have right now. And specially we are closely approaching December 31 and yet bitcoin price is still decreasing and will close to hitting 6k mark. Going back to what you stated, I'd like to highlight the last one, 180,000 $ is totally big and how exactly it would supposed to happened? When hitting back at 10k is tough as today.

I don't expect this extrapolation to hold up over time. We've already had 3 distinct bubble cycles. After another cycle or two (at most) the pattern will become too obvious and the market will front run it. 20k will be possible, with OP chart or not i think a lot of people will have same expectation. But what i use to be my note is maybe timeline that OP mention too short, will need big surprise to pump to that price for now. I agree that bitcoin maybe reach around $8000-$10,000 this month, it may start to climb up in mid-December until December 31st.

There's no assurance for btc price to reach $10k in an accurate value. As of this moment, the price was struggling to recover back to its last spikes. Hopefully in the start of 2020, that's January we will see more progress to come. Many said that the pattern was going to be repeated, but still cannot be concluded due to market resistance.

If your predictions come true I am sure many people on this forum will become millionaires. $ 180,000 is a very large number and I think that bitcoin could not be reached in 2024, $ 40k seems to be a better target.
This is my prediction of the price of bitcoin over timelines.
December 31, 2019 $ 8000 - 8500
December 31, 2020 $ 17000 - 19000
December 31, 2024 $ 35000 - 40000
I think around the end of 2020 bitcoin will have a significant price increase.

In regarding to that all is unpredictable that's why it's better to wait than expect huge since maybe bitcoins now will struggle to raised up since the demand is not totally huge the same on the year 2017 and let's hope that halving will not fail us.

If we mean to come that figure since the halving is nearly coming well provably we can reach that price level but if we take a look on the situation and currently emotions from the traders on the market maybe we can also give a low inputs on the price since it's really hard to tell whether we will go to another $20,000 next year since provably many people still afraid for the dump happened on year 2018.

The price is really unpredictable so I do not believe to the predictions of the other people even if they are popular. Trading is a game of probability and predicting it is really impossible but we can forecast the price using technical analysis. The bitcoin is still in bearish trend but it will end soon if there is a chart pattern where we can see the market reversal. In the year 2017, we saw the bullish market where bitcoin reached its all time high. I think it will happen again because one of the market assumptions are history repeat itself.

These are juicy prediction but i would like to know how you ended up in these valuations as these are ebullient prices that you cannot expect without billions of dollars pouring into the market and taking the BTCitcoin market to new levels and crossing new boundaries, i am not complaining about dreaming about bigger price valuations but before that you have to think about the amount of money you are willing to give for every transaction once it reaches those huge valuations, you need to have some realistic view on that too ;).

We really try to figure out what is on our minds, we know how exactly bitcoin flows and every predictions that comes out, there is 30% that possible to happen. in the past years of bitcoins price there is sureness that the price is going to be lifted and the news and positive will help bitcoin to rise. in the upcoming years all that prediction might happen if all country start to change their minds and use bitcoin.

I think for December 2019 bitcoin can reached with $10k but how to December 2020 where bitcoin have higher price with $20k, I think is not corresponding how bitcoin price today where still down and never wake up with higher price, maybe on 2020 bitcoin can reached only with $12k.

Crossing 5 digit mark by the end of December is highly unlikely in this market. There is no good news to come and the supports doesn't have good volume also. We may see the other predictions true in the future may be.

You are right, current situation 5 digit will never happen on Bitcoin. But I am not sure next year prediction will possible at 2020, So we always actively monitor the Bitcoin because of volatility. I hope good growing will occur at next year starting so we must buy this dip it will be a right time to hold the Bitcoin.

but, I have a slightly different opinion. for the end of this year, it looks like the price of bitcoin will only reach $ 7900 to $ 8500. other than that, for 2020, I think the price of bitcoin will be above the price of $ 13k, and for 2024 it cannot be ascertained, if positive trends continue to come, there is a possibility that prices will be above $ 30k.

Every price prediction is actually guessing, even on a very short period of time. Predicting price a year forward or even longer is impossible. Many are expecting a lot from the halving next year thinking price will go up strongly. That is hard to tell and having in mind the situation we are having on the market now I think the price will stay in current range for a while.

As the chart represent the analysis, I can see a very huge fluctuating market that's really struggling and hard to increase trend. We're still far to see $20k per btc because same pattern will still probably happen next year. I would love to witness some changes of analysis, but in most certain situations we will experience another quick spikes and sudden drop. Bearish and bull trap will likely to be experienced randomly.

it seems they really hope so much of the price of bitcoin in the future, and it will be disappointed when the year arrives. however, in 2024, the price of bitcoin is likely to be in the range of $ 10k to $ 20k for 1 bitcoin.
