The year 2019 came with diverse expectations from everyone. Some persons were of the opinion that the year would be better than the previous year, others had a negative view.
The year 2020 is around the corner and I would like to know what are your expectations as it relates to the market, Crytocurrency projects and the overall health of the industry.

I think that it is unlikely that we will ever see a return to the heady days of 2017. Going forward I expect that cryptocurrency will continue to grow its use case and eventually it will become so compelling that the regulators start to stop fearing it. The future will be led by consumers adopting it, not corporations or regulators, they will only follow when they accept that distributed ledgers have more utility than danger. I don't see any massive systemic bull market and just slow progress based on actual use.

Good question and thanks for asking it. I really think it will boil down to the financial climate of the world . I am watching some key actions on the global scale . Seems like crypto swings up or down by the overall sentiment in fiat markets. Less people trust their governments and the fiat backed by them the better crypto seems to do. Or i will just flip a coin and trade accordingly  :D

As it relates to the value of cryptocurrency, I see bitcoin dominance taking a new shape in 2020 due to the halving of Bitcoin, I also see the ethereum 2.0  project becoming successful which would lead to a substantial increase in the value of ethereum. I see a systematic growth in the market capitalisation and more projects coming into the industry.

2020 will be quite similar as 2019. A tiny bit better.  2019 was better then I expected it will be. It is not over yet so can still get worse to be closer to my expectations.  But I dont believe we will see much changes.

My personal expectations are not too high, clearly there must be a regulator to filter out fraudulent projects.
Then it needs direct action to apply the benefits of altcoin for everyday, not just nonsense to make innovations without being run like a dream.
This will make people interested if only some of the benefits can be felt by many people.

That's a roller coster ride for 2019 actually lots of fuds and shill that confuse the market and the community. I just hoping for next year more good news and development will be achieved. I like the stand where ICO projects should be strictly inspect and give some tough regulations to avoid scamming on some investors. Other than that hope to come that bullish season before.

I'm sure everyone hopes that next year can be even better than this year. In 2020 I am very excited to wait for Bitcoin halving and hope that this event every 4 years can trigger a bullish, skyrocketing crypto like in Bitcoin halving 2016 which triggers crypto in 2017 to reach its ATH.

We can't settle those negative views, they are everywhere especially to those investors that are very disappointed up to this moment. But this year has been great although there's still few weeks left to end this month and year, I've already declared to myself that at least this year became better than the last.

More adoption and the halving effect will create a good result to everyone of us. But mainly this goes for the bitcoin holders, it will require a month up to another year to see how this block reward reduction's positive outcome.

I hope that in 2020 there will be many good projects that will provide maximum benefits whether they want short term or long term. In addition, bitcoin can return to $ 15k to create a green season. And of course I hope that more and more people are involved in the development of this crypto world.

2020 should be better than 2019, when it comes to cryptocurrency, hopefully there will be many shops both physical and online that add cryptocurrency as a payment method as well with a fee or exchange rate not too far from the current market price.
Especially for my country so that fintech activists can start looking into cryptocurrency and consider adopting it.

At the end of every year, people expect the best for the future, even in crypto-world. expect legitimate and real projects to come back like in 2017, so that big coins like BTC and ETH, are needed as crowdfunding. maybe the good news about bitcoin halving and Ethereum 2.0, but I don't think it's significantly affected, and it takes time for the bull run to come. I can only be optimistic, because before 2019 also expected the best and now it is not as expected, and it all actually depends on someone's assumption in looking at something.

Of course many people expect that 2020 will be a profitable year for everyone, even though we don't know what will happen next. But I personally hope that 2020 is better than now as there is good news about the development of coins and maybe like what happened in 2017 that is very beneficial for us all can be repeated again.

This year is a truly an accumulation period to those who want to invest in bitcoin and other cryptocurrency because within the next year I expect huge upward movement on bitcoin price especially after the historic bitcoin halving event I hope the much anticipated massive adoption will started to happen next year again this is just an expectation and no one knows it will really happen but nothing is impossible the most important is we are prepared to any significant events that may happen.    

 I'm hoping for new better projects to start showing up starting from January 2020 and before the year runs out or almost runs out a new ATH or Altcoin season should begin, hopefully, still nothing is certain and nothing is impossible as well.

Honestly its not only altcoin season that can change your life in crypto space, I care more about picking up gems out of thousand crap projects and that is what I am going to keep doing either altcoin season returns in 2020 or Not.

Best outcome would be that btc would keep itself under 9k btc but i am afraid that there will be a rise in price. But if it stays under that, there will be more time to accumulate and i would definitely prefer that.
That would also mean that there would probably be lots of lowcap gem hunting opportunities like in 1014-15

I don't think a lot of people expected 2019 to go the way it did. Honestly, just for bitcoin, we're wsy ahead of expectations. I was thinking of recovery this year but only up to 6k for bitcoin's value. That's why for me, it's been a very good year. I should do the same for next year. Keep my expectations minimal. That way, positive surprises are more likely to happen than disappointments.

Since bear market took over crypto space in 2018 this year have shows few good progress, for both bounty hunters and project investors, still way better than last year 2018 where almost all projects failed

I'd like to see 2020 remain bearish/stable until summer before things start to go up again! That would give me a few more months to make my bags a bit bigger. But to be honest, the past month gives me a bad feeling about the crypto market, I am afraid we will see BTC back to 3k in 2020 and we won't see any ATH for a long, long time, if ever :'(

2019 will end soon and as people say that 2020 is a good year for the cryptoqurrency market and hopefully this will really happen. On the one hand everyone also hopes the best for market price growth again and I personally believe that 2020 is a good start for the crypto market because we have been through 2 bad seasons, such as projects and the cryptoqurrency market.

Its impossible not to see Bitcoin surging after few months in 2020 because by then  Bitcoin will be more scarce and people will keep buying, I have no Bitcoin in holding myself but it Bitcoin hits 3k I will be forced to buy, You don't understand the power of demand and supply it seems

Nothing is impossible in crypto everything can happen and there is no guarantee if 2020 bitcoin price will pump. But all communities hope that in that year bitcoin will touch the new ATH and altcoin price can also go up.

I have no expectations but aims, I want to keep getting solid projects in my portfolio because I believe that new version of most altcoins Will rise and they will do better than the oldy

Christmas soon arrived, I saw a lot of coins that experienced a drift increase. This is very much that is able to the state of this Altcoin.
 I imagined that at the beginning of 2020 became the price that bounced to reach the top line. It will be very good by presenting many investors who are assured of Altcoin to meet its future.

Hopefully everything that is bitter this year will not happen in 2020, even if there is not to be as bad as 2017. And hopefully all markets in cryptocurrency improve and all projects increase profits or overcome all the deficiencies.

my hope is that there will be more adoption and more users of cryptocurrency which will expand in several countries, that is what I expect, because for the increase in crypto prices we don't need to ask again, logically how long investors and large whales hold their funds in the form of BTC and currency other crypto money, I only remember that 20018 and 2019 are already 2 years far more than enough with a downturn, will they wait for next year, I think not, everyone will feel hungry with prices on the exchange, so let's see it soon

I just hope to get as much bitcoin as possible, for the matter of the price of bitcoin I don't expect too much. and also, the less scam projects, if it can happen then the bounty world will be back comfortable to be followed again (legit).

legit projects is all I wished for in 2020, less scam projects in crypto space will make lot of sense for bounty hunters and investors as well, I hope new type of fund raising will be introduce as well, something better than IEO

If you experience on what situation on year 2018 you will conclude that it's bad year for crypto and since that year is fully discouraging since the dump is so hard that I can't even imagine on what is happening at the market at that time and many fuds circulated that it is the end of bitcoins(though it was stated for so many times) but when year 2019 comes since all became pretty much interesting again since it's start pumping and price seems pretty much became stable these days and provably in year 2020 we will see a great things coming in the presence of halving.

I hope that 2020 is a glorious year for the crypto market as in 2017, that that year many people make huge profits both through prize campaigns and investing in crypto. but I believe that 2020 is a good year for the crypto market.

First of all, I got happy when chinese government decided to accept blockchain technogy for their industry last month, which is mean I was thinking that most countries will follow this step and surely it will give good impact to cryptocurrencies market. But it was just my imagine since they just use blockchain and they keep stay to ban/confine cryptocurrency in their country.

If the government of chinese try to adopt cryptocurrencies as a whole then I'll have a prediction that 2020 is the year for massive adoption. So, the price of cryptocurrencies will drastically increase even will pass their ATH three years ago. Especially bitcoin, halving event will push its price to pass its ATH. But now, I just have prediction that in the year a head there is no alteration in crypto market, it will be same such this year IMO.

Probably the same as 2018 and 2019. Nothing happens. That alt season everyone has been waiting? Not gonna happen. I think the opposite is more likely. With Bitcoin near halving, the price is expected to rise, following the trend of previous halving, and when Bitcoin rise, alts most likely drop against BTC, but maybe there's a small chance it will go up against USD.

We can expect to see an increase in the crypto price in 2020, and we are almost to see that will happen soon. I am hoping to see the crypto will grow more than now, and even it will be back to the higher price and still increase because bitcoin halving will impact to the bitcoin price and cryptocurrency itself. I think cryptocurrency will reach another best time in the next years, so we need to be patient and wait for a while and don't make a rush or panic.

Personally, I believe that the market situation will not yet be determined. And the beginning of 2020 will also be without any drastic changes. And the situation on the cryptocurrency market will be the same as in 2019. And I also want to say that the growth of cryptocurrency will occur around the beginning of the summer of 2020.

I based my opinion, on what experts prediction and on the history of the events that are coming, I have a high expectation on what's going to happen in the market, next year is quite different because 2020 is another halving and history proves that halving will have a huge impact in the market, so let's see if history proves us right

in 2020, many people expect strong growth in the cryptocurrency market because, in May 2020, it is expected to reduce rewards for miners by 2 times(It calls Halving). If we look at those years when the same events took place - the price of bitcoin showed a double growth. perhaps this year we will see even stronger growth.

Not only the year 2019 but also the predictions for the previous years were essentially wrong. It may be possible to make shorter predictions in the market, but for long term forecasts the situation is slightly different. For example, we think that next year will be much more positive for Bitcoin, but no one knows exactly what the outcome will be. This is just our hope for next year.

I expect nothing but same scenario in what happend in this 2019. Or maybe I expect for bitcoin and most especially alts to be atleast to rise and be able to bounce back from  an almost a years of being down. As for the projects coming in still plenty of incoming projects are 98% would become a failure or a scam.

Bitcoin through a lot this year and it was like a roller coaster ride. I have learned that I shouldn't expect too much and just go with every market situation. There are lots of upcoming events in the crypto world but I don't expect a huge change. These events would only affect the prices a little but it wouldn't pursue the bull run in the early quarter.

I don't expect anything from 2020 because there are a lot o fb possible that would happen and also it is hurt if your expectations doesn't meet. It is good that there has a surprise but before that you need to be prepared in able to claim your prize if possible.

2020 will be the good time to invest as there is a big chance that the market will turn around especially that we are in bear market this year then there is a big chance that peak season will happen next year maybe in the fourth quarter.

With regards to the project, there is a big chance that the IEO's will continue to dominate the other fund raising techniques and ICO's and STO's will be gone. The demand will surely increase in 2020, not only in bitcoin and other top currencies but to all the new and old currencies.

It is really to put all positive speculations especially when you are living in this kind of market. The volatility it has makes different from what we expect to happen in the future. Even we say that the market will bump for another ATH but deep inside, we don't see any assurance to that. In fact, we do speculation that this year 2019 will be a bullish one but we are out from reality, the market still in the recovery. Only we can do is just to give hope that there is a continuous market adoption, and that's the only thing that could help for its fast recovery.

My expectation for crypto is better growth, higher adoption rate and strict rules and regulations between bounty hunters and bounty projects, bounty hunters are been taken for granted this year like we are the ones begging to be paid, I do hope for crypto to take an unexpected better turn than 2019

All of course hope for good in 2020 and not only in the cryptocurrency market and in the real world everyone will expect goodness about the turn of the year and hope to be better and achieve what he wants.

We across to different perspective and predictions of different people about what would really happen when the year 2020 comes because as many says that when the year 2020 comes the halving will occur and many people will hold coins because many says and predict that after halving the price of coins will start to trigger and goes up so many says that the year 2020 will be better than the past few years. But for me I have a positive view about what would happen after the halving in year 2020, on the first quarter of the month the price of bitcoin and other coins will dump but on the succeeding month the price of bitcoin will pump again so high.

I did not understand what you are trying to say here, regulation between bounty hunters and bounty projects  ::). If you are a bounty hunter promoting scam projects it is time to get a warning or get tagged for promoting these scam projects, how come the bounty hunters regulate these projects  :P.
In the US you are not allowed to invest in any projects and i think it was a right decision by the government because of the insane amount of scammers in the market.

Yea, everyone is expecting a good result in the future not only in 2020 but also for the upcoming years. Cryptocurrency is one of the reason why there is so much good and bad things happening to them. Despite of all on that we still continue to support it because we believe that there is always a change coming.

Indeed, there's always hope accompanied with our investment, we do believe that things will happen in the right time so we continue to invest and work with every opportunities that we can get from this business, there's no assurance when things will happen but we still continue being positive and we are looking forward for the results that we are waiting to provide by this industry.

2019 feels very long, nothing is so surprising, and not much better than 2018, it's entirely based on my personal experience. However, there are quite a number of good projects that provide benefits, at least enough to meet the needs to date, it's just not much more like in 2017. Everything has a certain season right? Likewise, with cryptocurrency, we must always be grateful for every opportunity that exists, do not complain much because there is not as much profit as it can get.
I really hope that 2020 will provide a significant change, the halving moment is highly anticipated, although there is no significant movement yet. Hopefully, our hopes can all come true, and we can be more patient and adapt to this situation.

That's one of the things that we believe that's why we still continue to hodl our cryptocurrency expecting that there will be a chance to change in the coming future. It's unfortunate that you feel that way. The current crypto market got a lot of people feeling that way. If there's one thing I've learnt while being in this space and with this community for the past 3 years is that prices tend increase when you least expect them to and then it'll be too late to catch the train. It's disheartening to to always check charts and prices and seeing the same thing or worse. So I'll suggest you take a step back and just relax and let the market take it's course. I have a good feeling about 2020.

I expected  big pump in bitcoin and USA allow BTC and i believe Once upon a time this is possible not Only next year any time this think is happen.This is my exception    ::)        

It is natural that until now there is still an opinion and a very negative view, because the waiting period which is quite long does not also occur. but we must also realistically respond to this, our goal is to follow crypto because we want to see positive movements on all fronts. so I also have to be optimistic that the heyday will return to growth and excite crypto. We have waited a long time for us to be sure that there will be a change in 2020.

If BTC was a bit higher now and the alt market not so dire, I'd probably have a rosier expectation for 2020. As it is now, I expect BTC to follow LTC's halvening pattern, meaning any boost in price will be priced in earlier than expected ... afterwards expect a fall. And as for alts... who knows... I'd like to think it can't be as bad as the past two years have been.

My expectation for the year 2020 is where the crypto ecosystem is immediately recovered and in repair. The continuity of the ecosystem is safer and trusted by many people. 2019 are mostly rampant scams and hackers that ruin the crypto ecosystem's own order. And the investors more and more dare to help good projects exist so that they can make new project innovations in the future.

You meant if you are putting a big hopes to the halving? I believe that needs even a decade for bitcoin to be accepted by USA. But this is not a big problem. I just think the halving time will give bitcoin at least a small increase on its price right now. i hope if that will come true consider about less inflation must make less dump to the bitcoin that prevent the price goes to the moon.

I was one of those people who thought the situation in 2019 would be much better. I now believe we will finally see improvements in 2020. But I don't want to swear it. Crypto has shown that it can be very unpredictable.

Speaking of opinion, of course cryptocurrency will be even better than before, history has proven that every year crypto continues to experience significant development. Hopefully in 2020 more people have education about crypto.

many hope that in 2020 all cryptocurrency prices can return to high prices again but you must know that to create price increases there must be support and good news that can make prices rise because if there is no good news that can trigger investors to raise prices coin it will be very difficult to realize that hope in 2010.

It it possible to increase in the year 2020 but on my opinion I don't think it can easily recover in which the market is so down and it needs more time to recover. I agree that some of the coins will recover but most of them can't recover by the year 2020 due for some investors need more time to think and study on it for the coins they want to invest.

everyone always hopes that next year will be better than now. I also hope that hopefully next year bitcoin is pumping and the altcoin market is growing again. two years the situation of the altcoin market was so bad that almost altcoin lost its value. hopefully in 2020 the altcoin market starts to grow again. and hopefully next year there will be more companies that support cryptocurrency and accept crypto as a means of payment.

In the year of 2019 many of us in here are predicting that would be a bull run happen but until now nothing happen about the prediction we always said. But I dont think so in this coming 2020 maybe this will have sure that bull run be going start, So we need to buy more potential coins in the market or bitcoins that probably has one of coins increase the price so much and it take surpass on what they make in the past year.

my hope for crypto in 2020 is that the government will no longer ban its citizens from buying bitcoin and altcoin. then Sec immediately announces approved ETF so that everyone believes that bitcoin is digital gold and can compete with gold.

I also expect that many more countries will regulate the usage of bitcoin in their country. As time passing by, more government see the potential of the bitcoin. I also expect that next year will be the end of the bearish market and we will see the bullish market. It is just my expectation so we should still rely on the price action.

Well my expectations in 2020 is the same as this year hoping the market wouldn't be bad as 2018 and keep the steady and slow growth of the market but my wish for the 2020 is the epic bull run of 2017 happens again it's been two years since that event happen and i hoping that will happen again

My hope in 2020 is a good year for all cryptoqurrency spaces, because for 2 years we have experienced difficulties, especially regarding market prices, many coins lost their value and project fraud. I think if the price of bitcoin can be significant again to $ 90k - $ 100k, maybe altcoin will also follow the rising trend of bitcoin prices again. I'm waiting for this.

Of course everyone will expect 2020 to be better and profitable for all of us. But I personally think that 2020 will not be much different from today, because I don't think that there will be an altcoin season in 2020. It might happen, but in my opinion it will not happen in 2020, it may require several factors that can encourage this to happen and hopefully what I predict is wrong and 2020 will be a profitable year.

I see btc price in 2020 about 12000$-21000$. The next bitcoin halving is likely to occur in May 2020 and could have a dramatic impact on bitcoin's price.

I don't expect too much for the year of 2020 because it will probably lead to disappointment. I would rather just focus on myself and continue to improve my skills in this game rather than to have an ambition for the next year. There are high hopes of other people that the prices will go up pretty high because of the upcoming halving but I don't want to join their hype boat.

I am not expecting something as great as 2017 this 2020, but I hope the demand in crypto will somehow rise. Let's hope that there will be more positive news, updates, and upgrades, adaptation and cryptocurrency acceptance. Thia had been a great year compared to the last bear market.

I think next year the price of crypto will experience a significant increase, even if it starts with a decline. I was not expecting big in the coming 2020 but in 2021 I am totally expecting that something will happened. Since, halving would happen in 2020, I totally expect that in 2021 market would go sky-rocket. Healthy market? Yes, but the projects that would expect, well, I expect nothing but a half-half, decent projects and the other half are scam projects.

My expectations for the market next year are good, as it will fulfill the bitcoin halving that may be followed by the bitcoin bull run. The Bull run is sure to clean up the shitcoin, useless coins in the market and the only ones left are the ones who can help the crypto currency grow.

And hopefully this will happen so the market will recover from the past dump and also have us a profit as well.

Since the past years altcoins in the market have a very nice start and have a great market price even bitcoin,
In the past years, a lot of scam projects and altcoins happened since it was a trend a lot of company did make their own token and a lot of investors don't trust altcoins in the market anymore or investing in ICO's.
I think in 2020 surely the bitcoin will be more popular and have its increase recovering from the dump in the past months vice versa the altcoins will go down since investors don't trust a lot of altcoins in the market in my opinion only popular and famous alternative token in the market will remain in the market and other will become dead token.

Year 2017 won't repeat, that's for sure. But it doesn't mean that buying Bitcoin isn't profitable at all. I believe that 2020 will be better than this year and I hope that Bitcoin will surprise us all :D I just hold my btc and wait. I miss moment when bitcoin repeat again with 2017 where crypto become popular payment and many people discuss bitcoin or altcoin price because have higher price, I hope expectations on 2020 bitcoin back to higher price and many investor back again for investing with bitcoin and altcoin, Few day again we faced new year 2020 but bitcoin still look down and don't have higher price.

I used to hope a lot in 2019, the market will get better and I can get more profits. But the reality is not like that, in 2019 the market is still bad like 2018. 2020 is coming and I also think it is not too good compared to 2019, at least we need to wait 2-3 year for the next bull run

Expectations about 2020 have been positive since last year. Halving is the main factor in the formation of these expectations. There's a possibility for increase, but it's not certain.
Don't rush to be sure. When prices increased in 2017, no one expected such a big increase. Even though I do not say the right time, this increase will definitely happen again, and this will happen at a time when nobody expects it, including next year.

Base on the present status of the cryptocurrency, one would think that, next year will be a better year for the cryptocurrency enthusiasts and holders. I think this post belongs to Altcoins speculations. But replying on your topic, I expect nothing less from cryptocurrency. I will not set my expectations high but I still believe in cryptocurrency. I believe that it has its own natural way in growing. Anyway is bitcoin fork next year? If it is, I think we can see growth next year or after.

My personal opinion is that 2019 was definitely better than 2018 and this trend will continue in 2020. In other words, 2020 will be better than 2019 and will be full of interesting events in the crypto industry. The cylce is always like a year after halving price will going up. Its a bout to go up. in matter of days I guess the expectation will be met. It might not go high as 10K but its going there eventually by the next year. The halving price effect will start to occur. If it weren't for BAKKT that keeps suppressing the price, the bullrun may have really being to happen. It will eventually rise, it just need patience.

I think this year was the year of a premature pump. People were so tired of the bear market and wanted something to happen finally but there's a very nice positive aspect in all of this. Last year we were mostly sitting at 6-5 thousand dollars for Bitcoin and this year we are back above 6. If you bought somewhere between August and November of last year this year at the same time you'd have at least 10% more.

If Bitcoin finally recovers the altcoins will follow. I think that 2020 will be big.

As much as we heard a hard time in 2019, am not too serious about the 2020 because of what happened in this 2019. We all know the expectations of the bitcoiners and cryptocurrency enthusiasts but most of these expectations never come to reality. I won't put much expectations for the coming year but, hope things work in our favor.

Looking with bitcoin price today have increase with $6000 I think not have big hope and expectation with bitcoin price in 2020, maybe bitcoin have been lower price again by looking how bitcoin down every day and never can wake up with higher price, right now I not have big hope with bitcoin in 2020 with higher price although have bitcoin halving time because afraid reality in 2020 bitcoin keep down.

many of my expectations are in 2020. bitcoin is experiencing ATH again after halving. ICO became crowded again. the crypto market continues to grow and full of greenery in every line. reduced scam project. it was more than enough.

I passed last year as I'm passing this year now. 2019 expectation was good than 2018 and here it is. My expectation is so much more than any other year. Only reason is Bitcoin halving, without any reason Bitcoin price touched 13K where next year after Bitcoin halving could be rise than 20K.

We all wish many things but most likely many of the things we want are not going to come true or there is going to take a lot of time for those things to happen, there is not going to be massive adoption coming this year, it is going to be a slow process that will take years or even decades but while this may discourage some people at the same time it is going to be great for us because that means you have  a lot of time to buy bitcoin before its price really becomes too expensive to buy with the fiat you have available.

All my expectations is on bitcoin now since i stopped keeping many altcoins and sold off to buy more bitcoin, now i have 0.5btc and i hope bitcoin will reach 20k if not a new ATH at least so i will make the half of 20k this year

I think we will see less token sales in 2020 but the few that will come up will be well thought out and planned to succeed with real life use case than its predecessors. Then we may also witness a pump in crypto prices

I think your expectations are kind of high for this year, bitcoin will reach its ATH again but I am not so sure it is going to happen during this year, bitcoin is still having trouble to go past 9k and if this continues for too long it is possible the price will go down again, I do not know if we will reach a new low but at least I think we may reach 8k again and that may kill any opportunity we may have to see a bull market before the halving that will happen during this year.

Judging from the experiences we have had here in the past year, the good may be counted as being worse than the worst. If all the calculations for the last year and all the unaccounted sums are not deducted, the power will be higher. Because of that, just as an investor, the demand for normal next year will be high. So I am determined to be much more profitable in this 2020 year.

Still at home in fact i can't got yet good thinking, which is better for me in this year 2020. What a bad time for Corona Virus so i have still in joined some bounty. So if the market combination will growing good position then it will my luck.

At the moment, I do not expect anything good before bitcoin halving and during bitcoin halving, most likely if something good will happen with the cryptocurrency market, then at best it will be at the end of 2020, and if not, then we will have to wait and hope for the 2021 year.

Why did you say that Crypto will be a big thing in 2020? Is it because of halving that will happen this year, or because the market has experienced a very good condition? because everyone has their own way of assessing Cryptocurrency at this time.

Early this year (2020) I had big hope and expectations on the crypto space but currently now, my expectations has reduced, and it is attributed to the current nature of the world, that is the Covid-19 situation. People everywhere in the world are just struggling and trying their best to be safe at the same time looking for more ways to make money since most businesses, companies etc are currently closed; that is to say, in one way or the other its effect will be felt on the crypto space. Lastly, although my expectations are not that high again, my believe and trust didn't drop a bit because I always hope for the best.
In addition, I think people are also seeing the crypto space as the best place to be in this hard times.

Thats not make sense to me. What is the relation of protection of investment through privacy online? The OP is all about expectation for 2020, if you think someone's idea can impact so much to the market then you are on the wrong forum.

2020 improves a lot so I expected more than just simply the market increase. I am way more positive on the halving as price being drive up. As you can noticed it started now and as the halving approaches we will know if on the path of bullish season.

With how the rollercoaster rides are keep moving we are not what will be the fate of crypto, in the beginning of this year a lots of us expect that bull will overcome the bear since the trend is really favoring positive side, but suddenly this pandemic virus showed up and kill the run, luckily there are still people who keep on supporting this chain and still holding the barrier. Keep being postive and hope for best results if you are into investment side.

the world economic situation is indeed not supportive, because of the influence of the epedemic corona, a lot of the state budget must be spent instead of its purpose. but I am very confident with the opinions of colleagues above that there will be a surprise in 2020 for crypto. certainly not in Q2 there will start changes may begin in Q3, when epedemic corona gradually begins to be overcome properly.

Before the 2020 came my expectation was very high to the marker but after a few months those expectation decrease bur I still expect a little bit more rha they still have chance to start the bull after the halving of the bitcoin and I expect this year many project will become successful and more legir investment will be arrive in thw cryptocurrency.

It's really a difficult situation right now but i think crypto is affected in just the beggining and you'll see now that it's really in a good shape rather than other market. I'm expecting to be great year since BTC halving is happening and many good projects are start to run but some of them are already paused and cancelled. We'll see a lot of this if pandemic will still continue. Governments and businesses will start to accept payment through btc and othet cryptocurrency. A lot more of this if virus never happened and now it might be delay or the worst will not happen.

I've lost a lot of money if I sell my assets now, of course what I expect in 2020 is the price of Altcoin can be like 2017/2018,
at least a 2-3x increase makes me comfortable

No one knows what bitcoin will cost tomorrow ? It possible to increase in the year 2020 but  the halving and corona strike causes some fact which brings quite a tough and small increase on its price right now. It is just my observation and personal opinion. Let's hope for the best .

 that is a good sign of recovery and sooner or later people can now go back on thier normal lives again   . yeah sure its difficult to live like this but we shouldnt put out self down  , instead lets think of the bright side . anyway my expectation for 2020 is still positive  ( higher value for cryptos ) and a good life for me and my family   . i can still work tho , thats why i can say those things but my work is stil related to crypto so there are still small doubts

I have so many expection in the beginning of this year.  I have get through 2019 with bad journeys.  So,  I hope will get happy and success in 2020. Now,  already in April and almost May,  I still push my energy so hard to get all what I want.

it's 2020, of course my expectations for bitcoin halving this year exceed $ 20,000. and we all know that covid is sweeping parts of the world, hopefully it will end quickly so that activities run normally.

Of course everyone wants the same as well but mate let's have a reality check first. We are still in the middle of pandemic, economies of countries (whether the Westerners or the 3rd world) continue to suffer and assets are declining. I don't want to burst your bubble but I think it would be less hurtful for you if you lower down your expectations :D. Honestly, I'm skeptical that we will hit the last ATH or even exceeding it. We're lucky already if we hit $15k.

Future is uncertain but its full of surprises . I won't put much expectations and hope for this year, hope things works in our favor. Golden days of cryptocurrency should return . Although bitcoin halving and corona issues time because afraid reality in 2020 cryptocurrency price down. Hoping this year will be another great year .
