I think it's just another people analysis from hundred analysis that predicted BTC would pump in short time. But in the fundamental side and in my own opinion it won't pump this year or in a short time because it almost every end of the year BTC price always going down, it might be because many people withdrawing their investment or something else.

Just another pump analyzer.  ;D

Well, it could happen. It is December and people are receiving their bonuses.
If some do like the idea of investing that money into bitcoin then we might really see a small pump ahead.
But, it will not be fruitful in a sudden. It might bloom mid January or maybe even in the month of February.

Yeah, I am also speculating now.  ;D

Their analyze not realistic, depend on what can reach $ 9.200 in 2020?. Many analyze like this we can see in every platform, look's optimist but push too hard. Technical analyze must combine with fundamental can't stand alone specially with dream. Please don't share articles like this one, this is end of year many people already leave crypto market for pleasure. They will come back again next year, so please wait.

I barely understand your post but the article he post has a point if you read it carefully and have knowledge on technical analysis. There is no right or wrong in prediction since it's just a opinion and not
a trading advice. What are you talking about that many people already leave crypto? When you check wallets that holding BTC, You will notice that it grows exponentially which means that many new user
are holding their bitcoin. I don't see the logic on why this kind of article must not be posted here on trading discussion.  ;D

Every day I can hear hundreds of analyzes about the price of bitcoin in the future. People often talk about technical analysis, but I think there's no such thing as technical analysis right here. If there is good news the price will go up and bad news will go down, don't try to read past charts to predict the future.
Besides, the article does not have a specific timeline for bitcoin to rise to $ 9200, so this article is for reference only, it does not have any practical value.

Title: Re: Is Bitcoin going to $9200?
Post by: maydna on December 12, 2019, 03:40:30 AM
I don't think bitcoin price can increase at $9200 in a short time unless there is a big pump that can push the price to rise higher. If the situation is like this, I think the price will not be able to break $8000, and it will stay at a range of $7100-$7500, but that is only my prediction. If the price can start to jump before the end of this year, then it will be good for bitcoin itself because, in the next year, we will see the bitcoin price will start to reach more than $8000 and will break another higher price.

So we can be patient to wait for that time because we will make a lot of profit by selling bitcoin at the highest price. We can buy more bitcoin from now on before the price increase, so we are not late to sell the bitcoin.

Title: Re: Is Bitcoin going to $9200?
Post by: LouVandetta on December 12, 2019, 04:20:45 AM
We couldn't even reach $8000 price, it was even really hard to maintain a stable price above $7500. But, there's nothing wrong with the technical analysis. It's merely a prediction, I, myselft have my own prediction about the price of bitcoin, but still I don't dare to share it since I don't even know if it's the right analysis or not. I'm no expert when in comes to prediction or something.

I think as long as we're not breaking the $7000 price, there's still hope for another recovery and it might also surpass the resistance or even just like what that article have predicted. But if it goes beyond the support, only god knows where we're heading.

The analysis is still too far from the possibility of market conditions like this will continue to hold at $7000, it will also be difficult to rise this month to $8000, bearish will continue to be possible until the beginning of the year often much higher speculation so that there is no pumping on bitcoin and many people don't believe about it.

don't rely too much on analysis, because there is no analysis that is 100% accurate, the analysis can be right or wrong, from my personal experience, Bitcoin technical analysis often shows false signals, like yesterday, many predicted bitcoin to fall, instead it rose sharply to reach 10K, after that many predict bitcoin will go 20K, but bitcoin dropped sharply instead.

It's just a prediction nothing else. Also so many people told that btc will we 50k$+ in 2019. But reality is btc is under 10K$.We now that btc will not only reach 9200$,it will be ATH. But need more time.Better to don’t hear this kind of prediction. Make your own research.

Is this exactly what you say? I do not think so?
Soaring in the short term it can happen because prices are very fluctuating but does the statement in the article convince you?
Because it has been speculated a lot like that and just become nonsense, a lot of analysis about the bitcoin mela bung but not so sure what they say.
It's better to see the market that is continuing.

Most people predict that bitcoin will increase in the future, and the price of $ 9200 is quite possible, but the specific time when it will reach that price is what people are wondering.
The article only says that bitcoin will rise to $ 9400 in the coming days, so how long will it take? 1 week or a month or a year?
There are many predictions about bitcoin out there, at least they let people know about a specific time.
Besides, I don't see any signs that bitcoin will increase in recent days. The Christmas holidays are about to come and it's about time people need cash to shop, there will undoubtedly be a lot of bitcoins being sold and I think prices will fall.

Still, the prediction of the coin is almost 9200 dollars, and we are still on that price, if you are trying to look at the graph of the coin it is not stable came from 7500 dollars it goes down over 7100 dollars that is not profitable to us as a trader, some people make an alternative income, so they use the altcoins on their trade even it was not profitable unlike the bitcoin, a trader always aim to have a profit and additional source you cannot skip an opportunity to have a profit everytime, there are some predictions that the end of the year of 2020 there's a huge changes in the cryptocurrency.

Were close to end of this year,  there is a possibility for bitcoin to reach $9200 but the most ask when we do not know yet. A lot of speculation in bitcoin price probably next year there is a changes in the crypto market. There is still a needs on your judgement about btc movement because even others gives you analysis about the price there is no certainty when would that be.

I'm not really sure about the speculation. but it could happen if the price of bitcoin rises. it's just that, at this time such potential has not been seen. until now the price of bitcoin is still trying to survive at the level of $ 7k. as said in the article that the price of bitcoin has the potential to level $ 8k, and $ 9k when recovery occurs. it's just that, the predictions don't say if there is a decline, and I feel that when there is a fall in the price of bitcoin it could be under $ 6500.

When it's an opinion, then it's nothing, but if this would be based on analysis then the different case, but the price of Bitcoin would go up and down it's a common scene from the last couple of years, recently, Bitcoin price has shown a lot of dynamic volatility, especially when the China president declared that Blockchain is fruitful for the next generation then the price of Bitcoin was increasing at a good pace, For me, Bitcoin price is depending on the international politics and policies, so anytime anything would happen in this blockchain world.

I think prices stagnant like this will last a long time, The price of Bitcoin is still around $7k and this will end if there is good news that can trigger Whales to buy Bitcoin. I think the price of $9k will be very easily achieved if there is a small Pump later.

This is a chart when bitcoin was still at $ 7k5 and showing signs of growth, but the past few days its price has broken the uptrend and has returned to the bear market. in fact it is a spectacular trick for those who believe that bitcoin can still grow in the coming days. now the price of bitcoin is $ 7k158 and it is preparing for the next historic dump, you should be mentally prepared. The market will be like the end of 2018 because there will be more sharks selling bitcoins to prepare for their holidays.

Article? That's an "opinion" piece, hopefully not yours. Because if trash like that were put as real articles, no one would subscribe.
Rather then linking to cryptonomist tweet directly, the writer decided to lure in some misogynist bullshit like this, and that's the only opinion from the writer in this article.

The secret to the popularity of Cryptomist, perhaps, is not so much that the analyst gives correct forecasts, but that the pretty girl is on the avatar. We love girls! But far from their competence in crypto finance …

I had no idea why the article starter even friggin made an article for it, He could just literally tweet it out or something, no useful information, no analysis, no detailed charts described. Just saying that

Like bro, really. I can say this all day but I wouldn't have the guts to create an article that literally only has this on an article.

Yep the beginning of the year will be a bullish trend to reach the price of $ 9200 might be easy if the bear market is gone, with this increase bitcoin will be easier to reach $ 15000 on my own chart showing upwards so I will wait for the continuation on the right day maybe this March-April.

In fact, we are not sure whether the price of Bitcoin will reach $ 9.200 in 2020. No one can say for sure. Because the price of bitcoin goes down again. Many have left crypto due to the price of Bitcoin. However, the price of bitcoin will rise in the near future but it is difficult to say how much it will reach. If the price of Bitcoin goes up, our investment will be good and those who have left the crypto will come back.

A lot of people are now having disappointments to bitcoin today because it was down to almost 7K USD that most of us are expecting that it could increased it's price to 10 K USD  before the end of the year of 2019. So it will be impossible for bitcoin's price to increased to $9200 before the end of 2019.

If bitcoin can break out the resistance level to $8000, then we can talk about bitcoin heading to $9200.
But for now, the technicals analysis shows that the market still in the selling phase, more than people who willing to buy.
We still have time to see where it's going, 19 days to the end of the year.

He is probably talking about the next halving which will take place next year. People usually expect the price to go up during halving due to the general economic rule, demand and supply. Due to halving, the supply of the coin will reduce thus people will expect the price to rise. This in fact might cause the price to rise as people will start investing on bitcoin before the halving. Again, we have seen the price not being affected at all due to halving.
Holidays are coming. People might want to change their coins to fiat but I don't think it is going to affect the price much.

my guess is just a prediction by another analysis, from what I see at the moment bitcoin is not yet pointing to a surge in prices towards 9.2k usd. so this seems like speculation in general. it's the end of the year, if it can indeed reach 9.2k in the short term there is a big possibility it will continue to go up, it won't be just a moment only (if that happens).

My take about the peg of $9,200 is that there are no real mover of the market since this year and even now. So that analysis is still debatable and not highly probable to be realistic. I still would wait to see how the year goes.

So yeah this article might not come through or will it there are no actual confirmations yet but im just keeping eye on the price right now. Still hoping for a reversal the amount of time waiting can be pretty exhausting.

Well, there are a lot of articles like this everywhere on the internet where people had shared their own opinion which has nothing to do with BITCOIN price if you are holding you just have to wait and let the market decide where it is going. If you look from a bigger picture perspective you can realize how much potential it has.

Feel like this is quite disappointing expectation. I mean will it see right now? I don't know, but will it see it sometime soon? Most probably, we are talking about 9200 here, it is not really that high and it was around that just a month ago or so, which means it is quite possible for bitcoin to reach those levels easily.

I am not saying it will happen in an hour but I am 99% sure it will happen in couple months max. That is the beauty of finding the bottom price, I don't care if we go back to 3k one day, it WILL see 9200 one day for sure and there is no way bitcoin NEVER reaches 9200 from now on. All you need to figure out is when and that is not really THAT important if you ask me, I don't know when but I know it will so that is good enough for me to invest.

What you've read won't get an interesting fact from the community. We've heard this kind of speculative scheme almost all the time but if we look at the market status, it still remains low. How was good to see Bitcoin soar high but it came to the point that the market hasn't in perfect time to show it.

thats how speculation works  . people only speculate because they praise cryptos too much and they are obsess with its movements  but speculation wont dictate if what price crypto will end  but it is only the same as prediction  . its always good to see btc pumping up but i guess the only way for it to happen is to wait for the big guys to do the move . btc price of 9200 is possible and it can even drop lower than that price point but would it be great if the price will remain stable for a while  ?

Hopefully this will happen, but at the moment I don't think it can be fulfilled, especially as the price of bitcoin is still unpredictable.
So I don't think we can count on these predictions and it is better to wait for the positive things that happen to bitcoin prices. Because it will happen even without the predictions.

This is another "opinion" of an analyst. Just take time to read the title of the article. We may go back to $9200 soon but it's too quick to assume that we will be there after staying to $7,000. It's a possibility that the bottom would be $6,000 before this year ends.
But as an enthusiast and holder, who doesn't want to see bitcoin reach that price again?

in my opinion 9200 is a good level ; if prices bitcoin rise to that level for sure bear market will end ; then it will be very easy for prices continue bullish trend to 15k usd . generally prices can reach 9200 at the end of next month or by february
The price of bitcoin is trading on a range of $6500 to $9800, if there is a rally then we might expect the price to reach those range bound and not exceeding those valuation because of the resistance and if they are able to break those resistance then we might see another rally to $16k and i do not have any idea on when these resistance can be broken but that is the general idea i have on the valuation of bitcoin.

I think it's just another people analysis from hundred analysis that predicted BTC would pump in short time. But in the fundamental side and in my own opinion it won't pump this year or in a short time because it almost every end of the year BTC price always going down, it might be because many people withdrawing their investment or something else.
I think that investors have withdrawn all of their investment money from the market at the end of each year to sum up the profits they have earned in each of the past years. Therefore, the market at the end of the year is very bleak and there is not too much volume. I also think with you, BTC will be pumped but not this year

I don't think that will happen if you predict that in the short term around $ 9200, because what I see in the technical analysis for the short term there are 4 resistance lines, unless you say it will be $ 8000 that's still possible, because I see in the 1D timeframe the first resistance is at around $ 7880. even then if the market does not continue falling movement.

Another good analysis but only bitcoin can tell, and time will come soon. We only have few more days before the year end, and the price is still down if the prediction wont happen this year maybe early next year is more possible. I’ve read a lot of articles like this, no one gives the right prediction during the bear market so this is a new one, and hoping that it finally happen in bitcoin.

This simply means that Bitcoin's price remains unpredictable and we have to accept it. People are too much optimistic even far from the way it looks like.
If Bitcoin will soar back to $9k, then we could say it is great but somehow it is far from market realizations knowing the fact that we are still struggling hard. May it is possible to see prices move high again but it seems to be impossible this year.

This is just another prediction that is far from reality but we still cannot deny the fact that it can still happen but I don't think it is happening this year. Maybe the fourth quarter of next year it can be possible that the price of bitcoin can hit $9k but not this year. There is no reason that the price will make that high and I don't think that there is a possibility to have a bull run.

Maybe this is just a prediction out of many. On account of the same we can't conclude this won't happen this year, and we need to wait until the fourth quarter of the upcoming year. Think of the previous time growth reaching $9500, all got started from the value around $7500 when users were speculating for the price to touch $8500. Everything is a matter of time, so its good to hope for the best with the prior planning to meet the worst market condition is my choice.

Although i'm hoping for an increase this coming holiday, the article is no different from what I've read most of the time here in forum. Yes, still it could happen but base on what the price performing makes that prediction unlikely to happen. Unless, someone will pump the price and it may even surpass that speculation. If it breaks $8k then there's a chance for it but the resistance in $7k seems strong.

It's tough to predict even with TA as the momentum shifts when emotions came from the traders start to flow. Either rise or fall it's depending from
how the market being appreciated by the traders. Investors is no longer interested with predictions they are wisely check the possibilities before
placing an entry to their position and make a good assessment to gain profits.

I assume that these days since actually there's no huge movements came as of today while in the past the pump will start at the December month and I think those past investors been upset for what happen on crypto for the past year that's why we cannot get a good demand coming until now but hopefully we can see a game changer next year since if block halving doesn't give a great impact provably many investors will leave these scene.

But just like you I do not really believe that is the case we are in a bear market and it is going to take us some time to get out of it, at least a few months and until that time passes no one should expect any kind of big recovery.

Just a bunch of TA out there. Well, of course bitcoin market or generally the whole market will soar sooner or later. This year? It could be possible, may be with a help of whales like what they did way back last November wherein they manipulate the market within the span an hour. But the downside of it, is that, it would go down later on.

yeah there are lots of articles about predictions, for me if the end of this year is down it's good to buy because I am very sure history can repeat it, next year when halving occurs in the end, the price of bitcoin will increase. so take advantage when prices fall. so don't think too much, because for now it won't rise above $10,000, it will stable in below and there is a possibility of a fall.

I doubt it will before the end of the year, the best and logical the price could get is $7900, mine is a moderated forecast, I just want for Bitcoin to go to break the $7500 level, it's been weeks of struggling for the price to reach $7500, so many forecasts has been amiss, these year-end forecasts cast doubts on the accuracy and reliability of these so-called experts, it's really hard to predict the crypto market than other markets.

Interestingly, the 9.4k price was predicted by the fractal posted by @NebraskanGooner (Twitter).

It was predicted for February 2020. Most importantly the following chart (unfortunately the fractal goes against this chart):

Green line is the support, blue line is the resistance.
The reaction to the green line will be absolutely crucial in the next coming weeks.

Maybe the price won't go up more than $7500 until the last days of 2019. Since the price was very hard to recover, seeing btc price at the resistance will encounter more hardships. Even though more predictions comes, it's not our assurance to depend on them. We must stand with our own analysis, and strive harder until great pumps initiates an outstanding phase.

Not yet. Too early. How about mid-April? Yes, that might work.
Then, more pump after May that could lead to 12-13k. Afterwards, it could stop there by  making another bottom like 12k.
Everyone will be happy.

Some will say that is just a little pump. How the hell is 5k USD is a small pump to bitcoin?
Even this price right now is still huge if compared to different commodities out there.

Who knows, there's a chance for Bitcoin soar to $9000 or more. These are just speculation it would still depend upon you if you are going use it as your guide or not but it is better if you will make yours. Bitcoin halving is becoming closer and perhaps this could be another factor on Bitcoins fluctuation however don't rely on it too much since it is really vague to predict crypto's movement.

Just another pump analyzer.  ;D
I don't know what that means exactly, but it sounds like the article might be just that.  That isn't real news media, by the way, if they're writing articles hyping bitcoin or any other coin, nor would I trust a website that writes crap like that.

As far as whether bitcoin is going to $9200 (and I'm not sure where that price came from since I'm not clicking on the link), yeah I'd say it's going to, but not this year.  It's got to break $8k first, and even that seems to be an insurmountable barrier in the short term--even though bitcoin was above $9k not too long ago.  When bitcoin gets stuck in a range, it gets stuck for a long-ass time.

Next year, man, next year.  It's going to be a much better year than 2018 and even this year, at least I'm really hoping it will be.  I have a feeling the halvening is priced in already, but I can't say I'm 100% sure about that.  I said the same thing about the last two halvenings and I turned out to be wrong.  Anyway, we'll see about that but in any case bitcoin is due for a bull market sometime soon.

but I have different predictions in my opinion maybe in these last days the price of bitcoin will go down because maybe some people will sell bitcoin for Christmas and new year. and some people may also be free from cryptocurrency activities. I think this will make the price of bitcoin decrease.

You are definitely right in simple news about bitcoin it can totally change the path of price. Do you see the news or article about the president of China who will now support bitcoin and after I read that article the price of bitcoin instantly reach $10,200 in a short period of time. Seems bitcoin will not step up in the price of 9200$ and the price still at 7100$. Yes, that's true, when talking about charts actually almost nothing matches what will happen in the future. this is undeniable, the current bitcoin chart is indeed a lot of violations in the sense of not in accordance with what had previously occurred as it should and where the direction of the chart. like a lot of manipulation so as to hold the price of bitcoin difficult to breakout. especially if we rely on info as the OP said. I'm not sure aswell

Not much to see on the article. Even though charts provide an insight to what the price would be, cryptocurrency market is still too volatile to be accurately predict, and all are just speculations. What I think is much better way of speculating is away from the charts, and instead focus on real-world happenings that might affect the price. In that method, you could gain insight on how the world, the demand, and the whales would manipulate the prices.

It is called prediction or speculation because it can either happen or not, we already know bitcoin is very unpredictable to the point that it is stressful to analyze it because it seems that it moves differently. We can base our decisions on these predictions but don’t really expect too much from them because it will only disappoint you.
Just do what you think is the right thing to do and try to make most out of every situation therein and enjoy what we can enjoy because we don’t know what will happen in the future.

I doubt there will be a bull rallying up this year or even in the next year might as well as the halving there's no certainty that the bull market is rallying up. All we see this month is the stable price of $7k but if it would break the resistance level we might see the slight bullish market that everyone wants to see.

I'm not sure aswell

it's likely that in the next few days market price movements will experience a slight decline, because we know that the crypto market is very vulnerable to manipulation and currently market price manipulation is more frequent so that market price movements are more likely to decline lately

Bitcoin this days is quite hard to speculate on and a bunch of failed bullrun, the support line got breach and now im expecting more downside movement might be coming. So yeah this article might not come through or will it there are no actual confirmations yet but im just keeping eye on the price right now. Indeed. Bitcoin's price is very difficult to manipulate that we didn't expect that bitcoin will go down to almost $7000 this month of december. Every predictions about the price of bitcoin that we see in this forum did not match today, but a lot of people still believe that bitcoin will reach it's to $20,000 again in the year of 2020.

I'm bullish for the moment as we've already moved down to some extent.   However I'm less certain of achieving 9200 before year end -

Take the blue line as bullish momentum and we're not near to that.  Gives us space to rise to this area but still cant really trust this BTC price beyond speculative trades with stop loss on it.    I'd wait before expressing negative bet near term though.

Looks hard for bitcoin growing back with $9200 because today bitcoin increase more under $7000 and never have chance for bitcoin come back with price above, Looking chart bitcoin zone keep stable right now and one month later under $7000. Many speculation with bitcoin at new years with bitcoin halving have higher price and never have chance to be above $16000.

Price could be going up soon, I am not entirely sure when but there have been a lot of talking points about how bitcoin could go down to $6k and even some people who suggested $3k is in the play, if I learned anything from being in bitcoin that whenever people think bitcoin is strong and it will go up but before it goes up it will go down, that means people are unwilling to sell their coins since they think it will go up but they are not willing to buy neither because it will go down, so it stays stagnant until one day it moves a slight bit upwards which people take as a sign and they start buying all together and price goes up.

When you break a resistance point it is easier to go up, just to give an example when the price goes above $8.2k that means it is easier to reach $9.2k as well, it is easier to move from $8.2k to $9.2k then move $7.8k to $8.3k for example.

Point is there are too many people saying too many things about bitcoin price. I like the subject of this post that at least it's giving us some good hope. Let's hope Bitcoin recover to 9200$ or even more than that but seeing the current market trend its seems very difficult that bitcoin will be seeing 9200$ in coming recent days.

I don't believe that the price of Bitcoin would hit $9200 lately the price had retraced or pullback rapidly to $7100 where I think a strong support held the price, although Xmas celebrations is around the corner there is tendacy that a lot of hodlers would make withdrawal for the celebrations invariably pushing down the price thus reaching the speculated  price mark unachievable.

Lets see who will prevail before the end of year if bulls or the bears.  If the market  will end this year in bullish mode  bitcoin will have a price by next year. But if bears end this 2019 opposite will happens, just a wild guess.

The price is already going downwards as it is at about $7100 whereas it was higher than this a few weeks back, so I think price is going to fall more and then it will start climbing once the bitcoin block reward halving is near the next year. But until then I don't think there can be a bullish cycle at all.

Bitcoin is currently showing signs of collapse in the short term. If the support level of 7000$ is broken, the price of BTC will certainly go down to 5800-6000$. But in the long run until April 2020, I think BTC will go up again because of the halving event. Price of BTC if pumped will surely surpass 10,000$

Bitcoin is a highly volatile cryptocurrency so it will go down peoples are waiting to buy Bitcoin, because it will start rapid hype automatically many investors are buying the Bitcoin. So April 2020 is not a big uptrend on crypto market, because many peoples are said January it will start to growing. I hope 2020 we are all see the unexpected hype on crypto market.

Right now we don't need to panic because there is also a tendency of slight price recovery. And let's look forward to next year as there are definitely a lot of fuds to go around.

We can't expect that price may recover if people will set their buying price at the very low and some sellers may catch those prices cause they are already been caught by FOMO. If we would like to move Bitcoin price back high again, we just hold our BTC's right now and wait until the price will show recoveries.

Being a patient person can sometimes lead you to huge losses. There are a lot of stories who hold their coins in a long time because they have a lot of patience and the result is negative. We should know when to hold or when to sell our bitcoins. I do not hold when the market is red because I'm aware that I will experience losses. I will only hold when the trend is green where the price is rising.

Although I am very bullish on BTC, I am tired of speculations and analysts dropping one prediction or the other. It will moon when it will, just buy and hodl.
I have stopped refreshing coinmarketcap.com and I am waiting for major events before checking my portfolio again. The whales are just manipulating the market by pumping a little and dumped again. I am tired of watching the market up and down within a short period of time.

Everyone's feelings are the same, btc is being more manipulated this days and the new investors are having fear to take a risk for a long term investment this year. so we can expect the real pumping in mid 2020 or expect the worst that might happen. all prediction that came out, no one get hint of the price. for me I will focus on potential altcoins than to check btc price daily.

Again there are whales to be blamed for low Bitcoin price. It's funny how often it's being mentioned that Bitcoin price is manipulated so come is than better than fiat currencies.
I think that whales are given a lot more lower than they actually have in reality and that people just need a culprit for the price range that isn't in their favour.

The analysis he does is with a triangle, the truth is that sometimes I don't understand the theory about the triangle much, I prefer to see the volume, some who have the paid version in tradingview and tensorcharts, have a tool called volume profile, which shows the negotiations where they have more interest, which changes according to the period chosen, in the same way in the article they talk about a short-term rally, however, it must be taken into account that in this month the demand increases, the emotions Sometimes they move the market and especially try to understand what whales can do. In my personal opinion, it is a good time to wait at least a few days to see what movements can originate in the market, to react.

in my opinion the price of bitcoin will remain in the range of $ 7k until the turn of the year. there is currently no strong push to reach $ 9200. It seems like people don't believe anymore if the price of bitcoin will go up at the end of the year. if I look at market conditions it looks like the downtrend is still happening, that means $ 9200 won't be reached in the near future.

I may not be agreeing( bold letters) this one. We still have a big chance to move higher even reaching into $12k or more. The market even reaches $20,000, why not it won't happen again, and even though we got no strong support this year but can't say that it could be the same next year.
Bitcoin halving will come next year and so it believes that it has a positive impact to the market and could possibly be a way to reach another ATH.

Bitcoin had been following a pattern set by some bots playing it exactly as the big guys want it to. The $6500, $7000, $7350, $8200, $9540 and $10012 are some of the major S&R levels to watch for. I don't mind speculating but don't believe in them any better because what is meant to meet in shots, is met with assurance and the levels are required to be touched to complete the legs the bots are programmed for. Although I see Bitcoin to touch $6000 and may be lower once again, I do not see longs getting done with their part yet, so you can expect them to take BTC above $10000 again.

I saw some predictions and discussions that Bitcoin is going to $5K. In the last couple of weeks, the Bitcoin price is in a downtrend, will it go back to $9K or will it drop to $5K is a million-dollar question, and probably no one can give 100% accurate prediction. We can hope that this drop is just temporary and that soon we will go back to 9K, this bearish trend lasts for a long time, it would be nice to get out of it.

For this year maybe it will never happen since many afraid to stake on the current market condition since it's been predicted that it could ever dump for more and hopefully we can see a great recovery in first quarter next year since if the dump will continuously occur maybe we will lose a lot of supporters since many people will flee away if halving will not bring any satisfactory effect to the people.

For me it's pretty obvious it goes to 9k first, before falling to 5k, I mean look at the trend. Lower high after lower high, so we are expected to see another "lower high" around 9k, and then we will go below 6k but not before 6 months from there.

Lower highs since the run at 13.7k in June were around 12k, then around 10.5k... this is typical of a downtrend.

A bullish run is really hard to imagine right now, there need to be a lot of belief, a lot of new blood and some big investors to change the current trajectory of Bitcoin price. I also believe big money will be invested in gold in the next 2 years.

Bitcoin is breaking major support one after the other. This isn't the good sign for the end year. Usually, during the end of the year, people go on holidays, take out money from the assets and dont prefer trading. This will effect bitcoin price adversely.

So I am expecting more melt down in term of prices than any hope of recovery. If price had to go up, it would have been by now. Also, if you look at charts, major bitcoin holder have accumulated lot of bitcoin and are away from trading. This could lead to some major price action in coming weeks or months.

Agree with your opinion, the market always collapses at the end of the year and there is no volume.I don't know what the exact reason is but it always happens, maybe they are consolidating profits at the end of the year and do not want to invest in anything else at this stage. So the price of BTC and altcoins continues to collapse as people have no need to buy, given the current situation, I hope in the first months of 2020 BTC can rise to $9000-10000 before halving in May

Another possibility for the decrease in the price of bitcoin probably has to do with the holidays, at this time many people take a break from everything that they are doing and prefer to spend time with their families and they don't have the time to watch the markets as they usually do.

So they prefer to close their positions instead of maintaining them open and risk losing money when they are looking away, this could increase the supply of bitcoin in the markets and decrease the demand as well and this always makes the price to go down.

As you said, the year-end decline usually occurs because of the effects of the holidays.  so, I think it's quite difficult to reach the price of $ 9k at the end of this year.  in fact, falling prices to reach the level of $ 6k is one proof.  however, reaching just $ 7,500 for the end of this year is a good achievement.
And more, there is still potential for bitcoin prices to fall lower, so it's quite difficult to expect bitcoin to reach $ 9k

We never know what to happen after some time there's still a lot of time since the holiday season is approaching and we know that money either to flow or it will be decrease it will be depends from how traders will show support or withdraw their funds. Everything still possible and things might happen in a quicker manner.

it turns out to be broken for the pattern prediction. I say no for now. because the decline in bitcoin is still continuing. I think bitcoin will reach $ 9200 after halving happens. and that's 2020. But I can't guarantee that. bitcoin doubts are very much now. especially from new investors. so that support continues to fall. I think there is only one reason. when whales has cleaned up people who panic about bitcoin. a pump will be carried out.

In the coming days as per the article it says it will break $9400, however it seems like it does not happen yet, instead BTC now drop below $7K and this is not the direction we like to see, in 2 weeks remaining this, I have doubt that we can still reach at the target of OP. honestly....

What we can do is just remain hopeful for recover.
Actually this year there was a recover, btc reach $13,000 but it's just sad that we are expecting we will finish strong this year but it seems it will not happen.

Even there's a btc halving next year it cant guarantee anything and we are hoping this event will trigger the price to pump just like what happened in the history. This year is going to end and some of us are expecting to have a price recovery but it seems everything is uncertain and what we can do is to wait.

It only means that there are no clear patterns here, we thought that $9k is possible, but damn, we're all wrong here, or least majority of us are still hoping for a good run at the end of the year. Trading volumes though are still good, but I don't know, maybe there are factors from behind that is really pulling the price in the last couple of weeks.

As far as I remember, the positive expectations for the growth of bitcoin were associated with the launch of Bakkt and the arrival of institutional investors. This did not affect the market, because bitcoin trading almost did not grow, we do not know exactly how whales affect the bitcoin market, so we often lose money.

Buy the rumours, sell the news. Same thing happened with the CME futures. And now the market moves according to the 6 month contracts. How times are a-changing.

If the support of 7,100 dollars is broken, the price of bitcoins could continue to fall to 5,800 dollars and even further fall.
At least we do something that can help bitcoin price, and help our investment too. I think holding with patient is not a bad thing, when maybe other people say bad about bitcoin price, i think if we really believe, holding is our chance to get profit more than it and at least we're not suffer because regret when we sell it in hurry and then price back to be better in future.
Indeed, it already happens to me. I'd never sell my altcoins during the last bull run cause I thought that it will continue to grow next year but the market badly turn down and crashes the entire crypto market. And I'd think that patient could some plays with luck or may not. But I'm still holding some of my altcoins for the hopes that price will turn back high and I could sell it.

sometimes even good news doesn't affect the price of Bitcoin / Altcoin this year. very different when back in 2017. Today, We can see the price of Bitcoin down dramatically to 6600 USD, we don't know because of what news. no bad news I guess. the Bitcoin price cycle in 2019 is indeed still low in movement. hopefully, next year will be even better and affect the price of Altcoin. because I'm sure the Altcoin session is also very much awaited by the holders.

Chance is always there. In the past, many times we've seen spectacular price increases in a very short time. However, investors in December are very "sleepy". There is no interest from speculators on the market. I think that for any sharp movements, we will have to wait until next year.

When there happens small forward push in the price automatically more investors gets active in the market. This means everyone are waiting for the right occasion, as said similar price pumping have happened earlier. Even the recent price increase to $14000 happened all of the sudden in a much short time period.

I'm really not sure Bitcoin will reach $9200 in the remaining time at the end of this year, because when I look at my technical analysis it's only MACD, Momentum, SMA (5), (10) and EMA (5), (10) that give signals buy. and the other indicators only provide all sell signals. so I think it's still hard to reach the price of $9200. but I hope at least by the end of this year the price of bitcoin can reach $8000.

With just a few days left in the year I think we can finally safely discard the possibility that we are going to see may kind of significant recovery at the end of the year, depending on your perspective this can be good or bad, I know there are people that want the market to recover as soon as possible.

But the more time the market takes to recover the more time you have to use whatever fiat that you have available to buy bitcoin, and if you do that the more profits you will obtain in the future.

Yeah, I am also speculating now.  ;D
but admit it mate specially for those bitcoin holders that positive Analyzer is what we want now right?instead of Fud and negativity it is better that we are seeing post similar to this.

i hate to read some bad news and negative this season because it is beyond expectation that the price will fall early December things that we are looking before the month ends.

so for now?let us cherish the link (though it is hard to expect this year)

I am really hoping that bitcoin would start to increased it's price today even it doesn't reach it's price to $9200, as long it has a good price before the end of the year of 2019. For us to know if there will be a possibility that bitcoin could reach it's price again up to 20k USD and just to gain back all of our losses.
