Title: Exchanges with guaranteed listing on voting system
Post by: tinyteapot on December 13, 2019, 08:13:12 AM
Do we still have Exchanges with guaranteed listing on voting system ?
I know yobit offers this types of listing but according to them it is not guarantee listing
Can someone give me an idea of a good trading exchange that offers guarantee listing through their voting system.

Here are a few exchanges[1][2][3] (I can't vouch for any of them though). Note that voting does not necessarily make the listing process easier, it all depends on your userbase.

Here's another one [not vouching as well]: Binance (https://www.binance.com/en/vote)

Can someone give me an idea of a good trading exchange that offers guarantee listing through their voting system.
Based on their terms:

    Terms & conditions:

    • Users votes are based on their average daily BNB balance over the past 6 days.
    • We will endeavor to list the winning project’s token within a reasonable time frame after the vote, pending wallet and tech integration for the coin.
    • Users will only be able to choose one project to contribute all their votes to. You cannot vote for both projects.
    • Rewards will be issued within 2 weeks after the vote ends, but before trading of the winning token begins.
    • Binance reserves all rights to change the rules of this event without notification, including the revoking the results suspected of vote manipulation.

Voting can be manipulated by some group/users who have a huge fund, the important point the coins/token should be safe from the source code and the project.

The coins/token still need to past the audit from the source code of the coins/token and the project itself, basically voting its just a pree-register for the project to the next step process listing if the coins with the voting but they cannot past the due diligence from the exchange they will not get listed.

I wouldn't throw huge resources at rigging something like that. For starters they'll be able to tell it was a huge rig. And your shitcoin may prove to be shit and they'll tell you to go away.

I guess this is less of an issue with a cut and paste like a ERC20 token but exchanges will have seen every single attempt to game them in the book.

I wonder if any listings of that nature haven't been rigged. If your coin is wonderful and people want it then they lose money by not listing it without all that.

Well, for the most part a lot of exchanges stopped the listing as it proved to be more and more pointless, and people making bounties here so others can go and spam the voting section of exchanges. And also ICOs used to pay upfront to the exchanges to get their coins listed, which also doesn't happen on the more relevant exchanges anymore.

    BitBay also does that: https://bitbay.net/en/news/add-your-coin-or-token-on-bitbay

    Quote
Submitted coins will take part in voting by our community.

Unfortunately they even let blatant scams such as FTO in.

A good exchange in my opinion has a real trading volume.
Every altcoin in the exchange before entering has done the research first.
At least  have 3 years experience in crypto.
Maybe Indodax is one of the exchanges that I recommend.

It's exclusive to Indonesian, isn't it?

    And also this:

I'll take what he said as lip service, to be honest.

The responses are awesome and i have been able to see some points about my quest.

I dont like people that waste other people's time with shitcoins, i see it as a set back traps towards other peoples progress.

Thank you all for your contributions.

These lists can be exchanged by any exchange, but it is important that the exchange is reputable to make the value of the coin or token grow or not. one thing is clear that Yobit and Binance are two completely different exchanges, Binance is very prestigious and Yobit only wants to make money from investors. Currently, Binance, Huobi are having a remarkable Voting system when the coins simultaneously grow when news is likely to be selected for listing at Binance exchange.

Yes, the Indodax exchange is very recommended for voting your coins, but it is not easy if it will be listed. If you want to enter Indodax exchange at least the coin must have a daily volume above $ 1 billion, but if this is a new coin then I think it will not easy and will be difficult to enter into Indodax exchange.

That can't be right. What coin apart from Bitcoin and Ethereum have that kind of daily volumes? That would mean no other coin would be allow to be listed on that exchange. :D

Indodax has only $2 million in 24 hour volume; https://coinmarketcap.com/exchanges/indodax/

In general, projects must be shitty to be voted up for a listing on an exchange that's just as shitty. I get that building a community and whatnot takes time, but when no decent exchange wants to list you, it's probably a sign that there are already dozens of other projects doing the same thing, and probably much better. Cash grab galore!

I've posted a link above and the requirements are listed there. You must be on the top 100 coins on CMC or in other words, a little bit above 33M USD (with current rates) in trading volume.
