Title: Has anyone here tried Betadvisor.com?
Post by: Pmalek on December 13, 2019, 10:04:25 AM
Just want to start off by saying that I am in no way affiliated by the site or promoting/recommending them. It is just a discussion.
https://www.betadvisor.com/en

I used their services 2-3 years ago. I think they offered a free 1 week trial period for new sign ups.
You pick the sport you want to bet on and get access to different profiles with complete track record of all their previous bets. A one month subscription starts at €9 and can go up to €199 maybe even more depending on the tipster and their records.

Might be useful for those who like these things.

Sounds very nice but I would not suggest anybody to "follow" tipster sites. It is possible that they may have some insider news but using common logic you can say that majority of it is just a pseudo-science just like Technical analysis in trading.

I am not saying that they are bad. But if you are a sports enthusiast, its always the more healthy approach to develop your own charts for games, track records and outcomes to deduce predictions. Why waste money on someone who might be just bluffing you for their own gains?

I am sure people have heard about pump and dump groups where the owner tell his members that this coin would pump and while the brain-washed shills buy it the owner sells. Its similar here.

@TheUltraElite
They surely have no insider information. Their tips are based on some research that particular tipster has done on a particular match. The way I remember the service is that you receive a tip for example, Liverpool - Watford AH -1.25 and an explanation why exactly that prediction.

I agree that you should make your own luck and not rely on what others say. But again some people might fancy a service like this. I had mixed experience using them in the past. Both good and bad so anyone trying them out should be careful.

I think the results (ROI) are legit but if you tail it's extremely difficult to achieve the same ROI.

Reasons are: you need to place the bet at the same time as the tipster (obviously very difficult to do during your working time or sleeping time).
Second reason is the difficulty to have accounts at the most sportsbooks possible, for example all the UK sportsbook which now have a lot of country restrictions. And if you constantly win at bet365 they will restrict your account and you'll only be able to place very small stakes.

Betadvisor is a good tool on paper but practically very difficult to use for the above reasons. My 2 cents.

I was using betadvisor past few months and betadvisor site is really nice to get some good odd tips for tipster but now stop to using all tipster site and other services due to charging a high fee, it is batters to do some research and with our knowledge, it will be safe for our funds.

If I remember correctly the tipsters I followed when I used the site usually placed their bets on bet365 and sbobet. I think you can search in their profiles which sites they usually use and be prepared and create an account in advance. The odds do drop if you wait too long, that part is also true.
All selections are single matches bets only. No accumulators etc. The recommended betting amount was usually $/€100 per bet. Getting into a losing streak can become costly.

Sounds interesting. More like a social media for sport gamblers or no? I wonder if there are more of this websites in existence and if they pay the "profiles" or tipster..
What was your experience with the service? Was it profitable/reliable for you?

Indeed I doubt you can be a long term profitable bettor by using betadvisor because high ROI would only be interesting if achieved on Pinnacle. As you said most profitable bettors there have results based on bet365 ... Or even worse on 1xbet  :-\

The high charges of these sites are on the long run going to affect their earnings because losing customers is not good for business. Like you said that you were using it and the site appeared nice to you but stopped because of high fees. I have not used any such site so far just because of one reason and that is their high fees. I simply started learning on my own and same I will recommend to everyone.

Well this might be a good stuff, actually I never tried any betting service as I thought all of them are scams.

Glad you shared it here, I'm pretty sure a member like would not share a scam one, I'm gonna be exploring this kind of service and let's see if I could get some help to increase my chances of winning in sports.

If you desired to catch a good wins, then don't stop and find the best betting site that you think can provide you the best profit ever. I've haven't tried this site yet, but I am eager to discover their platform on how that works for good. However, being a victim on scam was a serious situation so we still need to be more vigilant on any possibility.

[/quote]I haven't use this kind of service but I totally agree with your recommendation. Higher fees are not good at all. It is much better that you learn it yourself and knowing the service that your going to use to keep our funds safe and sound. Better find the more lesser fees than higher ones.

It's not always high though, depends on which tipster you're following since the price they charge per month is not always fixed. The fees only looks high for a lot of gamblers because most of our bankrolls aren't enough to sustain paid tips regularly and still maintain a good profit so it's better to stick on our own predictions if you prefer getting the best profit as possible.

Scam on general sense but if we do talk it literally then its just considered as a service, you do have the will if you choose to tail with them or not.
It isnt bad to have a reference though and if you can shell out some dollars on seeing their records and tips then its up to you.You will find out if those
bets given are worthy or not yet there are statistics you can check on but same as yours im not really a fan of these stuffs.

I've never tried to use any paid tipster services, afaik most of the picks are just low odds (under 2) but I cant be wrong as I do not know about it to be exact. It is always better for me to bet based on my own prediction and researches. I will only use free tipster service as comparison with my prediction.

I never tried this service but if the price for one month is only 9 Euros I may give it a try and see if they are any good. This website is not that well known as I have not seen it in google when I search for daily tips or free tips for today games.Still if a service like this proved to be making you money online in long term it would be all over discussed here but it is not so I think this is just another just empty promises website.

I don't agree with this, your winning chances does not defend on a certain betting site..if you have a good skills in sports betting, you can win in any site because what's important on the site is that they can provide a competitive odds and they do the withdrawal and deposit processes in a timely manner.

With regards to what OP shared, I've never tried it yet although I am well aware about the service.

I am on betadvisor you can have a look at my picks here:
I use it to track my picks so that they are verified by a third party. The layout is good and easy to use and it keeps some good stats on your picks.

What was your experience with the service? Was it profitable/reliable for you?
Reliable - Yes.
You get picks via email, SMS and via the website. Sometimes they come late, one hour before match start and if you don't check your email/phone regularly you might be late.

Profitable?
It started out OK. I used different tipsters for a total of 4-5 months. The best month earned me just over €400, one month was like €50 only and another one resulted in a huge loss of -€700. It is luck, or bad luck, nothing more than that.

Interesting yield but unfortunately the sample is way too small (91 bets so far), I see the results are based on Pinnacle odds, which makes it interesting nonetheless.
Will keep an eye, if you can keep a 5% ROI after 1000 bets then you could also apply to be referenced with the secret betting club (they list all the tipsters that have verified results). Best of luck  :)

Indeed, it depends on how you make your own choices and how it will turned out the gambling site doesn't matter it depends on how you will play it. You can have some strategies and techniques in order to win but there will be no assurance that it will have positive result. You can play on different site and still experience losing money, if you have ever made some research then you've find out that it was a scam site then it's a good time to find a better one. Anyway, i'm not even familiar with it but i'm looking forward to try it since you had a good experience.

snip..
btw, I just heard the name of this service provider.. I once used tipster services like this but the results were disappointing, the tips they provide (Tipster services I've used before) are not very useful.  maybe later I can try this once, hopefully, it can be more reliable.

I never tried this service but if the price for one month is only 9 Euros I may give it a try and see if they are any good.
The price of that particular tipster is probably €9. Other more experienced tipsters cost more, up to €199 or more a month.
If you are planning to use the service check the previous bets and stats of the tipster you decide to follow. What kind of bets he makes and at what sportsbooks.

Yes I always do.There are other websites which offer tipping for free and tipping is tipping,it is no guarantee to get profit for the month you pay a subscription. If a tipster cost like 199 Euros I would never pay this amount as if I play this amount in bets with free tipping services I am sure it is better used.As for 9 Euros no problem to give it a try.

You seem to be having quite a profitable month so far. +817 points, meaning €817 of profits had I followed you. Probably more since I used to bet €100 per match and your bets are 40-80. I noticed that there are no previews or explanations what you base your tips on and reasons why someone should pick exactly those tips. Maybe adding some info to the tips can be good for you to get a better ranking on the site.

That is amazingly high amounts of earnings in gambling and I believe that you are in this game for a long time. You must have nice experience and extensive as well in this game. But I have same concerns that do share your tricks and tips with the newbies who want to make some decent money from this game instead of losing it all to the house. I believe we gamblers shall help each other in order to develop positive connotation of this game.

@huige007
You quoted my post above but I assume it was meant for krach. There is no secret to gambling success. It is based on luck and the research you are ready to do. Bet on the things you are familiar with. If you are into soccer, bet on soccer. If you watch cricket all the time then stay away from rugby because you probably don't know much about it.

Research the teams online, check their match squads, missing players due to suspensions, injury, current form... stuff like that.
