Typically you have to start with bitcoin. You might think this to be the best and most logical approach, but soon enough a certain group of people will keep on suggesting you to add altcoins. Due to demand you will end up having to add every other altcoin they ask for. You could go that way or not depending on your own choice.

Personally just add bitcoin payouts for now and see how the project works out. Then you could think about altcoins.

What payment type you will use, direct or some micro wallet? This is very important if you decide to go only with BTC and direct payments to users wallet addresses. In that case, you need to set a withdraw threshold to at least 20k satoshi if you care about your users and avoiding dust transactions. This leads us to the question of how long it will take for the user to reach that threshold.

You can use some micro wallet where users can withdraw and accumulate smaller amounts, or you can add an option for some popular altcoins like Doge or LTC which have very small fees and are suitable for microtransactions.

Just go with Bitcoin initially if you want to target the biggest audience. For my personal projects, I didn't even bother adding the altcoins because the demand isn't just there. Unless your Game is something really "Spectacular" and will attract all sorts of crypto enthusiasts and it will offer in-game purchases then you might want to add some altcoins in, if there aren't any then spend your time on other things.

I believe the integration of bitcoin will make your site to gain more traffic but if you want to make your site standout among others competitor, i will advise you to add altcoin like Dogecoin, ETH, TRON and Stablecoin.

I seconded to this one.Always consider BTC when it comes to initial phase yet we know that it always do give out different impression when we do talk about main crypto on here.

Peoples interest will normally spark out if they do hear out about btc payout option which is most preferable and as said if theres such demand for another alts then you should grant those request.

Little bit OT, do this game will convince cat lovers out there?  ;D

Bitcoin is must have thing on faucet/game. I can tell you from my long time experience in faucet world. Having only altcoin(s) on your website will make you troubles if want to make your website popular. Because people are mainly interested in Bitcoin and altcoin can work only as addition.
But Lucius mentioned very important aspect. You will have to set quite high payment treshold and it can took long months for users to reach. Many simply won't bother, others will fear to be scammed. So, paying through microwallet would be good thing. Though, after Faucethub closed, I'm not sure which microwallet you should select.
Doge is "outdated" currency, but it's still very popular in faucet world, mainly due to tiny fees. Litecoin is also worth to consider. I'm not big fan of Bitcoin Cash, but it's probably good option for faucet.

I like Dogecoin for faucets because the user feels like he is getting tons of coins and is cheap for the faucet to send the coins to the user. I remember the old times when faucets use to give like 20 Doges each hour. it was almost the same profit that the user gets to mine with a couple of CPUs.

Having the option to choose amongst all of the standard coins might be the better choice [it tends to attract more] but the first three [on your poll] would do the trick as well...

Use Bitcoin and Lightning Network, it's perfect for microstransactions like faucets, and your visitors won't have to deal with converting alts to BTC, which can cause a lot of fees that will make faucets rewards unclaimeable. Plus, you will help increase LN's adoption, and as an early adopter yourself, you will have advantage over other faucets that use older withdrawal methods.

If it will be just simple faucet then believe me, it doesn't worth to waste time on building that and if you turn on some fantasy, then it may achieve something but still I highly doubt.
You consider dogecoin as a potential coin, if I were you, I would see how many people play on freedoge.co.in and what's happening around it in overall, traffic and etc cause it's the product of famous freebitco and even freedoge is also one of the oldest one.
On another hand if you allow users to claim faucet + earn some coins from their CPU, it may attract them or faucet + your own software for HDD mineable coin.

In the faucet game, I prefer to use Bitcoin, it is better to use than altcoins. But your question and the poll above stated about the cashout. But when it comes transaction just like withdrawal I prefer to use altcoins, just because of the low fees. Here is my suggestion, using bitcoin in a faucet is good and when you want to pull out covert your bitcoin into ethereum or xrp which is very low fees and affordable. Your gambling site must have exchanger inside but for those limited altcoins only.

You might not want to start with BTC because of it transaction speed and fee. Dogecoin and TRX is a great option to account accumulate more of them instead of giving out fractions of BTC/ETH. It's going to be a win situation if they eventually moon.
