Hi Everyone!

I hope we're all having a great week.

I just published a quick article sharing the 3 exchanges I would recommend for any crypto trader getting into the market. What do you think? Which exchanges would you recommend to new crypto traders?

The 3 Exchanges For Every Crypto Trader In 2020 (https://blog.shrimpy.io/blog/3-exchanges-for-every-crypto-trader)

Looking forward to hearing your thoughts!

To those who feel too lazy to read the article, 3 exchanges sites which OP suggested are Kucoin, Coinbase and Bittrex

All of them are good exchanges, but if you are asking about my personal opinion, i would go for Binance, Poloniex and Forkdelta as the 3 best exchange site

Out of the three exchanges KuCoin imo is probably the best one to use for new traders since there's no verification needed. Coinbase isn't a bad option if you need an exchange that also accepts fiat but i'd look for other options before using coinbase because there's a lot of exchanges out there and one of them could be more convenient than coinbase depending on where you live and what payment options they accept.

I like Binance, IDEX and Cobinhood over your suggested exchanges because Binance holds a significant amount of real volume for each available coin there, I am a die-hard fan of ETH based tokens and like to trade them as selective tokens have some future potential, Cobinhood was my all time favorite because of their 0-fee structure but I am not using it right now.

~snipped~

I will not recommend any but instead, will give them a list of some of the reputable exchanges that might worth to put a risk. My good experience at my preferred exchanges might not be the same for them so better choose on their own.

Since different people have different preferences, I will let them choose what fits them based on their own research and analyzation. Of course, throughout their study, if they will need any assistance or have a difficulty deciding despite of their research, that's the time I will enter and give my own views about their chosen exchanges.

Nice article you have there although a bit-short (obviously other Infos might be seen at other articles so you decided to just share a quick insight of each?). Also, I like the disclaimer you always include at the end of each article you are publishing.

I am using Bittrex to trade but not as often as before since I started using Binance. Bittrex has been the platform that I used for quite sometime. I may have encountered a problem like my account was placed on hold without notice but it was resolved as soon as I addressed it to the admin. I haven’t used Kucoin, so I cant give a feedback on that one. As for Coinbase, I just use it to store coins before but not anymore because they ask for a lot of things to be submitted.

everyone has different views on exchange, there are lots of good exchanges, but what is popular and I have often heard is, binance, coinbase, kranken, I myself am not too concerned with exchange, the most important thing for me is that the exchange is safe and not scam.

Most of what we found so called "top exchange" are not true sometimes. Based on my experience, some of them are den of bots and crappy things that spam the exchange to fake the volumes. So you have it experience them yourself. P2PB2B is an example for that. What funny is they claim themselves as one of the best exchange out there. Try Binance or Houbi, good exchange and been operating for a long time. Also list only good altcoins in the market.

What I like most about the Exchange Side is Binance They are also a very reliable side like Kucoin and Coinbase They are very popular and most people exchange on this side. Here you can exchange very easily Do not exchange new services They are usually scammed Also you should have enough knowledge about the side at which to exchange.

I don't know why you included Bittrex in the mix, I think they are slowly getting fewer customers, based on what I see on the CMC website.

The idea of having different exchanges would be beneficial if you have a lot of capital, and you want to spread on the risk you are making. We all know that when you spread your investments, it would benefit you if someone were to hack a particular exchange, and you get to keep 2/3 of your capital (if you have 3 exchanges).

I would definitely include Deribit with the margin trading, you could take advantage of the long and short of the market, but I wouldn't suggest it to newbies though. It would be beneficial if you were to understand trading with the use of an automated cryptocurrency bot like Gunbot. (https://gunbot.ph)

Recommending those who are new to using cryptocurrency for the best and reliable trade exchanges to help them trade is a good thing, and in my opinion the 3 exchanges suggested by the OP are very good depending on those who are more understanding and comfortable using it.
and I am sure those who have long joined cryptocurrency have determined the best safe and comfortable trading market for them, and I myself have been trading using Binance so far because I feel comfortable even though there are many best exchanges in cryptocurrency.

Newbies should always go for the good exchanges and I do also recommend Kucoin, Bittrex and kindly include Binance because its already on the top list of good exchanges. Traders must consider this one before trading, having the best exchange can lessen your risk of losing money and if you do consider low volume exchange you must focus on that and watch your money well, don't let yourself to become a victim of  those scam exchanges, many already suffer on this.

Binance, Bittrex, and maybe the third one is my local exchanger. But honestly i am not really active in trading activity. Usually i trading when i think it is good coin to buy and my friend suggest it. When trading alone maybe pairing bitcoin and eth in my local exchanger because they already have some pairs of bitcoin and big altcoins.

Those three are decent exchange but I wouldn't say they are the best. I'm not sure how popular Bittrex is these days. It used to be one of the top exchange but I think those days are long gone. Bittrex is no longer one of the top exchange I would say.

Kucoin is a promising but not quite there yet. It has a good development over the past year but definitely still fall short of the top ones. The real top exchange, for altcoin at least, is Binance. Binance is the best altcoin exchange at the moment. Not sure why you don't discuss Binance further in the article.

Ill use 3 exchange before for trading and my experience for 3 is good.  I use coinbase way back 2016 i  remember they dont required KYC before so i am freely use that but after adding KYC i stop using it same thing with bittrex.
In kucoin is good platform for low capital traders because you dont need to make kyc for small trade the last time i use that exchnage is this year.

Missing binance on the best exchange? OP seems different while picking best.

Coinbase is definitely better exchange but for someone who don't like KYC they have lot other better options.

The one that I didn't like for bittrex is their KYC option before you can withdraw your funds and I didn't feel safe for that matters since asking for personal informations just to trade is to much although 3 exchanges is good but actually you are missing the top tier exchange which currently on the top right now and that is Binance,Kraken and Bitfinex.

I prefer Kucoin and Bittrex to trade, but I am curious why Binance is not on the list because, as a big exchange, Binance should have a good position among the other exchanges. Out of what happens to Binance, that exchanges have a big fan of trader who uses Binance for daily trading. Bittrex is an old exchange but still exist until today, and Bittrex has a lot of coins to trade, so I think Bittrex still have their fans who are trying to make a profit. But if you want to use an exchange that doesn't require KYC, then you can choose Kucoin and Binance because Bittrex needs to complete the KYC.

The three listed are quite reputable and unarguably famous ones out of the many exchanges out there. But I would still recommend Binance instead of the other 3. I've tried KuCoin before and used it for around 3-4 months, but still proceeded to switch back to Binance after that. A lot of people often compare these exchanges but it's really just a matter of preference, and well, location. Bittrex is pretty old already, quite past its prime unlike how KuCoin is developing these days, and how Binance can be seen to be at its prime right now. Coinbase is errr don't have many reviews on it since I really haven't used it.

Fake volume on the exchange now it is a public secret. Thanks to Bitwise for doing research and finding this fake volume problem with data.
And only 10 exchanges are recognized by Biwise as exchanges that have real volume, one of which is Binance. For Huobi it seems they are fixing their volume, because since 2019 the huobi has stopped misreporting the volume. (https://cointelegraph.com/news/few-big-exchanges-continue-to-report-fake-volumes-in-2019-chainalysis)

There should be list included in this post anyway I sometimes use Kucoin depending on my mood and if not listed in Binance. We all have objectives on why we use it. Over all Bittrex, Kucoin and Binance were all good just don't forget to secure our accounts. I will recommend Binance still, but among those in OP list I guest I'll choose Kucoin.

When it comes to Exchanges then i do only make use of 2 which is Binance and Kucoin.I havent tend to go back on using Poloniex due to some issues
but i might reconsider on using them up since they already separated with Circle and they might able to pull off again their previous glory days.
As far as i observed where most people do prefer on using Binance yet we know on which one is popular and been mainly used as of this moment.

Because Bittrex is a great company, although I'm a user with no sympathy for most exchanges in the United States, Bittrex is an exception. I like the way they work. Clarity and transparency are the best factors that Bittrex has kept.

Bittrex is also has a friendly support team. Not like Poloniex, I have waited more than 3 months just to got a reply about my KYC process. And they didn't apologize to me for the time they locked up my property while Bittrex did that. (;¬_¬)

interesting article, but unfortunately I have long left Bittrex since 2016, there are many pump and dump groups there so I decided to move to binance because the trading volume is always high making me interested to trade there, the rest I also used to play on the dex exchange like forkdelta and binance.org, but that doesn't mean what the OP recommends in the article is not good and safe, I've tried all three exchanges and all of them are quite safe

Those are good choice in my opinion.

But I also have my own list, just not that interested into making an article just like you did.
Binance, Okex and Kucoin. You got one of my most trusted exchange though.
Never have tried Coinbase yet.
Mostly Binance because I have BNB on my account and that makes it cheap every time I trade.

Local exchanges(1) are still important because the transaction process can be linked to a bank account with steps that are easy to understand. Kucoin(2) & binance(3) are also still favorites like the average comments here. For derivative trading, new traders can try deribit(+) that offer a simpler platform, and for DEX, can start from BinanceDex(+).

I would recommend Kraken, KuCoin and CoinDeal. First two are the platforms which I had been using some time ago for a long time. But now I recommend especially CoinDeal because of its fast development. There are a lot of special initiatives for their users like for example CDL Tokens which could lower your fees. Moreover, deposits in some currencies are free of charge.

I would like to pick out two from your three exchanges, I think both Binance and Bittrex are very potential and user-friendly exchanges for many purposes, the most important thing is the security for myself, that's why I always depend on Binance and Bittrex, except these two exchanges, I will recommend you for Coinbase, I think this is the best exchange on the current situation, for holding or storing your coin, Coinbase is renowned for this aspect, but I haven't used Kucoin so I don't have any observation towards this exchange, so I would like to recommend Coinbase, Binance, and Bittrex for the better exchange facilities.

Hard to pick best ones for everyone as you have limitations based on location. Some Chinese exchanges are limited for them only, and Americans should stick to their own etc etc. Taxes, KYC and many other things which you need to tailor for yourself while picking an exchange. Besides of these limitations you should be simply looking at whatever suited you personally.

Same with you, I will also go with the Binance exchange. This exchange is one of the great trading platforms that I have used and aside from having great coins that now belong to the good coins in the market and many members here have their account in Binance exchange. I do not have an account in Poloniex but I have some experience in using Forkdelta and it just like Etherdelta which you need to import your private key.

Binance is given, I wouldn't pick even the other two if that wasn't the question, I prefer binance over all other exchanges because they are both great at what they are doing, they have insane good security and whenever they got hacked they paid the customers first and took the hit themselves, they are always improving, they are adding new features and they are expanding to other nations as well for the fiat integration.

However, if I had to pick two other places I see kucoin as one of the best going around in the altcoin world right now and they do have a decent popularity and I would add coinbase on top of that because they are legally speaking one of the best ones out there with them being a legit company based in USA paying taxes and all that.

Missing binance on the best exchange?

he's probably only considering USA-friendly exchanges. kucoin, coinbase, and bittrex all welcome USA customers. binance does not.

i can't reach coinbase pro's upper maker fee tiers so it's no longer my top choice. it's probably the most expensive exchange in the world now. kucoin has the opposite problem---super low fees but liquidity is lacking. the BTC/USDT market on kucoin is good enough for me but i'd really prefer to trade a safer stablecoin/fiat base pair like USDC.

Well, every trader has their own exchange preferences. I mean the preferences apart from all basic tools, instruments, no KYC, good tech support, and high security. For example, I just can’t stand the terrible design of Coinbase. It just disturbs my eyes. On the other hand, we have Bittrex and Basefex with good and intuitive design among other great features.

IMO.. The 3 best global exchanges at the moment are Binance, Kucoin, and OkeX.  I am more active in Binance because the coins that are there are very reliable and the pair is very much when compared to other exchanges.

Yobit is one of the shadiest to me, misleading their users to buy a shit coin. They create stupid currency and give it the same currency code as another popular and real altcoin. Buyers buy it thinking they're buying the real coin while it's not the case.

Icoin is created with the currency code ICN, people buy thinking they're buying Iconomi
Boats and Bitches is created with the currency code BNB people buy thinking they're buying Iconomi Binance Coin
More example could be given

Wallets in maintenance for an eternity, randomly blocking users, ....
No idea why people still trust this platform

As far it concerns Yobit, they do this from the day that tokens created. A lot of people lost money following their so-called ICO/ IEO/ Pump crap of them. They continue to do it and nothing seems to stop them. People continue to trade and try to be rich in a millisecond...

I can't recommend a single exchange!
I used to trade with LocalBitcoins, bitcoin.de and Kraken, but their conditions have changed, more KYC, and all for the worse.

Since I'm not planning to sell any BTC before it's more than $20,000, there's no hurry.

To newbies, I can only recommend to go to the exchange with the cheapest fees to send or receive bank wires.

I'd have to say Coinbase for the newest of noobs, Binance for the intermediate trader and BitMEX or FTX for the absolute most advanced or experienced traders.

Anybody looking to try their hand at derivatives trading for the first time might also want to take a look at Koinpro.com, it's one of the simplest ones I've tried but doesn't have a huge range of options.

Beyond that, Bitfinex also has a good range of features for all experience levels.
