Hello, running a bit late again,...
So let's get started already, I hope everyone is on a very good condition this time even though holidays are pretty coming near.

What if,... you're just watching someone on a Casino that suddenly keeps winning for a streak then after that he notice you and gave some money as a tip for his luck. Would you use the money he gave you to try your luck on that game (or any game you like) ? Or just keep the money for yourself for a good cause?

So tell me, what's gonna be...

Use it use it why not? It's money, free, and well, was wished for luck. Hell I'd be lying if I'm not a selfish guy at times so yea. Might even sit with the guy and play beside him (if there was an available one beside him) and try to rub off some luck from him. Besides, in my book, spending money on what I want is a pretty good reason for a good cause tbh. We all live for ourselves at some point in time, and well, I'm at that part of my life atm.

Of course I will be using it for seeking lucky bets for my own, and I wouldn't mind losing it because it was just a free opportunity for possible lucky wins. Well, if that money would sustain for another expenses maybe I would use it to buy on some stuff like gifts for loved ones or some gift for this Christmas holiday season.

If he is winning and he gave a free bet to you then why not back the same numbers as he is betting on.   Many people would try to copy a streak, I would bet at least some maybe half on a similar bet to the ongoing streak basically.
You are obliged just a little bit to take an interest in the game after that.  Depends on your situation, if you just lost your taxi money home then maybe you say thanks and keep it so you are ok but mostly I would bet a little to hope I had just as good luck as my benefactor.

this happen to me sometimes  but occur mostly if i know the gambler playing because you know , i also love to chat and i know several users on the gambling site  and they know me also  .   

whenever they gave me tip , i just play some of those just to try my luck on higher multipliers but not to the point of busting them all  .  i still left some for me to withdraw it later once i hit the minimum withdrew threshold   .  sure money is still what matters the most on my case  .

If that happens I will probably spend them all on gambling again lol. Trying to multiply the tip until it reaches a certain amount valuable enough for me. Why? Because I'm in the casino. It would be kinda weird if I didn't spend the tips on the casino again. It happens in online gambling too. I think most tips in online casino was spent in that casino again.

It depends.If I were low on money I would keep it for a good cause.If this money is just some extra money to me at the time given I would surely try my luck in one of the slot machines or in the poker tables.This way I would have some fun for free because even if I would lose that money I would not care at all.

This had happened to me a lot before. When I go with my friends or my aunts/uncle when they gamble. I always spend it to gamble and it always doesn't end well, I always end up losing. So, whenever someone gives me money from their winnings, I spend it and don't gamble with it.

I will definitely keep the money if it's huge. Afterall I came to the casino to gamble, "get lucky" and "make some money", right?  I made the money already. Unless there are skill-based games available, i'm skilled gambler and confident in my ability to win some games, I wouldn't be taking another risk for that day

Depend on the amount of money from him that if he gave me small amount then i will used it to gambling to testing my luck whether i have similar luck such as him or not and if he gave me decent amount for me then i will thinking to bringing that money to home and won't take my risk to lost it

I'd spend it, use it on my enjoyment aka gambling. Hell why not right? Money IS supposed to be spent after all. But I'd only gamble the amount within my limits. Even if it wasn't originally mine, if Imagine I only gamble around 50$ per entry, I'd only gamble 50$ (If ever he gave me more then I'd keep it for another day). Plus, the guy might actually be looking for someone to play with. Might as well join him than run away after being given money right? At the very least, he knows where the money went.

I suspect casinos hire paid actors and rig things so they "win" big. To get people excited and enthusiastic about gambling, in the hope they will "win" too. Gambling websites also could do a similar thing where the site owner makes an account and claims to have won a large sum of money betting on their website in the hope of luring gamblers to bet on their platform.

There are legit gamblers that win big who might give another player a percentage cut of their winnings. In those instances, if a player unknowingly did something to help them win. Like say if the game was blackjack and one player hit, which in turn allowed another player to get the acard they needed to win big. Its been known to happen.

Depending on the amount, if I am satisfied with the amount then I would probably keep it, but if not, I will gamble it and try to grow it.

Maybe the guy who are in winning streak think I am lucky that's why I receive a tip, then I would try it myself too.
I've experience this kind of situation many times in the past, and most of the time I lose when I gamble the money that was given as a tip, but I will still keep trying besides that money is not originated from me.

Lucky for you if you are included to those fella that had been given some tips.If im included on that situation then i would consider on gambling a portion of it
where i would try out some of my luck because usually if you are watching on a gambling game with other people then for sure you do really have interest on
playing so if ever you were given some tips then theres no doubt that you would end up on playing and only a few would consider to use it for another purpose.

It depends how big of a tip I would get. I would rather take that money and cover my losses, if there are any. I don't believe in streaks, lucky or unlucky. I might gamble a bit but buying myself a steak dinner doesn't sound to bad either.

I also tend to do same thing thinking that it can be a good chance to earn bigger amount of money but it doesn't turn out great that is why I feel remorse after that incident, it makes me think for a much worth it things I can buy with the money though I understand that gambling can't assure you that you will always win. So if that's the case I'll just keep it and use for other things, particularly when I badly needed some money to buy other things that I need it's speculative so I have to say no even if it is going to entertain me.

I'll also make a bet, it's free money and you only make a bet from the money that you can afford to lose, maybe I have the same luck as he is and will return the money when I am also in luck, people giving money when they are having a run of luck and it's but natural to do whatever you want on that money.

I'll keep the money. Although, we probably have the same treatment for the free money that's given to us but I wouldn't gamble with that money if it's not that huge enough.

I think the same answer with others that if the amount is quite big, I'll get a portion to bet on the same as he does but if it's not suitable and pretty low amount I'll just walkaway happily with the money and thank him for that share.

Well, I guess it would depend on how much I need the money given at the time. If I don't any expenses or may be I am just killing time around I might use the money to try. And by the way, it also depends on how much money that certain person gave. If it is enough to play even one game then why not, right?

For me, I will use the half of money to play because we do not know if I also luck like him. Then, I will keep the half of money in my wallet. Maybe, my decision is just like a win win situation, because despite of losing the half of the money it is okay since I still have some money left from what he gave me. But, the best decision is keep it and do not use it to play again.

I experienced this scenario already with my cousin. He is playing card games and im on his side just watching. Then he won consistently for few rounds and earned good amount, he is aware of my presence so he gave me a tip.

Honestly I used that money to also try my luck in gambling (card game as well) but unfortunately I made a wrong decision as I lost it.

In this situation I might do the same mistakes again (because im sure I will be tempted) since its a free money and no one knows if I can make it grow or not, will just try my luck.

The tip or the money that he/she will give to me, I will used it on a good purpose maybe I will just use it to buy some goods and products like food and etc. or maybe I will try to gamble also the money that he/she give to me for some reason because maybe it is lucky and I can double that money by betting it or gamble the money so I will just try it if there is a luck on the money that they gave me. Otherwise the money is from gambling also so what's the matter if I will also use it as a fund to gambe, right?

I will definitely use that money to try my luck maybe that money will also be lucky for me and I will win in the casino jut like him lol. However, I think it is very seldom that a random person in the casino who is winning will give a stranger a tip unless it is someone he knows, anyways, I hope i'll encounter such when I play in the casino so that I can test if i'll be lucky as well.

It depends on the amount and also the situation.

If he's been consistently winning then i'll likely watch his bets and stake on them (without his knowledge preferably), or I could just bet in a game I've been monitoring, these would be my likely cause of action, except there is a pressing other need for the money.

I will keep the tip, not all the time you receive a tip and if a person is winning a decent amount of money, that tip should be in good amount as well.
That tip should be enjoyed, I will spend that maybe to buy some drinks and just have fun because it feels like i also won.

That is actually the strategy where most people win in the gambling. It is not in the game that you win, it is in the decision on how you manage to get the most out of the winnings you've achieved. My strategy is like this, I play depending on the time I've alloted, and I've already estimated how much I could spend, merely, for a 5 minute game per day, It doesn't matter for me if I lose or win, as long as I know I can control my money for me to not lose too much. Because for us, the greatest lost is when we are hit by our defeat psychologically so why to bet too much.

Gonna wait for that someone to leave and try my luck. Why not, i've been there watching this stranger and saw how he plays. I should have atleast got some technique of this player on how he did it. Also, I go to casino not just to watch someone playing but also to play and try to win. Getting away with the tip? I ain't that kind of person especially I've seen how that someone won with my naked eye. Words like "I can also do it" will be probably stuck in my mind upon receiving the tip.

I would gamble with the money he gave me since the guy probably expects me to gamble and try my luck using the money he gave me. I would play the same game
(only if the game playing is either poker/blackjack/roulette but if not I'd either of the three) but I wouldn't gamble in the same table with him since some gamblers
consider it as bad luck and I'd like to respect that.

I am in a casino so I will probably spend it on blackjack or dice. It is free money coming from a lucky player. You'll never know, he might have passed some luck to me and gambling with it might get me some good profit. If not, nothing lost.

I will play and see my luck I have nothing to lose since it was given to me by a guy who is having good luck that evening, who knows if I can tip other guys also if I got lucky coming from the tip the guy has given me, it's normal to give a tip when you are having luck, every gambler are doing this.

I will just throw that money on some casino games to see how lucky that money is,probably I will lose but just trying my luck with that luck rewards from another gambler.

If I were playing in the casino and not just spending time with my friends there for sure I would only gamble with a limited(set) budget so if the money I get from the generous person is exceeding that I would keep it an use it for other matters like buying myself some treats or maybe investing in something if it's a more significant amount.. or maybe I would have played to keep attracting money from him haha maybe even drinking a couple of drinks with him.

In my own personal opinion, if someone gave me some money as a tip for his luck, i would rather play the money that he gave to me to also try my luck because nothing will lose to me, even i lose all the money that he just gave to me because it is just a tip from someone. It will be also be cool if i also win a streak because of the money he gave to me.

^ You did not mention how much the amount of money as a tip from the lucky winner you have said. But for me, it will depend on how much amount he gave on me. If that is a penny amount, I would rather keep that money he gave and if that is a huge amount, probably I will split into two and save the other half and the remaining will gamble in the casino. Of course, that is free money that you did not expect, once you have lose that is fine. Nevertheless, this story is possible to happen. No one will give at the random people that he did not know.

this does not happen to me yet . most of the high rollers that i see are not even chatting and some chat sometimes but they didnt notice me or give me a tip but i can only recieve a  tip on some users that are not a high roller and also on rains as well  . yes i play them and i try my luck to see if i can win some but if i loose then its okay i loose  .  i can accept it easily because its only a money by others and not the money that directly came from my pocket  . it would be cool to win big on thier money but unfortunately it didnt happen yet on my side  .

Well yeah, you have a point and that tip deserve to be enjoyed like treating our family, of course if it's quite big but if not I'll just buy some comfort food.
Though this scenario could happen to anyone but with my experience, some people won't give you tip out of nowhere unless you had a chit chat with him and you somehow get his trust.

They only do that's for a person who really addicted to playing at the casino.

They will not give a random person with that amount, cause they will know he will run out with the money. But it was really different from a person who really addicted and has a gambling problem, he will use that money for playing to casino instance running out with the money.

Anyway, this could be kind of promotion too.

Depends on what would be my mood on that particular time yet we cant really say if we wont really have those gambling tingling sensation to that
time since you do know that you've given something which can really give out the chance on playing gambling without spending your own money.
In my part then ill surely gamble yet you arent risking everything since you've just given a tip.

Regarding the What If statement, i would not take the tip as it will transfers his bad luck to me , why would i be taking tips when i can earn money myself and use it for gambling.

No one will willingly give a tip to random people, this what if statement is a very impossible thing to happen. But okay let us assume, I will not refuse the tip and I will play in any game on the casino that I familiarize. Who knows and no one knows that the amount he gave will make my wallet full of money when I leave the casino. That is also an opportunity and that probably the reason for having a huge gain from gambling if I'm losing it all, who cares that is not my money.

It depends on my mood though but if someone give a huge tip to me then I would gladly play some of it. But I wish there were someone out there who would give me a tip though even though I am just watching them trying to gain their strategy. :D
Gambling is more fun if almost everyone is just like that, but in reality it's so rare to find someone like that. :D

Surely it is a not a big deal if you're going to try your luck playing the game too especially you have nothing to lose since the money was just given to you.
But still, it is also a good option to just to save the money that the guy gave to you either, it is still risky since it is a casino or a gambling game.

It was just given to me buy the winning guy I think I will just going to play it and try to be luck too I think it was a good try even if I lose the money and it is a also a great day I win and make a profit in that money from the guy gave me, Also it was fun playing or gambling so I have no complain even if I lose or win the game either way.

If I was given huge money then I just wanted to watch a gambling game, which means I don't have interest in playing it so I'll save it for my future expenses. If I wanted to play gambling and suddenly have a chance to bet, then I'll spend a little then save the rest.

On that part, I've already won, why would I spent it again if I'm already entertained watching the gambling game then received money from a gambler.  

A poll sounds better along with posting. Not everyone would have a read through my post which is being posted in the third page of the topic, but if someone reads this here are my thoughts.

I would rather keep the money myself instead of wasting them by gambling it. As 'Hydrogen' said, the casinos and gambling companies are rich enough, they would wait for the gambler to lose and they really don't need this money and speaking by the fact, I don't gamble a lot or would never do frequently and hence spending the money for my own cause or helping someone with this would help either myself or the one who seeks help from me.

If we were to lose in the gambling game, the money goes in the hands of casinos which would make profits with that and would pay for the future winners who might be hardcore gamblers and would lose the money again to a casino.

Well, first of all, I would definitely try to win or invest money in a casino, maybe not that game, because I am not superstitious to think if he won that I would win.
But if I like how he plays, I would like to try, I would ask him for tips, but I wouldn't do it for the money then, I would just try. But the next day I would come and try the same thing he did, I don't like to copy people.

Well this is how business works and if you dont like for these casinos to get even more richer then you would definitely not tend to play with those free money that youve get.

As for me  i would keep those money and leave out that place yet you would surely be tempted to spend it out since you are on a place where you can gamble, this will
matter on oneself discipline towards gambling.If you cant resist then youll end up on playing.

Oh well, it seems that we just have to start all over again and always be on Monday so we can keep the activities on a fair manner for everyone.

Obviously, you are in a casino, so definitely I will take the risk and play and hope that I can win.

I have encountered this countless times, someone relatively unknown, give me some money, then I play it, and I would say that the result is 50/50. Sometimes I got lucky and win, and then there are times that I lost relatively quick.

Its free money and a lucky gambler gave it to you so if I will be in the situation, I will use it and will bet on the side of that lucky gambler too since I know that he is winning consecutive times already.

I don't see any reason to keep it unless there are better things that you can do with it such as if you don't have any transportation funds or you are very hungry at that time and you don't have money then you will be choosing the other one compare to gambling it but for greedy gamblers out there, for sure they will still gamble it even they are hungry or don't have transportation funds.

Transferring of money does not mean that you also take the bad luck of the person  too :D
If you are getting free money, you should take it and enjoy.



what if means something which happens very rarely or may not happen forever. Like i have been going to casino for years but never ever anyone gave me a single buck for free. But these are good situation to think that they actually happen and what will be our reaction.

Maybe you are not aware of the Spiritual Laws that says that you can increase your wealth if you give free money to others. In some places people even spend money on others to gain more  health and happiness.

since he Gave me money because of his winning streak then i don't see any reason why should not go along his bet(but only if the game he is playing allows side bets but if not?then i should try another game because it is practical since i have nothing to lose from my own pocket.and thats the reason why i am in casino to play right?

It is free money. I will use it to have some fun. I do not think that "someone" intends that money to be used for a good cause since we are in a casino. I am sure he expects me to use it in the casino and enjoy it, so that is what I am gonna do.

and i think most of the time that a gambler becomes expectator is because we have already done meaning no money in pocket and loses it all.
so having generous person to give us tip may consider our luck and giving us a chance to play and win again.
though i remember when we were young and playing local games this is our style when playing with friends,if one of us is winning he will tip the losing one so we can continue playing together.

If it was me, I will use it. It is like having a faucet in a gambling site that gives you a chance to play and win at the same time even without having money in your pocket.
I do agree, since you are already there, and there is no need to stop yourself from playing and to have fun. Someone already gave you money to start to play and that is a good start for me.

It's free and I have nothing to lose if I use it to bet, I can bet bravely bet because it was given to me free, there's a saying gambling with money that you can afford to lose, who knows I might also make a good winning with this tip and I can also tip other gamblers, or I can repay him with my winnings coming from his tip.

If I receive a tip i'll most likely gamble it because there's no specific amount mentioned. I could also split the amount, withdraw half of it then gamble what's left if the minimum withdrawal is low enough for me to move half out.


I disagree that these kind of scenarios are impossible you either don't spend much time lurking or gambling in online casinos. A lot of popular casinos have an option to give out tips or something similar like rain on their chat box. There's always people who would suddenly send tips but it doesn't happen quite often.  

rain in the chat box often happens on the dice gambling sites some of which I know of like 999dice and primedice, but for now, I don't know whether it still exists or is rare. precisely such a thing happens a lot on online gambling sites, I am one who often expects it, not much only get around 0.001, and that I use to bet. unless they give a large enough I will withdraw it.

i will consider this as my luck since without capital i gain money?i think i will just go home with the tip.not unless the streak of the man is continues so i will bet with him using that money he gave me.

int his way i gamble not using my own money and i will lose nothing at all.

does anyone know about luckybit? I was there long enough and often get tips or rain from chat box, Yahoo manager in this forum is one that I know there. I often get quite a lot of bitcoin there, but unfortunately, that was a few years ago and now it may not be there or it's hard to get it. the things I do when I get tips, some I use to gamble again. no problem with losing, because I get from there and lose from there too.

That's a blessing, I did not ask for it, it was willfully given so I will have to keep it.
Sometimes we just want to watch a winning gambler in the game, and just enjoy what he is achieving but we are not really expecting for a tip, but in the situation it's a surprise so I would be very thankful with that.

In my own opinion, i could actually play the money that was given to me as a tip because maybe i could also have his luck, so that i could also experience a win streak too and win a lot of money. It is also okay if i lose all of it because it is just a tip.

Basically that's not a tip coming from a generous gambler, but rather a shares from a blessing he had received. Expectations for any tip, couldn't be generalized because we can't be sure for other gamblers if they're generous with his winnings.

I would copy his bets if that's an open gambling. Not a chance when it's cards based game but I'll not be taking the money without first doubling it. It's either double or nothing. It's a badluck to take money with you that isn't earned by yourself. And sharing of money in gambling shares the bad luck.

When playing poker, I rarely tip the dealer, simply because it reduces my EV. With that said, if I saw somebody tipping the dealer regularly and getting a ridiculously lucky beat while playing against me, I might be inclined to suspect that he's cheating.

However, this would be incredibly bold, and I doubt anybody would actually be so direct to bribe the dealer right in front of everyone else.

With that said, tips dont influence your luck in the slightest, there is no benefit to giving a tip, other than the fact that the dealer might favor you if any disputes occur at the table—which means this is only important if you play regularly.

Most likely it's not a tip if you're just a bystander and wanted to watch him play but if you're giving him that helps him to play good, we can call it as a tip. I can also say that most of the gamblers are generous especially when they win, it's just money for them and being generous is also part of their character when winning. Tip or not, it's very lucky if you've received money from a winning gambler out of nowhere.

It's rare to have that kind of situation besides many of us gamblers cares only about ourselves, it could be one of the impossible things inside the casino.

Im gonne use that, why? Because I want to try my luck and make some good strategies as I am watching him carefully in his game. It could be an open opportunity for me, because it is too unusual for someone to give money to others that they aren't connected nor familiar. Keeping it wont make me feel grateful, and it cant make me grow.

To be honest...If that is a big amount just like $500. I'll keep half of it and I gamble the rest. It maybe I have luck also and I can make money from it. I have no reason to worry about if ever I'd lose cause that is considered as free money. Even it looks like that but of course, we have to place in good bets for it could have a chance to win also and not just wasting it.
