Title: 2020 NBA Hall of Fame Candidates Post by: OgNasty on December 20, 2019, 04:52:12 AM Below is the list of 2020 NBA Hall of Fame player candidates (top 41 by % win shares, full list here: https://www.basketball-reference.com/friv/hof.fcgi).
A couple of discussion points... Which of these candidates do you think is a lock to be in the 2020 Hall of Fame class? I think Tim Duncan, Kevin Garnett & Kobe Bryant are as good as in with obvious first ballot Hall of Famer status. I think Chris Bosh is also very likely to make it in. The reason I went up to #41 one this list is because I'm curious what people think about Chris Webber. Growing up a Kings fan, Chris Webber was a local hero. I'm sure most Kings fans think he's a for sure a Hall of Famer, but I've always thought his accolades always fell a bit short. Specifically, the lack of any Finals appearances, a low number of All-Star appearances & not being a Top 50 scorer or rebounder. Do you think Chris Webber will get voted into the 2020 NBA Hall of Fame class? 1 Tim Duncan 2 Kevin Garnett 3 Kobe Bryant 4 Shawn Marion 5 Chauncey Billups 6 Buck Williams 7 Horace Grant 8 Terry Porter 9 Larry Nance 10 Elton Brand 11 Detlef Schrempf 12 Jeff Hornacek 13 Otis Thorpe 14 Chris Bosh 15 Bill Laimbeer 16 Sam Perkins 17 Rasheed Wallace 18 Andre Miller 19 Eddie Jones 20 A.C. Green 21 Ben Wallace 22 Kevin Johnson 23 Amar'e Stoudemire 24 Mark Jackson 25 Terry Cummings 26 Rashard Lewis 27 Hersey Hawkins 28 P.J. Brown 29 Charles Oakley 30 Clifford Robinson 31 Shawn Kemp 32 Glen Rice 33 Anthony Mason 34 Antawn Jamison 35 Sam Cassell 36 Dale Davis 37 Derek Harper 38 Rod Strickland 39 Michael Finley 40 Tim Hardaway 41 Chris Webber Title: Re: 2020 NBA Hall of Fame Candidates Post by: Questat on December 20, 2019, 02:02:03 PM Honestly I am not aware of how it is just to be in the hall of fame.
However, looking at Chris Webber's stats, I can say that he has a good record and although I was not able to follow his journey a lot in his time but I know he was also popular at his time, I just remember him playing with the sacramento kings. https://www.basketball-reference.com/players/w/webbech01.html Based on the https://www.sportsbookreview.com/picks/nba/nba-legends-eligible-for-2020-basketball-hall-of-fame-odds-to-be-inducted/110632/ he was not listed their and the top players with big probabilities are the following. Quote Hall of Fame Probabilities Tim Duncan 100 percent Kevin Garnett 100 percent Kobe Bryant 100 percent Chris Bosh 99.5 percent Amar'e Stoudemire 72.9 percent |
