Libra is already facing Financial Legal bullshit from the UA & Europe, it's not gonna be an easy road map to be honest.
They already tried to tackle it down when they told Facebook to acquire a banking license if they wanna made this tokenization of their money.
Libra i gonna be the best that happened to crypto since it will be the biggest marketing for cryptosphere & blokchain technology in general.

Facebook seems to be launching their coins later in 2020 despite all the problems being faced by Facebook, both partners who have resigned, and also financial problems that are considered to violate American law, with the completion of their roadmap project, of course this is a sign of Facebook have strong encouragement and confidence if their project will run successfully later, hopefully with Libra will make bitcoin and other cryptocurrency have a positive impact.

it looks like that the development of libra is still running at this time and that's a very interesting thing

https://cointelegraph.com/news/libra-updates-white-paper-removes-dividends-for-libra-association

Libra has already updated its WP a few weeks ago. It looks like the partner of libra will become the nodes and that will be controlled by a lot of big companies. is libra slack workspace opening for the public to join in?

Libra will definitely be heavily tested by fire and brimstone and this is something nobody can deny as the platform is gearing itself under many countries' regulatory constraints. However, I am still believing that eventually Libra will make it, it may not be fast as they intended but over time it will be reaching its many high goals. Not that I do admire Libra as I am one of its many opponents actually but knowing the resources available at the disposal of Facebook I am sure they can find the ways to be approved and expand globally. One thing for sure is that things are going to be an uphill battle.

It seems to me that it would be better for Zuckerberg to abandon his Libra project. Since earlier the finance ministers of the countries of the European Union announced that they would tightly block the circulation of this coin on their territory, Libra without the European market will not be able to become that global stable coin as it was planned earlier. In addition, now about 70 percent of all states declare their intention to issue their own national stable coin. Libra will be very difficult to compete with them.

I believe Libra will keep going and built their own market by use Facebook brand as magnet. USA and Europa still not agree with Libra in specific regulation but like or not I must say they afraid if Libra become the main competitor from government financial instrument like commodities, stock and mortgage. Another reason is Libra has everything they need and maybe no work with other project/ institution and it will make Libra can't control by anyone/ anything. Let's them fight and as users we only need to follow the progress, enjoy it.

I heard rumors that the US government will announce regulations related to stable coins and I think this has triggered libra to renew their whitepaper and roadmap, so that they can match and comply with government regulations.

So there are no more obstacles if someday libra will be launched.

Later on its for the public to decide if they will patronize this Facebook coin, for me no chance that I will use their service in the future. Probably their growing influence makes them very enthusiasm in pushing the project despite criticisms, guaranteeing no signs of discouragement.

From roadmap #2 it is clear that Libra will not stop halfway because of the issues that have hit it lately. I think if later libra has circulated to all users, gradually the regulation can also be negotiated. Even though Europe prohibits libra, I think people who understand crypto will definitely use libra also secretly or openly.

It is encouraging to see that a massive project like libra is here to go on and will continue its journey in the digital payments arena, i just hope that this project would be decentralized as too much control or regulation will make it a private banking company than a crypto coin.

Yes, they have changed the whitepaper and legal issues with the government are gradually being resolved. And with these positive developments, I believe that Libra will soon be launched in 2020 and 2021, this is definitely the most awaited cryptocurrency and it will help this market boom.

I want Libra coin to launch and let the community and the regulators judge on how they perform on how to run their platform, besides they are heavily regulated and under the keen observation of regulators, Facebook is trying to prove something to all of us here and it has become a challenge for them, what they are going to do when they launch.

Libra doing a lot of things to improve their technical work, but all its actions are useless until they resolve their problems with the US authorities. I think this project will be very successful in the future, but I don’t understand when they will be able to start. I assume that this will not happen in 2020. it is possible only at the end of 2020, but even in this case, I consider the chances of launching very low. 2021 is already more real

I wish the Dev good luck but it appears as if it will not be easy with Libra considering all the opposition here and there. Even if he tried to push on, i just feels that his effort might be fraustrated sooner or later.

I'm not a fan of Libra but it's great to see the confidence of Facebook in going on with Libra without a proper deal from the US. This could mean many thing.
But prominently, Facebook realized the importance of crypto and admitted by opening the HQ of Libra in Switzerland that US is no longer the place for new ideas and they can flourish without the US market.

Libra will prove himself. It is not surprising that states take a stand against the Libra. The Libra will have a greater economic power than many states. How many currencies do you know without government? Blockchain is starting a new era.

Maybe this version will get less problems from the lawmakers around the world but they already got punished and called to testify because of this so I doubt they could fix it in a way that would apply to all worlds rules at the same time and it is not even their fault, how could you create a currency which in itself is very difficult for a legal company to build, that would also apply to all laws all around the world at the same time? It is difficult to do that with just one country, to do that with all countries is basically impossible.

I don't blame facebook for why they are failing but I do blame them for creating this hype for something that would be basically impossible to achieve. They knew what could possibly happen when they tried it and they went for it anyway, they must had some backup plan in mind.

I don't understand a thing. If Libra made such an update, why can't we see the official source? The link here leads us to a different website, which does not belong to Libra.

Is there an official announcement?

Why would anyone trust Libra when they incapable of keeping the personal info of their customers safe? It isn't the first time FB leaked info. We have no idea whos info was leaked and exactly what info it is. It could be innocent but it could also be very important info. I dislike FB as it.

It' s already proved itself incapable of protecting us.

I don't want FB involved with crypto. Look how greedy those @#$%ers are already?? They already print out money charging for ads. I don't even want to know what they think of next.

This is their official website.

IMO, Libra will not launch by 2020 or if they will it will be hard for them to even launch at once. I'm now starting to realize that the resemblance of what Mark Zuckerberg did to the Winklevoss twins with their idea of FB before is starting again and repeating itself.
