Title: Scammers Posting accusations so that they can threaten/push Bitball (BTB).
Post by: Bitball_Erc20 on December 25, 2019, 01:24:03 AM
Hello everyone,
We created this post to see if any other projects or Coins had to deal with threats like:
1. Forcing a particular project to buy their tokens at higher (5-10 times etc) the price or they will accuse us (Bitball BTB) of being scams and will post or start a thread on Bitcointalk forum.
2. Accusing or targeting the same project, contacting (wasting our time & funds) and threatening that if we don't listen they will post on BitcoinTalk forum.
3. Contacting again with different id saying the same thing and getting others involved to put more pressure on the project.

Now the question is, because some of these scammers or smart blackmailers have chosen this platform (BitcoinTalk forum) as a medium to threat Bitball BTB,
Does it make other people also get involved in their schemes?
Does it make the project being accused of scam, look bad straight away?

The other question we have is, do the members perform any investigation before believing in project being a scam or does the project looses its respect straight away.

BitBall (BTB) started last year (july 2018) with no ICO or Sales, all the investment is done from our side. All the current Circulation was airdropped for free for decentralisation, hence the starting price was quite cheap or made up by the airdrop hunter.

We don't plan to sell our reserves but adding more and more utilities and exchanges to Bitball portfolio.
Till now listed on nearly 40 exchanges and a lot of use cases including a Barter platform similar to Ebay or gumtree but based on cryptocurrency and fiat.

Thank you for your time.

1. It could happen but so far they are only a minority.
2. Same as above.
3. Same as above.

Most members here have some brains. We are not that stupid who will believe anything that's posted by an anonymous user. If there's nothing wrong on your side then you should not be afraid of blackmail like this.

From the looks of it, looks like some holder are unhappy about your current price and trying to force you to give them a better profit and then leave you for good.

Please format your accusation appropriately or move it somewhere else. Right now it sounds like a promotion for your project since you're not providing any details of the alleged blackmail.

Can you tell us who's blackmailing you?

I looked at your ANN Thread and I don't see many people making posts, since September until today on your ANN Thread there are only less than 10 people who posted to your ANN Thread, so I suppose you are talking about this member:

@jfcrock51 (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=2648551)

I am right or not?

Scammers everywhere. Too many on bitcointalk forum, using it to threaten projects.
