There is a question in my mind that alarming in my mind for few days. I am a new member here but in replies the senior and hero members that knows cryptocurrency news at very large amount. Will YouTube or Google launch it's own cryptocurrency?
I am hearing for few days that the Facebook launched libra coin. Is this news is real.
I want to more work at bitcointalk but i confused for it's hard amount of rules.
Anyone help me that what topic that I select for making topics and learn crypto knowledge by reading posts and I will be able to become a senior member.

I will answer what I know that Youtube and Google did not launch their own coins and they even had time to reject cryptocurrency ads, and Youtube also recently banned cryptocurrency videos on YouTube.

No youtube didn't announce anything about releasing a token for itself. Google as we knew it is listed in Nasdaq, I think if they are going to be into blockchain, it would have to be by the initiative of Nasdaq to blockchainize the stocks of google.com. But its going to have a hard time ranking due to merit system in the forum and by the sound of it, you not an English speaker  like me.

Its quite surprising what people post on this forum.  Why will you be thinking that youtube might launch its own crypto coin? I think you should spend time reading posts on the forum before deciding to make or create a post. There are a lot information on this forum.

We never predict the future innovation in any platform, so I expect it will possible on further years. But they confused in libra projects, facebook was not launched in currently so it will take some time and number of growing projects are available in the market. We can active in this forum we will increase the crypto knowledge.

I don't think so. There is no benefit for Google (at this point) releasing their own coin. Not that they could not, maybe they will wait and see how it goes to certain someone.

But in my opinion corporations should stick to accepting Bitcoin rather than making "yet another", most likely destined to fail.

There are so many questions on your post. I think you need to make your every post a simple and concise one so that answers will not be confusing.

Everything is possible in Cryptocurrency. Youtube and Google could possibly launch their own token or coins. Facebook have already done that and so I believe that every social media platform can do that also.

As far as I know, they don't have any intentions to join the crypto space.

Facebook have Libra but that doesn't mean other popular and big companies will also do the same. For YouTube, they haven't nor didn't announced about them having their own cryptocurrency. We just recently have the issue between YouTube and crypto related videos, and that's just it. No news about creating own currency.

any big company located in US has to be super crazy  to attempt creating their own cryptocurrency after what happened to Libra (the facebook coin). all the drama and all the attacks from all sides that it is receiving is a lot of headache that nobody wants.
by the way just because they removed a bunch of crappy crypto related videos which were either scamming or misleading people doesn't mean they want to create their own coin.

For now? There is no news regarding that. We all know that they have their sight on crypto but for the unknown reason, they don't yet to release any statement about launching their own cryptocurrency.

But I also can't possibly launch YouTube coins myself because YouTube is already famous from the first.

You have to look at the business point of view of Youtube or Google. Will there be any incentives for them in they launch their own crypto currency? Or will it just complicate things on their end?

We have seen a lot of backlash from Facebook's Libra and I'm sure Youtube have seen them so I doubt that they are going to go that route. Doesn't make sense at all for a big company like them to get the attention from US SEC, the Senate or even the EU.

I think the threads that you are saying is about the recent issue where crypto-related videos on youtube have been deleted. But there is no information about them releasing its own crypto.

Being famous is not related to creating crypto, even if they are already famous, they need to get along with the trend. It is a matter of when and why for them.

After what happened to Facebook when it announced 'Libra', I dont think Alphabet or Google or Youtube even think of announcing a cryptocurrency of their own. Recently Youtube tried to delete and strike crypto channels. Its not the time for them to even plan for a crypto.

Google possibly yes, maybe in future, actually no one know what corporation do to develop their business. Like Facebook which unexpected that they will make their own crypto like Libra. But for youtube, i don't think so because youtube itself is a product from google and maybe it will all hold and developed by google itself.

Honestly, you don't need to take that concern as a big deal. Unless someone from that big giants will make an official announcement about launching their own coin, disregard all rumors and speculations for now.

Regarding youtube, they haven't launched crypto coins themselves to date and I haven't heard that even youtube has such an idea, this requires a long time and long process certainly.

No one know if these giants would tend to create their coin on their own but for now they arent giving out any signs or hints that they would do such thing.

Next, where did you get that news on FB launched libra coin? It is indeed real but still this coin isnt there yet due to lots of criticism and no support when it comes to legal matters.

No one know if YouTube are planning to make one. People may think they would because of the recent event happening but it's not enough to say they would. It is unlikely they will try to follow what Facebook are doing that making Libra coin is a change. I don't think it has an effect if YT will make one.

for google no i dont think they will  . i havent seen any rumors about them that they plan on creating thier own cryptos  . 

for youtube , youtube was recently the reason on why some crypto videos were removed on its own platform so i dont think they will create thier own crypto either   . facebook , that plan was just merely a rumor because its been a long time since people speculate about libra coin but until now no libra coin were seen on the exchanges  .

All those giants will be silent for a while now eventhough they have the plan to do so. What happened to Libra and Facebook is still very fresh for any BIG name like Google to surface now. They even banned and deleted any crypto Ads. It might be in the future but assumingly not now.

i'd be amuse to see google announcing they'd be releasing a coin though. of course this confirms how enticing blockchain is for them. spectator like China will just be watching the government trying to regulate everything and yet these big companies powerful enough to run a country are joining to dignify blockchain. it would be a centralize coin of course but then lets wait if google will do announce.

A lot of businesses and countries are starting to adopt blockchain technology, so I think there would be possibilities that google might be planning to create their own cryptocurrency sooner or later for them to have a competition with Facebook's Libra coin. But there are sudden issues about YouTube mistaken deleted some crypto related videos on their site, so it is unclear to us if google would really create it's own crypto.

It's a very slight possibility, maybe just on an experimental basis. Other startup social and video platforms launching in the near future will be the testing ground before a resounding yes from a giant like Google/YouTube.

They maybe testing the water and checked if it will be impacted to their business. There's no limitations if YouTube will plan to have their own version

Not at all unthinkable, that youtube or google will launch crypto coins, and that seems to be a very doubtful thing, considering it is located in a US location, and it must comply with all existing rules. Facebook will release Libra coins and that is only a discourse, there is no clear news about the road map. Why do you think Youtube channel will launch their own crypto, does they have many experience before creating new coin and how to promote it to public, most important question will investor interested with their own coin because Youtube have try to banned bitcoin and how come their coin will be success without listing and have connecting with bitcoin or altcoin.

AFAIK YouTube has revealed no such plans of launching there own CC. They are doing good with with fiat currency. I don't think it will be in there interest to divert there attention towards management of CC. Even if they launch any such thing it will be purely a centralized one, in which every coin will be backed by a video :)

I think that such giants as Google or YouTube simply do not need their own cryptocurrency. I believe that it will be the most useless thing that they can come up with if they want to make their own cryptocurrency. nobody will need it. In such large corporations employ very smart people and they all understand this very well.

It really depends, maybe in the future the company need to implement or atleast creating their own currency for their platform sort of token using blockchain technology no one knows but one thing for sure is the fact that technology is always advancing and company like Google always invest so much into developing and adapting a new technology.

No way. I see no reason why these big companies would launch their own coins. They have no business in cryptocurrency. What they might do is using blockchain for something, that's possible but I don't think they have found something useful with blockchain yet. But absolutely no cryptocurrency.

Honestly, I don't think even 1% that Google may launch a crypto coin! Google banned the crypto ads many times, they announced Google will block all the crypto ads permanently though they withdrew it. Therefore Google will get stuck by the SEC regulations and Trump will not allow it for sure. In the future, they can come to crypto like the  JPM coin, which is not crypto actually!

I do not personally think that they have any incentive to do so. Especially when they are actively banning bitcoin related videos and advertisements on google and youtube, it seems a little bit contradictory if they were to take a positive stance on crypto after all.

YT lacks the conversational elements of FB. Of course a utility token could be issued to potentially pay for youtube premium, but that seems a bit redundant imo.

If Facebook proves to be successful with Libra regulations, maybe Google and even other companies will think of taking part of their own coins because they are very ready with the initial foundation of fiat monetization from the start and only need to do some system development. I think Google is in a position to wait because every large company is very careful in doing something that can affect company stock.

Youtube is a common platform for the Google giant, instead of having a separate cryptocurrency that has it, google developing a shared cryptocurrency for the whole ecosystem is more reasonable.

In reality we do not need every company coming up with their own token or crypto and that will not help anyone in the market, we have BTCitcoin and it can be used for every transaction online and if everyone is coming up with their own coin then what will be the face value of every individual market. So rather than thinking about a different coin from every major fin tech company let them use BTCitcoin.

It's not true that as the latest announcement if all of the banned that happened with the crypto ads and especially youtube videos related crypto caused by the error in the system.

No there is no way these organizations can launch their own currency when they have already stopped crypto advertisement and moreover if they start their own crypto then they will get into legal troubles with the centralized government. I am not familiar with google's but I have heard about such thing somewhere before but I am not so certain about it. And yes, facebook will launch libra however there are some shady conflicts about the regulation of it that is why it is still on hold. YouTube from the recent event about the purge though it did happened but they already confessed it as a their mistake but that doesn't mean they would create their own crypto currency, maybe they just wanted to eradicated frauds, and scammer that uses crypto in their platform.

I wonder where this question came from because recently youtube is actually deleting some videos concerning our community or cryptocurrency in particular, that do already imply that they are somewhat against the community. You are right Facebook is trying to launch their libra coin but because of TRO they were unable to launch it yet. If you want to rank up easily then you need to follow the forum rules and make sure that you can contribute to the forum so you can easily get a merit and for you to rank up to senior member in a short period of time.

What's needed by google is not develop a new crypto as it has already cooperated with various payment systems. What is needed by google to developer its own decentralized protocol like blockchain. this idea will be more reasonable rather than hope that google will try to create its own crypto in the future.

I think that can happen because YouTube is a very large video platform for now and they provide payments to creative and inspiring creators with ads added to their videos, so this can make YouTube create its own coin that will be based on cryptocurrency and blockchain technology.

There's no important reason You tube release their own cryptocurrency, they have bad problems about crypto content in their platform and should fix first. You tube is audio video platform and they focus in ads and until now is enough, no need release crypto for fresh fund or member. If government release wise regulation about crypto maybe you tube will have cryptocurrency but of course with their own style and performance.

Libra coin has not been officially released and you should check the news page you have read, to avoid being scammed by some fraud organizations. Besides, the issue of whether YouTube and Google issue cryptocurrencies is difficult to know. but from my point of view they are not, they are having bad thoughts about crypto so they are taking turns removing crypto apps from their systems. YouTube won't do it especially not right now. The banning of cryptocurrency related videos on the website have been resolved already. And that issue doesn't mean that they will make their own and eliminate competition. Facebook on the other hand, is always following the current trend in the market that's why they made Libra to be still relevant.

Youtube is a platform connected to Google. So if there was such an initiative, do so. In fact, the fact that Google has its own blockchain network would be called vGoogle. Google has not yet announced such a thing, it would be very convenient to create a crypto currency that will be the payment method on all platforms including Youtube.

YouTube a platform owned by Google might not have any plans to create or launch their own cryptocurrency. I assume that google are a little bit not in favor with crypto because they started to delete every crypto related videos in YouTube that was called "crypto purge", but i know that google is using blockchain technology protect their customers informations that are stored in the computer or database.

YouTube hard never announced any entetion of them creating cryptocurrency not in the future. What happened to their actions was just to clean the shits posted for which looks scamming and some that looks harmful to you tubers. Their actions was a welcome development and should be applaud because it will help them monitor the authenticity of any cryptocurrency contents that will be.posted in their social medias.

The news about facebook which is the Libra coin, it's already on the news and verified that they will but the launching has been delayed for some reasons by the government but as said, they'll be launching for this year. For google and youtube, it's one company and I don't see that they will create their own token, what's the purpose on their part? I can't think of any reason why they have to create a token, it's not an essential need for them and they should be more focusing about their services instead of competing in terms of making a crypto.

Facebook has it seems abandoned their plans to create their own cryptocurrency backed by fiat, however if Google creates their own cryptocurrency that is not backed by fiat then they may be allowed to do that by the governments since they will not be competing directly with them, all of this is speculation but it is possible this could happen in the future since Google is always trying new technologies and I do not see why they may not take their chances in this market.

YouTube is owned by Google and if ever they will offer a cryptocurrency it will come directly from Google. Google offers a lot of services and I don't think it will create cryptocurrencies differently for each service.

If these popular site would venture cryptocurrency as their mode of payment transactions, particular with advertisements and other miscellaneous expenses; there would be a bigger impact to cryptocurrency economy. Cryptocurrency should be created for some specific purpose and be useful to people. Social networks play a completely different role and I don’t see the point of YouTube having its own cryptocurrency. In addition, social networks have a vivid example of Facebook, which clearly showed that they should not try to simultaneously engage in financial activities.

I am still wondering, if some companies like Facebook were created their own coin. There is also a possibility that Youtube will be interested of making their own cryptocurrency coin, too. I possibly don't really think that YouTube will launched their own coin like Facebook Libra coin because YouTube had started to delete crypto related videos, and they stated that it was all an accident, but i personally think that it was not because only crypto related videos was deleted in YouTube, therefore YouTube or Google will not create their own crypto.

In my opinion, Google might have their own cryptocurrency soon. But this only happen if most governments in this world accept crypto and turn it to legit currency. Currently, i'm think they have already develop new blockchain or something related to crypto, because a tech company will not want to miss this future tech.

As far as question-related to cryptocurrency by YouTube, I think it's possible but not in the near future. First, Google is based out of the US where crypto is not in good condition and second, the Libra coin from Facebook will be a lesson to google to step forward or backward in case its decded.

If big companies create its own cryptocurrency, why would you use that? To give power to big corporate companies? Aren´t you afraid?
Bitcoin was created to be an alternative for people, to use free money not affected by corporates or banks.

It's easy to make a difference between centralized and decentralized projects. Companies can choose between making centralized and decentralized coin, but of course centralized coins can be controlled, while with decentralized coins control have totally different meaning.
Big internet companies, like YouTube is, are in a huge problem. New decentralized platforms that offer the same as they do, and addition to that anyone can earn much easier, will overtake them, eventually. I strongly believe that youtube, facebook, twitter, and some others will have the same destiny as myspace, they will be overrun by better ones!

As far as I know I never heard any news that those two companies would create their own cryptocurrencies just like Facebook did. As a matter of fact, those Google used to banned those crypto ads due to the reason that it could potentially harm the users and so did for YouTube. However, there might be a chance for them to create their own if crypto would be legally use across the world.

The cryptocurrency industry is not created for fighting back with the unfair advantages of "capital"ism. The global companies will not take the crypto ecosystem seriously unless the right time arrives. I doubt Youtube will launch the cryptocurrency because they already compete with the Netflix in Youtube Premium.

Seen youtube premium being advertised in youtube itself. I wouldn't mind if they create their own coin but it will look much better if they accept crypto instead of creating their own. Nothing stops them form doing it unless the government doesn't allow them to. Libra was stopped by US government and its this time that government may really have to work on for more control over the big companies trying to circumvent the laws.

It's most likely they will at some point. Every big institution is being tokenized YouTube won't be left out of this era.

Any particular reason why you think youtube will be making their own crypto currency? I don't see any. Neither have I heard anything about google making cryptocurrency, let alone YouTube. If they do make cryptocurrency,  I think they will be facing the same fate as libra. They probably will also make it centralized thus driving people away from using it.

It would be a big step forward for youtube because they used to be anti-crypto for some time now. They want it to look like they're objective about it but they're not. Every big company is trying to support their best interest.

They won't do much in the space because of how Libra is failing but if Libra gets approved and launches we could see a YT coin.

Big corporation or company just want to take advantage of blockchain and thats' why they are doing research and investment into the blockchain technology to find the real use of it and implement it to their system but doesn't necessarily means that they are gonna launch their own cryptocurrency.
Even I can't see the reason youtube should release their own cryptocurrency while they already have their google payment from its parent company. There's just no reason at all.

If Google launches its own cryptocurrency I bet it becomes a new dollar, much more powerful then FB Libra.

They have admitted that it's just an error on their side to suddenly banning crypto related videos and imagine if youtube is going to release their own crypto coin instead of using conventional payment system. there are so many advantages they can achieve by using this coin like incentivizing viewers or even easily send payment from the adsense without the need to go through conventional bank and getting deducted by the bank fee.

I don't think that youtube will launch their own cryptocurrency because it is completely unnecessary for them. They are already established and there is already a lot of cash flowing into their bank account so creating their own cryptocurrency will not help them and it will only make their system complicated because they need to do a lot of adjustments if they will be goin' into crypto.

There is not going to be anything like YouTube cryptocurrency. YouTube is under Google and if there is going to be any such thing like that, it’s going to be a cryptocurrency that is under Google. And yes, Facebook did announce that they are releasing a cryptocurrency that goes by the name Libra, but no one is sure whether they are still going to release it because they are having some challenges (would be better you do some research on it), so there is no fixed date yet, they just said it might be released in 2020.

I guess every big market giants of this world may launch their own coin but which all always lead them to adopt bitcoin at the end of their cycle because the advantage of having a common payment processor will push them to do so :D.

It is not a mandate for all social media to launch their own crypto currency, it is not a competition either. Both YouTube and Google may have the finances it takes but that's not all it takes.

I do not think youtube will gonna have their own cryptocurrency because they have already ban cryptocurrency videos in their website. So maybe, they are not into the crypto that is why they ban it. I think that would be a big factor if they are going to have their own crypto or not.

I think youtube and google won't do that because all we know that their income is enough or we can say that their income is too huge and all we know that those big company did not want any issue that is the reason why they delete all the blog or video related about crypto. So I think this is impossible.

I really think that governments are going to begin to create laws regarding this issue, they cannot let such huge corporations to create their own currencies, governments were very worried when Facebook made the announcement because as we know Facebook has billions of users and not only this will make the adoption of their coin almost an overnight success it will also help the development of the market of cryptocurrencies which is something that they do not want.

In accordance of Facebook launching its own cryptocurrency which is the Libra coin anytime in this year 2020, which is really a big thing for which it is one of the largest social media platform in which everyone of us do have an account around the globe. Well, I guess if YouTube will be launching its own cryptocurrency as well, then it will be a great news and a good thing as well because it seems that the largest social media platforms are already up into launching its own crypto coin which will surely gain the interest of the crowd. Well, it seems not impossible to happen but that will still be up into YouTube if they will also release their own crypto coin and what will be basically its feature to hook up the interest of the crowd. Let us just see what will happen in the near future if the remaining largest social media platforms will get into cryptocurrency industry like Facebook but as of now, let's all just wait until such time that YouTube can decide what to do if they will get into crypto or not.
