Title: How many coins does it need for a masternode
Post by: Kur on December 30, 2019, 07:12:21 PM
Hello,

What command in the console window in the wallet can check the required amount of coins to run the masternode.
I know you can check it on the developer's website, but it doesn't always write.

Thank you in advance

What Masternode are you talking about? every coin has it's different requirement, anyway, this is Bitcoin Mining board, what you are asking about has nothing to do with this section, this topic is best suited in Altcoin Discussion  (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=67.0). You can move the topic using "Move Topic" function on the bottom right side of your screen.

You need to investigate it before it makes sense to install masternode. I have not seen an advantageous project for Masternode. I wanted to invest in it. However, people would already invest if they had the advantage. I think invest in a good coin.

Depending on a coin, the sum must vary. For example, if you want to run a dash masternode, you need 1000 coins, generally speaking for 90 percent of masternodes, you need to have between 1000 and 100k coins.

Why you make yourself becomes so difficult to check it. just use both of these sites https://masternodes.pro/statistics or https://masternodes.online/

and you can find all of the master nodes coins and how much coins are required to be masternode. I expect any wallet has different configuration and that means if the command will be different. Use both of those sites are the best way

It would depend on what command they set it and always contact the developer if you have any question. And also we cannot answer your question if what operating system you are using on running a masternode if its a linux or windows.

And as far as i know you can see it on their github since they will provide codes before you can set it up.

https://masternodes.online/
Everything is written on this website of how much capital you need, how much the masternode coin cost that you want to have and the potential ROI within the period of time.
You should tell what's the coin that you want to run a MN so that if somebody sees you here and is also running the same MN, he could give you an advice.

Depends for what coin you search, not all wallets show on console how many coins need to run a masternode and also don't know what command need to run which differ from wallet to wallet but check on that website and see if there is info for the coin you need to run masternode.

lol, no man, i dont think ANY coin will tell you by CLI the masternode requirements haha
you can look at the main.cpp file in their source code tho, it will likely be in there :)
most coins dont have their own APIs tho haha, so i dont think they can pull that kind of info, usually a coin just has a static amount needed

It would help to tell us the coin. Then we can tell you the collateral. Check this website. I am unsure why no one here has actually given you good help. https://masternodes.pro/
These people are just posting and have not helped you. Look at this website if your coin is not there then consider why you are investing. Also if the collateral is not mentioned on the website that looks really bad.
