Next boom $7500?  That wouldn't be much of a boom, but if bitcoin could stay there for a while, I'd take it as a victory.  It's been bobbing up and down for months now like it can't decide where to go.

And man, I'm hoping some of those other price targets get hit next year but I wouldn't hodl my breath waiting for them.  Weird that bitcoin was over $10k back in the summer--it seems like it was a million years ago for some reason.  Anyway, happy new year to everyone on the forum and let's hope 2020 is better than 2019.  Wheeeee.

Wish happy new year to all bitcointalk users, maybe 2020 will be best year to crypto market because loat of talks and many predictions are about bitcoin comes with positive and I also looking same here I want see Bitcoin price will be 12k mark very soon in 2020.

It should be a good year for Bitcoin. 

This is the first year since the crash that we should start the year in a bull market.  Yes, I call this a bull market because my assumption is that we saw the bottom at about 3500 and are in recovery.

Happy new year to all members of this forum. Let's hope bitcoin will surpass its ATH this year and bring Joy's on all of our faces. For me 20,000 is not the maximum bitcoin can attain, it can and will cross 50,000. Just wait and hodl.

Happy new year dear brother and sister from bitcointalk and 2020 will give wealth and health to all. And my opinion will be bitcoin price prediction it is very difficult to predict the future of Bitcoin in 2020 but I now bitcoin will going to recover soon $10k within end of January 2020.

Happy new year guys, you will see how this 2020 will be a nice year to hit the moon.

New coins will born and some others will die, is the way it is, but i really hope to see the bitcoin price in a new all-time high limit. I will pray for $50k/btc this year.

Happy New year to you and everyone here in the forum. With the look of things this year 2020 will be more better for Bitcoin price increase because of activities like halving and others that will take place this year as compared to last year 2019.

my expectation, not succeeding is too high, so that bitcoin remains always popular, and prices are clearly soaring high, and in this forum we eliminate dishonest behavior, so that bitcoin hunters are even happier here .. !!

I guess OP wants to say that bitcoin price will rise and touch $7500 and stay at that price, so $7500 will be the next bottom, so that will be one good price to start increasing.

I hope it will be a good year for bitcoin, and what I hope for the most is the rise of new projects such as the successful ICO project, so that I can generate bitcoin from the results of the campaign, ICO or IEO projects are currently very quiet, I hope this year we can all become successful.

So our next target is to reach $7500? Well, pretty reasonable price considering what situation and condition we're in. I at least hope that bitcoin price could hold up a little longer on $7500, not the other way around, which it is. The price keeps going down, a bit of ups and lots of downs. Having reached $7500 is pretty good enough at this point.

Since now we're already in 2020, we'll see if what we're hoping and expecting on this year is going to happen or maybe worse than last year.

Hopefully the long wait that has been quite tiring can make us all smile freely this year.

I hope that bitcoin returns to $ 10k as quickly as it was in the middle of last year. bitcoin has made the market undecided with strong bearish sentiment. This year has been awaited by various crypto communities and hopefully more institutions open their eyes to start investing bitcoin in the long run.

the most awaited thing this year is halving. I just hope that it doesn't disappoint. it's a new year, and we also need to have a new spirit. however, this year I hope for something special from crypto. In 2019, France and Germany started accepting Bitcoin, I hope that this year more countries will accept crypto.

We are now starting a new year and we also hope that the price of crypto will soon rise as soon as possible, although at the moment I see that the coin marketcap is red that is not a problem because expectations are still long, many halvings are awaited this year and great partnerships from other projects so it will be easier for the crypto market to soar quickly.
This year is full of hope and hopefully happens quickly.

With the new year 2020 comes this fresh hopes and dreams that soon Bitcoin will start to flex its muscle and soar to the "moon" which the coming rewards halving can be pushing. However, we know the realities of the market. Right now, we don't have the speculative movements of 2017 and after many people got burned believing in Bitcoin I don't see them coming soon. The projected institutional money flowing to Bitcoin is not forming an avalanche and there is no guarantee that its coming will be the catalyst for real growth as they can be the cause of a bottleneck. Anyway, we are till hoping that something superb will be happening in 2020.

Bitcoin halving is a hot news that is often talked about and I'm also waiting that's is in this year. The new year is a new beginning and of course a new Bitcoin price increase. I believe that more and more countries will receive crypto on this new year, including my country is own because previously Bitcoin was still not illegal in my country. ;D

When many people happy with new year I hope can enjoy and happy with new year with new bitcoin up to higher price, I hope on 2020 will give second chance for bitcoin have higher price, although halving still five months later hope bitcoin value can increase to higher price just on this day, with new year become beginning for bitcoin growing up to higher price.

That is what many of us hope for others at this time may still be a holiday but I still continue to monitor market movements even though it looks painful because the market is down is not a problem for me because I am looking for profit in short-term trading.
Full of hope this year many say this year is the year of bitcoin where prices will reach $ 50k, many are predicted but I only hope that it will increase so sharply or reach a new ATH.

Holders are the one expecting these prices, and I'm one of them. I'm slowly accumulating Bitcoin and also Ethereum and XRP since those are what I see has great potential next year. Right now, we might be at lows but reaching such prices isn't really impossible in a volatile market. Either way, I'm willing to hold until I'm satisfied and 2020 might bring that prices to us this year.

I hope this year the condition of the crypto market is good and makes us all benefit. everyone is waiting for in 2020 because this year bitcoin is reduced by half and this will have an impact on the price of bitcoin. everyone hopes that this year bitcoin will increase. but of course we also have to be prepared if in reality bitcoin doesn't pump even though it has been reduced by half. and I predict the highest price of bitcoin this year is $ 13,000.

Hope this year would be more exciting than in 2019. But yeah I wouldn't expect a new ATH this year as looking from past halving, the rally usually comes 1-2 years after the halving. But this means at least 2020 shouldn't make lows lower than 2019 (below $3K), hopefully able to maintain the low at $6K and up from here.

Your photo is amazing, BTC goal in 2020 will definitely surpass $ 20k and that is just the beginning of bitcoin. In 2019 bitcoin once went up to $ 14k and I thought it would surpass ATH during that time, but suddenly for whatever reason that made BTC drop to $ 7000 today. nice attempt but you made a mistake in that picture. "moon" isn't $20000 anymore. $20k is just the previously reached ATH and is similar to what $1200 was back in 2017, only a target on the way to the moon. your moon should have said something around $100k ;)

Happy new year guys, I think this is more of a Speculation as the price wish that we want. No one knows it to be exact what will be the price by this year but this is interesting and an intriguing year base on the expected event that we will have by May.

Yeah I think there are a lot of people who have a same expectations with me and put halving event is one of the way to make bitcoin cheer up again.

You have a high vision for the price of 2020 OP, for me its not that difficult to achieve that $7500 in this year because there are event that will come and for sure it will bring much profit to the users who make purchases in low price but higher than that I am not sure to happen because we know a lot of things happen recently so I think this is is not time for surpassing or reaching 2017 bull run.

It should indeed a good year and I am very optimistic that it will go reach $20k this 2020. A good thread to start our new year. It's not impossible to have a price hike since bitcoin halving will occur this year. If this happens, this will be a good oportunity to sell our coins at high cost.

May be it's my guts, may be it's not: but all my permutations point to an expected surge in the price of Bitcoin this year with halving in sight. At what quarter of the year the surge will happen is what no one can tell. On this, it's kind of hard making predictions about BTC price. I know speculations are free to give but then they should be sensibly given.

Beautifully edited. I think however that I'm 2020-2021, Bitcoin might even break 5 digits because we have the halving coming up and if we see how it happened in previous years, it's easily understood that halving always promoted to growth of the coin tremendously in the following year!

@The Pharmacist I’ll agree with you $7500 isn’t a big boom, but in a way it’ll be nice if bitcoin prices can stabilise there for a while. I’m personally counting a lot on the halving event to propel bitcoin prices upwards, and hopefully the event shall live up to it’s reputation. Also wishing the community a very happy new year, and may we all get what we have been waiting for: a massive upwards movement in bitcoin prices cheers.

I do believe it can reach $20.000 considering the following:

- $7.500 next boom following some new year investors considering several 2020 good news.

- $10.000 since 14 May 2020 02:15:08 (Halving Date)

- $15.000 will possible be reached as miners and buyers will grow their prices from the halving date till this.

- $20.000 due to more speculation and new technologies, new countries adoption and new investors hearing such good news and joining this world.

It is quite interesting to speculate how much bitcoin could be in this year 2020. But it is more productive to make the bitcoin's market price higher than to speculate prices to it. We are the very important factor that determines the market price and our new years resolution should be, buy as many bitcoins as we can and let the best hodlers in the cryptocurrency space and make the market price steady at 10k dollars. Though, it might be impossible with just words, it could still help people to be motivated in hodling bitcoin.

There is so many bitcoin predictions in 2020 since few years ago.
All of them said that the price will go up.
But I’m not sure if the price can hit or surpass the ATH.

Like you, I also hope that this year will lead us to bull market. I have faith that those next boom you put in the picture is possible. However, I don't want to put my hopes that high and expect that it'll reach 20k in this year. We all wish that the new year which is the year 2020 will be a boom year for us crypto users and enthusiast that it may some go around $7,500 and so on, but it is very hard to predict the future and the market is in a very bad situation and especially right now that the Bitcoin halving will come so meaning we don't really know what might happen after the bitcoin halving that will occur this year.

I think no one can accurately predict the future, especially the highs and lows but history tends to rhyme, and the people making these predictions are simply looking at the historical behavior of bitcoin. If so, then bitcoin is going for a bubble bull run in 2020. the general public will see a FOMO opportunity again, and bitcoin grows parabolic. I hope we can see $30,000-$40,000 this year.

i like your predictions too because we have the same taste , i mean sense ;)   .  speaking of sense ,  i have a really good sense that both of our prediction will come true   . btc is now on below 10k but after halving the price could have jump above the 10k usd barrier and will slowly build a momentum  till we hit 3rd quarter  and finally ath will occur on the forth quarter  .

Let’s learn from our crypto mistakes of 2019 and not to repeat them in 2020, that must be our biggest resolve for the year 2020.  One mistake that most of us make is never follow price predictions of bitcoin.  Always buy when you think the price is safe for buying and has less risk.

Almost a bit late to greet a happy new year to everyone, this is what we are hoping for that Bitcoin price that it will go up the price. But if we can see the market the price was struggling on the range of $7k. So, let's hope that this year 2020 bitcoin will start the pump up the price. Even though it will reach $10k on CMC this start of the month, that is good news for us. Let's do hope that after the next halving reward of bitcoin it will move fast forward.

Lots of talk and many predictions about bitcoin is not enough to drive the price to the moon, now it's all about new huge money flowing into crypto, if not there is no chance

Realistically speaking, from the side of the bitcoin road consumer, I just want the price to be more stable.
It is not durable psychologically for the price to fall much and come back, but of course I would like it to rise and be higher than ever.
And as far as they want, I would love to double the current value. ($ 14,500)

There are Much possibility for bitcoin to have a good phase  compared to last year 2019 which was a bad  year to cryptocurrency enthusiasts and investors. Although, the speculated price stand positive as the fall and ruse in bitcoin price has been in play in the last quarter of 2019. Hoping we move to the top once again and touch the peak as predicted by experts.
