Title: Transaction showing in address but not available in Wallet
Post by: cryptotrade78u on January 01, 2020, 09:08:55 AM
This is the first time i am seeing this in last 2 years of using same wallet. The wallet is created on Blockchain.info with multiple addresses (each for each client). There are 2 incoming transactions showing on a address but they are both neither in the wallet activity or in pubx extended key of the wallet.

Interestingly, old transaction of same address are showing just fine in the wallet and in pubx as well.

Wallet in question is https://explorer.bitcoin.com/btc/address/1LCxvj7XRNcYvTDHCmgfyY5SCWNBcxDMdw

Transactions are

Also, when the client sent in, i remember checking my wallet and seeing those transaction. I even updated the notes, but next morning they are gone.

I am thinking recovering the wallet into different app using the seed phrase, would that still keep all the addresses alive?

Take a look at the fifth point of this article (https://support.blockchain.com/hc/en-us/articles/360000575926-I-was-expecting-to-receive-funds-but-have-not-received-them-yet). It looks like this issue happens from time to time.

Yes. Download Electrum from the official website (https://electrum.org/#home), verify it (https://bitcoinelectrum.com/how-to-verify-your-electrum-download/) and import your seed there. I would also recommend you creating a new wallet in Electrum and using it instead.

Can you use an external client (https://iancoleman.io/bip39/) to validate if the address is within your xpub? I know blockchain.info is not reliable but its weird that its not showing up when you search your xpub either.

Else, import it into Electrum putting a BIP44 derivation path when asked.

This is an old bug of blockchain wallet I have the same problem before and fixed my problem by contacting the blockchain support.
What they did is they refresh my account after 3 days my transactions and balance showing fine.

So the only thing you need to do for now is to contact them.

As the suggested above like importing the seed to another wallet like Electrum I never heard someone success on using the seed generated from blockchain to Electrum but you can try to play the derivation path and maybe you can find your wallet and balances to other derivation paths.
