Title: Simple Guide on Bitcointalk
Post by: seandiumx20 on January 03, 2020, 01:24:53 PM
This is a simple guide I've created to eradicate the mentality of being rushed to receive bounty money for some beginners here. In my view, this is a user's road map that doesn't know what to do or users interested in improving their way of thinking. It's a simple explanation guide that will give you a very clear understanding of the process.

To me, if there are new members, there will be new problems caused by lack of information in this forum. That's why guidelines should always exist here.

Before you join the bounty, be sure that you have the knowledge and deserve the rewards you receive.

Why do we need to explore the forum?
It's very odd for us to know what to do here if you're a beginner who already knows this community's course and strategy.

Why do we need to learn?
It's easier to get an idea about what you're going to do. If you have expertise, you will create a conversation about consistency.

Why do we need to invest?
On this section, all your efforts will be applied. If you really want to make a profit then use your whole knowledge to make a profit. Do it if you find an opportunity to spend, don't waste your time.

Progress is waiting for you after all this has been done. You don't have to rush things, there's always going to be a process in life to have a benefit. Only wait and do your best for the right time. Those terms should always be a reminder to your journey here.

Also don't hurry the ranking system, it's not a contest. They'll give it to you if you just deserve to go higher.

Change the title to "Simple Guide for bounty hunters on Bitcointalk" since they are your target audience in your post. You could also add the "read the forum rules" there instead of just explore. It's a good effort but I doubt if bounty hunters would bother reading this. Most of them just visit the Altcoin discussion and Bounties (Altcoins) boards.

I'm not only targeting bounty hunter because the post's information is very broad. As you can see on my post, it talks about the best path to success, so my intention was to remain this guideline at this part of the forum where the beginners were.

Explore may also be a general term, if they read the rules of the forum as part of their research, it is on their part. I still doubt that some higher members would read certain rules of the forum, if they did, some of them still get red tags. My point is, we should not rely solely on the rules of the forum, but also on the norms of culture as it is the standard by which we live at the moment. Exploring also involves gathering key topics or lessons that will help you grow up in this site and that is through learning. Thank you very much for your advice.

But on your OP. You clearly stated that this guide is meant for bounty hunters although the content is too generalized.

Though there's already more detailed thread like this in this section. It's still good to see some creative post like this rather than shit posting.  :)

A little advice for you.
The image size used is too large. For some people who might access this forum with a bad internet connection, it will make it slow to open.

Can I know what is the exact size that will fit the whole thread?
Pay attention to the Legibility and Readability* aspects of the text in the infographic.

Because I always believe there will always be a newbie trying to earn a profit because they have no idea what to do here so the intro started like that... Anyways, thanks for appreciating my post. I'll be better next time on creating posts.

I just used a HD template on the net. I will take note on that.

AFAIK there is no exact size, depending on the device used. I tried to download your image and it's no more than 500kb.
I think it's not too bad for users with bad internet access.  :D

Btw, you mentioned invest. I think the investment isn't really needed by bounty hunters.
What kind of invest do you mean?

The title should be changed to "Simple guide on Bitcointalk for investors". At a glance, it looks like a posting guide for newbies.

Will investment talk about money at all times?
Sometimes you need to put in time and effort, we should have realized that these words are very broad and not just one definition should be precise. Investing in time and effort will enhance your skills, especially in making constructive statements that will lead to more skills in this community. Why do I need to change the title of this thread depending on your own viewpoint and interpretation, even the words and idea on this page are very general?
Your thinking is different from other people's thinking, there's no chance that their point of view will also be talking about money investment.

Why bounty hunters don't need investment? Were you saying that every bounty you enter would give you more benefits and have a 100% assurance of payment? If it's not a time and effort investment, that means you're wasting it by joining bounty, even though it doesn't have 100% assurance. I wonder if, because of that mentality, people still have low quality posting or spamming some threads.

I agree with Coin_trader, the first sentence clearly refers to bounty hunters or the beginners who rush to follow bounty programs. You are better to revise this sentence if you have no intention to make it specific for the bounty hunters only.

Anyway, the roadmap's goal seems to be an investment. It contradicts the first sentence. It looks like un-matched and doesn't support one another.

Are you sure we have a lack of information? And we have already had some guides/rules, right?

Some basic guide/rules/tips:
1. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2766177.0
2. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=178608.0
3. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=703657.0
4. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1689727.0
5. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1629118.0
6. etc

We have also guide/rules/tips on each local board. So, I don't think we have a lack of information. And the basic guide/rules/tips have already created as well.

For me, a newbie can find out everything if he/she is not lazy. He/she can use the search feature/ google custom search to know everything about bitcointalk forum.

It is more isseues than only with bad internet connections. Too large images cost more space, then require readers to scroll mouse more, and kind of a little annoying.

In OP, we see one more thing. Image is too large and hurries the contents. People tend to pay more attention on the image, rather than the contents (that should do pay attention on).

It's not me :D, but your picture that says "Having Financial Goals?" I thought you were talking about money/finance.
And this means that your infographic is a little contrary to your explanations afterward. CMIIW

These might look simple but these guides are truly helpful especially for the newbies who just came here for the first time. If you guys new here this is the things you must-do if you want to learn more about this forum. everything is from those guides don't just jump onto something you still confuse about, better read all the rules and regulations to prevent unnecessary troubles in the future.

Good job bud, out of sMerits or would have sent them to you. :)
While you asked about investments, investing is of two types according to me. One type is investing money while another one is investing your time. It doesn't cost you anything but your time to learn here a lot and even earn. If you have upgraded yourself to a rank which can be accepted in a campaign (though less earnings but something is always better than nothing), then you should start grabbing those opportunities and earn while learning, where you'll be investing your time and getting rewarded BTC in return. :)

It's the basic thing you need to know after entering the forum. You can't earn and be successful if you do not know about what you are doing. Try looking at the different boards and sections then it follows by learning. You can actually learn so much in this forum from other users. You can't invest if you don't have enough knowledge about crypto.

Your guideline is fine but I think it needs more explanation on the three steps before success. Like what they need to explore and learn. Also, how should they invest? You can actually discuss that further for newbies who are seeking for help. But nonetheless, your guideline is enough it just needs enhancement.

There are many ways to earn money on the forum, bounties, campaigns, services, and so forth. But it is easier to earn financial income more regularly if one knows rules of the forum, and its structure (where to find bounties, campaigns, services) and avoid destroy account by breaking rules. Learning rules first is the utmost thing to start

There are many better guidelines (I don't attack OP). The attached image in OP is large, and OP should try to adjust it to have better width or height.
Please see my guide on images' width & height options. Guideline on posting images (with size adjustments), hyperlinks (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3974517.0)
I subjectively think this one is good:
