Post by: coupable on January 03, 2020, 06:23:53 PM
Topic moved from Marketplace(altcoins) .

As said in title. I am willing to move an erc20 token from my eth wallet to the exchange.
I need someone to send me 0.01 eth and i will pay the equivalence in btc including the transaction fees.
I will post my eth address here if anyone would help. Thanks in advance .

I'll help you out: send a sufficiently high amount of Bitcoin to bitcoin:<outdated>.
This funds my BlueWallet Lightning wallet, which I'll use to buy 0.01 eth from the exchange in my signature.

Or you can do all this on your own.

Hi LoyceV
Thanks for your message. I decided to try it myself as first time to use LN. Actually i've installed Blue Wallet and create a wallet in both types btc/LN, now i sent 0.0003 to my btc wallet then i have to refill my LN wallet. Right? I want to ask how much is it safe to use Blue Wallet? Can i trust it like am using electrum? I would feel more confortable if the wallet can be locked in my device using a password.
Great Thanks for your advice, i will post the result here.

Edit: sorry i faced some troubles using bluewallet for my android. I funded your address by 0.0003btc . Please do the exchange for me and send eth to this address : 0x9d2969eD3DeAc132b40c034780815F7259E130eA

I've sent 0.015 eth to your address: https://www.etherchain.org/tx/0x932407c9239d7d8cb3ea0228adb9af1b2b64037fa13e4544add70fdfa8090325

BlueWallet can be password protected. I trust it with small amounts only, it hasn't been around as long as Electrum. You can fund a Lightning wallet from an external wallet directly, you don't even have to create an on-chain wallet within BlueWallet.

Good morning LoyceV.
I confirm that i have received the amount in eth. Thank you for your kindness and help.
The version i downloaded didn't ask me to protect it using a password, and by trying to refill the LN wallet from the on-chain wallet it's loading without success. Anyway, i re-sent the amount back to you. Also, i used the 24 words seed to re-open the wallet in electrum as a standard wallet but electrum doesn't recognize it. Actually am about to discuss this in a topic dedicated to LN within my local board.

There's A great lesser known wallet! [BlueWallet] (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5168527.0), but it's not used much.
There are also several topics on LN, but they're scattered a bit in different parts of the forum.

The reason I used LN, is that CoinPlaza allows exchanging amounts as low as 0.01 eth, while on-chain the minimum is 0.001 BTC. And I just like spreading LN awareness for small transactions :)

Good reason to do so. Honestly, i didn't expect ever that i can make small trades (only few bucks) in any exchange. Thanks for let me know about bluewallet and coinplaza.
I succeeded open my wallet in electrum desktop using the seed given by bluewallet after some setup adjust which is not allowed in electrum mobile version. I also succeeded to refill the LN wallet in bluewallet by a very small amount noticing that this wallet can't accept all the amounts from what i could understand. Now am willing to try the LN to send short messages using the service introduced here : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5209762.0 then i will resume my experience with LN & LNSMS in my local board. I would always thank you for this nice discussion LoyceV .
