Well we have been in worst situations this past two years so I guess everyone really wishes that this 2020 will bring some recovery specially in the altcoin market. We have seen coins losing as much as 90%, maybe investors have lost their trust or simply not wanting to put a big risk because of the worsening market conditions. So yeah, we all hope that 2020 will bring something new, specially that bitcoin halving is around the corner and that the effect might trickle to altcoin market.

Let's all hope for the best but don't ignore that worse can also come for each year. Like last year, we never expected that it will be the turnaround for bitcoin because it has recovered very well and perfectly. For this year, there's more for it to be asked because halving is coming and too many speculations are telling that it will be the cause of its surging which has been compared base on the past halving events. Everyone is leaning on that hope and we're all here to bring positive vibes.

I hope too, that cryptocurrency will recover from all this bloodbath.   Many investors had lost a lot of money from this bear season.  Imagine more than 90% loss from 2017-2018 price.  I do hope that this Bitcoin halving will enable Bitcoin to rally so that altcoins will follow.

2018 and 2019 we were all down and people with a lot of followers on their social media or important people in the crypto world with their tweet, 2 years all crypto communities stand in this slump, but big people still want to deceive us by saying 2020 will not follow like history before because this will be different, so they frighten us all that will continue to fall into crypto, then for what they are still standing there for crypto, if prices continue to fall what they get by deceiving everyone here then buying it cheap, already time for the crypto community to get good and victory in 2020 and also next year, we will start soon

I like the attitude it is very positive. Honestly I am the one who are hoping for success in crypto business on this 2020. I experienced loss last year so I think this is the year to recover. I have also stored some bitcoin that bought from 2019 so I am hoping that this year will be a good year to sell my bitcoin to win back what I loss.

Yes this is the year of the event for which not only the bitcoin users but all the crypto users wait for four years and this year do not disappoint the crypto users but give a huge value to the bitcoin and then almost all of the altcoins start rising in value and wake up the whole investors and traders resulting in a bigger trade volume and a great time of the cryptocurrencies.

of course this year there are a lot of expectations from people, especially the price of bitcoin which could rise again because of halving bitcoin. and I expect more projects that can grow back and attract more investors who invest in new projects, because if a new project is in demand by investors there will be more work for forum members.

we all hope that all your words will be predictive, but now there are no prerequisites for this year to be really very good. maybe everything will change after the bitcoin halving, but now everyone expects another price reduction that is likely will happen very soon. It is normal from the beginning of the origin of bitcoin that when the time of halving come near then people come to invest in bitcoin as everyone know that after halving the price will increase just like you know and you said it in your comment. So from a few months before the halving the price of bitcoin start to increase and in that time till halving we do not see any bear market so if you want to invest then invest now and do not wait for the bear market as bear market will now not come in this year and if you will delay then the price will increase higher than today.

In some point past years was good to buy bitcoin or top coins specially at cheap price. When you want to earn money then do trust some coin because we invest time than investing money from cryptocurrency. We not lose because if we start last few years then sooner or later you can see what you waiting for.

A great wishful thinking for the year, I hope for the best as well and I would love to see bitcoin going up this year. Not just in price, I would like to see the number of people joining bitcoin to go up as well, the transaction numbers, the hashrate numbers, I want to see everything regarding bitcoin to go up including the adoption rate but most important I hope that there will be more places that accept bitcoin as a payment as well.

If there are more places that accept bitcoin than there will be more places we can use as well and that would drop the significant importance of making more fiat currency profits with bitcoin but just focus on getting bitcoin and using it instead of making profit with it which is what I want the most. Hopefully 2020 will be that year.

Everyone and the media have discussed, hoping that 2020 will form a new history but in terms of good news. the year that crypto fans look forward to, after last year's bear trend, everyone hopes that crypto will bring big changes. we just wait and pray, maybe if 2020 is not the right time, next year crypto will definitely show a definite future. for someone who is currently holding any coins, I hope to be patient and pray more, rest assured with yourself.

I believe 2020 should be great for Bitcoin and by extension the entire crypto industry just like what we saw in 2017. Besides Bitcoin halving this year, the tension of war between the US and Iran has already set the tone and we can observe the demand for Bitcoin rising, at least that's my observation from the CMC. Just take a small bump on crypto right now and it looks like that the chart is looking for the next new top position again soon. I am thinking if this year will be a year or recovery of all the losses and missed opportunities in the past, most especially of the just concluded year. Well, year 2020 looks more like a year filled with lots of goodies, most especially with the advent of serious projects. Although, some scam projects might try or make attempts, but the lessons learnt are enough for everyone to make the right choice.

With the hard lessons that we experienced for the past years, I don't think people will easily send their money this time around. This is the reason why ICOs or even IEOs are not gaining popularity anymore as many have had burned several times by these crap projects. Promises that have never been accomplished, roadmaps that have never been touched, whitepaper that stayed as whitepaper. We have had enough so investors are becoming smart that ICOs or IEOs are not selling anymore like pancakes.

Each year is a better year for cryptocurrency, because it means more people are aware of it whether dependent or not. Someone may not agree with these words because of the worse price, but in such cases a sudden increase is only short term and returns to its original state before too much time has passed. Right, as I have said if my previous post about the 2020, we do hope that it will be the year wherein crypto, specially the alt market will gain significantly or at least try to get -50% from it's previous all time high.

We did suffer from 2018-2019, but with bitcoin block halvening around, we do hope that it will be the catalyst for the market to go back to its bullish season and make the price seems reasonable for crypto investors.

It's too much to expect an increase in the price of crypto tokens by up to 20 times, because if you can go up to 10 times it is pretty good I think, and so far I have also seen several crypto tokens that have increased prices in all markets even if only in a few percent only.

This is just my guess, but people are putting too much hype with halving that is why they got this high hope for this year? Well fair enough because I hope the same, although significant changes might later on to appear but still I am pretty excited with it. Everything seems to look almost the same in 2018 i guess but 2018 is more bearish than in 2019. What could possibly going to happen in this year? It's more like what you have said almost happening already as whales and traders trying to pump the market yet it won't move to what they have expected.

And may even be a year of uncertainty. Though by the year end, we may start to feel the new age in crypto history as the blockchain industry starts to shape. The future of mineable coins and fundraising through tokens may be decided by the end of this year. The success or failure of crypto this year would be crucial for the industry for a long term.

In the past 2 years people were able to cumulate more cryptocurrencies, while the whole crypto ecosystem was developed. Now it is time for mass adoption and price growth. But also we need the stable infrastructure for cryptocurrencies and finally the important regulations.

I think it is a combination of many factors, investors are slowly realizing the risks of investing in icos and they are deciding they do not want to take the risk of losing their life savings in something which most likely will not offer them any result, altcoins are also not recovering by their own fault, many of them had great goals and most of those goals have not been achieved, so they have been showing they are not as capable as they thought they were, and finally the adoption has slowed down considerably and without more people coming the price cannot go up.

This year everyone keeps talking about the bull market because of the bitcoin bull run, but in past, the crypto market did not Pump just after the halving, it took a long time! So, I think not this year, crypto new history may happen in 2021!

Not only this year but every year people in the crypto are always talking about the possibility to reach the NEW ATH for sure. But just waiting for the trend that will be happening with crypto. i can see a lot of positive trend in the various places and it looks like this time we will see another bullish trend for bitcoin again. The whales have already started its move to the crypto market and it's not a very long time to go like 2019 and 2018. 2020 is a special year for the development of bitcoin. because this year bitcoin will be half the size. I guess the bull run is occurring now in anticipation of the next block reward halving. The event is only a few months away, and we can expect a significant boost from it. But the question is whether these gains can be sustained or not. Last year we had a similar block reward halving event occurring for Litecoin. However, the exchange rates crashed heavily after the halving event. I am not saying that it will repeat with Bitcoin, but we need to remember that the exchange rates have already gone up by close to 200% during the last 7-8 months.

One thing is for sure we might gonna see some great result the same on what happen on the past but there's no guarantee that we can still see a great camps since investors are not much into ICO right now and that will make the project failed and result for not paying the bounty camps so best not to much on your time on it.

I think it would be as the same as what i had been for years specially last years. I don't expect any movements from ALTS as they always make some hype just in begining of the project but eventually losses its price stability as the projects progress. Yes, exactly every year writes different things in crypto history - even it can be different from our thoughts or from our expects. But every year we hope to gain, we see the dream of success. we can calculate the ever growth or loss by the end of the year.

Everyone certainly has high expectations with what they want from the cryptocurrency market, which is the occurrence of bullrun this year but in my opinion also that bullrun will not occur this year, it takes quite a long time until bullrun can occur and also several factors that support it the. But, this is just my opinion, we don't know what will happen later, maybe the bullrun can happen this year as many people hope and hopefully it will happen.

Let's set too much high expectation as it can lead to greediness and can be easily manipulated by big whales that will take advantage of us, let's take it easy and let's be silent with our expectation. After a very bearish market these past years, a reversal in the market situation would be a welcome treat. Many supporters who rode the bandwagon during the last bullrun have gone and those that stayed and patiently waited prays that the bear season would end. As of now everyone is happy with the current bull run. Bitcoin exchange rates increased by 15% since the new year, and the other altcoins are also posting similar gains. However, the PLUS token scam is hanging on our head like the sword of Damocles. Once the scammers dump their BTC and ETH in the market, the exchange rates for sure will get affected.

for project scams there will always be every year and what distinguishes maybe the number of project scams and the amount of losses due to their actions, and for ATH bitcoin most expect a halving event that occurs in a few months and actually I'm not sure about ATH bitcoin but we'll see

I'm not superstitious but I'm going to believe its about to be true that 2020 can be a time to double the ATH price of BTC and the price is already showing us just as the year starts.

Market is already coming back fully, BTC hits 8k today and I believe others are really doing well, ETH and BCH including XRP are at it too...market is doing great.

I almost forgot, we do not have a smooth road after all. The path of crypto is always bumpy and has a lot of obstacles. Well, so be it. I am used to it. I have been rocked several times and even worse. I know we all went through the same ordeal after the happy days in 2017. The year 2020 appears promising though with a lot of major updates on the list.

You are forgetting how all other technologies are improving as well at the same time. I mean think about it, there are so many places right now where you can open up your phone and read a QR code with it and your payment is done, that is literally something in all around the world right now and even tho its not even comparable to what debit/credit cards are used for or even cash, it is still a new technology that will get adoption with time, I am pretty sure nobody moved to "money" itself that easily from barter so this is much better and faster in quicker time.

I doubt bitcoin will have hard time being a easy-to-use payment like fiat, it just requires all other technologies to catch up with bitcoin itself since bitcoin was cared way ahead of its time, we weren't ready for it in 2008, we are more ready nowadays and in 5 years we will be more than ready for it.

I think the year of 2020 will bring more cheer on the investors and bounty hunters as cryptocurrency will see more adoption and people becoming aware of the importance of cryptocurrency. Now even regulators are giving thoughts to the mass adoption of cryptocurrency, while big business groups are interest in it. Likewise, countries are issuing their own digital currency.

Indeed a mass adoption is approaching and i can see it but it won't happen fast but im sure we will see progress and i hope companies can slighlty focus on implementing cryptocurrency on smartphones and giving it more features which is related to crypto like what samsung and htc did because people are more of into smartphones than desktops so it will be a good move towards our vision.

The only thing that makes me sure about 2020 is that this flat market can't last long and the probability of bull run grows constantly.

Then, yeah this "event" might cause the price to rise due to people thinking that the supply of bitcoin is going to reduce by half, thus causing more people to invest on bitcoin. Following the price of bitcoin, other coins are also rising. Not sure if we are going to reach a new all time high. But I really hope this does not happen. Instead a prefer a slow and steady rise.

I'm only watching a handful of projects but am 100% more excited this year than many before

I am sure blockchain-based businesses will increase this year. this was triggered by China's plans to more seriously work on their own crypto. They partnered with the giant Alibaba and Tencent companies. we wait.

Obviously that is what I want as well, we all want that the market of cryptocurrencies begins to recover and that it does in a significant way after the bear market that we have been enduring for the last months, but I'm worried because I see that the market is still making new highs but it is doing so with lower volume and that is a clear indication that the bulls are getting exhausted and that the current prices cannot really be sustained for a long time.

In 2020, bitcoin made a stronger rise. There was a downtrend for 2 years. Ascension moves were very weak. A peak in Bitcoin price may take place again. New excitement is required for people to invest in this market again.

We are waiting for the halving this year and we all want to make bitcoin rise ul again like what it was before 2017. But bitcoin like last year is still unstable as well as the altcoin , so better to gather more coins for us to have it when the price boom maybe Q2 of this year. We might have a good start but it wasn't a steady and stable start, after the pump, correction happens and that has been a normal trend in crypto for awhile. Hopefully even with this high volatility, going forward we would be able to see the market having a positive movement on a monthly basis, that at least could somehow help to boost or recover from this long bear market.

I have no tremendous desires towards this year yet I do trust a progressions will happen that can influence the market emphatically. Im bullish for the eventual fate of crypto along these lines even it takes more time for us to see another ath of our coins and even this isn't the year for it im going to hold and remain positive.
