Here are lists of some key concepts and projects that i think will definitely advance significantly more this year.

1. Libra/Calibra

The Libra project is currently on hold indefinitely and no one knows when it will be available to the public. So Libra is not my concern in 2020.
Perhaps my biggest concern is how to make more bitcoin. Besides, I am interested in how the coins launched by the government and central bank will affect the market.

China and many countries are planning to develop their own cryptocurrencies and this will greatly affect the market. I think that as soon as China has friendly policies on cryptocurrencies, the market will explode strongly.
We are likely to see Bitcoin rise to $ 50,000 in 2020.

I don't care about Libra, I believe many bad luck will plague the project this year since Central banks are on their very own digital currencies, Libra will still be a threat, i look forward to nothing else than btc halving and eth staking upgrade

Bitcoin halving us definitely hyped right now so it's one on the top that I should look out for as people are waiting for its bull run. I don't know what will happen in the next 2 years but the next cycle of Bitcoin bull run will happen in 2021 as the chart implies to us. Though Central Bank Currencies might be an interesting take next year.

All kinds of price changes are possible in the crypto space. But $50k is a bit exaggerated. Let's see how the crypto to be created by centralized powers and the next halving will be effective. Because I do not think other news will leave an effective result on price.

Many big projects have a good concept in 2020 I think it will have good growth in the crypto market, we know that many are waiting for that concept but is it possible that this will increase the price in the market?

Hopefully, bitcoin (halving) whether in 2020 this will increase or wait for the process in 2021 to become a new ATH, we cannot be certain about that, for sure, everything will go well.

libra and calibra are on hold, gamification has been here for years, these are not the key point that we must look forward to in 2020 but defi and bitcoin halving are.

Bitcoin halving is hyped right now, ETH 2.0 is on the way and china is about to release their own first ever digital currency, what do you expect if not good growth this year? Bitcoin Will surely grow bigger this year and i hope we get lower dominance for altcoins to surge as well

Libra is not going to happen. Too many hostile governments hate the idea of stablecoins (and who can blame them?)

Central bank currencies won't get issued till around 2025. There is a global economic slowdown happening now, and they won't want to release a new currency in the middle of it.

4 yearly events that always happen and are awaited by many people, yeah Bitcoin halving and as far as I know has always had a positive impact on the crypto market, we can see it from the chart history that occurred after Bitcoin halving.

Currently the blockchain-based game is quite popular with many people and of course its development will be more diverse. Recently I know DeFi and DeFi always appear in every discussion, therefore I am very enthusiastic in every project that uses it, interesting to see its development further.

So in 2020 there will be many good and interesting things that will happen in the crypto industry, I hope this year will be better.

Libra was having more serious speculations right now, and as new year 2020 came in, I haven't hear any news from long silence. Since there was troubles launching this project, it made Libra's team so difficult to enter the world of cryptocurrency. For so many factors affecting it's possible launching, I don't think it's going to be easy in the future. Let's be more concern with bitcoin to soar higher in the incoming days.

I think Libra / Calibra and the other events that you listed will take place only next year. but in any case, I will be very happy if the whole year will be filled with many positive events

Block chain gaming is the next big thing that will make crypto grow better soon, if big gaming companies start using blockchain many people will adopt crypto more easier, it's all looking good for crypto and blockchain

Would definitely be paying attention to the projects aiming to bring BTC liquidity into the DeFi ecosystem. Being able to Collateralize BTC on Compound for example will significantly increase the user activity on these platforms.

I'm glad you didn't add anything about Telegram to your list. Everybody loves to talk about GRAM token, which they don't know anything about.

I think the two most important events this year are the developments in Bitcoin halving and DeFi. Bitcoin halving is often discussed. But DeFi still hasn't come up enough. DeFi can shape the economy of the future.

Libra is in a battle with the world capitalist makers. We have seen their many partners leaving them, for fear of backlash from the government, we can't really tell how well Libra can survive this government scrutiny. Would have love to have Libra in market despite been a stablecoin.

Its the Defi that I'm more interested to watch out because this will solve all the privacy issues we are currently avoiding. A lot of the exchanges even the dex we knew in the past had been collecting KYC already which isn't normal for an exchange that claimed as DEX. Libra isn't so exciting anymore after the fact that its been blocked by congress and different countries.  The most important would be the halving which the awaited price effect. Its very anticipated so the pump might really not occur.

I think with the launch of Libra it will be great news on the development of crypto throughout the world because the Facebook giant has a large community . we just wait for what will happen

1. Libra/Calibra

The target date is said to be in 2020 in the link below, but the announcement that they gave was June 18, 2019. So with all the news surrounding it about how it may not come to fruition is out of their control as said in the article. I think they knew that they would have a hard time to let the government accept it. There's no assurance that it would be released in 2020.

2. Bitcoin Halving

This is a sure thing, but there's no specific date. It would depend on how many blocks they would get. That's the reason why there are different times for different countdown timers by various websites.

3. Gaming Development on Blockchain

With the current uprising of eSports in the world, there's no doubt that Gaming Development paired with the blockchain tech is inevitable. I'm just not sure if there is a significant release in 2020 related to this. I think it still has a long way to come.

4. DeFi Growth

This is the first time I have heard or read about this. Decentralized Financing is worth to watch out because of the possibilities. I just searched for it, but I'm not sure if it's the right one. Anyways, with events that are related to blockchain flourish, I think there would be a significant growth within the crypto community. I do hope that it would improve this year. That's what we need right now.

5. Central Bank Currencies

I just think that it's almost the same as fiat but in digital form or something. They want to create their own to have complete control. I think that's why we need more decentralized platforms to support the citizens of the world and the funds to be not corrupted. I'm not sure if CBDC's would be beneficial.

6. Infrastructure and Web 3.0

The transformation of traditional businesses would something to watch out for, Web 2.0 to Web 3.0. Being able to utilize Dapps would be useful and a lot more. The semantic web, AI, 3D Capabilities, etc. This is the future.

I agree with point 3 and 6.Blockchain games are really gaining popularity.And sooner or later, this technology must be introduced into the gaming industry.WEB 3-in fact already on the threshold and most likely in the near future we will see what will happen.

You forgot to add China launching its own coin, they are in the planning stage but there is a big possibility that they are going to launch today or if they are going to launch next year it will hug limelight because of what it's trying to accomplish, although the big significant is the halving and Libra Coin.

I do not think gaming will be more effective when there are BTC halving and central bank cryptocurrencies. Because gaming is a sector of technology related persons, and they are mostly knowledgeable about innovations such as cryptocurrency. But there must be innovations that will awaken those who are far from cryptocurrency. For example, the launch of the Libra, Facebook users to be aware of this theme will be more effective than gaming.

I think it is better to focus and observe about the bitcoin halving because all we know that there has a big possibility that we will have success because of halving. And I don't think that libra can be recover the trust of investors after facing in different problem upon launching. And I think this is the year the adopt about gaming development about blockchain.

I personally don't think that Libra is going to be a factor in the market, to be completely honest.

Its development is already stunted by the fact that it has a lot of its long term partners like Paypal already pulling out. They were going to obviously provide valuable infrustructure and technical support to Libra and with their withdrawal long term fundamentals have significantly worsened.

I also wouldn't put too much weight on central bank cryptos, as even if they do get launched it's not likely it'll have a wide impact on the decentralized cryptospace.

What concerns me is number 2 and 3. Where I want to see the effects of bitcoin halving on Mey later. Will there be a bullish movement that will start or will start in 2021? who knows!
For gaming, actually I would love to see an MMORPG game based on a blockchain. Where the currency in the game is crypto which can be obtained by carrying out guild or individual missions or becoming a trader in the game world. Or there is still a lot of work that can be done to get the crypto later. That way we can get rid of the current exchange concepts such as binance, kucoin and others. Because direct trading is carried out between players there by buying combat items or to eat for the characters. That way the image of playing games that only waste time can be eliminated by becoming a gamer who can make money.

I think gaming development is more interesting than other list. So far I see the progress is slowly but sure. Have many loyal member and price is more stable with significant volume. Other option is still need time and good news to release in market and I believe they need government regulation to running it, so gaming is the best for me.

What primarily caught my attention and interest among the list that was given are those under numbers 1 to 3 because so far those are the only ones I have known so far and read some news about it. Looking forward to know more about those as well as those on numbers 4 up to 6. There are really a lot of upcoming events that will soon to happen into the crypto community as year 2020 have been into our calendars. My interest primarily resides into of course the upcoming Bitcoin halving that somehow excites me to know what will be the after effect of this event to the whole crypto community. I am also looking up into the launch of the Libra coin this year and see what will be happening once it have already been launched. Last, since I am up into gaming, I am really interested on how gaming platforms will soon to be develop to suit the usage of blockchain technology into it and once it was already done, surely it will gain the interest of the other gamers out there. This year have really a positive vibes for me because of this upcoming events that can have an effect on how we perceive the existence of cryptocurrency in which I am looking forward for the success of those and hopefully, the result will be favorable to us all.

Bitcoin halving is just the top notch and everyone is looking forward to that, for libra coin I do not see it coming that soon and Defi is gonna be amazing as well so many good news coming to crypto this 2020. Let's anticipate the best .

i also think the central banks ARE implementing blockchain tech, but they WONT announce an official currecny, they will just act like they made their services better , but its really they are just on a chain now

This year I will certainly take some steps to advance the first point (Libra/Calibra ), but I will not wait for major changes. Zuckerberg will again bend under the geth of the American government and the judiciary

in 2020 there are indeed many big things that will happen in the crypto market. and the main thing that caught the attention of cryptocurrency users was about bitcoin halving day. then also about libra coins facebook says libra will be released in 2020 so that all crypto users are waiting for whether libra is released or not. and this year crypto users are also waiting for the launch of ethereum version 2.0. I hope these big things will have a good impact on the crypto market.

The development sis still in the progress as the whitepaper already released and it's not getting hold just because some countries are contradicting with libra.

China's very ow digital currency will spark the mainstream adoption we've all been hoping for and since bitcoin halving is in may too and hopefully ETH 2.0 i think this year will do a lot better than past years

Why are you too sure about the name Libra. I have not seen any signs that Libra will emerge in 2020. If we ask, of course they will answer that they are completing legal regulations. I followed the Libra information. If they have great support from various parties, why is the problem of legal regulation so difficult to solve? If Libra is the largest company, of course they have enough partners to solve every problem.

It's made by Facebook so I think for him it is worth considering that by this year if they will launch because people will be hyping this project. But it's a stable coin so there's no difference IMO with it compare to the other stable coins that we have already.
And in fact, those supports that has their back withdrawn themselves to the project but still there were remaining few that supports this project that's being made by FB.

Halving alone will be the biggest turn around event for the crypto market where a new bullish cycle will start that will stay for hopefully more than a year. All other events and positive updates like you have mentioned will also act as a stimulus and driving force in pushing the market up.

Are you not even watching the news site right now? Libra will emerge this year as stated on the whitepaper and they are on the test net mode right now and you can confirm it from the various media and i guess that will not so difficult to see that. It may get another delay until next year but for some countries that have been banning facebook and it will be a very difficult task to make them all accept it that why libra was choosing to operate in the country that was allowing it to developer its stable coin like switzerland.

I am also looking forward for those upcoming events this year 2020. Among the list you do have provided, there are three that really caught my attention and interest. Those belongs from numbers one to three. Due to the reason that those news are the ones who are the most being talked about since last year 2019. Talking about number (1) which is the Libra coin of the well-known social media platform which is Facebook, I do expect much from it in which I thought that this coin once launch will surely attract many people to go towards getting into the world of cryptocurrency. (2) The Bitcoin halving which is expected to trigger the rising of Bitcoin's price which I bet all people have been waiting for. I am looking forward to see what will happen to the whole cryptocurrency specially to the side of Bitcoin once its after effect takes into place. (3) Gaming development on Blockchain which really caught my attention because I do love playing that much so I am really looking forward to use my cryptos into playing the games that I love once gaming development has been able to fully adapt using blockchain technology.

Libra is still worth looking out for. It might not look at it but when the public know that something is backed up by a company as large as Facebook, they will more likely to support it even though they do not fully understand it. And if Libra become successful, it can influence other government or at least notice the advantage of cryptocurrencies.

Now I have no hope for Libra Calibra, it seems Libra won't make it live because of SEC regulations, there is no news about Libra anymore! I am more hyped for Bitcoin halving, DeFi and the gaming developments on Blockchain! Though many gaming projects we're launched last year, but they couldn't raise funds to continue it! I have no idea about Web 3.0, but as this one is unique in blockchain, so, I believe this web3.0 will add more happiness to the market!

I am excited about these two Bitcoin halving and Central bank currency. In Bitcoin halving there is a decrease of 50% in block reward I hope there is an increase in price. Central bank in china creating their own currency is a big move too, I guess it is already on developing stage.
