why are democrats in the us so upset about a possible iran war,

Exactly. Democrats are looking at everything Trump does with a microscope and trying to make everything he does look like it is wrong. They're just having a war trying to get the American public to vote democrat in the next election.

@OP I don't think anyone really wants war. Not The USA or the Iranians. Well they didn't until their top general got taken out, but war is only good for the war profiteers. Both sides of a war lose in the end.

The media makes it look like Trump is a murderer. All that Trump did was take out an Iranian general who was going to ultimately cause the war.

Trump's action may have been a war crime even though we all know US war crimes don't count.  Who cares what democrats would have wanted?  Quit with the "whataboutism". We have to go by what is actually happening right now. The US is guilty of everything they accuse Iran of.   Iran is a brutal government (so are most) but they are the victim here in this case and have been terrorized by the west for half a century.  The US has no right to operate in that part of the world and have spread the worst vile such as ALQ and ISIS and helping Saudi Arabia who funds it.  Iran has been fully invested in fighting this type of extremism in support of their allies. 

Once again Russia, China, Iran, Syria, North Korea, Venezuela all happen to be in the wrong and simply "evil" while the US is the savior who just happens to be the "good guys" causing conflict with these countries all over the world. 

The US is the only country to ever use nuclear weapons, used them offensively, and is the first to condemn any country that tries to develop them as a true defensive deterrent. 

Democrats and the MSM are consistently opposed to anything Trump says or does without exception. Trump has figured this out and will sometimes use specific language that matches exactly what Democrats were saying years ago.

The killing of whatshisface (the Iranian "General") was a good thing for the world, that rivals the killing of Osama Bin Ladin that should be met with bipartisan praise. The Democrats criticizing of Trump is likely being used in Iran state media, and is likely very similar to Iran state media talking points.

America is continuously invading countries in the name of terrorism and restoring democracy since 9/11 and it doesn’t matter who is in power whether its democrats or republicans. They both doing the same thing. The main player crafts the future plan and coming governments only execute that plan. You can easily guess who that main player is.

War is never the option and surely not the solution no matter the political party or ideology because the casualty of war does not discriminate against Blue States or the Red States everyone will be affected and not only those at the war front everyone including citizens of countries that no nothing about the treaties or the violation of such treaties. And when decisions or actions that would lead to those endeavors or untold magnitude of losses, people reason beyond political parties to backtracked and review whatever stand they have made in the past even those who are provoked to make such decision.

There were posts in facebook that Trump only did it because he wants to delay the impeachment proceedings. It could be true. He seem afraid of this impeachment when he seem to have the numbers supporting him.  Demo still doesn't like what is happening since its Trump that's doing it. They hate and disagrees everything he do.

They really should not hate EVERYTHING he does.

Possible, but couldn't this get him in more trouble with Congress, not to mention it might cost him 2020? From what I remember, they taunted him on Twitter after they sent an armed mobbed to the American embassy.
