I believe that the time will come, slowly the altcoin starts to crawl up now and my hope is that by the end of the year it will be like this last year. The number of short positions fell to a historic low.This suggests that the bears have exhausted their strength, and perhaps soon we will see the growth! I hope so.

A lot of new bottom floors have already formed since last year and the bitcoin price is even getting mature than before. The bearish trend's strength is not so strong as last year. The bullish trend will make it exhausted as more people will come to buy bitcoin.

More parties are giving more and more hashrate to the network that will also increase the difficulty for bitcoin.

This year must be a very bullish year if we are seeing so many good results in the market.

Many believes but only few take an action on how to come up with their losses on the bear market and if they bought some of the alts when it is been dumped provably they can regain their capitals slowly. Although there's hope for something great like a great revive of the prices in future but still you shouldn't rely for the hoping only on it since there are so many great things to learn from the past and apply it today so that whenever the bullish market come you will earn more from it.

There may not be a rise in alts as it was in 2017 BTC all time high. The situations are different now and the world is in a type of recession and investments might be only in Bitcoin. The projects which might become a reality for common people, only those may get money from BTC and may rise again.

people say that this year altcoin could go up like 2017, but signs like that haven't appeared at all, that's because bitcoin dominance is still too strong,

I think it's time to go against the bloody direction of the bear market since yesterday, everyone thinks that 2020 is a good time for a bullish market so I started to invest in old altcoin to look for profits when the altcoin market really rose sharply, I think everyone has been waiting for this for a long time and they have come slowly buying some other altcoins, starting now is better than waiting and hoping

there is no way we will see something like that this year considering how bad it was for the investor. these years bitcoin grows naturally, the price increased slowly because of demand and adoption. the bull run will eventually happen(it is because bitcoin halving, it is heavily affect the whole market) but it will not be as crazy as before because people tend to learn from their mistakes.

I think, almost all of us are waiting for the rise in altcoin prices. I think there are still effects that have left us in 2017. However, I also think that when the price of altcoin rises, it will make a profit that is not inferior to bitcoin. however, I am also waiting for the price of an altcoin to go up since 2018.

Maybe altcoin could be bullish, but I'm still not sure if it will be like 2017 or it might go up but not much. Yeah we can only see it as time goes on in 2020. It is very long bearish experienced by altcoin, making the market tired and become bullish, and that is normal because the crypto fluctuates.

we all believe that. but rather than waiting too long and discussing it constantly, I would rather find an opportunity and take advantage of any conditions such as doing daily trading. because if we just wait and hope, the assets we hold will not increase and we cannot get profits. whatever happens to the market, my only goal is to have to make a profit.

Having a hope is good and everyone who is holding an alt is expecting a rally in the market one day or the other and if you are holding a good coin then there will be a time it will go up, there are many dead coins in the market and there is no way that these coins will rejuvenate even if the market rallies but the top coins who are having a valid project will move up once the market starts picking up the upward momentum.

That's what I am doing as soon as i know that most altcoins were pumping when bitcoin started to grow. I automatically sell some of my altcoins in my portfolio to gain some profit and i did not make a mistake. And now, the price started to dump to some altcoins when bitcoin started to dump it's time to buyback.

Waiting for all altcoin to rise up I think it's difficult, we better entrust one / several projects that have a clear future. if you are interested you can try new coins which is a hot project with blockchain based , that you can look at like QNT, OCEAN, XTZ, DAG

You did a good job. indeed, that is what must be done to stay breathing in the crypto market. if we throw away opportunities and just keep quiet watching the market move and hope that a high pump brings high value to our assets it will be very long. now we must use the moment to still benefit even though it is very small.

Many if us waiting for it, and all hope that will come sooner or later, hope to see a good price this year and also some people might recover if they buy on bull run and hold for a new ATH. Maybe this will happen after halving who know.

If we wait for long term we may expect the profit very soon else we will find the profit for sure. There are plenty of investors available in the marketplace so utilise the situation and buy the coins for sure.
When you invest on altcoins surely you will also look for profit right in that instance you need to carefully choose the coin which can grow for sure.

Everyone agrees that altcoins had their share of bearish movements and they are at the bare bottom right now and should be higher but unfortunately nobody votes for it with their money anymore. There was a huge movement for altcoins two years ago but after many people lost too much money in that and not many lost in bitcoin that became a way of people saying "if I can have guaranteed little income thanks to bitcoin, why should I risk for higher income for altcoins" and people just backed out.

Definitely, there are still millions of dollars involved in altcoins every single day but there used to be even more and this amount just doesn't cut it when you consider it is divided into multiple altcoins versus just one bitcoin.

Hopefully, this year it will be better but I wouldn't hold my breath if I were you.

Definitely believe that a LOT of altcoins will seek new highs if we enter a new bull run. Only the strongest projects will gain traction though.

I believe decentralied orientated projects will do extremely well. Blocknet, just to name one is a good one to keep an eye on, why?

First of all, they are the leading projects on DEX developments, and they are working on decentralized oracles as well, which will make the project and it's network able to communicate to other blockchains, AND real world applications.

altcoin goes up a little is not a sign of growth but is making the price go up a bit and go down deeper like the stairs in my opinion the hope for altcoin or bitcoin to go up is still long maybe just a miracle that makes the price of bitcoin and altcoin go up

TRUE! We are not at the best time ever like what we had in 2017.
We should learn to move and holding for a very long time will not make us grow and our funds will definitely getting old in our wallets and decreasing the value.
What we should do this rate does more research and be confident about what we know! We should do trades daily and make profit in the moving market even it is bearish.

This time the growth of altcoin is caused by bitcoin and it's not even a small growth dude. You must see that about some people were also talking about that in the various threads. I do not think we have any choice but to hope like you in this uncertain market. Indeed a little more than that, because the probability for this year increase is more than last year.
Increase may not be the same as in 2017, but I do not think it would be carefree with the altcoins if BTC increases noticeably. What we have seen lately is a slightly different scenario, and the remarkable increase will not repeat this.

I think both altcoin and bitcoin need to be balanced and always have to grow together at all different stages. I suported what you said about the market bearish status because bearish trend is yet to exit the market but altcoin investment is not an interesting option for new investors due to there high manipulated in nature stance and also hard to manage sometime which why i believe bitcoin is the right choice for new investors.
Dont get me wrong, new investors can invest in altcoin but they may lack the knowledge of selecting the right coins.

I like the aspect of the market slightly resisting to dump in price despite the existence of dump momentum but i believe the weekend market will be some how bloody though and i would the moment to acumulate some genuine altcoin.

You're right for this actually the moment where crgpto day traders make some simultaneously profit but this current trend could also be dangerous for both experience and inexperienced traders

Everyone says and believes that when BTC drops you buy Altcoins cheap then when the BTC rises your Altcoins rises as well, so it is just playing with the ups and downs. Hence more the BTC will continue to grow more the Altcoins will be growing. Right now the prices are super low as the prices fell hard but I think this is the clearest indicator that price will increase soon. However, this is purely a speculation, it may not happen and that is the funniest part about cryptocurrencies that nobody knows the future price.

Theres no way altcoin and bitcoin will be balance together because are suppose to follow the bitcoin market trend and the time i checked that will only be altcoin with huge support and demand but doesn't mean investors are facing great risks as you claimed because what investors need to do is seizing the moment to accumulate some good alt which are long existing and literally follow the bitcoin market once the halving effect start.

The logic of thinking the bull is coming just because the bear has been around for a long time does not work in an irrational market. We have to remember,,, that bull runs do not last long and the reason we have been in this intense period of bear is simply because the bull market was too fast and too high (remember alts that had worth hundreds of dollars for practically zero usage!).

it's only a pump if it's not happening for a long time. Be careful with pumps and then dump. it is natural to happen and do not let you feel trapped there. bull will come when the market is ready with enough power not to immediately fall. better growth happens gradually and well as it is now than at a high pump but only lasts a few minutes then a dump occurs.

Not sure about all altcoins but I'm not sticking my eyes on Low cap altcoins like RYO and others because they are undervalued and not have don't any ATH. So, the chances of price rise are better on small-cap coins.

The bear market is still here and you can witness it if you follow the market regularly. The current altcoins have gone too low and cannot go down further because all investors have sold all altcoins and stopped planning to hold them. There are also a lot of altcoins dying and no volume. We will certainly have a new round of growth for altcoins, but not for all. Only a few good altcoins and gain achievements in this market

some said low cap coins have big potentials ( small but terible ) on the other word  . if that is what you believe then go follow your heart  . dont have ath does not mean that they will have ath soon but that also means that they can never experience thier own ath but they are undervalued anyway so its normal  . atleast they can provide steady stable profits  . that would be better than depending on the risky life of other more valueable alts and living toxicly  .

but I think the situation is much better now than in 2018 or last year. now there has begun to move from the market even though a little. We still in the phase of climbing where we keep on pushing the price to rise and to end up this bear market and to enter again in the bull market. I'm pretty sure that only strong altcoin will only survive on this coming year and I agree with you that most of the altcoins that no volume are now dying. But, there are still new upcoming more altcoins that will also rise and I know somewhere in this year 2020 we can really experience altcoin seasons.

Not only strong altcoin but it must have a working product to survive in this market. Crypto is have a very string market that the only good coin can survive. Those altcoin with zero volumes are getting dead. People are still moving to the promising altcoin rather than try to bet on the dead coin. They are still wanna seeing their money to grow even more.

Like last time Bitcoin went to 20000$ it also had great benefits for the Altcoins.
It also had it's problems with even more people and scams joining the market, but still it was a good time when u have Altcoins.

Also for example lets take EOS is worth 35000 satoshi when the price of Bitcoin goes up and the price in Satoshi stays the same, then Eos is automaticly worth more.
I guess the price in satoshi can change as well, but yeh these 2 years will show us what will happen to altcoins and Bitcoins, probably really important years as well.

I do also believe that altcoins will grow really strong in this year, but for altcoins have only trading pair with bitcoin or eth, there is a huge chance that those altcoins will be push to new bottom during bitcoin bullrun. Anyway, do not too hope about the altcoins season, it only happen if bitcoin break the ATH and keep the price at the ATH for a while or unless nothing could happen.

It is not a bad idea to stick to low cap coins and if it is a good coin and if you are able to invest in a good coin then you can make a huge profit but the problem is that is there any coin that can give you a good profit, it is better to invest in doge coin than any other coin the market rather than risking in any experimental project.

Actually, when the number of shorts is low, it means that people are optimistic and probably the price will fall even more

Definitely believing the same. Altcoins will soon rise along with BTC, and I actually believe a lot of altcoins will outperform BTC in terms of ROI.

Decentralization seems to be the next big thing, so I'm considering investing in projects like Blocknet, who's running a TRUE DEX, and decentralized oracles through their XRouter services :)

just a lucky start on the beginning of the year i guess.its still beginning,we cant make speculation based just from what happen earlier.however,the good point,we have another event to make it continue rising like halving of btc.

some altcoins are really going up these days. i have been watching their charts for weeks to see which one moves up often. seen some like XMR, Chainlink and Cosmos are among them, these are the kind of coins that has huge volume but slowly climbing up the ladder. XMR is not surprising. EOS is also going up as well. if this will continue while BTC keeps going up,  the rest of the altcoins might gradually trigger its bulls.

Nevertheless, i advise you not to choose altcoin project base on what the offer but base on level of community, miners and investors support.

Yes, you may not really expect much from altcoin this season, bitcoin is having a upper hand this season and it is adviceable to invest more in bitcoin to be at the safer side. No one should by addiction for altcoin have a beef for bitcoin. Some altcoin tend to improve nowadays but it is still following a regular trend. For the nearest bullrun. Bitcoin will have it.

Instead of waiting for altcoins price to go up, maybe we should do something about what could make them go up. Just to give an example back in the day ethereum price went up as much as 1500 dollars, it wasn't because people bought ethereum to get rich, wasn't because traders thought eth will go up and they can sell high, no it was because people needed ethereum for other stuff.

You could have used ethereum for investing into ICO's, spending on Dapps, using for blockchain projects and even started to use it for trading as well on eth pairs getting more common. So instead of hoping people will buy altcoins so it can increase, maybe we should spend 2020 on finding ways to make people actually buy altcoins, starting with BNB and IEO's etc, that could be a good way to make people actually want to buy and use it instead of just buy and sell.

Saying altcoins go up is still not exactly when what is happening is just an increase when converting altcoin to usdt, as for the conversion from altcoin to bitcoin, it doesn't have too many obvious transitions, it even seems to go down, so I believe that the value of altcoin does not actually increase, the value of bitcoin rising has affected the value of altcoin. There will really be a perfect time for everything. We have waited for much long last year 2019 for the Bitcoin's price to rise as well as with the Altcoins but that year leave us all hanging for expectation. But good thing that as this year 2020 have entered our calendars, we have seen the increase on Bitcoin's price value which is a good indication for a good start of this year. Surely those Altcoins that depend their prices from Bitcoin have benefitted into the rise of the price for as early as this year have started. I do hope also that the same thing will apply into the part of Altcoins that the prices will increase its prices or let us just say at least improve on a step by step on a daily or even weekly or monthly basis. The important thing that we must see is that there is a positive movement on the price of all Altcoins is already enough for me. I am not really expecting that much anymore of a all time price hike like what happened way back year 2017 because it seems incomparable for today's situation. Honestly, I am very optimistic about this year, I think this year Bitcoin and Altcoins both market will rise like the bull run. Alts totally depends on Bitcoin price movements, so, if the halving goes well and Bitcoin price hit a remarkable price zone then the crypto market environment will change like 2017 when everything became better!

I also hope that the pump will happen soon in the crypto market this year, but it seems that this is too soon to draw a conclusion. because, the reality is the market still has not shown a significant pump that will raise the price of altcoin. before that happens (large pumps), there may be price corrections and other schemes.

It is not really that easy for altcoins to go that high when bitcoin itself is having troubles right now. I know there are places that you can buy altcoins with fiat, specially like bnb and eth for example but the reality is that most people still buy bitcoin when they are going into crypto world.

It means everyone first goes into bitcoin then picks another coin if they want to, that creates an issue of bitcoin always having investors (even if they leave after, they bought already so they have no loss) but altcoins only have investors that come from bitcoin or got the money for free so there is always a leakage. Hopefully that will pass with time but I fear it will take longer time, at least long enough to get bitcoin high once again so people can look at other coins to make money.

Some altcoins are starting to grow faster than Bitcoin. I think this is not the beginning of the alt season, but certainly these are signals that 2020 will be much better than the previous one.  I don't even dream that altcoins will reach new ATH this year, but I would be happy if they rebuilt at least half of their value.

That is why we need to distribute our income and profit to different top altcoins aside from our earnings and investment in Bitcoin.  If we do this strategy, we can hardly feel that we have invested on our little own way and we are insured thay we will have a growing investment for a brighter and better future.

Patience is what we need here and also we don't give up. We've been having this before and we also get survived. We've noticed that the market is quite moving at low and this will giving us hopes that one day may this suffering and struggles will end up. But if we are an impatient person, we can't think that way but just to quit and leave.

Alt coins will rise as the bitcoin price rises. So, now that bitcoin price is marching up, there is an opportunity that major altcoins price will also be pulled up. So if you have waited this long, your patience will be soon rewarded. Just hang in there.

Indeed. Time will sure to come for the part of Altcoins to rise up once again just like what Bitcoin is currently experiencing right now. As of the moment, the top Altcoins are slowly making their ways to rise up their prices which is a good thing to have that boosts all our hopes that in no time within this year, we can also regain our losses and make our long time holding be worth it due to the reason that this year we are all expecting that the whole cryptocurrency market will rise up all together benefiting us all who have patiently hold into or assets despite of the downfall specially for the part of Altcoins. Anyway, I'm not so hopeless to think of quitting even the market will never give its best this year. I'm already good at the current price, though not all altcoins are in moving, it is already accepted that crypto won't be like of 2017 anymore. Will have to understand this and just continue our support.

I have so much positive feeling about this year bull run, because the start of this year is already really great in terms of price and also this year has many upcoming big events which will boom the crypto industry if the media making a news about it. So, invest now before too late.

The altcoins price might not showing significant growth but btc did so we can somehow expect the price of alts to rise due to the good news circulating around btc.

Think positive as long as your holding good altcoins there is a higher chance that it will rise again. Once the Bitcoin’s price will go up, it will pull everything on its path. So before we expect for altcoins to rise lets make sure that Bitcoin is okey first.

the opposite had happened, last week altcoin rose first (bsv effect) after that followed with bitcoin and now back down :(. yes indeed, the best choice is to have to hold good and safe coins to invest in but if you want to get a lot of profit (not guaranteed) you have to bet on altcoin which has a very cheap price outside of the top 20 CMC.

We are all now feeling Own self  as a predictor 😀😀. During two years we are hearing that people are saying continuously bitcoin will go $20k,30k$  even 50k$. But did not happen yet. It has been passed already two years people still predicting. But we hope Once  we will see the day when all prediction will be full filled.

That only happens when the bitcoin dominance is actually down. When people feel that the value of BTC is too high, then they will look to the alts to start pushing prices to create a balance. The same goes for 2017, when the alts grew a lot. alts' season will certainly come but it is also quite far, because this halving event of bitcoin will affect quite a lot. People will spend their money to buy more bitcoin instead of buying alts. Capitalization will once again focus on Bitcoin, this time dominance will be around 73% - 76%.

Not all the altcoins will rise when altseason started only few of them will make it, majority of altcoins will die and mostly projects without use cases and  working product will be eliminated which is good for the cryptomarket.

Bitcoin and the altcoin markets are just getting started. Bitcoin, as well as other cryptocurrencies, have yet to go through their largest cycle yet. Hopefully, we are going to see this in the next two to three years! But for sure, not all the altcoins will rise.

Yeah, more than likely, there will be a huge purge of useless altcoins coming soon. There's just too many coins out there and not all of them will get any money from the boost in the marketcap. It will honestly be good for the market because a lot of new people tend to want to invest in these projects in the hopes that they'll end up making 10,000% or more from it and if they're all dead, then they can't invest in them. actually i am waiting first for the"Rise of bitcoin" coz  i know after this my altcoins will follow,and also that is why i am diversifying my investments here so which ever may go Pump first then i have sure profit like every percentage of each.
and those copy project,mostly what can survive are those unique and original one,because we can rely that they have a solid project and not just looking for investors but for the progress of the company and the users.

I agree that those who are for real cause will survive and make a big run once the alt season rise back. Those projects that added real value and helps
the industry to be more useful being alternative to the current system. We do have speculated and waits for alts that will continue surviving and tailing bitcoin's success.

Altcoin season has always been a topic of great interest recently but I believe this will not happen according to many people predictions because this time the market is still being manipulated. I think Bitcoin dominance is completely overwhelming this market and altcoins are still very much dependent on Bitcoin so surely this time is still very risky if you choose to invest.

I rarely predict the future, but it may take a few more years for the altcoin season to come back and the market will be hard to come back to like 2017.

Everyone is believe that time will come that all altcoins will rise. Many are expecting that this year is year of altcoins dont stop believing I know that last year all altcoins become in red now I know altcoins will continue rise and their will be in color green. Expect and believe still be positive.

It is a tough call for all alts to rise though. But there are few who are making their way up on the stage, so I don't think we should have to recognize each of them as somewhat some of it are having their golden time pumping. Besides, you won't be investing all of 'em, and I bet you'll just pick among on the top list.

I think that only few of the altcoin can make it and follow up once the value of BTC soar high within the value of $20,000 - $30,000 because obviously top ranked altcoins has a large marketcap and the volume is high which is the reason it could rise their value.

And holding them for a long term is also good but it will depend if the developer will not left the project or sell their supply which happen before in some altcoins.

Certainly many altcoins will not rise after such a long period of bear market. However, I think that the next season for altcoins will come. At the beginning of 2017, no one expected what we saw at the end. I think that 2020 may give us a similar surprise.

I'd never lost my hopes by then. May altcoins suffer a big market drop after bullish but it doesn't mean that after all these days will put altcoins to an end. It surely there is a perfect time not only for altcoins but of the entire market. Will it has to say that this year might be of good or still in a bear season, and either of the two we still have to accept it.

all active altcoins will go up because the developers know what they have to do when the market is moving in an overall trend, it is still very potential because they will move in the right situation. The bitcoin dominance gives a lot of impact to the price of crypto but that will not so big as what has already done by ethereum. There is latest report about altcoin has mo correlation to the ethereum rather than bitcoin but ethereum has a very strong correlation with the bitcoin price and this gives domino effect to the crypto market and some people are taking it as the bitcoin domination to the altcoin.
The fact when so many altcoins are pegged with bitcoin. new ATH for bitcoin can be achieved a few years from now.

nobody knows about the direction of crypto prices especially altcoin in the future. altcoin sessions can come, but not all altcoins have that opportunity. now there is a lot of shitcoin in exchange. I think bitcoin has left the bear market. but until now the altcoin session hasn't arrived yet. hopefully the altcoin session will come.

Most definitely will not happen all of them to rise! There're many bad projects, bad because they can't deliver what they promised, they can't follow their own roadmap. Those projects will lose their supporters, what's left of them, and they will drop in price, not rise. I wait the rise of some altcoins, and I hope I have the right altcoins in my bag.

It is all just a prediction and altcoin is still a risky investment if the market can not rise well in the near future. Actually, Bitcoin has not been able to break out of the bear market and it is certain that the coin will have a big correction this month. Today, almost all coins are falling and that will certainly affect the psychology of investors so be careful with altcoins because this investment is unpredictable.

Hoping the same too. After looking at how alts perform earlier this year I went from skeptical to optimist that there would be another bull run this year for alts and Bitcoin.

This recent correction gives a nice opportunity to buy some Bitcoin and alts. I'm especially interested in ETH and LINK. Would start placing buy orders from here and lower to get a nice averaged-down price. Hope it'll pay off later this year.

This is so frustrating to see all of them wasn't able to gain successful results of their respective projects. Last year's journey has no further improvement even though their changing the strategy from ICO to IEO. People's trust was already blown away, and I can't think for a good solution that's highly commendable to help altcoins crypto community recover back to usual trend.

Well yes i am also looking forward for the performance of altcoins this year but i am not much expecting it to happen early this 2020, it might happen this mid year but i expect it to happen in the last quarter after the bitcoin halving. The usage of altcoins and the popularity needs to increase so that it will have higher demands in the market which results to a good price movement, but of course not all altcoins will rise, only those good altcoins in the market and the others altcoins may be left out.

We are expecting that to happen. I guess we need to be very positive on this one. Let us continue our support on whatever projects that will make Cryptocurrency alive again. We have gone through all the corrections and lessen if not totally eliminate scammers on the community and projects. We just continue on whatever we are doing right now and start buying Bitcoins and other top altcoins as part of our preparation to the rising market.

It looks like there is an alt season and most of the top alts may get good growth until Bitcoin is in accumulating zone. The market is still volatile but BTC needs to stay above a support zone and should move sideways so that alts get their investment. There are many top alts like Dash, which got good increase in the past 30 days and we may see more of this in 2020.

however, the OP is too confident that we have crossed the bear market. but, I want to say that I don't be unaware of the current increase. maybe we can see high prices, but the decline can also occur at any time. although the potential to have high prices is very large at the moment, but we also need to be mentally prepared when the price of bitcoin/altcoin does not match what we expect.

Its good to think positive even there's no assurance if the market will turn bull as time passes for this year. We cant say for how long we're going to wait until we see some improvement, its been a while since we last witness the alts to rise. But one thing is for sure alts like the well established coins can make it to recover once the market started to improve but other alts that has no uses will remain at the bottom hence make sure that you're holding altcoins that is worth investing.

There's no guarantees on anything. However, all indications are pointing towards a good year not only for Bitcoin, but for alts as well. I think as long as you stay away from the useless crap, you'll end up doing just fine and possibly even make more than you would had you invested in only Bitcoin. Don't get greedy and avoid things that no one has ever even heard of. That's how you end up losing all of your money.

Well, many are expecting that an altcoin season will start this year and yes it can happen and it cannot too but if it will happen, I don't think that it will be the same as what happened last 2017. I'm not pessimistic with regards to altcoins but I still believe that most of the altcoins out there will end up either being a scam coin or a dead coin ;).

There is unfortunately no such thing as thinking positively in trading. If you let your emotions dictate your decision this is 100% way to lose the money. You need to keep to your rules and execute it no matter what coz if you let positive/negative thinking into it you are just becoming one of the 93% losers. People were optimistic now, and only got caught in 10-15% rally bull trap that happened lately when their euphoria made them buy BSV or DASH. Wait, be patient and observe.

In conclusion, the potential is still 50% and 50% can not. however, the potential for an increase in altcoin is now greater than the previous year. I also do not want to be so hopeful with the pump that will happen, but I just want to prepare assets that are likely if this prediction is correct, the price will rise high.

Maybe you mean 2 years ago during 2017, and all altcoin holders also hope that the same thing this year altcoin will rise again. Also if the price of BTC goes up, of course the price of altcoin will follow.

I am waiting as well, but I do believe not every Altcoin will survive only the one's who are actually adding something to Cryptocurrency.
Only the best ones will survive and I think that is the way it is supposed to be!

Time will tell if we will see a new Altcoin rise but I believe something like Ethereum is a really good altcoin and will rise no matter what in the future.
In the past 2-3 years Altcoins really have been bleeding and if you sold them at the time when Bitcoin was around 20000$ and bought them back later again you have done a good job.

Just suggested your brain that the bull run will come abruptly even I hope so the bull run will come at the end of this month. But I just wondering, have you prefer for it? Don't just expect the bull run will come but you don't have anything to make money in it, or you just some shitcoins on your wallet but never had any popular coin such as bitcoin, ethereum or litecoin. Can you see the prices cryptocurrency now? And you can compare with the all time high price of the coin then you will see there most coin that far from its all time high and that mean you have more opportunity to make a lot of money in it. Many have considered that this year is cryptocurrency year, you have been seeing many altcoin that have increased in the early of this year.

This is not new mate, in every new year, altcoin holders believed that altcoin will have risen this year, but from the past two years, we haven't seen much growth in altcoin! The crypto market depends on Bitcoin, so, we need to pray for Bitcoin price growth. If the halving can a bullish run in the crypto industry again like before then surely altcoin will have bull run too!

not all altcoins will go up, that is what I believe. so, if you want to hold altcoin and believe in the increase, try to hold altcoin that really has potential. for now, it might be very difficult to change the altcoin we have into another altcoin. but, if you hold altcoin outside the top altcoin, then change it immediately. Such a year is very rare, it can even be said 4 years, so it's a shame if you use this opportunity to hold Altcoin that has little potential.

nope you are definitely wrong with that mate,there are currency that was not in top 20-50(if that is what you want to say in that "Top Coins" because impossible if thats in general because all coins are in record) because there are currencies that was just waiting for the right time when to push,i have some tokens and currencies in hold that i am in constant checking in team and project progress and all i can say that they are just waiting for a right chance,and instead of focusing in sales and advertisements?they choose to focus in development.

I am very sure that 2020 will be the year of the rise of altcoins, after two years of experiencing a bearish market. Now is the best
moment to show the price of altcoins will rise to the top. We will see recurring events like 2017, where altcoins experience a drastic
increase. Now actually already seen the price of altcoins have started to move up, although the increase can be considered small.
But it's a good sign, in my opinion now it's time we buy altcoins. Before the price will go up, but because investing in crypto the risk
is high. Then buy altcoins in a gradual way. Do not simultaneously use all the capital we have.

I think it will be too much to expect that all altcoins will rise cause there are only few altcoins that has the potential of being able to survive.
