One of our major problem in crypto space is unnecessary price predictions. Saying Ripple will touch 3$ to 5$ by end of this year sounds more like a hyperbole. A newbie might see such prediction and buy in hugely, if at the end the investment is not profitable, he/she start looking crypto from the bad end. It's worth investing in Ripple looking at the past development progress, but not on these price predictions. Besides if you've been in this space, you already know some of these predictions are unrealistic. BTW what factors were put in place to conclude that XRP is best investment opportunity in 2020 🤔 if I may ask?

Ripple is truly one among the potential investment, the major development over ripple is to serve the banking industry. This makes it to function same as that of a centralized asset. This makes ripple to be an manipulative asset, and most of the controversies too state this. Considering it's ath value, its present market value and the future of blockchain technology surely ripple is worth it.

although I am not particularly interested in this coin, there is the latest news about their partnership with Siam commercial bank by launching the SCB Easy application - to facilitate transactions with Southeast Asia as the main target of use. IMO Ripple is one of the best alternative crypto investment even though it has so centralised nature I really don’t putting small allocation for it. The CEO and its team really pushing the projects overseas, they really are focused on bringing the technology to other branded remittances worldwide.

Ripple can be a good choice for you to invest besides bitcoin, but don't forget that you have so many potential coins you can buy right now. So if you can analyze more at the market, you will find the other potential coins too. Don't forget to purchase ethereum besides ripple because ethereum can increase higher too, and I think most coins at the market will have a chance to grow later. But we don't know how much the price that ripple can hit in the future, maybe it will hit more than $1.

I don't think Ripple can rise well this year as this coin has a huge supply and recently lots of XRP have been unlocked. In my opinion, they can sell at any time and make the Ripple value collapse so it's best to look for a better new coin. There are currently many new options for you and you can consider some coins like Atom, Eos, Matic, Toko because these are 4 coins I currently hold.

I don't like prediction websites but i personally believe that ripple has all the chance to surge in future, the project has better ways of attracting partners and merchants, its very well supported because its centralized coin

another question from me, why and why people still believing in that fraud?
bch deceived a lot of people by saying they are a real bitcoin(changing the wallet name that is supposed to be bitcoin as bitcoin core and their bitcoin cash wallet as bitcoin wallet), I would rather invest my money into ripple than buying this fraud.

Bitcoin has been doing very well, it falls and quickly rises again, making a smart investor make a decision either to still long or short and wait for correction. For the record the performance of Ripple last year has been below expectation despite the numerous hype about it. I rather stick with bitcoin than   tirelessly waiting for Ripple to rebound in price.

I agree by investing in ethereum, ripple and also bitcoin. For me personally these coins are potential coins and can give us greater returns later because I also invested in all three coins. But this does not rule out the possibility that other coins have great potential, everyone certainly has different views about the coins that they think are potential and we should be able to look for opportunities from these coins.

No one in their sane mind would call Ripple the best investment opportunity of 2020. Newer coins would take away that trophy.
And when it comes to profit, we like to compare profit earned by old and large marketcap currencies. And comparing Bitcoin, Ethereum and Ripple, Ripple looks the least probable to have a high rise. Bitcoin is getting a halving and Ethereum an upgrade. Ripple is still struggling to exist.

Ripple won't go that far just like it happens last 2017, and I believe that was the highest price that XRP ever made.
Of course, we're not so hopeless about this coin but the reason why it is too hard to see XRP float above is because of a manipulated price.

Personally, I think yes, as Ripple is one of the most promising crypto and it has proven his existence already in the market and we really need it apart from that it is cheap, you can withdraw it faster than Bitcoin and Ethereum so it is really helpful for all people who are in need or money urgently and they keep developing .

If you see another coin that coming out now, very recently and asking for funds in an ICO and they state that they can print money whenever they want to profit themselves, you wouldn't give them 2 cents, but because ripple is very old and managed to market themselves as not the most centralized coin ever, people still believe in them.

Avoid investing on centralized crypto currencies,people can say this has potential to reach hig prices even people claim this will be next bitcoin but in reality these are just controlled by someone to make profits for them not for any holders.

actually I don't really believe in some crypto experts who predict coins can reach the highest price. I only believe that time can answer. regarding XRP coins I think, recently, XRP experienced a good price movement after btc was pumped at $ 8k. maybe if btc can pump back to the price of $ 9k then XRP has the opportunity to reach a price of $ 1- $ 2.

For me, Ripple has a great potential but there are some setbacks recently, I don't think its FUD news. Another is  Ripple says they can't control whale investors about their holdings which can change the price of ripple. Also, a billion I think is unlock, which will add to the current circulating supply.

For me the problem with XRP is that it is centralized and that the owners (Ripple the company) can create and drop billions of them whenever they want. This is one of the main problems with fiat currency: they can keep printing it.

So for me, the coin itself is really not all that great of an investment. BTC, at least, has a limited supply...and a small one at that.

What is potentially a great investment is the Ripple company. If that goes IPO, then I'd buy that. When it comes to utility as a coin for banks, it's already instituted and banks are using it. It's fast, it's essentially free (for banks), and it crosses internationally in an instant. It'll be adopted by centralized banks all over the world and that will make Ripple the company extremely lucrative; but not necessarily XRP the coin for the above reasons.

I have been hearing for years that ripple is going to go above 2 USD - 3 USD, but this hasn't happened yet, and I doubt it will be happening in the future. True believers of decentralized crypto currencies hate ripple. Their coin XRP, is actually a decentralized coin and can be easily manipulated by them. Again, XRP and banks are working together, but a true decentralized crypto currencies can never join forces with a bank since banks themselves are centralized and restricts financial freedom.
Now, it is all up to you. Invest in Ripple if you want to support this centralized currency, or else just go for some better coins.

It'll take some time until people will realize it what a big shitcoin XRP is in reality but recently, this process is speeding up luckily (XRP pice is declining compared to BTC)
So my conclusion: I would go for BTC of course.  :)

i upvote your opinion, it is true that XRP is still best on reaching many opportunities with many partnerships. But it lacks an effect on its price ( based on 2018 - 2019 performance ).
But IF ( big if ) BTC keeps bullish at this year (2020) soon every altcoin which traded by many people can get their piece of pie which naturally will be good for all investors. As per i have seen at these early days of this month ( January 2020 ) the price of alts vs fiat still on same effect as BTC. Hopefully it not changing for a while since i trading on alts too.

I don't want to expect too much on the ripple that will touch the price of 3-5$ at the end of 2020, because when the bullrun occurs in 2017 many predictions say if the ripple number touches that price. But ripple is indeed worthy of being made an investment other than bitcoin.

Just because they say it is a moderate prediction does not mean it is, they are predicting that XRP is going to give 15x at the end of the year and that is the minimum prediction, the upper range has XRP surpassing its all time high and giving 25x profits, unless you are an incredible investor then those numbers are huge and I do not see how XRP is going to reach those numbers, do they think bitcoin will do 100x or something? Because if that is not the case then forget about that prediction.

Ripple has a lot of potential plus the fact that it is trusted by investors out there. The problem is the price of Ripple is having a hard time to rise up that is why I am on the verge of investing and not investing into it. For me, bitcoin is still the best investment among all other coins. Even though sometimes its price goes really down it is still can recover much more faster than these coins.

Xrp is one of the sleeping dragons in crypto space that I know of, it has it's potential even when it's a centralized coin and I believe it's on of the reasons why it will do better in near future, just invest what you can afford to lose and add other coins like ETH and BTC to your list too

Even though Ripple is one of the best altcoins so far, I'm not interested in having it on the grounds that altcoin is currently still in a bad state.
and besides owning bitcoin, I also have two altcoins which in my opinion have always provided good returns so far like Ethereum and Litecoin that I can trust, and in my opinion every coin or altcoin owned must be based on strong and consistent patience.

XRP is similar like LTC in 2019, slow movement and stable in volume. If this become indicator to say best investment opportunity of 2020 I don't think so. Ripple will stay stagnant just like 2019. They release powerful news about the progress with some bank in Europa and event in Turkey. There are a few independent authors. So any article relating to cryptocurrency is not objective. So generally I do not support anything based on opinion of a particular person. I do not believe in ripple as it is just full of hypes. Rather I say Ethereum and Binance coin are the most investment worthy coins other than bitcoin.

Ripple is one of the top 3 crypto available at the moment and is ETH's closest rival, I personally am not very sure about xrp because I personally have never invested in centralized altcoin that is very young to be manipulated.

Although I am not much of a fan, xrp is at the top of the appropriate altcoins to invest. The current price is very low, and this is one of the biggest reasons to pump its price when there is an increase. At the same time look at other top altcoins as well. Because not only xrp but most of the top altcoins are ready for flight, they just wait for acceptance from the tower.

Its hard to trust on those website saying that this coins will not increase,  this coins will boom.  Because sometimes they don't gather enough knowledge about this and they are only basing on some not accurate reports. Its better to research on our own so that we will know what is the best coins to buy and not.

I heard a lot of talk about the rise of xrp this year but few can say anything sensible before it. If you see a perspective in xrp, then add it to your portfolio and just watch. Personally I currently adhere to bitcoin, although I also have xrp available.

I think you have too high expectations. I am pessimistic ripple will be able to reach the price of $ 3 this year. because currently the price of the ripple is only 0.21 so the ripple needs 14x increase if you want to reach the price of $ 3. With the current price $0.237428, xrp can recover much more this year but not up to the point of $5. It's all time high was on 2014 with the price of $3.84 so, I do not expect much for xrp to surpass that price this year. It is obvious that most people are not really listening to your advice since ripple is the third coin in terms of market cap and most likely this is going to continue to be the case for a very long time, I do not like that aspect of ripple either but you need to think about ways to obtain profits and if ripple gives you the chance of making profits then you need to take it and as soon as that ends you should sell it and get a cryptocurrency that follows more closely the philosophy of this market.

I'm not a big fan of Ripple but all indication and their current standing points that it is worth investing in Ripple, they are not in the third position for nothing and although there's one exchange that delisted it, I don't think it will have an impact at all, they are still good but once Facebook coin launch they will have a direct competitor.

I wouldn't invest in XRP in the long run either because its fundamentals is based on a centralized system which imo, sort of defeats the whole purpose of using crypto in the first place to take away the middlemen.

But the fact that they are able to partner with so many institutions means that they are able to attract investment from that field as well in the case of a bull market, which I think will be driven to a significant extent by the injection of institutional capital. So short term, I'm long XRP.

Can't deny that fact. Holding XRP is just simply too risky considering how centralized they are and not to mention that the mining pool is completely controlled by them. I can't even see why this coin is in favour of some people out there, I guess there always some outliers out there. But, the rumours regarding manipulation that  endlessly revolve around this coin what makes me stay away from this coin.
