The best form of promotion is by running bounty campaigns to reach out to the crypto community. Or if there are enough funds allocated for promotion, influencers can be helpful. Also AMAs especially on YouTube aids a great deal. Airdrops too go a long way. I'm still trying to figure out what you imply by distribute/sell 🤔 a new coin? If you mean token sale, then for now IEO on a reputable exchange should be the best bet.

As you are talking about better option of distribution, on the other hand, the best way to promote a coin is to have a real use case.
If you have actual application in the market, those satisfied users will endorse your coin to their colleagues or family or friends.
Word of mouth is one of the best marketing tools out there. They can truly increase your potential clients.
One can hold various social media bounties, however, if you have no practical use case, their enthusiasm will die down once your programs are over.
So it is better to cultivate your actual application and work on possible partnerships with other companies that may further influence your coverage of operations.

Well i'll probably hear lots of negative comments but I believe that the way Ripple aka XRP's "distribution layout" is setup is probably one of the best in my opinion out there. POW is the best but people are interested in POS consensus rather than POW but if you are really skillful and then create a platform with hybrid consensus.

IEO is considered as the best way to promote. but of the curse, it will not be worthy if you only list the coin in the bad exchange. Moreover, the thing to be remembered is not only about promoting but also maintaining how the coin can survive in the market.

I can't find any ways to promote, distribute and sell new project coin, if project hasn't good or legit. We know some project that will definitely success, how do we know? Only reason is project good. Scam project and low concepts project can't run IEO in top top exchange.

But I think for the moment a project must have an advantage or arguably the product that is delivered has a real use case because investors are now more careful in choosing a project and it will be difficult to attract investors to invest in the project if the project that is delivered is not has advantages.

Bounty campaign with logic allocation, i think bounty campaign allocation usually only take very little percent from total supply of the coin. To promote i think bounty still worth to do and maybe do some contest to see more efforts from participants of your project. But at first, make sure your coin/ project really worth to joined.

You're right. We do not need new altcoins in 2020, now is more than enough for us and we only expect the altcoin market to increase this year. Too many altcoins are created but there is no real purpose, most of them are duplicates of altcoins that already exist in this market and that is why so many altcoins die because of its uselessness.

many new projects we can see do not pay attention to what you say. there is no real product, even promises and plans made may be very sweet but not promising and unrealistic in market conditions. especially with the payment of campaign participants, many have ruled out this problem. and bounty hunters are only considered a problem for dumps in their markets.

I don't have any statistics of the effectiveness of bounties like signature campaign, because the scope of it would pretty much be only in this forum. Promotion in social medias like Facebook, Twitter and article/blogging sites like Steemit would give you more audiences and potential investors so focus on that. I am not sure if the ban of crypto-related posts in Facebook is still in effect, so I suggest you keep an eye out of that if you're planning to promote at that platform.

Best known ways of promoting your own coin that you are planning on building is bounties, if you have funding via some sort of coin offering and spend bitcoin instead of your own coin/token that is not even published yet, you will get much bigger support since bounty hunters prefer to get paid in bitcoin instead of a made up coin/token, that is to be expected of course.

I don't believe we need more technique to promote new projects. Only we can add trust site where new new projects will list instead IEO or ICO. For distribution token several process already exists in cryptocurrency on ERC-20 token but for new coin that's not possible.
