As an animal advocate I’m sleeping a bit less well at night knowing how devastating the Australian fires have been to their country and in particular their wildlife. I’ve seen too many devastating photos and videos and feel I’ve got to help at least a little bit.

I plan to auction a few items in a couple day’s from now and would like to invite anyone else who wants to help out to donate a collectible or maybe a few Satoshis. I have reached out to several Australian friends asking for charity recommendations and will announce 1 or 2 at time of auction.

I think we’ve got a great set of collectibles so far.  I will be a guest on an upcoming Bad Crypto podcast to talk about physical crypto and think it might make sense to wait and plug this. Likely a week or so. Plenty of time to still donate. Thx !

Quick update- I am beyond appreciative of the donations that have been offered by a handful of members for this charity auction. I am waiting on a few things to ship to me before I can kick it off, so I wanted to let those whom are donating know as well as give a heads up if anyone else wants to add to this auction, you've still got time.  Couple of our finest coin makers have generously offered up items so I think this should be a great bunch of items and a big win for this cause that needs all the help it can get.

Very cool, thx for sharing! I am still trying to decide on exactly which Australian charities to choose from. I got a few suggestions from a friend of mine who lives there and she's a big animal advocate so likely going with those after a tad more vetting but will check these guys out too. cheers!
