Title: Does it prove that jvdp is a merit seller and p2pclub is a buyer? Read in.
Post by: sujonali1819 on January 16, 2020, 08:06:03 AM
I have informed by my friend that there are some gigs on Fiverr about merit selling a few days ago. And now I am sharing some information here. Though there are many Gigs there but I am talking about a gig which has some information.

So the gig link: fiverr.com (https://www.fiverr.com/crypto_ico_/supply-merits-for-your-bitcointalk-and-member-rank-accounts?context_referrer=search_gigs&source=main_banner&ref_ctx_id=0846582b-2361-4cd7-ab89-42a0eea5016f&pckg_id=1&pos=1&context_type=auto&funnel=4e421a7d-6f60-47eb-8a35-24d88b0b45a4#/)

In this gig, a client made a review with a photo of p2pclub (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=2660733) bitcointalk account.

Now, Look at the  merit summary of p2pclub  (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=merit;u=2660733)

So this account has only one merit that is sent by jvdp  (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=302808) who is a hero member.

Now if you visit merit summary of jvdp  (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=merit;u=302808) we can see that the user sent some merits to some users where all are the newbie accounts.

p2pclub account url: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=2660733
jvdp account url: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=302808

So, could we now decide that jvdp is a merit seller and p2pclub is a merit buyer? If yes, then DT should tag them. Thanks all.

Note: If jvdp were a merit seller then all the newbie accounts where he sent the merits also a merit buyer. But it has not enough proof  :) :)

Indeed, this is not enough proof. I think the only 100% proof in such cases would be actually to engage in such a discussion / transaction and post here the screenshots.

Unfortunately not enough proof....
Anyone could have posted just as revenge.

But, looking at the p2pclub.io I found something interesting...
What of the happy customers of that website, Karen, has a pretty interesting look.

I'm linking the image (https://i.imgur.com/ATPP8w9.jpg) as it's a bit too big for the forum, and I might be wrong but those are traces of face modification.

Be very careful there, "sting operations" are frowned upon and sometimes lead to negative feedback on the person carrying it out.

I still think merit sales aren't really a problem. It's expensive, we can't stop all abuse, it's a tiny fraction of the total Merit economy, but most of all: it's very obvious when a bad posts receives Merit. Any campaign manager who does his job could easily spot that.

jvdp (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=302808) already has negative feedback for cheating a campaign.

Yea, I also noticed this previously that jvdp already tagged by yahoo. Actually only Tagging him was not my main motive But I wanted to get some touch from the community about this fact and the information. Anyway, thank you.

NO ! It doesn't proof they are merit seller/buyer. Just imagine, if I had sent merit to p2pclub somehow so will you also consider merit seller? Of course not I think. If seller somewhere on the forum made post his fiverr gig then I can tag easily even he didn't sent merit. Because, there should be solid evidence before tag merit seller. Anyone can take my profile screenshots and could make gig or review on fiverr, so it doesn't prove anything. Who know if seller arrange fake reviews, even reviewer not logged in in his/her bitcointalk account. Anyway, tag isn't appropriate on current evidence in my opinion. I can't believe why someone should pay $15 for single merit where they could earn it by make a decent post.

Obviously not. I have also thought this But I saw there is only 1 merit p2pclub got and jvdp sent some merit to all the newbies. So all the information and documents prove that it is really something suspicious[my personal opinion] But yes, it is not enough documents Which you have thoroughly analyzed and explained here. So thank you for that. So I don't want to move this discussion to ahead but I will tell all to take care of that. Thanks all
