Title: [List] Instant exchanges
Post by: OmegaStarScream on January 17, 2020, 06:27:00 PM
Since we're starting to see more and more "Instant exchanges" lately, and Changelly/ShapeShift are no longer controlling that market. I decided to make a list of these exchanges, hopefully some of you might find it helpful.

❗ IMPORTANT ❗: The "no-KYC" services listed here can still ask you to verify your identity if they ever detect a "suspicious activity" in your account.

For a long time I could not decide on a good exchanger. I was always afraid to send my money to sites with even good reviews and I never wanted to go through a document check.

Godex looks very, very good, thanks, you helped a lot.

About edit:

From the first, I did not even figure out which one was scam.
Please change the icon to a more visible one and strip it red, if not difficult, it will be much better.

Thanks for the list, I want to try Godex because that site doesn't require registration and no KYC why it has been not popular yet when shapeshift and chagelly has lot of issues recently? ???

They can be trusted for any amount?

@Findingnemo regarding Godex. I haven't used their services before so I can't really vouch for them. I would suggest you do your own research before using them (or any other exchange from the list).

@elmanchez these emojis seem to be displaying just fine for me. Which OS and browser are you using?

you might add https://flyp.me/ to the list. i've used them a few times without complaints. they don't have huge liquidity but it's more than enough for most small/casual users.

like most exchanges, there is a scam accusation (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5088396.0) or two out there. however, the lack of complaint volume leads me to believe the above accusation does not necessarily tell the full story or indicate typical user experience. btc-e, bitfinex, and many other legitimate exchanges have faced plenty of similar complaints.

Can you add the exchange from my signature? I mainly like it because it allows very small exchanges, and doesn't charge a transaction fee (only a percentage).

I've been using Changenow lately without any issues.

They generally provide better rates on smaller transactions compared to Changelly which charges a 0.0003 BTC flat transaction fee on all BTC related output.

I would only recommend changenow for small amounts though because of the fact that they've had trouble with KYC before, despite advertising themselves as an anonymous exchange in the past. Though I haven't had any troubles with them personally, I've kept my transaction size <0.01 BTC always and it doesn't guarantee that anyone else won't have issues with them.

Btw, IIRC, ChangeNow is either owned by Changelly or they use them and are just some kind of middleman. IIRC, someone had a lot of coins stuck in them for months and they said it was a problem on Changelly.

Take a look at this long thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=4619534.0

Will advise if I come across any.

That is good stuff, the list is very informative but so far I didn't experience them all aside from ShapeShift which is I used twice before.

I have found one but I didn't sure about this. I'm searching in the forum there's no scam accusation I have found and they made an account here in the forum named, evonax (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=1933604). This is their instant exchange, https://www.evonax.com/faq. But I doubt why they dont have fees, how they can generate profit by that? Or selectively scamming users. But so far no complaints.

Nice exchange, i have just checked it out, and I am definitely going to bookmark it. The rates are one of the best and i love the bit of small exchanges too.

Even if the websites are labeled "NO KYC" it's good to remember that they can still ask for our identities at any time if a transaction is flagged as suspicious through their internal controls.

- Stealthex.io https://stealthex.io/ supports ~250 coins and has a rate of 0.4% per exchange and no KYC
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5063962.msg47623219#msg47623219

- Flixedfloat https://fixedfloat.com/en/ has ~20 coins, with lightning network, and a rate of 1% if you opt for a fixed-rate or 0.5% if you opt for a floating rate https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5107342.0 mentioned already, sorry

Same here, I was using them for GRC (I think) a while back and they were pretty reliable.

I was looking for exchanges that sell RDD, as there aren't that many these days and I came across Changeangel (https://changeangel.io/), which is an instant exchange.  I've used them about four times in the past month and have had no problems.  No KYC is required.

I have that ANN section on ignore and am too lazy to un-ignore it to check to see if Changeangel had a thread, so perhaps I'll leave it to someone to look up.  Apparently you can't even search in sections you have on ignore.

I have not heard before about 'Changeangel' exchange before you mention here. I have searched on forum about their exchange if there is any official announcement thread, but unfortunately they don't have any. Although I had not use this exchange but looking good their exchange.

OP can take a look on Exolix exchange, although I had not used myself but according to team they got some traders from forum. I haven't seen any scam accusation against them yet. Its instant exchange and user could exchange crypto anonymously, registration isn't required.

Changelly is a great exchange, why that bullshit red dot? shapeshift is decent aswell.

The reason is explained, isn't it?

Is this the non-ref link you're talking about?[1] Looks like the volume is really low for some pairs.

Added all the mentioned exchanges to the list. Thanks, everyone!

OP does coinswitch.co also fall in this category of instant exchanges? If it does then here are the details:

Not sure. Mind explaining how does the exchange exactly works? It looks more of a search engine.

I can see that whenever you choose the pairs you want to trade, a list of exchanges is given to you. Do they buy the crypto from these exchanges using their accounts API and then re-sell it on their platform?

As I said, I was too lazy to un-ignore the ANN section in order to search, but it's not surprising they don't have a thread.  I think they're new and although I'm not endorsing them, I have used them for small trades with no problem.  I definitely wouldn't risk big amounts of crypto on some no-name instant exchange, which is basically what Changeangel is at this point.

I've listed them but do they have any threads on the forums? I couldn't find any.
Apparently not.

Yep, it's more like an exchange marketplace. The list of partner exchanges that appear show the different rates for comparison, so, in away the list gives the person who wants to exchange his coins a choice.

When you want to exchange, they provide you with a wallet you send coins to, then they do the who swap process for you within around 5 minutes from the exchange of your choice.

Edit:
As i was searching about it in the forum, I found some member who made a summarized guide of how to swap. Maybe it can help you understand how the service works: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5115860.msg50083602#msg50083602

Thanks for compiling the list, I'll try to run through them to find the actual fees present and report back here. Would be nicer for people when deciding to know what exactly 'fixed fee' means for the site, so I'll go grab those and post again with them.

+Merited.

Edit: Ah, I see that fixed fee is more pointing to the FIXED RATE portion of things on these websites. Going to be hard to find the fees, as they're going to be ever changing depending on the spread. Welp.

put a red dot on changelly make me laugh .... the only exchange with a reactive customer service, already several problems with them, it has always been resolved ..... you should review your logic of who scam who .. ..

ex/ ChangeAngel.io    1000dgb =0.00073 btc by cons on their site these 0.0002 btc oO ....

at least check the exchange rates before listing them .... i won't even finish looking at changelly suits me very well!

Instead of coming here to blindly shill the well known selective scammers, Please head over to the scam accusations board and type "Changelly" in the search button and you see for yourself.
I wonder what your motive is here  ::)

I watched the subject on changelyly it dates from 2016, you want me to send you the email to exchange with them? I had transaction errors ect, I asked for the cancellation of my order it was returned without any worries or additional costs ....

then my motivation, when I see changelly being treated as a scam, while other sites are more than suspect and worrying are freely displayed ....

Anyway, I just see ...

i see that i wonder who scams who?  https://anonfile.com/P3kfD2Q5n0/qqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqq_png

if he wants to list the exchanges which does it loyally! these steps because changelly had a problem or problems that scam you .... I use their service for 4 years no worries ....
if a transaction takes too long a small message to the support of the site and I cancel my transaction, can the same be said of the others? ....
In short instead of reading sayings will try the service and we will talk about it again ....

@OmegaStarScream here is the some details that would help you understand how CoinSwitch.co works.

About CoinSwitch:
CoinSwitch.co is the world’s largest cryptocurrency exchange aggregator. It provides an exchange service of over 300 cryptocurrencies and over 45,000 pairs from leading exchanges like Binance, HUOBI, Ethfinex, KuCoin, HitBTC, and IDEX. It provides an easy way for users to trade coins across multiple exchanges based on price and reliability.

Step by Step Youtube Tutorial to make an order at Coinswitch :
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H9P1MilTbW0

Their fee:
CoinSwitch charges a fee of 0% to 0.49% depending on the exchange you select for your transaction. The conversion rate you see is inclusive of the fees.
Note: This fees does not include any amount charged by the exchange itself and the network fee.

These information is from their FAQ page:
https://coinswitch.co/#faq

Hope this would help.

I think it's a matter of time before Godex goes hard on the KYC stuff. Remember, Changelly was like that when it started operations until it had to force users (I was affected too) to a mandatory KYC. Let's enjoy the Godex moment while it lasts. This isn't taking anything away from the OP's compilation compilation.

Since some people don't seem to understand why some exchanges are 'dangerous' to use, I decided to post the scam accusations (that I find to be serious) against these platforms:

Changelly:

- Suddenly changelly requires a KYC / AML procedure. But how do I proof ownership of my coins?? (https://www.reddit.com/r/Changelly/comments/88xyko/suddenly_changelly_requires_a_kyc_aml_procedure/)
- CHANGELLY - Illegal exchanger from RUSSIA with FAKE team (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5034589.0)
- Russian Changelly, Atomic Wallet, ChangeNOW, Guarda, Ink.one, Evercode Lab  (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5026942.0)

Okay firstly, thank you for this list, it feels good to have multiple alternatives to shapeshift. The KYC requirement for their exchange saddened me to quite an extent. I have heard quite a lot about flyp.me, so I might give it a go. Also, Coinswitch seems amazing, its apparently an instant exchange that takes offers from other exchanges, automatically trades for you, and sends you your desired currency. Gotta admit, its pretty dope.

Also, why keep exchanges like Changelly and Changehero on the list? They are shady at the least, and if people use this thread as a basis to go changelly and get their coins stuck or anything, then the whole point of this thread would be in vain.

Title: Re: [List] Instant exchanges

@OmegaStarScream i recommend adding a new heading (like "scam accusations") under changelly, changehero, and similar exchanges. most people probably won't scroll to the bottom to read the legend.

Also, why keep exchanges like Changelly and Changehero on the list? They are shady at the least, and if people use this thread as a basis to go changelly and get their coins stuck or anything, then the whole point of this thread would be in vain.

i still see lots of people who swear by changelly (some of whom posted in this thread). it reminds me of the situation with BTC-E a few years ago: the vast majority of people had no issues with them, but a few people got selectively scammed. that was enough to paint their bitcointalk account red, but nevertheless, BTC-E was still widely trusted across the entire ecosystem. i used (and trusted) BTC-E until the day they were taken down.

maybe there is some middle ground here?

Just after doing some inital looking at some of the fees (the difference in exchange rate between some sites and a site like binance) This would mean that the fee (or convenience fee) for using a site like FixedFloat would be in the realm of .6-.5 percent. So about 1/2 a percent. This means that when they say fixed float, they're not messing around.

Not that bad to be honest, I think that's pretty solid if you want to try to be as anonymous as possible or if you want to use the LN (which is possible on Fixed Float)

Going to be trying some of the sites out and editing this soon.

I mean, the same logic could also be applied to yobit also then, because not everyone on yobit has been scammed either. But will you recommend people to use yobit? I don't think any sane person would willingly do so.

I had genuinely thought changelly and shapeshift could change the exchange game in the market back then, and the change did happen, but in more of a negative way, so yeah I wouldn't recommend people to use changelly. Keeping changelly's name on the list is pretty much recommending people to use it, and I don't think the name should be on the list.

Keeping changelly's name on the list is pretty much recommending people to use it, and I don't think the name should be on the list.

But would censoring help in the long run? Even if they didn't see the shady exchanges here, there's still a fair chance they would in other places especially for popular exchanges like Changelly. Worse it could be a positive content that can lead to them trying the exchange and encounter problems like stuck funds.

There are two reasons why I won't try an exchange (talking about first try), it's either I have no idea it existed or I know it's too risky. I think it's better this way laying it all out. Since they're here viewing this thread might as well see what needs to be seen.

Maybe op can put an addition to the emoji for warnings like what @figmentofmyass suggested making it impossible not to check their scam accusations? lastly, how about placing the legend on top before the first exchange?

The only exchanges I would trust from that list are changelly and shapeshift, and you didn't add xchange from freebitcoins.

The case was resolved and the money has been sent back to the owner. Here is the full response from changehero: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5219589.msg53745329#msg53745329

This can't be an objective opinion because i don't expect you had try all the exchanges in the list. Some of them are also trusted even more than Changelly and Shapeshift.
You somehow missed to take a look at the accusations against them listed in a previous post :
Changelly:
- Suddenly changelly requires a KYC / AML procedure. But how do I proof ownership of my coins?? (https://www.reddit.com/r/Changelly/comments/88xyko/suddenly_changelly_requires_a_kyc_aml_procedure/)
- CHANGELLY - Illegal exchanger from RUSSIA with FAKE team (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5034589.0)
- Russian Changelly, Atomic Wallet, ChangeNOW, Guarda, Ink.one, Evercode Lab  (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5026942.0)
As long they are proven guilty, i can't trust them or recommend them to others even i didn't face any issue while using them.

you didn't add xchange from freebitcoins.
This is a good one but not that much popular. Maybe more trusted than Changelly and Shapeshift. I wish people won't get confused with xchange.me which is another project (no reviews) or with xchange trading app which is a confirmed scam.

Since we're starting to see more and more "Instant exchanges" lately, and Changelly/ShapeShift are no longer controlling that market. I decided to make a list of these exchanges, hopefully some of you might find it helpful.

Hello,

We are sorry to see our service marked as not recommended to use in your list. Changelly has been operating since 2015, and many users from all over the world have trusted us to exchange their funds since.
Regarding the links you posted, 2 of them are related to an issue that occurred on another service and has nothing to do with Changelly. In regards to the KYC procedure, the transaction in question was completed and the customer received a full refund.
Actually, speaking of KYC checks: this procedure was implemented in order to comply with the regulators’ policies and combat money laundering. We process a huge number of transactions daily and KYC helps us prevent fraud and, consequently, protect innocent users. There are plenty of cases when we receive hacked crypto from different services, like Bancor, Coincheck, Bithumb and so forth. We also help legal authorities find hackers and return the stolen money. In fact, 99.9% of all transactions do not go through the KYC check.
Changelly team would like to offer you an opportunity to make a transaction on our service and tell Bitcointalk users about your experience. Please DM us so we could discuss the details.

CoinSwitch - one of the best instant exchanges aggregator available out there - really should be on that list

@OmegaStarScream
Thanks for compiling that list! It's very useful.

Added (Thanks to LeGaulois):

- Bity
- Fox.Exchange
- InstaEx
- Boltz

I have removed Changelly from the list and I'll be removing any other exchange that uses KYC as a way to scam people.

I found a couple of more exchanges (Totle.com and LiquidSwap.com). Has anyone tried them before?

you might add https://flyp.me/ to the list. i've used them a few times without complaints. they don't have huge liquidity but it's more than enough for most small/casual users.

Name: flyp.me

Looks like they do have KYC, but on a case-by-case basis. So in the KYC field it should say something like "No/depends".

Other than that it seems to be the most reliable one, can you rearrange them according to reliability, member reviews or fees?

Member's reviews from platforms like TrustPilot? If so, then I think that would be a waste of time since these reviews can be bought. I'm not sure about ordering them by fees either, since these don't differ much.

The following exchanges have been added to the OP (after trying them):

If you haven't noticed it yet, all these types of sites work the same way more or less and can ask the users at any time their personal information. You can see it in the  UAs or the T&Cs.
Sometimes it is not explicitly stated or it is subtle to make the user believe that there's really none. Or sometimes they intentionally omit to say it.

When compared to a swap from crypto to crypto, yes, but with Paypal, it's something different, it's a normal rate. If you search on LocalBitcoin for example you can easily find yourself with a rate twice as high.

Not bad I would say, I'd rather use such a website and pay a 10% rate than use LocalBitcoin, to pay 20% and have the risk to have a chargeback on top of that.

Fair enough. The reason I didn't recommend it though is that I was comparing the rates to the ones I usually find here in the forum (1:1 or +5% tops) and not other platforms.

Has anyone tried Swapy.app before? I'd like to hear some of your thoughts about it. Also, do you guys think I should start adding platforms like UniSwap, Curve, etc. or should we stick with BTC exchanges?

This topic (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5317457.msg56354375#msg56354375) brought me here again. I needed for an instant exchange for Forkcoins a few times, but wouldn't know which one to trust. Simpleswap.io for instance has a low minimum amount, but their topic (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=4187686.0) has mixed reviews.

It would be really great if you can add a (un)reliability rating to the list.

Looked at Swapy.app for something and then foud this thread.
They have 6 coins 2 of which I never heard of. I don't think you are going to find many users.

Also, I would just keep to BTC exchanges, if you start to add every UniSwap type place it's going to become too cluttered. If you really want to do that I would put it in a separate post, probably in the Altcoins section since with most (all?) of them there is no way to get BTC. It's all ETH.

Not sure what happened to coinswitch but I don't think it deserves to be on the list of instant exchanges anymore. The whole layout is now different. More like regular exchanges where you purchase or Bitcoin for fiat and vice versa. Like how coinbase.com operates.

I don't see the feature to instantly exchange crypto to crypto like it used to be.

That's strange. It does appear that they're no longer offering that service but I can't find any official statements from the team. @Koenigswanderer

We all know since the begining the sites listed in the original post can ask for identity verification when they want, as they please if their system detects something suspicious. But the main point is that you can make a swap without an account and without verifying your ID. Again, unless they detect something shady.
It's like joining Facebook: you don't have to provide personal documents but they can ask for it whenever they want if they detect something suspicious

The information isn't outdated, it's a matter to people to read the ToS before using any service

Then he can change it like Flyp.me to No/depends instead of No.
I don't think that you can assume that everyone is reading the ToS before using the services.

And if you all know that then why is this information not shared before listing all services?
For me this is clearly false informations. Change it or make it explicit that they could ask for KYC.

That shouldn't be a hard task. Assuming that it's not done by purpose.

Probably, but that's because someone suggested adding it (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5218464.msg54723251#msg54723251) several months after the topic was created, and he only applied it to flyp.me.

I don't think that you can assume that everyone is reading the ToS before using the services.

But everyone should do this before using anything, it's a matter of responsibility and due diligence. We can't complain if we haven't read "a contract" before using it. It's like if you take out a loan at the bank, don't you read the terms?

Quote
And if you all know that then why is this information not shared before listing all services?

Because it's something usual that most of us are used to, it's something well-known (but apparently not enough). I was talking about it (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5218464.msg53649062#msg53649062) myself in the first page of this discussion.

I wouldn't call it misinformation but rather a lack of information or an omission, idk.
And I can't change anything, this is not my topic :)

- flyp.me added the lightning network a couple of months ago https://hive.blog/bitcoin/@flypme/instant-crypto-exchange-flyp-me-adds-support-for-bitcoin-lightning-network

- Instaex.io is offline

- CoinSwitch has changed I believe. It's now an app for phones in which Indians can buy cryptos after the KYC (from what I understand)

freebitcoins.com/swap is updated to https://altquick.com/swap/

https://altquick.com/swap/
It works well, even on Tor, but the exchange rate is quite bad.

Quote
(no kyc, but only uses our exchange on https://altquick.com/)
That's probably the reason for the bad exchange rate: the spread between Bid and Ask is very large for most coins.

I've been using simpleswap since i came across it 2 years ago on hive blog post, it works fine. Had issue couple times, support resolved them promptly. Amounts were usually around $300, you may get scammed if you are very rich idk :P

Removed from the list:

- MorphToken (the site is live but you can't exchange).
- InstaEx (the site is down as mentioned above).
- Fox.exchange (they're no longer operational, but you can still contact the support if you need help with an existing order).

I can see that there are some new (instant exchanges) added to KycNotMe: https://kycnot.me/

Has anyone tried them? Some of them are only available in Tor.

CoinSwitch Kuber (the fiat exchange) officially launched back in 2020[1] but at the time, the exchange aggregator was still running... I'll remove it from the list, thanks for letting me know.

You forgot to remove coinswitch from the list mate  ;)

Now they are even geo-blocking users. Is anyone else able to access it or does anyone know from which particular jurisdiction they are accepting clients?

According from their terms of service, they only service people from India but you can probably access the website from other countries as I used a Singapore IP for this lol.

2. User Registration

2.1 Before You register on the Platform by creating an User’s account with the Platform (“User’s Platform Account”) or use the Platform or Services at any time and from time to time, You represent and warrant that you...

...(d) are an Indian citizen, as contemplated under the Citizenship Act, 1955, (e) are a person resident in India, as contemplated under the Foreign Exchange Management Act, 1999, and (f) are physically situated in India at all times during which you use the Platform or Services (together, the “Eligibility Criteria”). If You do not meet the Eligibility Criteria, You shall not register on or use the Platform or Services.

In case anyone is wondering, KYC is ofc mandatory.

Once you’ve registered via a 5 minute KYC process, you can start trading 100+ coins with no lock-in period. You can start with as little as ₹100.

There is no trace of an instant exchange on the website.

Everything is about their new product which is basically a diet coinbase - you have an app for easy buy and sell and a pro version on the web for those wanting a trading terminal. On the pro version and from the screenshots available on their website, every trading pair is with fiat.

I haven't had the chance to look into their app as I probably have to KYC in order to access it and there seems to be no support articles about it on their website either but I expect it to be more or less the same. Further, If they do ever offer crypto swaps in there, it wouldn't fit into the instant exchanges category since you have to do the tedious steps of making an account, deposing into your wallet first, etc... instant exchanges removed as a selling point.

Are you guys still able to use coinswitch? Even if I use a VPN or not, it's not allowing me to access the website. I've used them before and was having no issue at all until I can't access them anymore and I don't know if some changes have made.

I've checked their ANN thread and saw that their rep left a neg rep by logfiles. Probably there's a relation to why it's no longer accessible and if so, I guess it should be removed from the list.

You should be able to access the site with an Indian VPN, I just did.

But as mentioned in the previous page, it doesn't look like they're operating as an instant exchange anymore. It's just fiat (INR) <> crypto app now and they recently launched "CoinSwitch Pro"[1] which acts as an aggregator for CEXes (Indian ones only) and is meant for arbitrage trading.

I left them a neg because they had lots of scam accusations around, including in their ANN thread, and they never bothered to come around to resolve them. Even their trust pilot is full of accusation to this date.

Initially they had a main account that got banned for some reason, and then they decided to use a couple of Alt accounts as reps, but they would still not resolve issues amicably, or they would just ignore the complaints

Maybe the ban made them abandon the forum.

Probably and they wouldn't mind anymore as they've transitioned and focused into their local market and I guess the forum doesn't mean anything to them anymore.

But despite that, they all started being popular in here though the main market of theirs is no longer gonna come from here.

Is this going to be something like aggregator website to find the best rates for exchanges, or just list of all available exchanges with basic information about them and maybe short review with ref links?

It's not going to be an aggregator. I was actually thinking of maybe a combination of both sites so basically:

- Rates
- Open source or not
- Monero support
- Supported networks/chains and coins (with the ability to filter)
- LN support
- link to Trustpilot reviews + the ability to review the exchange on the site as well
etc.

Your thoughts? Or do you still think it's a bit pointless?

So, are you going to make a professional website? Or one just for fun? I mean, if you are gonna turn it into a business and generate profit like bestchange does, then it's 100% up to you but if you are going to make it for fun and won't be able to put a lot of effort, then I would say that that's a bit pointless because these two websites do their job very well and fairly easy-to-use.

I think you are doing well by keeping this list the way it's listed here. I used your list when mempool was clogged because some instant exchanges that I have used, weren't accepting bitcoin deposits.

If you can pull this off with honest reviews, I'm all for it! The one thing I don't like about BestChange is that they allow each exchange to censor their negative feedback. It's going to be tough though to decide which feedbacks are honest and which ones are fake.

Wait a sec....I could swear there is an aggregator out there for instant exchanges but for the life of me I can't remember what the url is or even if I was hallucinating it.  But I was on some shitcoin's website and was browsing the exchange section, which had a bunch of instant exchanges of which I visited a few just for the hell of it.  I could have sworn one of them compared all the rates of the most popular ones.

I'm not sure a new site is needed for this or not, but I do think these kinds of exchanges might become more popular as everything moves toward KYC.  Somehow the swap exchanges have avoided that, though I'm not sure how or if it'll continue, but they're definitely convenient if you just want to do an trade without the hassle of registering on one of the traditional exchanges.

An overview page is always good. For older forum users this thread is certainly sufficient. For non-forum users an extra website could be interesting.
Should the website also be found via the usual search engines? Then please put a link to this thread. That way more interested users will come to the forum.
If you have enough time, just do it. In a year or so you can look at the statistics and evaluate then.

The discussion about Mixers using cloudfare (Mixers using cloudflare's SSL certificates (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5247838.0)) prompted me to examine if any from the listed exchanges given in post #1 use it. To get the information, I used the website https://www.wmtips.com/tools/info.
As a result, only 3 Instant exchanges do not use Cloudfare: https://flyp.me, https://www.coinplaza.it and https://bity.com.

Evonax.com is not in the list. According to https://www.isitdownrightnow.com/evonax.com.html this site is down more than a week.

You can see https://bitcoinvn.io in the list (formerly Bitcoin Vietnam). I have not used this site so far. This service has introduced itself in the German board: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5220437.msg62663934#msg62663934

I do see the rates, but once I enter the amount of BTC I want to swap, the amount of the other coin I am going to receive does not show up. It just remains at 0.0. Also, I can't connect the wallet at all. It shows connected on my Test Trust wallet via wallet connect, but on the web app it's as though the wallet is yet to be connected. They are also going to enable lending after the next upgrade.
If they can pause and start swaps whenever they want then this is not really decentralized or non-custodial exchange, and I would not trust them with larger amount of coins.
As for adding lending feature, this is another red flag for me, and it would not surprise me to see this turning into scam or ''exploit'' by unknown NK hackers in future.

I guess it's still buggy
Or they are simply junk... but I will give it a try myself in next few days.

The pause could be requested for a limited time from all the nodes, so it is a decentralized way to do it.
If you have time, give it a deeper look in the documentation.

lol, I gave quick glance in op and wrote the comment, didn't realize sideshift was already there, should have used find-in-page function.

Regarding Orangefren, there seems to be limited number of pairs available.

Just some additional information. Sideshift.ai seems to have blocked users from certain Jurisdictions from accessing their website. Instead, one gets redirected to Sifi.org, which they claim to be their partner. Some on chain swap service of sorts. I don't know how reliable they are since I have never used them.

@OmegaStarScream, I suggest you add eXch.cx Instant exchange to first post

This is twisted considering that they don't ask for KYC, so they shouldn't have any regional restrictions. Have you tried with another browser or maybe even via VPN?
btw. It works normally on my side.

Where was your IP? I just tried with the most likely country to be redirected -- USA and I was right, I got redirected lol. I tried a couple of other countries and they worked fine -- NL, SG, JP, AUS, UK.

It's interesting that I can't seem to access sideshift's terms or service page. Dropping it on urlscan.io returns an error as well. I wonder if they're in the middle of changing some stuff.

Perhaps they don't want to fall into trouble with the US or whatever law enforcement body is out there... or should we say they are "cowards"?  ;D

Exch.cx have had a fair share of similar threats (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=577207.msg63095784#msg63095784)

Yeah, it was because the IP address was pointing to the US

Yep, it's the US.

It's here - https://sideshift.ai/legal

The blocked countries are;

3.4. The Services are not intended for use by individuals who are citizens or nationals of or resident in United States of America, Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Saint Kitts and Nevis or Syria.

Obviously, Sideshift.ai are not completely NO-KYC, because that does not go together with Prohibited jurisdictions.

For example, what NO-KYC should look like in practice. (when we already mention exch.cx)

Quote
Prohibited jurisdictions: None (we are unable to detect customers country anyway because we have IP-logging disabled and none of our software pieces process such information)

Strange. I was pretty certain that I added exch. I'll make sure to add it, thanks.

As for SideShift, then this should also taken into consideration even one is not from the mentioned jurisdictions:

https://help.sideshift.ai/en/articles/6230858-sideshift-ai-s-risk-management-policy

I believe I talked about this before, but back then, I don't remember that "a refund" was only possible after completing the KYC process. They must've added that part recently.

Very nice thread OP, it helped me to find some good exchanges but I want to share my recent experience with Changehero. I decided to make a quick exchange with changehero, entered my altcoin address, calculated the amount, then their btc address showed up where I had to transfer the money, then I sent the coins from my wallet and then I receive a message on their website that time has expired (while only some minutes have passed) and if I wanted to make an exchange, I had to try again. I contacted their support and they were checking the problem but I didn't hear reply for five minutes and used transaction cancel option on Electrum because transaction wasn't confirmed yet. Thanks god, I received money back.

I don't say that changehero is a scammer or like that but I would be careful with them.

I think they have had some few accusations here that got resolved with the pressure from the community, thus I would be very cautious using them. Maybe I would start off with instant exchanges that don't have a KYC clause on their TOS or look for the less controversial ones.

Glad that you got to cancel the transaction in time.

ّIn my opinion, Flashift's place in this list is really empty because with Flashshift https://flashift.app (https://flashift.app) you can find the best rate among these exchanges. Please add Flashshift to the list.

Things don't quite go that way. The idea of such lists is not to collect as many instant exchanges as possible but to be a list of verified services. This is not the case with you.
For example, it is strange to me why you have referral links from other competitors on your page. Are you developing your business or is it an affiliate business?

Does your platform also provide an exchange service or they are just an aggregator meant to lay out information for users because there is a difference between the two in which the latter does not exactly fit the list.

But if your aggregator is seriously good (e.g./together with orangefren, kycnot.me, etc. ) perhaps op might consider adding an honorable mention for aggregators or something however, the thread hasn't been updated for some time.

Looks more like an affiliate business. It's like an aggregator show different instant exchange rates and then when you choose one to carry out an exchange from, the person behind the aggregator will earn a commission through the referral link used to carry out a trade.

I don't know if they are reliable or trustworthy, though.

I contacted through customer support but they are not replying which is not good. I will update here if I received any reply. Kindly use other swap platform till team resolve issue. Due to privacy matter I don't want to share transaction hash here. I habe checked Address provided by Side shift and Usdt has been sent successfully.

@Gladitorcomeback, did you get back your money?

Please let us know what transpired. I have been planning to do some swaps with them, but I don't want to be another victim. In the past, the swaps went on smoothly, but you can never know, things change.

Oh sorry I almost forgot it. Yes I recieved payment but I don't like their chat service. I used this instant exchange for more than 10 times and that was first time I faced issue. I reported through chat message but customer replied me after 6 hours. Generally reply before 24 hours is not considered bad but if you want to exchange tokens instantly then I think customer service should also reply instantly.

In short After giving all necessary information I got payment in no time. You can use this service.

Tips: Ton USDT withdraw is totally free of cost if your fund is available in centralized exchange.

Zigzag is now closed unfortunately.
Quote
"See you" Announcement
Zigzag exchange will cease operations in 2024 as server costs have exceeded the revenues from Bitcoin to Lightning exchanges. Over five years, we haven't lost a single payment, though there have been some incomplete exchanges.

If you have any questions, please contact us at support@onout.org or visit our support bot at OnOut Support Bot.

For LN to BTC exchanges or vice versa, use centralized exchanges like Bitfinex or Binance.

Follow us on Twitter for future updates.

Besides that, Mt Pelerin (https://www.mtpelerin.com/fr) deserves to be mentioned as non-KYC instant/swap exchange IMO. In the same way as Bity they offer fiat exchanges without KYC (under $1000) thanks to the Swiss laws. They don't offer many different cryptocurrencies and mostly stable coins but they support LN transactions and their exchange rates are rather good unlike some other swap services.
