Title: Selling reviews for money.
Post by: ScamViruS on January 19, 2020, 06:47:35 AM
He is offering paid google playstore app reviews. Which is a bit like cheating. Because before installing an app, everyone looks at the app's rating. Many people are scammed by installing the app after seeing good reviews. Because paid reviews are always good. This type of review has led many people to various scams before. I think these service providers should be tagged.

Yes, it is totally out of the way to get fake reviews on Play Store.

I do not disagree with your logic.  That is why I deleted the thread immediately after seeing this. I have no intention to cheat with people. To me, I have people doing micro-task like this. That is why I thought about why I am not open to that type of service?  And obviously, if I got offered first I check the app! Anyway, I realize my fault and now I am not offering this kind of service. I really apologize for my mistake. Honestly speaking I am not aware of this. When you saw my thread you can also warn me in my tread. Now I can only hope you guys remove the red tag from my profile

Yes, it is totally out of the way to get fake reviews on Play Store.

I believe the best way to approach this is to "Flag as Inappropriate" in Play Store.

This way you can send a feedback to google and hopefully it will be removed from Play Store.
Flagging it here is not that effective imo.

Just got the image on the web to show as an example, this is other app.

Fake reviews are scam, before installing app I always read reviews and sometimes it happens that app has bunch of 5 stars, comments like "great app", and, after downloading it I realize it is peace of shit and reviews are not really true.

Didn't I tag you because you advertised obvious ponzi scheme in signature then I replaced negative with neutral?

You don't get third chance.

Yes, sir. I can remind you that and also grateful because you are always aware of such a scam. I also think a continuous mistake is not getting 3rd chance. before I got one chance. When I got tag I immediately remove the signature. you know that. and this is the 2nd time. I always try to work with honesty and I want to contribute to this forum in proper way. If I do any mistake I hope you guys always aware like that and I can also promise in next I am too careful to avoid any mistake.

I checked his trust list, S/he seems involved in many scam cases, so dealing with him may lead to scam (lose your 0.01 BTC) or support scaming (buy fake reviews.)
Selling fake reviews is a help to scammers and AFAIK it is against Googleplay ToS.

If you want to work with honesty why do you act so dishonestly?
You promote ponzi, trying to steal other people's money. You pay for fake reviews, trying to fooling legit users....

You are far from working with honesty

So are your two positives. (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=trust;u=1324004)
Why would jony35490 and cryptorana describe you as "very honest" and "very trusted", when it's obvious you are neither?

But, here is reference. If you post with the intention of doing something illegal service. Then everything about you becomes clear that you are not trustworthy in any way. We want BitcoinTalk to be scammer free.

That is why I thought about why I am not open to that type of service?  And obviously, if I got offered first I check the app!

Why haven't you read ToS on Google Playstore? Fake reviews include cheating. Everyone knows that, including you.

You did good job for the community.  No question about that and i have full respect for your contribution.  I already Admitted that yes i did wrong. I need to more research before posting.  I just saw this thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1809764.0 and came to my mind in this idea.  It's not any excuse.  This is the real fact.  Believe it or not.

I also think selling reviews for an app is completely wrong  >:( As marlboroza said, let's think about the fact when we want to download an application that we never knew before, the first thing we do is reading reviews about it, nobody wants to use an application with 1 star rating, right? So the service that coinliker is providing will distort information about the application, or in other words, it is a way to cheat users.

Fake reviews include cheating. Everyone knows that, including you.
And you admit you are providing fraudulent services

I think i fail to explain I have no bad intention. Again I want to clear I just opened that thread yesterday and I am not provided any service that harms people. I am not aware of that. After seeing this thread I am aware of my fault and I admitted that. If senior members like you think that it's not forgivable then I have nothing to say. In concern mind, I am not associated with any cheating service. Again I say sorry for all community members for my bad service that I offered

Without selling any fake review you guys give me a red tag one after another and that hurts me a lot. I ask a question for all senior members. Am I really deserve it after I admitted all things immediately?
Intent counts for a lot... So, while you may not have actually managed to make any money selling fake reviews and you admit that what you did was wrong, that doesn't change the fact that you attempted to sell fake reviews.

This makes you untrustworthy in the eyes of the people who have left you negative trust ratings.

I told you when you have sent me PM, just be cool and try to prove yourself trustworthy. But seems you are bumping this thread continuously to draw attention from more DT members. In a result more red tag reflecting on your profile. How would you expect that DT's will removed tag immediately even your you have deleted your thread. The fact is I tag you for selling fake reviews and that service you advertising on the forum. Just keep in your mind, every quick rich method is harmful. Often users read reviews when they are going to install a software from Google Play.

Red tag will not prevent on your contribution, so contribute for forum and prove yourself as a trustworthy member, then I would reconsider my tag but no need further PM for remove red tag.

I have an assumption: If you kill someone accidentally, will you be punished by law? Can you explain: "I don't know killing is a crime"? If your explanation is accepted by law and ignored, the DTs here will also remove the tag for you  ;D
The same thing here, you're selling reviews, it's from you, and of course you'll provide positive reviews. What do you think when you're talking about you not selling any fake reviews? You can make 1,000 real reviews, but you are impersonating other users for reviews. And the fact that you have provided harmful services to the community, you cannot deny. You cannot say "I don't know" to deny your responsibility.

No.

Can you explain: "I don't know killing is a crime"?
Murder is a crime, killing isn't necessarily a crime. It can be an accident or self defence.

I'm only going into this to show you came up with a bad example :P

I've seen many offers to pay for reviews, just like I've seen review websites that are paid by the company and only post positive reviews. Since I know this, I also know never to rely on reviews alone.

Thanks to all DT members and all senior members for here to share your observation. The most important thing I learn from here, '' If you did wrong something and realize yes you did wrong and after that, if you apologize for your fault then you will get more and more punishment."

It's more like: if you did something wrong, the more attention you draw, the more negative feedback you get.

Perhaps there is a slight difference in the laws in which we live  :D Whether it is an accident or self defence, you are still subject to criminal liability, which only helps to reduce your crime to a minimum, but you are still guilty. LOL maybe my example is a bit bad  :P

Why are you spamming my inbox? I have already told you my opinion.

You advertised ponzi - I removed negative. Then you tried to sell fake reviews. What's next? I don't trust you.
