Lately the market is showing some positive gains in BTC and most of top altcoins too, but how long it will sustain? and the most common question was is it an organic gains? or just an artificially driven? for me the market movements was remain a mystery maybe it was an organic gains or just artificially driven.

No one really has any clue about crypto market movement, Except Whales, They run the show. Just buy Bitcoin/your favourite altcoin and watch the rise/fall. To me it looks like the market will be moving up!!

Nobody can actually predict where and when does the bitcoin and other altcoin's price inflation stops but as long as it is continue rises, we should be glad because we can earn an large amount of money. This are more or less predicted. There's a correction lately as tomorrow is the Chinese new year. And as the bitcoin halving is coming in may, we could assume 2020 would be a year of rise in price of crypto as every year with a halving made a good year for profit. It's not rocket science. Cryptocurrency is too volatile which makes it too risky, at least for now. And I can only say is, be used to it. 300-600$ up or downtrend is just common here if you compare a 1-2k move of price in just few hours way back in 2017. So, I say it again, be used to it, and work with it to make and gain profits with it.

I see that it's already over. but the market always moves up and down, so now we can go down a bit and then again the growth of bitcoin and other altcoins will begin. I believe in ETH growth in the coming months to a minimum of $ 220, but I could be wrong.

Possibilities:

1) Organic: Bitcoin block reward halving is getting nearer and in history, the prices of cryptos went to the moon after this happening so they are expecting the same thing so investing in cryptos from the beginning of this new year.

2) Trap by whales: Whales will pump the coins when people are expecting so they will later dump it for huge profits.

for cryptocurrency it seems difficult to guess how long btc and altcoin stay at high or low values, no one will know but if you look at it from the current rate it's likely not to last this long just my opinions and specifications

The market has been driven by greed for a long time, this isn't 2009 anymore so when investors sees they can profit by the time of halving the greedier can they become. Keep shorting for a higher price and they will eat them all up. This will all be pumping and dumping game and those who will accumulate the more are the ones going to profit more. All we can hope for is more players like the institutional investors.

Cryptocurrencies prices are very difficult to predict. At times you see some good spike the next minutes is going down again. Though i have this feelings that prices will go up the more.

This movement of Bitcoin it's not driven by artificial. To find or know organic gain of Bitcoin, wait for 2-3 months after halving Bitcoin. If you are looking for sustainable price than buy some stable coin. But I think after halving Bitcoin price couldn't dump below 8K USD.

Where are you basing this theory that the correction would be slow? If there's enough sales it will create a snow ball effect and the price will dump a lot before people can put more money in to create more liquidity. I wouldn't call that manipulation.

Just look again to the whole market again, it's dropping and I think it really happens during weekends or it's another coincidence that I've noticed. I started noticing it when somebody pointed it out and it tends to be true.

One things for sure, organically driven or not, if you are making profits out of it then it is a good sign you are doing well in crypto currencies. We nee to learn on how to go with the flow here, we are not capable of manipulation like the whales do, all we had to do is wait for them to do so and make the most out of it. It will sustain until bitcoin reaches the next peak price dude. It's a normal gain because it has been driving by a good event just like halving of bitcoin. it's not a pump just like what already done by BSV and BCH which were used wash trading to manipulate the market. We cant control what other traders do on the market. Obviously !he pump that happened yesterday until 9.1k for btc is just a brute force by whales pumping hard and then slowly rekt those who ride thinking its already bull run. Ive seen it cause its obvious a short one and likely to fall back but its doesnt any make sense until 8.6k should be 8.8k to 9k as the resistance isnt that intact.

Movements of crypto market is always unpredictable which means we cannot be sure about on which direction market is heading. But, we can strongly say nothing will sustain in this markets; yes everything will be short living. Bitcoin is going for a halving and that means a lot for investors. That means demand and that means price increase.

The only legit gains we have seen so far is in BTC it went as high as $9100 on some exchanges about 24 hours ago. But let's be honest, BTC has also some big whales that can play us, right now we have seen some minor correction. Good thing is that the support is there. So we might see the price goes on $9k again once the correction is done with a couple of days.

We can't say if this will take long and itlf it's organic or artificial but what I can say about this movement is that, it is a good start for 2020 and hoping that it will continue until the end of the year.

They can do everything they want with their huge amount of money in this market, if we know what the market will be like in the future then surely we will always invest successfully and get profit. DASH has already made a huge movement again since it was getting dumped last year and it has been getting more than 100 increase just in a short time and isn't it a good achievement so far for dash right now this year? When people dump/pump, there will be buyers who become holders, sellers who then rebuy into it if they regret selling too early

I think this depends on the trend, when many people love crypto it has a positive effect on the price, and vice versa. but the improvement of services in crypto also contributes to its development, the more innovation and profit, the more bitcoiners will be needed to carry out its activities

I think BTC gains in the last few days is a case of manipulations by whales in order to entrap unsuspecting noobs. Although for hodlers of some other cryptocurrency outside BTC, it's a lucky break as they're seriously cashing out. I'd say for all to move with caution as the price might come crashing any moment when the whales wanna cash out.

Sustainability after all is not what the market players and makers look for. They need the prices to rise as much as they need the prices to fall. The rising and falling are both good as a matter of fact. The rising is for taking away the gains and the profit made through the days, weeks, months, and years of trading and the falling is a time for refilling the wallets.

Everything looks well, there is a huge resistance level 9100-9250, Bitcoin tried to break this resistance level but failed, initially price dropped into support level. there is a strong support at 8800, i think it is mother of buy zone..

Such up and down movements maybe good for traders like us who know the market behaviour of bitcoin but what about other investors? Will they ever dare to invest in bitcoin if bitcoin continue to make circular movement in prices? High volatility is the main reason why most of the renowned investors like Warren Buffet regarded bitcoin as bubble. It won't be considered as serious investment unless its market stabilizes by some degrees.

Only bitcoin investors are able to make biggest gains here which is why I keep saying bitcoin should be every investors top priority, only few top altcoins yield something like, EOS, ETH, BCH, BSV but these gains aren't big enough like bitcoin gains

The crypto market movement is not a mystery it is called volatility.  The volatility of the market relies on different factors such as price manipulation, hype, FUD, Fomo, actual demand etc.  Since crypto is an speculative asset, it is normal that the market price will be highly volatile which was taken advantage by those who have enough fund to influence the market.  It is not the mystery that is moving around the crypto market but the manipulation and influence of some few individual who has huge amount of funds.

I don't think the reason why Warren Buffet regarded Bitcoin as a bubble is due to its high volatility. Warren Buffet considers Bitcoin as such because it lacks a value on its own, a face value, a value intrinsic to itself. Warren was not looking for stability. He was looking for intrinsic value.

Investors always look for ups and downs as those are exit and entry points for them, respectively.

It didn't sustain for a long time and yesterday I think the price of Bitcoin went down from around 9200 to around 8600 immediately.

Crypto market is a speculative market so it really is moving like a "mystery" indeed. I think you can change the word mystery that you use to volatility because the market is very volatile as always. Tomorrow it will go up by $300 and the next day it will went down by $500. Well, this is also happening in stock market although the correction is lower. Investors are always setting a target selling price.

What is the basic that every investor should do before investing in any market, they need to study the market completely before investing and if they do they will come to know the volatility level of the bitcoin market and if someone is not taking the time to study the market fluctuation then he might get burned and never come back again but you need to do the basics in every investment and there is no excuse about it.

No one will literally know about the price movement of both Bitcoin and Altcoins because as we all know, cryptocurrencies are always open to volatility in which changes in terms of price can happen in no time so the price movement is really unpredictable and that will be too hard to determine on which direction will the price go every now and then. We have started this year with a very kick start because of what we have witnessed with regards to the price movement behavior of Bitcoin together with the Altcoins that rely or depend their prices into it. Also, the top ranked Altcoins are also showing positivity. Let us just be contented on what is currently happening and just hope for the best things to come in the next days, weeks and months instead of over thinking if this is just temporary.

Yeah crypto market is volatile and we don’t know how the price will move this year. The price is improving now so should take advantage of last fall of price and buy more till up in market.  I like this volatility as it gives me opportunity to buy some profit able coins at very suitable price and the best thing is high probabilities of its rise in price within time.

ofc its always a mystery because everything on crypto are anonymous or hidden  . we dont know if the demand comes from real single people or only came from group of people that only wants to control the price again and again  . organic means natural right  ?  well id think i give to the organic gains this time because people are expecting huge for the upcoming halving  . war is the other reason on why i say that the gain is organic   . but for a normal year that is nothing to expect  , if we see a strange growth , high chance that is artificial  .

The organic growth is not the case here, many people will act in the bulk-buying activities due to the taking back the control of the market. The volatility is not going to hit the highest level if the BTC whales become less than 5% of the total wallet holders. The Google search trend for BTC is at the peak again after 1 year but this is not a good indicator.

Nice points but for now the war threat died down already so has no impact on the market. I also think it's organic growth, but we have to be careful from 25th January to 8th of Next month since Chinese new year might cause a dump, I'm not sure. However, I'm impressed with the market lately, it gives hope.

We do not have any idea how long will it be like that. But for sure, the main reason of the market movement of bitcoin is the halving that is about to happen this upcoming April - May. Consumers are now buying bitcoin now so that they can sell it for a higher price sooner or later after the halving takes effect. They are doing it for them to be able to have a big amount of profit.

The Chinese New Year will definitely be important for the entire cryptocurrency market. However, I think it can have a positive effect on prices, not a negative one. After all, it is the beginning of the new year for investment .. I think that the Chinese will want to invest, not withdraw from the market.

Price speculators are suprised bitcoin is not going their way as suggeted their TA and they attribute this to unseen FA. Bitcoin grows when prediction says down and when people are high in hope the price drops. This is like a magic, but it's a pure technologist.

most of the traders agreed btc had bottomed out when it touched $3k and i think it did twice, most probably it is what it is.  the price will just keep the seesaw but more investors are bullish because of the halving. if you are planing to just hold you BTC, you can buy now and not worry about the fluctuations that happens everyday.

In my opinion, the movement in the market is not always artificially induced, it could be organic or simply based on the forces of demand and supply. The bull run has been anticipated for a long time and this could be a sign that the bull run is getting closer. We need to appreciate the increasing value of cryptocurrency and hope that the bull run meets us with good tidings.

That's the goodness of cryptocurrency, that it is unpredictable, so if you will have profit, then you can really gain from it, but if it works in different moves, then you will lose from it as well too. So, better be careful with your investment too as it can also lead you to more losses as the market can be manipulated by whales.

It's a combination of both, sometimes organic sometimes artificially driven, there are numerous times and occasions that whales are controlling the market, they are pumping it and there were times that it grows organically because there are new people coming in, so it's up to the community to check what is it.

if you understand further, the movements of all the stock markets and not just crypto are almost the same. if you see a price increase, then you should also consider the fluctuations reflected in the chart movement, and whether the trend is only temporary or even permanent. This is not a mystery if you look at organic movements from a longer period of time, manipulation will only occur in the short term and also many factors that influence it, which occurred earlier this month are more directed to temporary fundamentals.

There is no as such mystery to the price movement. The market is dictated by the Bitcoin. It was recovering but couldn't break the resistance of 9700. Once, it becomes a support we could see a major bullish move. Though market corrected a bit right now but it can still chase that resistance.

Altcoins follow Bitcoin in highly bullish frames which recently happened. It is all about the sentiments. Once Bitcoin made that gain, altcoins followed their respective technicals and went up.

Crypto is unpredictable since the volatility is passive, meaning the value is changing everytime. We all know that when there's transaction occured, there's a changes on the value of the particular crypto. Like you said, the crypto market is like a mystery. Just like now, the direction of movement is sometimes surprising, it is still a mystery whether it will move steadily rising or going down the price.

The organic growth can be count if the smart money flows slowly toward the crypto total market cap. The main cause of the bear market is the lack of confidence by crypto whales and they rush to sell the altcoin at the first sign of weakness which can be easily done with FUD. The latest price movements of BTC has happened with the inside moving funds from altcoin markets, IMHO.

The price of cryptocurrencies have indeed increase significantly lately. Many people predicted a short rise in bitcoin's price before the halving.
So may be because of the hype people would have bought in creating a short spike in bitcoin's price.
The price is still holding well which is a positive sign for it to increase further in near future.

That is what everyone should do but they do not take the time to do it, many newbie traders come to this market and love the amazing profits they can make but just as the market can help you it can also turn against you really quickly and then they complain about it, it seems as if the don't understand the volatility of the market at all and how they need to be very careful about it if they do not want to be hurt by it, and even if we warned them about it they simply do not listen because for some reason they think they know more than us despite having years of experience in this market.

The crypto price movement is like a roller coaster that continues to move without stopping, and it is not uncommon that the price movement often gives a surprise to us traders, but in this case, as a trader we must be able to read and analyze every movement that will occur so that with each price condition crypto in the market can be utilized to gain profit in every trade.

If you intend to made cryptocurrency as your income I suggest you to don't have any bad image to cryptocurrency. Just learn what will you to reach what you want, such as if you are trader just trade as you wanted and learn how to trade well, if you an investor just invest your money on it choose strategy as you wanted.

Cryptocurrencies prices are depend on supply and demand and there is nothing which can move their price. As long as you know what price that will reach in the future you will benefited. I don't know what the organic gain and artificially driven mean, but to convince cryptocurrencies are safe to save your money as long as you choose the right coin.

But that is never going to happen whales are always going to dominate this market, they have the money and they have the bitcoin to do whatever they want, and even if we tried to get rid of them it will not work since they will be replaced by other individuals with even more money that can buy even more coins, we must accept that and move with the whales and make money with them because if we go against them we are going to get crushed and we will lose our money.

because we all know that crypto prices are very volatile and change all the time, so we won't know how long the market lasts. but if you look at the current bitcoin price chart, that is a good sign, because bitcoin has reached the price of $ 90k after passing through two gray seasons between 2018-2019 and 2020 is a good start for a rise in the price of Bitcoin.

agree with what you say that the crypto market is very uncertain and not predictable at all, can change quickly without being prevented. but bitcoin is now showing a good start at the end of January it has been able to break through $ 9K, this is an encouraging thing. hopefully it can continue to move up and will move the growth of new projects and begin to revive crypto

I don't know, maybe yes maybe not. Manipulation or not only those who truly have great interests and power can really do it. The rest we can only do analysis, both fundamentally and technically to predict price movements, outlining a little mystery that is difficult to solve and full of surprises. So that it's not too complicated, just ignore the assumption that this is manipulation or not, do the best analysis you can do, take the right position to take profit, put limits on stop loss, that's enough, I feel.

Always wanted to know what is the difference between these too cases: organic gains and artificially driven.
Both cases are manipulated pumps in fact.

You cannot really ignore the possibilities that what we are seeing is the result of manipulation, it may seem as if your only choice is to look at the charts and that is it, but there are many other indicators that can give you greater insight about what it is happening in the market and in my opinion what we are seeing right now is the result of the manipulation of the whales since I do not really see an increase in the interest of people to adopt bitcoin that could bring the growth we are witnessing.

Though some people are refer to as expert but as far as am concern, cryptocurrency is unpredictable. In crypto anything can happen so it is difficult to understand the movement of prices.

For me, everything happens for a reason so I don't think it is because of organic reasons why crypto is doing well. Remember that there are plenty of big fishes out there in the sea and in my opinion even though it isn't easy, the market could be manipulated as long as there is money. For small fishes like us, everything could be unpredictable so what I do is just let us enjoy our share whenever the market is on a bull run.

Hmm the crypto market is actually unstable and I guess that this little pump was a  strategy made it by the whales but we don't even know what is the reason for that , as you see now the price of BTC is stable in 9K and it is completely possible that this best coin will rise to 10K  but in my opinion, this price is going to achieve  in February and not now. Plus, make sure that the whole market is manipulated by the capitalists, and it will never help them in order for  achieving their goals especially when there is a significant rise in a short period on the market.

I did not think that anything depended on small fish like us. Everything that happens on the market is exclusively connected with manipulations in one way or another.
See how news resources work. When there is a strong price movement, they just wonder, no one knows for sure what happened and they just start to adjust the facts to the result.
Thus, the information that we own is most often very doubtful and we do not see any real leverage that affects the crypto market.

In the last three weeks, there is no massive pump, so I think the market is growing organically and expectantly because of the coming halving and the news of top company and countries creating their own version of Cryptocurrency, this is just enough for the market to grow organically.

Crypto-market has been showing signs of recovery recently .The market has been low since 2018 with little improvement in 2019 and I think the rise of the market is mostly due to organic gains which we all hope that it will continue through out this year.Maybe we will be able to see increase in prices of altcoins soon hopefully.

All markets move in ways that are impossible to predict, that is something you learn really fast but that is not really the real question, the question is if despite that unpredictability in the markets you have a way to earn some money in them? If you do not then it is better to stay away from the markets but if you can then who cares if you cannot predict what the markets are going to do as long as you are reaching your goal of making more money for yourself.

Definitely, we can see the changes of the market as of now since it begun to fall down last two years ago. yes, the price of coins on the market is almost like a mystery, unpredictable or unpredictable. I mean, the rise and fall of coin prices in the market depends on the demand and supply in the market, sometimes even prices can increase significantly and vice versa. but I personally believe that only bitcoin is a profitable investment and will never go down to its lowest price.

I am not so sure the gains that we are seeing are organic at all, in my opinion there are clear signs the market is being pushed up deliberately by the whales and this is not really the right scenario to invest if you missed the beginning of this correction, probably at this time it is better to wait since it seems we are reaching the climax of the movement with some coins like ethereum showing some extreme movements that are difficult to justify with its fundamentals.

The only people who can say about the crypto market price moving are the whale investor. They are the main people who mostly control the markets. Right now it's like a dream. Price is only rising. Before we have seen price goes ups then down the ups again down but this time its constantly moving upward. That's very strange. I can’t tell what’s really making the price to go up, but since last year we have been looking forward to the next Bitcoin Halving and some experts has predicted that there is going to be a huge increase (bull run) after the next Halving that is going to take place in May this 2020.

The Halving is fast approaching and it’s just about two months plus and it will take place. Maybe after the halving there might be a slight decrease and after that the price will start going up so fast till hits another ATH price. Bitcoin has crossed $9000 and is currently getting close to $10,500 which is something most people were not expecting.
